benefiting from this program called indisputable we just need 1% of the viewers to become a paid member so we can continue to bring this content to you now back to the show put up the picture for mask cop has been identified Danny Torres 27-year veteran should know better right 27e veteran of the Miami Dade Police Department has been identified as the cop who was placed on administrative duties in connection with the detainment temporary detainment of Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill on Sunday ahead of their season opener at Hard Rock stadium Danny Torres was named by the mdpd which said that he quote remains in administrative duties according to a statement provided to CBS Miami Miami Dolphins receiving Tyreek Hill confirmed he wants one of the officers who detained him on Sunday to lose his job for the way he treated him so during a press conference on Wednesday heill stated that the officer responsible for those aggressive actions should be fired quote he got to go man he said because in that instance right there like not only did he treat me bad you know what I'm saying he also treated my teammates with disrespect he had some crazy words towards them and they ain't even doing nothing like what did they do to you they're just walking on the sidewalk so I don't know bro he gotta go uh and there are not too many times that cheetah say people gotta go but you gone end quote love it ESPN miam do reporter uh revealed that the legal team represented miam day police officer Danny Torres reached out to he to apologize the star receiver did not accept it get that damn apology out of here man as you would say officer it's not about what you want right Franchesca one of the things that ter K said in an interview he said if he wasn't a an NFL player that this could have been a lot worse for him now we already see the difference because I promise you if he had not been Tek Hill he doesn't get an apology from a cop okay right right the cop's attorney doesn't say hey just reach out to him just say hey I'm sorry right that doesn't happen uh but I'm glad it did happen because now you can use it in the civil case evidence of a guilty conscience it it is now admissible material all right so way to go attorney in effective counsel all right franches thought here well I mean this is why we love you doc cu can point these uh glaring uh things out and we know what you would do in a court of law and how you would advise as Council um it's just wild to me you know and he gets arrested he gets brutalized like that in front of traffic you know you see people driving by they probably recognize him um but he's again a black man in America and more specifically in Florida you know there are Travel warnings in Florida that if you are specifically if you're lgbtq plus but I believe even African American that that like Florida might not be the place you want to go to as like a fun little visit because precisely of the you know stop woke Act and the don't say gay bills and all of the ways they try to criminalize people's identities simply for living their lives um and there you have it right there and it I don't think he's going to be fired which is wild to me but I do hope you know I'm I hope this can be like a moment that that Tyreek can speak out about broader police brutality and I think he is saying that yeah if I were just a regular guy who wasn't a football player I might have been killed I might have been brutalized I might have had my knee reinjured um so it's just terrifying and it's terrifying and also let's just never lose sight of how deliberately degrading it is to Black Americans to arrest them to pull them from their car in front of traffic doesn't matter who they are if they're famous or whatnot um you know uh it's we we saw juvenile I mean this was different right we saw another celebrity we saw juvenile get pulled out of First Class by American Airlines right you know and it's just like doesn't matter how much status how much celebrity you have right like the the systems sad to be so blanket like that still see you just as someone they could treat as a second class Citizen and they can sort of shove around and brutalize and it's just the the amount of in indignity uh is just something that honestly I think most white people and non-black people in this country just simply can't get their minds and would never actually understand yeah and that's the thing because no one can really imagine a police officer doing that to a white female just because the white female posed a question uh nobody could imagine um a flight attendant walking up to a white female and kicking her out of first class that she's paid for right nobody can imagine that but it happens to black males in particular black people in general
