Players Trust Player Philanthropy Spotlight: Paul Sewald

[Applause] for Paul seaal the last few years have been about as good as it gets both on the field and off of it we got to the point that we felt that we were in a position where it was necessary for us to get back to communities we're just in a position that we should be giving back with a blossoming career and a growing family sewald and his wife Molly are now working hard to help other families Molly and I have every single resource we could possibly need we have family we have the money resource we have everything and yet it's still very difficult to be a parent together we can build brighter futures for children and families in our community every season they host an online fundraiser called seaw Wald strikeouts for kids when he played in Seattle the money went directly to a nonprofit called kid Vantage that provides Essentials such as diapers and school supplies now in Phoenix the seaw wals support child crisis Arizona a facility that offers emergency shelter and other support services for atrisk children you know you just see these kids getting you know every single thing they could need between diapers and and backpacks and you know they're getting the right car seats or child crisis they're getting they're getting shelter these kids have been physically and mentally abused they just need a chance this season the seaw wals are personally donating $11,000 per strikeout fans can help as well by joining sea Walt's campaign on pledge it you know some people pledge 50 cents some people pledge a dollar some people have pledged way too much in my opinion but I'm very thankful for everything they've given and Molly and I really really appreciate every time every time we look and see how much money has been donated it's it's uh it's an incredible failing
