Lee Daniel’s The Deliverance Movie Review W/ Mr. J & Mo

back again with another movie revieww starring Mo and Mr J what's up y'all okay so today we will be reviewing the Deliverance it is a movie um written I guess produced by Lee Daniels a star as Andrew day Glen cloes Monique and a lot of other people okay and it came out on November 30th it is a horror suspense movie and so let's get into it but before we get into it I just want to say I P what was that [Laughter] what was that what was that what the hell is so funny I'm not following I I'm confused right now I'm really lost so you don't remember that part of the movie no I don't what part was that that's the mama when she she had died and she became a demon when it was doing the exis yeah and she said I can smell your nasty [ __ ] I bust out laughing like the movie was so serious until then and I'm like I can't okay back to so let's get into it so go ahead tell me your thoughts about the movie did you enjoy it do you think it was a good horror movie no I'm have to give this F two thumbs down like the last one because my yes I mean it was okay I just don't like the fact that it took so long to get into something scary the buildup was whack it wasn't no it seemed like at the beginning it wasn't no horror film it was more of a like a domestic family film that was we was yeah it came in as a domestic family film when it's supposed to be a horror or suspense film but it wasn't really no buildup to the the demon the demon I think they should have met that black lady a little bit a lot sooner the only scary things happened in the last 25 minutes of the film yeah there was a lot of buildup I still don't understand like why she was so angry why she was so or she did get r a p e d and she had a bad relationship with her mom but why was she so angry towards her kids so like why was she doing all of that is she had lot going on and she was broke or like what is going on but she and at the end I feel like okay if it was one in possessing all the kids shouldn't all the kids been in the house like it would made it a lot more interesting that [ __ ] happened to them all all type of other places like they should have been right there too where the demon went crazy okay so this is based on a real story I think the girl the lady's name is latoia Aman and so I had read the real story and it was like uh a church or somebody from a church had came to her house and they told her like she had over 200 100 demons in her house so I think in the movie maybe there was like the one that possessed the kid but it was like a lot of other entities that may have got to other kids too well as far as the movie wise I think they should have been there when the um the Seance happened [ __ ] yeah I think it should have been more people at the end of like witnessing this demon okay hold on we won we at the end let's go back to the beginning okay so the beginning of the movie I think Monique did a good job you think Monique did a good job yeah you don't think so I mean I feel like it was more of her film she should have had a more play a I I I feel like she should have been the main role instead of a social worker I feel like the demon and family I think that role should have been her to play that's what I think yeah it could have been because she looked like the lady in she kind of looked like the lady in real life yeah far as teach like exactly so that was crazy and and she is a more known actor so you see what I'm saying so Andre day Andre day I think she did a good job though I think she was good for the main character I think Monique should have been the main character and she should have been a social work yeah we all know Monique know how to play hardship did precious though and that was directed by the same dude that did this movie that what I'm saying she know how to do Monique now huh we don't want Monique playing the same role every time [ __ ] this a scary movie role though that's that's that's the confusion right there they made it seem like it was in the beginning they made it seem like it was a domestic film and that was a that was completely wrong this is a horror suspense movie Paranormal stuff should have start happening in the first 20 minutes oh my goodness but okay so I don't think it was I don't know it wasn't like your average scary movie cuz like your average scary movie stuff do be popping off like in the very beginning but the build up did take a minute it took about like yeah like 30 40 minutes to actually get there yeah like it wasn't it was not scary until the last 20 minutes when the demon revealed it like when the like when he was hit in his head in the basement it should have been way more than that like they should have showed him meeting the demon they should show it a lot more I don't like doing what to the demon meeting the demon like they gota show something me like meeting them like they not it wasn't no build up yes I don't know what type of scary movie you trying to watch I feel like it should have been White scary movie I would say I wouldn't count that as scary scary movie to me is like where they be popping out and you know like or you actually do like thej okay hor that's a horror film though that's the same this wasn't the same to me it didn't give that Vibe like that's what it's supposed to do like it just like it was a possession and then boom but it really wasn't like like a pop out scary movie like the other ones be [ __ ] and I actually kind of in had like a little religious moment for a second like I was just thinking like maybe it's not a horror movie but a coming to God movie because even though I was supposed to be scared I was like Praise Jesus like I was about to start crying when she turned her life around and gave it to gu I mean I don't know you see that that's what I'm saying I feel like it should have been it should have been just more like I I'm starting to get sick of these um overrated movies that are not up to um what looking for not up yeah that [ __ ] that [ __ ] C it should have been up to more far like it's it could have been way better like I think I need SP rid movies oh my I think it was good I was scared but maybe just because I scared end I scared kind of like the whole time the started getting good like when they started hearing the banging and stuff I started kind of getting like a little scared I feel like Paranormal Activity was way more scarier than that that's what I'm saying I don't think