well sadly for those who are exposed to the elements i'm afraid that the clouds have opened up and it is teaming down here there are some fans who are going to get very very wet having said which there are almost no empty seats it is a terrific turnout under the circumstances there's nowhere else to go in truth if you want to see this much anticipated game so come rain or come shine we are here and really looking forward to it one glance and you know where we are it is one of the most recognizable arenas for the beautiful game in the world and boy does it add to the occasion there are plenty looking forward to seeing this a capacity crowd here well under normal circumstances this is a massive match up and i'm not totally in agreement with the view that friendlies tend to take the edge away in my experience if the opposition go at it full tilt then you have to reciprocate we'd like to see excitement and be entertained but if it does go down the serious route there'll still be lots to enjoy you're just joining us we are already on the way [Applause] flings in across the defense can get it clear nice to locate someone up front yeah that's top defending in preventing him turning which can open up many possibilities great strength too strong for his opponent well neither team has yet managed to impose any authority and uh as a consequence this game's just drifted out wide but he won't reach that one [Applause] louis suarez and uruguay take the lead oh that always looks like the outcome suarez is the obvious danger man here and yet he was afraid of way too much freedom i think he was gifted that goal his reputation should have been warning enough for them uruguay take the lead one nil he's just gone and reminded us yet again of what a threat he carries well that's where he wants it [Applause] and it's the goalkeepers to claim [Applause] hoist it forward that's loose that's a hit done very well to get to that the keeper really dug out his defense then a magnificent effort [Applause] good effort very good effort he would have at least wanted to make the keeper work though played out to the right and that's been leave it clear good run ultimately thwarted by an astute piece of defending crowd appreciates good football all round there looks to clip it forward and the referee brings the first half to a close [Music] [Applause] well they show glimpses of some wonderful football to groom with the lead at half time and that's definitely pleased the fans i think they'll be looking to keep this intensity up now in the second half uruguay they're in at half time with a slender one goal shakes [Applause] and this is getting better and better looking back at that that's how you play on the counter quick and decisive grooves with the finish i thought it was a stunning stunning regular things starting to look very comfortable well that second goal has given them so much more command and confidence now and they should be able to take it on from here and either add to their lead or or close it out surely they'll manage one or the other and here's cavani out to the right [Applause] and the lead is extended still further that's no fluke it's what he was there for but for me that's just pure predatory brilliance it's not so much the finish but the way he read the situation when nobody else was even alert to it it's fantastic uruguay take a three-goal lead and they are romping out of sight well unsurprisingly peter the opposition looked completely stunned i'm not sure they can gather themselves the assistant referee has his flag raised for offside keeper sends it forward well played he saw that coming cavani luis suarez [Applause] they are in complete well charge two have a lovely understanding and they executed the 1-2 effectively to set up the goal [Applause] things looking so easy almost too easy here has he found his man [Applause] good challenge he just stood firm luis suarez is a clever pass the contest no more it is nothing short of utter humiliation well i wasn't expecting them to go this big peter but they have been superb it's become a case of men against boys well they're very much the better team at the moment peter and no doubt will be looking to to cause even more damage [Applause] i here that's offside yes it is [Applause] luis suarez now a chance to break gomez gets it back and back to base played in with accuracy and that'll go straight through to the keeper and that's it uruguay very much the dominant side almost the only side every time they've got on the ball they it look like landslide reflections
