Two Ways To Watch Live TV For Free.

hey guys this is Josh f151 Tech back with another video and in this video I actually wanted to do somewhat of an updated video with the NFL uh season uh right around the corner it's actually supposed to be starting today um so I figured that I would make a uh updated video on two ways that you can actually get uh live TV for free and uh actually the first way is actually uh using an outdoor TV antenna or an indoor TV antenna um you know or vice versa indoor TV antenna or outdoor TV antenna um it depends on you know your area it's very area specific you know what you would actually need um for our case I'm not going to go too much into detail but for our case uh we actually have to have an outdoor TV antenna because I've tried indoor TV antennas and we just don't get a good enough reception uh in our house because it's over a 100 year old house um so we have you know like really thick walls and stuff so we had to go with an outdoor TV antenna uh to be able to get all the local channels like NBC you know uh channel 3 you know uh CBS you know Channel 12 uh PBS and stuff like that you know uh Fox 29 you know channel 29 um and so on and so on so uh for getting the best reception you know it's it's definitely best to get an outdoor TV antenna in my opinion um you know but if you can get ARR with you know getting an indoor TV an antenna you know like I said it's very area specific um then you know you could do that but um for us for our sake you know we had to actually get an outdoor TV antenna uh because like I said you know our house is over 100 years old and the building materials um kind of you know mess with the signal and everything you know kind of make the signal go in and out um and stuff like that and some of the channels we weren't actually able to get like uh 6abc uh which actually uh is broadcasted on a lower uh VHF or something that I've heard you know I forget what they call them but um it's on a lower you know a lower frequency is basically what I'm saying so um with the outdoor TV antenna we can get like 80 to 87 channels um so that's definitely not bad at all um and we get you know all the local channels you know for NFL you know so that's definitely a good thing um and this is actually the one we have right here it's actually called the pro model um it says UHF VHF TV antenna uh 70 plus mile range um and then you know you can read the reviews and stuff I'll leave the link Down Below in the description uh to the Channel Master website um but like I like I said you know I'm not uh you know saying that you should run out and buy this antenna you know definitely do your research uh you know before you buy an antenna because it's going to you know it's going to be very uh you know area specific you know to what antenna uh you should actually get and I actually came on here um and I actually email Channel Master and they did like a uh like a scan of my you know area and everything um and I also went on YouTube and I asked the antenna man um I'll leave the link Down Below in the description to his uh YouTube channel as well um he's called the antenna man on YouTube and I uh I you know have talked about him in my previous video you know when I made a video about this how to get you know live TV for free but um definitely you know watch his YouTube channel he has a lot of you know reviews on antennas and stuff um and he said the Channel Master is one of the ones that he highly recommends um so I'm going to you know definitely leave the link Down Below in the description because that's what I use um but there are other ones out there you know there's like ones that are called clear stream um and stuff like that you know there's other you know antenna make you know makers out there other than uh Channel Master uh but if I go up here I can go to the antennas section here and I can go to outdoor TV antennas um and as you can see you know they have tons of you know outdoor TV antennas uh you know from Big to small to medium you know depending on uh you know what you actually need and then they have uh indoor ones as well as you can see right here they don't have as many as the outdoor ones but they do have uh you know two uh indoor TV antennas which I've actually heard are pretty good um I've actually heard really good reviews about this one right here the flat tenna 35 um that's only $25 and it says uh you know it's got over 1,000 reviews and then they have a flat tenna plus um and then that's got 254 reviews with five stars so that's definitely not too bad um and you know you can see here that they've been uh making quality products since 1949 so um you know and this this antenna that I have right here this is a really uh you know well well-built antenna as you can see there you know it's made out of metal um and it's very very wellb built very sturdy um it's just a very wellmade antenna but like I said uh you know it is you know very area specific like it is with the cellular home internet uh that I also talk about and reviewing and stuff on my channel so um you know I'm not going to you know tell you guys to get this antenna or anything you know so definitely come on here you know email them um and you know go from there you know and you can also uh you know do my recommendation with the antenna man you know you can get in contact with him as well um or you can watch some videos you know to determine what uh you know antenna is best for you you know or what brand or you know whatever uh you know would be best for you you know so like I said I'm not I'm not going to you know tell you guys to run out and buy the pro model you know that I have um you know like I said it's very area specific so you want to make sure that you're going to be able to get uh you know as many channels as you possibly can um like I said in my other videos you know I get like 80 to 87 channels um and all the you know all the local channels you know that I'll need for the nflc and um and you know whatever you know whatever else I want to watch you know news um you know or whatever you know they have on you know when the NFL season is not uh you know in progress you know sometimes they have other sports you know on live TV uh you know with antenna TV as well you know like NHL uh you know NBA you know stuff like that you know so you definitely want to make sure uh that you can get you know all the local channels you know that way you never miss an NFL game um or anything like that you know so that's definitely uh something you want to do you know you definitely want to make sure you can get all the local channels so um so that's that so let me actually move over here to the second page over here that I have um and the second thing I actually want to talk about is Cody um and this is like a a movie theater kind of thing like a um basically like a uh let me actually see here it says right here um the ENT entertainment center you know it says Cody is the ultimate ENT entertainment center um and you can you know basically