this movie was kind of like that like they didn't make it it didn't make it like that like that type of horror it was like a different type like sub like I don't know it just seem like I don't know I feel like like I said before paranormal thing should have start building up until the end like a whole out within the movie till you really see some Paranormal Activity like but it's supposed to be a hor suspense that wasn't [ __ ] and suspense that was more like uh domestic violence and [ __ ] where was the suspense at it was no build up so it was domestic violence and a horror film at the end it was domestic at first a whole hour and a half 30 minutes and the last 25 minutes it was was a for me personally I think they could have did better I thought it was good they could have left some of the domestic violence out that was a little crazy they could have left out like when the boys getting bullied and she went to go hit the kid like I guess that's just trying to fill in information or whatever uh the the grandma being sick with cancer and uh old dude loving basketball or the detective from Raising Canon that that little love story I don't I guess they just that in there yeah that that was like for no reason that was for no reason I feel like the mama should have played a bigger role too though and something with possession she was drunk and then what was the point of making her drunk right know it's it's giv Tyler Perry's cousin right that's exactly what it's giv he giv if Tyler Perry made a horror movie no I wouldn't say I wouldn't take you that far he made it like just a family member of Tyler Per they they got the same blood almost man if Tyler Per made a horror movie it would be just like that it would it would have had to be because it it was no build up like I'm these movies need to make sense right and then okay first first five minutes 10 minutes into the movie you say why she got a white mom exactly but the dude that directed the dude that directed it talking about everybody every black community got a Alberta I never grew up with no white lady yeah so how how could every black community got a white a white staple white figure I don't that act I didn't it wasn't no kid mixed or they just straight up black yeah they just I don't know I'm not understanding like where the storyline went with that oh yeah they just yeah they just gotta make make these movies make sense like like what happened to the old the oldfashioned scar movies that actually made sense and gave you a reason of what's going on before it happened that will have you on edge the whole movie of waiting to the end like I was an hour and 20 minutes in and I just knew like we wasn't supp to see nothing scary for real that's a problem that supposed to be a scared movie what some good old Jeeper Creepers well this was based well I guess a lot of them be based on true story but this was B don't throw that don't throw that in no not B something on the trueth story just to make it scary it was based on the truth story though okay and all the scary movies they got nowadays they say based on the truth story maybe he wanted to kind of stay close to her story maybe maybe it just wasn't that creepy enough but it was still okay and if it was based on the true story and they wanted to be suddenly not scary they should have did a biography film not making a whole movie ask for a biography film where they showing pictures and a biography this supped to be for entertainment it supp be a [ __ ] suspense movie maybe maybe them white people just be going through it a lot worse when they be getting possessed and stuff maybe white maybe white people could have did this movie better people gonna think we racist because we said that about Tyler P mov I'm just saying it just oh my goodness something gotta get with these movies well I thought in the beginning the beginning yeah we going to review power power coming out on Friday [Music] okay but look so you didn't think the beginning the opening um wasn't scary when they was showing them pictures and that girl was singing you didn't think that was kind of scary no it really ain't give off scary it was trying to it was trying to set the set the for me it it didn't have no build up on the Move though like try to set the but it wasn't [Music] like he a do nothing to build up like like on the scariness like I said it was more domestic film like the whole hour domestic her losing her children like where do this demon come in at in the last 25 30 minutes okay he went to hearing things and stuff but it wasn't like okay and okay boom just another thing okay remember when I think she was like sleeping and then um the dude that she she thought she seen the the dude the man oh man you remember what I'm talking about who thought they the the the main character the on the girl like one time she had woke up or woke up one time and she thought she seen somebody it was a man yeah my question is who the hell was he think oh I think that was the the the the dude that her mama had work or whatever I think she had woke up you talking about at the end no it was like towards like in the middle of stuff like at night time she had woke up one time and thought she heard or seen something was a dude then he left like kind of disappeared like she was dreaming or something but I think I think that was like the dude that her mom was that Ray Frost something I don't know I I don't remember that part I think I had missed a couple scenes [Music] too I movie too long too I like movie and it wasn't three hours well you said you was high so yeah but still it should the beginning definitely did feel long the beginning did feel long but towards the end kind kind of speed up I don't know man I just like they gota do better around here that was crazy when they had the kids like they had that girl bleeding they had that one kid throw poop on his teacher right and I just want to know why they had that lady say I can smell your nappy nappy why got to be NY coochie I don't know you know the demons are very EV like a lot of things was the demon racist too nasty I hate that she died cuz she really she um I thought she was G to live I thought she was going to make it happen but I guess it was better for the story that she died so that the other girl could have her coming to Jesus moment start speaking in tongu oh my goodness and then you know I like the technical things it was this one um during the little demon thing it was just