Germany Delivers Election SHOCKWAVE

so a huge day in terms of not just German politics but European politics uh in many ways those big state elections taking place in Germany with the afd leading in some polls this a party that some in Germany want to see outright banned uh was their support being overstated could they win the state elections well we've just seen some exit polls with some truly extraordinary uh results this evening according to this exit poll you can see here in terms of Saxony first of all for the regional Parliament election the CDU the conservatives with a very narrow lead there uh on 32% the afd just behind them in Saxony on 31.5% according to this exit poll and extraordinary there another new party on the left this party the BSW that I've spoken about in some videos on 11.5% in third position ahead of the three governing parties that you see there the SPD the greens and the fdp they're the three parties in Germany's governing Coalition the other exit pole for Saxony finding a similar result with the CDU having a narrow lead the afd just behind in second place and the BSW in third we've also seen exit polls for turingia today and you can see here the afd according to this exit poll on thir 33.5% uh up 10 points since the last election leading there with the CDU conservatives in second position and the BSW also in third in the ringia as well with the SPD the greens and the fdp absolutely nowhere really just way way behind a similar Poll for thuringia for the regional Parliament also showing the afd over 30% and winning in this Regional election with the CDU conservatives second BSW third and again the SPD greens and fdp absolutely nowhere so if that does play out if these exit polls are correct that is an absolute bombshell result in terms of German politics let me know what you make of that in the comments Below guys I will of course keep bringing you all the latest on this and much more so please do W this video a quick thumbs up and of course as ever cheers for watching