add you know whatever you want to add on you know add-ons and stuff um they have you know tons of third- party add-ons um and I I'll actually leave a link down below uh in the description to Cody um and I'll actually go to the download page over here um as you can come down here and as you can see it says downloading Cody um it says join Millions already enjoying Cody um and then it's if you come down here it says select your platform um it says Windows Linux Android raspberry par y Mac OS iOS TV OS uh web OS so they they they basically have an app you know for everything you know basically everything and I actually have it on my phone uh right there as you can see you know and I have my HD home run there um that I actually have set up for my TV antenna so I can watch it uh you know I can basically watch my my TV antenna um with with my phone you know on my phone or on my Google chomecast or Google TV um or anything like that you know anything that actually support it um so uh that's another thing that I actually wanted to talk about in this video I would actually recommend uh getting an HD home run or something like that you know so you can actually watch your antenna uh you know on your phone or on your tablet um or on your computer you know basically anywhere um you know other than you know just watching it you know on your TV you know you can basically watch it um you know anywhere your your TV antenna you know basically anywhere on your phone like I said your tablet um you know your computer you know basically anything that supports the HD home run app um you know now the HD home runs are pretty expensive um but they're definitely worth it because you're getting uh you know you're basically able to watch you know live TV um you know basically anywhere so that's definitely not bad at all I'll also leave a link Down Below in the description uh to the HD antenna um and then you know Cody with live TV add-ons you know you can watch um you know basically anything with Cody with the right uh live TV add-ons now I'm not I'm I'm not going to you know basically I'm not going to really leave any uh links you know telling you guys that you should do this um you know but I'm saying you know for those of you um that actually want to watch free TV you know you don't have to pay for TV um i' I talked about this in my other video before and I'm not actually saying that you guys have to do this um but what I'm saying is you know this is what I do you know so I just wanted to let you guys know um that we don't actually pay for live TV I I haven't paid for live TV in years now um and I don't actually plan on it because like uh platforms like YouTube TV and Hulu live TV um and stuff like that you know they're just getting more and more expensive you know they're starting to get up there uh with Comcast and xinity prices you know and me and my mom did away with those uh you know a few years ago you know Xfinity you know TV and stuff like that Xfinity Internet um you know stuff like that now we have the T-Mobile 5G home internet um and you know we don't really want to uh pay for TV because my mom doesn't really watch much TV um other than the news sometimes and the mummer parade and stuff like that um you know she doesn't really watch much TV so um for me and all I watch really is sports so the the Cody with live TV uh you know has me c covered you know like I said it's not really legal uh you know to use Cody with live TV you know with a third party add-ons you know it's not really legal I'm not really um you know saying that you should you guys should do it um you know but I'm basically saying you know this is what we do you know this is what I do um you know to be able to watch you know live TV you know for free with the TV antenna um and then also with the Cody with the live TV add-on so I will actually leave the TV antenna the Channel Master uh website down below in the description and I'm also going to leave um I'm also going to leave the Cody uh app down below in the description well actually just leave the whole Cody website down below in the description um and then I'll also leave the uh some of the add-ons um like the uh websites that they actually have for some of the Cody live TV add-ons um I'll leave some of those down below in the description as well um and like I said you know it's not really legal um but I'm not actually hosting the content so I can't really get in trouble for it you know I'm just telling you guys this is what I do um you know I don't pay for TV so I just wanted to let you guys know um but you know the best the best way to be able to get you know live TV is with the you know TV antenna but they also uh with the live TV with the TV antenna you know they also broadcast what they're going to broadcast um with Cody with the live TV add-ons you actually get more uh you know depending on what add-on you you know you add uh you actually get like for example um if I wanted to to watch an MLB game you know a baseball game um I can watch any of the baseball games you know it doesn't have to be any area uh you know it can be you know basically any area you know I can watch any of the baseball games like say for example um you know I wanted to watch the Phillies game you know I can watch that um say for example I wanted to watch uh you know the uh the Atlanta Braves game you know obviously I'm not on Atlanta Braves fan but um I could watch that you know I can watch that I can watch um you know any any any NHL game um I can watch any you know NBA game I can watch any NFL game um you know but obviously you know for NFL you know the best would be a TV antenna because you know unless you have um like an area you know where it's actually raining you know a spot or a day you know when it's actually bad weather you know that's about the only time um you know that I would actually use Cody for watching NFL games or um if it's actually blacklisted you know I can use Cody with the live TV ad ones uh to be able to you know watch NFL games that are actually you know Blacklist or or uh you know in a in a blackout you know basically so um but anyway I I definitely will leave the link Down Below in the description to the Channel Master website like I said um and also leave the link Down Below in the description to the Cody website um and you know also some Cody with live TV add-ons um you know but like I said you know I'm not really um you know telling you guys to do this you know it's up to you um you know but like I said you know this is basically what I do you know this is what I've been doing for years um and I haven't had any problems or anything and I haven't actually been using a VPN um or anything with Cody with live TV add-ons and I haven't had any problem um you know because like I said I'm not uh actually the one hosting the content you know so I can't really get in trouble for just using it so um but anyway yeah guys like I said that's just the video you know I just wanted to get a quick video out um and touch base on
