Welcome back, everybody. I wanna talk about the pattern that we have coming up uh through next weekend. So tomorrow, all the way through this, uh upcoming work week, high pressure is in control heat dome. You probably hear us talk about this all the time during the summer. And here's what this is, this time of the year. It's not as intense. You know, when we get really settled into these, uh during the, you know, July and August time frame, you know, we're talking triple digit stretches, right. Lots of stretches of triple digits. This is just going to be middle and upper nineties for a while. Some low nineties here there for and rain chances go down a lot. Uh So as we go through this entire week into next weekend, we are expecting above normal temps. It'll be mainly dry and a cold front might move in next weekend to bring us a chance for some scattered showers and storms. But it's not a fall cold front. It's not gonna drop temperatures down dramatically but a little bit closer to the normal, which drops to 87 degrees, uh by the end of the six day period here. So next three days, 91 to 93 Wednesday, 94 Thursday, 95 Friday, 96. That is above normal. So, again, no triple digit heat, but above normal by 5 to 10 degrees going in through the next week or more cloudy skies today. I mean, the mostly cloudy skies kept us down quite a bit. We hit 93 uh, with the potential of hitting 100 I know. Waco hit 100 degrees today. Uh DFW State at 93. Tomorrow is about the same thing. Uh We'll have less cloud cover though, so we'll have partly cloudy skies throughout the day tomorrow. That's eight o'clock in the morning. Uh, some spotty showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two south of the Dallas Fort Worth area and off to the west. That's 4 p.m. And as we get into the evening, a small chance of rain 10 to 20% coverage. The highest coverage in western portions of North Texas down to the south, the overall, most people will not see rain, 10% coverage for the metroplex and everywhere. Off to the east. Quick, look at the tropics here. We have tropical storm Gordon in the Atlantic something we'll be watching this upcoming week. Also, a 50% chance of forming off the coast of the Carolinas here. Uh, could be Helene. Ok. There's already a little spin in the air, you see it right. There's already a little tropical disturbance bringing uh, bringing some heavy rain, uh, to the coast of the Carolinas that could become tropical storm Helene over the next seven days. That's the latest on the Atlantic. We are in the peak of hurricane season and things have really kind of slowed down quite a bit. Uh, tonight, 74 warm and muggy with light winds. Tomorrow 93 an isolated shower or storm is possible the 14 day. Well, this is what I was talking about. The top of the weather, uh, weather forecast. It's, it's pretty quiet. It's highs in the nineties. There's very few rain chances. Next weekend, the there may be a front that comes in sometime Sunday and that will knock us down to 87 Monday, 85 Tuesday, 86 Wednesday. There's big t 92 for the opening day of State Fair of Texas. Howdy folks. Big Tex is gonna be sweating. It's always, the first week is always, it's always hot.
