hello I'm s Wenger this is a pre-recorded version of a presentation delivered to the red Spectre Academy if you like to be a member of our Academy for more Marxist educational content please consider joining for links provided in the video's description Marxism leninism is a scientific framework for understanding Society history and reality generally it is considered scientific in the aspects that it employs empirical methods of analyses to draw its conclusions Marxism leninism is the leading Revolutionary theory of the working class no other revolutionary theory is capable of leading the working class the proletariat to Revolution and the successful construction of socialism additionally Marxism leninism gives us a concrete understanding of capitalism and Revolution particularly in the forms of its analysis of imperialism the methods of the Vanguard party and socialist construction how is Marxism founded Marxism has its origins in the classical Marxism of K Marx and Frederick Eng Les both of these figures lived in time period of early industrial capitalism when the class antagonisms between the proletarian and Bourgeois were just beginning to emerge and develop and intensify Marxism developed from French Proto or utopian socialism English political economy and German philosophy all of these schools of thought had some kernel of Truth to them however Marx and angles developed them into a coherent scientific framework classical Marxism or the Marxism of Marx and angles developed into Marxism leninism with the contributions of Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin like marks and Eng Les lennin and Stalin lived in a time period when capitalism was transforming into a new phase the phase of imperialism and proletarian Revolution Marxism leninism is a higher stage of Marxism it augments the existing body of Marxist theory to advance it without distorting it that is to say that it grounds itself in the scientific theories established by marks and angles however it does not distort them but uses its scientific method of analysis to adapt it to Modern condition to improve it what are the components of Marxism leninism dialectical and historical materialism the philosophy of Marxism dialectical materialism is named as such because it is both dialectical it seeks to understand the inter relationship between things their internal contradictions their fluctuations and movements it is materialist in that it grounds its analyses and Truth in the material world not on human ideals the application of dialectical materialism to the Realms of Sociology history and politics is known as historical materialism Marxist economics the economic aspects of Marxism enumerate or reveal how motive production such as capitalism feudalism socialism Etc function and its laws Scientific Socialism of socialist and communist Tendencies existed before yet Marxism is the first truly scientific one before Marxism all that was present was utopian socialism which was unable to provide the proletariat with liberative ideology what are the theories of Marxism leninism the theories developed by Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin include the Vanguard party the concept of the most politically Advanced educated section of the class or Vanguard must unite to constitute a single Communist party to direct revolutionary action and to operate on the basis of democratic centralism the organizational form of the Vanguard party which permits both unity and action yet freedom of discussion socialism in one country the concept that socialism can exist in one country or one grouping of countries for a prolonged period of time in addition that social ISM can also exist and succeed in less developed backwards agrarian countries as opposed to industrialized countries alongside this lenon and Stalin enumerated the forms and intensification of class struggle under socialism further Lenin in particular contributed an analysis of imperialism as the highest stage of capitalism just like with Marx and lennin who lived in a newer era of Economic Development Lenin lived in the era of emerging imperialist capitalism a capitalism dominated by corporate trust syndicates Finance Capital Etc who made massive profits for the exploitation of less developed countries and the exportation of capital the theories of Marxism leninism which were developed also include anti-revisionism that is to say a coherent analysis of revisionism and opportunism how they develop and emerge and take shape and how to combat them this is a consequence of the era in which Marxism leninism developed when opportunism and revisionism were prevalent and attacking the workingclass movement and socialist Revolution I will now conclude this presentation with a question how is Marxism leninism unique and Superior compared to other nominally socialist Tendencies with examples being anarchism maoism Etc why are you a Marxist leninist as opposed to being an adherent of these other tendencies
