hi guys my name is manmit k and today I'll be sharing one of my project of data analysis and will decide how the company can achieve the certain objective by just analyzing their data in the business environment understanding and optimizing sales performance is crucial for sustaining growth and profitability the uh analysis of sales data set provide us the valuable insight into the marking print through these analys is we can get to know about the various opportunity that avils in the market through which we can achieve our objectives and today the main goal the primary goal is to maximize sales by leveraging data driven insights today we will cover an in-depth analysis of our sales performance and we'll identify this key opportunity for growth and accordingly we'll propose an action to enhance our sales outcome so let me just show you the sales data set so this is the whole sales data set that we are having today in the rows we are having the sales ID date product ID product name category quantity sold unit price total sales discount payment method sales person ID sales person name region store ID location customer ID customer name discounted price and our net sales in this whole data set I've used the various AEL formula so the first that I have used is the conditional formatting in the quantity sold column and this I have used the three condition you can see there is a three different color which indicate the three different condition the green one indicate the maximum uh is quantity that we have sold and the and the yellow one the pink one indicate the least amount so in this condition we get get to know about the which is the maximum quantity and which is the lowest quantity that we have sold till now and in the discount column also I've again use the same conditioner form meting which IND in the green color green cell which is the zero which means that at the time this product the company doesn't give any of the discount and in the and the discounted price that I have calculated you can see there is a Formula here which I've calculated by uh unit price minus is the discount one I've calculated the discounted price that this is the price that we have sold to the customer and accordingly I have calculated the net sales also here is the formula which is the total sales minus the discounted price this is the net sales that we are having and the you know the main objective or today main the primary goal is to maximize the sales so in this whole we are going to analyze this whole data set so I have analyzed these six there is a total six analysis that I have done so the first analysis is the region wise sales that in which region we are having the maximum number of sales so in the East one in the east region we are having the maximum number of sale which is the 37 that we have 37 of the quantity that we have sold in the East one so the uh chances of our profit to grow is most in the East one and least in the South one then we the demand in the South one is not that good people are not purchasing more of our product but in the East one our chances of to grow is more so we are going to focus on the east region more so that our sales can increase and accordingly our profit also and the next analysis is the payment wi so we are having three different mode of payment which is the cash credit card and the PayPal PayPal is is basically an online payment app so you can say on the cash bases customer are not purchasing a good or generous amount of product so there are only nine quantity that we have sold on the cash basis but on the credit card base people are purchasing more there are total 73 you can see uh the credit card people are demanding more of your product so in this you can uh you know introduce a certain scheme which uh uh introduce which contain the different credit card scheme so that the people will purchase more because here people are more comfortable of purchasing through their credit card and not on the cash your cash sales is not that good so your main focus should be on the credit card and the next analyst is again the payment which is basically a detailed version of the previous one in this uh these are the product that this are the product the people are demanding more are the purchasing more to their cash so appliances D appliances H and appliances L these are the product that people are purchasing through the cash basis and these uh again these are the product electronic bases or the tool bases these people are purchasing more through their credit card so there are different products the people are purchasing through their cash and through their credit card or through their online payment app so accordingly you can uh invest and can plan your different strategies so how you so that you your sale will get increased and next analy is through the location so these are the location these are the location of your store that you have established so you're having in these location and you can see the the maximum number of sale is in the Denver region Denver location this is the location which is giving you the more sales so your main focus the main priority on the priority basis you have to uh consider this location more rather than the of the others because you can see in the San Francisco the demand is not that good only 100 of the net sale which is not that good the people are not demanding more of your product in the this location so this location you not need to consider much of the but your main focus should be on the this of the location which is giving you the more sales so that your profit of profit will get increased or the your sales will get main is your sales one you have to maximize your sales so in this one your sales can increase so whenever you are going to introduce any new product you can introduce in the this one because people are purchasing more of of your product so there is a high generous amount of chances that you will get a better uh sales there and the next analysis is of the uh top 10 product these are your top 10 product which are giving you the maximum number of sale which are giving you the more of the profit you're having more of the product but these are only 10 product top 10 product of your company which are contributing more which are people demanding more in the market these are the products which are having the future they are going to Reliable in the future so in this also the gadget G is the product which are having the highest uh from these top 10 this is the top one number one product is the gadget G which is giving you the more sales so this you can uh update your product this one product Gadget G you can update this or you can introduce the new product because this is the product that having the more demand in the market and our next analysis is to the sales person these are the sales person in your company which are uh giving you the sales so the sales person is the Bob the Bob is the one who are giving you the more of the sale which are giving you a maximum number of sales and the least one is the deit which uh does not give that much of the sales to the company but Bob is the one which is giving you more of the sales so accordingly you can uh introduce your in incentives that's whoever give us the more amount of sales the higher the incentive higher the sales so to this people will get motivated they will contribute more to the sales more to your company so your sales will get increased through this if you're you know Contra uh focusing these only so these are the analysis of this whole data set sales data set these are the various analysis that I have done till now and you know of the outcome of this whole analysis is going to your Revenue obviously your Revenue will get increased because accordingly if your sales if your sales will going to increase your Revenue obviously is going to increase also and if your Revenue will get increased your profit profit margin Will C to get increased if your profit increase obviously your the share in the market or the Goodwill in the market is going to Value it also and through this analysis you know where you have to expand your Market which is the market sector are having more number of chances which are going to give you the more profit more sales you can see in this location the location analysis that I have done is the you can expend your Market in the Denver location they having more and in the region one also you can see the in the East one you can expend your Market more if you are going to expand you can expand your Market in the east region because that are having a good number of uh demand in the market so to conclude this whole data through this whole analysis I'm just going to say that the this whole analysis of data has given us the various opportunity or give tell us about of the more of the uh Insight where we have to expand where we not have to extend what are your priority bases and which is not that important to consider till now so this is the whole analysis from my side of the objective which is the sales maximization you can increase your sales to the credit card or through the East area there is a more sales so you need to focus on that area only so your sale will get increased accordingly so yeah that's it from my side thank