one angle when the camera was like in the eye and you could like see the other you probably don't scenes and do the angles and it was this one scene at the end where it was like uh it was close up to the eyeball and you could like see stuff in the eyeball and then when they had zoomed in on her eye or something like that and then it was just like Pitch Black and she was right there yeah this went like when she finally got the like I guess the power from Jesus to stand up to the to the demon or whatever it had like zoomed in real fast on her eye and she it was like the room was dark and she was just standing there and it was like a voice over from her mom and it was like something something but you can talk to Jesus and then it had zoomed out real quick and then she just started like going in I thought that was so cool I think they should have had more description on what type of demon it was and like no we don't need all that we don't need all that no yeah that that's what get scary movies and horror movies like when they start calling them by their name oh no yeah yeah like like aaria oh stop stop stop stop real but we about to end this conversation why because I'm getting scared baby oh my bad I I I have revealed my personality don't play with me we might have to play Jesus song at the end a gospel song okay look listen we might need to watch another scary movie that's like kind of scary I want to watch a scar mov don't know I like scar movies but I just be too scared I want to watch a scar movie that actually had me like kind of scared for real not even scared it just like it had me kind of interested like oh wow that was that's that's that's that's that's fair but uh it wasn't enough it wasn't enough for me mother I could say like one of the best scared movies on modern day time might be The Conjurer yeah I like those movies well turn in this podcast babe we're gonna have I'm scared so we're G have to end it on the gospel song um let's see no it's not that serious huh said what I said hush we'll be back with power I plead I plead the blood is power in his name you can't Ste my family right right we need Jesus right now cuz that that was kind of creepy before we end it I just want to say like I can't believe that like people really go through stuff like that like when you moving and stuff cuz I moved around a couple of different places so it's like when you moving you just be so happy you don't think about stuff like that and then it's like what if you was to move into a house that had stuff going on like this I don't think I think what you believe want to say stay prayed up out there you know I think demons are real you know they control the earth when they got when Satan himself got cast it right out of the beautiful ply Gates of Heaven and so be prayed up out here you don't know what's lurking what's around but put your faith in whatever you want to put your faith in that's positive I put my faith in and God Jesus Christ I can do all things through through Christ who strengthens me yes yes yes yes yes yes watch the movie it was very it was very nice especially towards the end don't look at it as a scary movie but look at it as a powerful inspiration movie that God he takes the weak the broken the poor the rich the whatever the and he turns it into something beautiful it's nothing wrong with you that stops you from praising his name and him coming through to save you yes Lord look at it that way don't look at it as a scary movie because it's definitely kind of not that but you know take what you do it might be more of a message than scary yeah C I definitely got a message I I had teared up a little bit you teared up I did did I did it was just very powerful like I feel that's why I'm saying like I I do agree with you when you say that it it wasn't it was only scary at the end it was more like a domestic movie but I seen it as like a a black woman mixed black woman whatever the [ __ ] she was supposed to be just really stressed out tired you know she had a lot going on she trying to do the best and she had a [ __ ] up childhood and now she going through this crazy demonic weirdo stuff and that's why I feel like that's why I feel like that was a a crazy like plotline for her to be going I feel like domestic took more the domestic violence and stuff took more of the movie than what the movie was really actually supposed to be about yeah like the [ __ ] upness of it took over demon Park yeah and maybe this maybe Jesus put them in that house so that she could he could reveal himself to her when she okay in the true story did the mother die no in the real story it was two black women and it was three kids it was a black grandma a black mom and three black kids and I don't think she beat on her kids U CPS did take the kids because like of the bruises and stuff or whatever but the mom didn't die and I don't think the lady was a drunk either and I don't think she beat her kids either I didn't I didn't read nothing about that but they just threw that they threw that in for entertainment but then throw the scary stuff in for entertainment that's right yeah yep yep yep yep and then in the end she got a happy end and she was looking better she said she was going to go get back with her baby daddy like I I think it was a scary movie I think uhuh she was like they G to try to work it out and that's when everybody was smiling in the movie went black so I actually don't think it was a horror movie I think it was just like a day in the life a rare a rare occasion that you you know me to move into a demon house yeah I don't know but I give it better yeah it could have but I thought I thought it was good though I was I was kind of scared so I'mma give it a eight out of 10 what do you give it no we is not giving it no eight out of 10 well me personally I give it a eight out of 10 I give it a five well good to see Monique back on the screen she did better this time than that other [ __ ] ass movie she did what what other movies she did where her house got broken into and she had kid well no it they made it seemed like the house got broken into somebody had killed her family but she was the one that killed the family then some kids came to do a documentary and she ended up trapping them in the house oh I think I did see that and I actually think that was better than this oh you know what okay so I hope yall have a great night great day whatever it is when y'all listen to this right and we out bye I
