[Music] welcome everyone to the watch list your virtual weekly TV Guide right here in the Latin Nur Network ready to go over all the shows documentaries films released on streaming over the past week give you best recommendations or non recommendations as the case may be and as always letting you know what's dropping next week so you two can create your very own watch list joining us is always this is seor haime AKA chewy has his Commander's head on maybe for the last time this season depending on today's result as the first official weekend of the NFL is upon erors begin it's a wait and see situation but we are undefeated so that's a positive we'll start off positive not points I'm good you know what the hell we ready to go for 25 but being said little audio ISS sorry um yeah so let's get into it man this some stuff to talk about before the game start you guys can see some of these shows during the week when there's no football Tuesday through I guess Tuesday and Wednesday it's football almost every day uh especially you can't college but that said try let's start want to start with documentaries first Apollo 13 Survival on Netflix docu film it's of course doc you know chronicling the the events of of course the infamous Apollo disas disaster I guess potential disaster we they made a movie Tom Hanks at Harris and all that s chew we y o n on the watch list for Apollo unfortunately dude an N this is so dry it's like I I be watching the movie this is you know where's Gary sise I mean come on no seriously I mean like I want to like it want to but I just it was just so dry I was like 20 minutes I I'm out I couldn't I couldn't stomach anymore yeah I lasted 10 uh I I don't think last Town it just heard you know when when they coined Houston we got a problem phras early on I was like oh yeah that's right um yeah we have a problem it's just because I think it's told through just a lot of video footage and audio footage yeah and they piece it together and that just doesn't quite hold the attention I'm like okay I know where this is going and it's just I'm not interested so I was out so yeah definitely out the watch watch list uh shows this one here on FX Hulu dropping two episodes about 20 some minutes a pop short short easy watch that's the English teacher uh comedy I for his name but he is part Colombian so what up little uh you know little Spanish like say it again he's like he's Latino I didn't think he was and then I mentioned the show and I'm like they make a j they make a joke they make a joke are we really are we doing this already and then I looked him up and no he is he is actually Latino he's actually Colombian so hey made me more excited about the show this one here obviously he's a main character as English teacher of course and he's kind of navigating the Seas of uh this new era you know where we are now a lot of wokeness and political correctness and those who are one side of the other and the kids of course and he's trying to you know he getting accused of doing something because he's gay and he kissed his his partner in front of a student and all this stuff and y y y um chewy what you think about this one um okay it's it's it's it's a comedy right so uh it's got to hit it's got to be fun it has it moments and it has its humor uh second probably better with the whole drag queen that was fun yeah drag queen show that was like God was I was rolling um so let's see how it progresses but so far so good yeah I'm enjoying it's funny like I said I all I has to be just funny and you know like where it's going and and is not is not afraid to tackle these uh you know situations headon right bringing light so some D some so I enjoy that it was funny I guess it's light 20 minutes so I'm dropping two episodes a week or just two because no no no just just the opening the p in the first episode or second episode yeah it's only one episode a week one okay one episode but it was enjoyable it was actually kind of funny I liked it you know I like the teacher his best friend or whatever the gym teacher is hilarious I thought um oh yeah yeah he completely I mean he means well he's crash but obviously he helped him at the end help at the yeah and that was a cool scene with the with the drag queen show that was pretty funny it's the whole idea with his his buddy stealing stuff um so it was good I enjoyed I think the shot can probably get better as it goes I'm thinking um next one here we saw this one of course is always on the watch list it should always be on the watch list slow horses season I don't know four five I lost track I think it's four I don't know what do you think CH a four or five whatever said they drop Six episodes doesn't matter because it's so short it doesn't even feel like a right usually six episodes a season and and they drop almost like once a year they don't wait two or three years like we see these days on the show so it's just constantly coming out of course Gary Omen he is part of this kind of reject spy team and all that um I mean this is it's it's good I I drop one episode but it's it's of course it's always good it's always a cool mystery I love the characters G Omen is he's gold man get it get it um but he's great so yeah it's always on the watch list Che I don't think there's any disagreement there no no no like I said we enjoy every season it's it's it's very unique to bring something new to the spy Thriller genre right where it's not just tradition good guys versus bad guys obviously because this team is is I don't want say reject because they're still part of the agency they wouldn't be they' be fired right they would have a job that's that's the reject good potential um they just made mistakes for one reason so they're being punished by and being kind of almost like a demotion without being demoted you know right no opportunity to get out of a to out of a jail card um but no it's it's a good show man it's a fun one Apple's most consistent shows for sure that you leading that we have four or five seasons or whatever it is maybe it's four hell I know uh but again if dropping one a proba I would assume six episodes this year as this has been the case uh next one here on Netflix a limited series speaking of six episodes and that's uh the perfect couble starring uh Nicole Kidman we got li schrider who of course is known as his turn of being wrongly accused of murdering Cy prescot's mom on Scream I'm glad he was exonerated those charges and he moved on to bigger and better things um Sabertooth or whatever he Sabertooth well he saber-tooth light even the voice of My Little Pony so but whatever I didn't think I wanted to know that and I'm not sure why you would know that but fair enough we move on uh this one here because because when they came out the movie you know on a sidebar uh okay you want to go Comicon but they had My Little Pony Movie pan on I took her and Le was on was on stage voice of one of the horses ponies whatever I tell if he say so uh one here we have about this was based I guess my book I am no BR you know we have you know sh and Kim are married couple of course M Kim's a writer very woff and they're living in Nantucket of course first made famous but the hacker Brothers way back in the day talk about that's a deep right there you guys don't know what I'm talking about uh so son's getting married and on the eve of the son's wedding they find a bridesmaid's been murdered found in the beach so now it becomes a who done it right and so chewy I mean I've seen four out of the six so far um and should we care about these kind of douchy unlikable white RAC people it's just watching it's it's entertaining I think that I mean maybe the only likable character really is is the son who's getting married because he's very he's very that's fair I guess I mean he comes up as real right he's very shy very introverted uh you know doesn't come up as a douchebag entitled right as as some of the other family members um so you care about him right because you don't want to see him you know you know you want to see something good happened to him right I mean [ __ ] this happened on his Wednesday obv happen to him but directly but still sure but it's still interesting interesting as far as okay it doesn't add anything new to the genre but again it presents it in an interesting way and you want to be entertained you have people you can definitely dislike right uh the older brother for sure talk about that a entitled douche yes by far the father I mean habitual cheater but still you know not not overly AR against um have some sort of arrangement with him and Nicole Kidman character probably maybe um but you know heavy on the tropes with the red herrings right which I really can't stamp up whatever man that's just part of part of the part of the the genre of the business you got to set up the next episode right you know they Lead You is it the best man oh no no it's got to be the wife oh no it's got course but but that's what but that's what the show should do right it needs to otherwise what's the point point right we're not going to gain interest that's what these show should be about um no yeah it does in an interesting way right we get series of flashbacks flash forwards uh tell the story what's going on what happened and ultimately until you figure out who it is you kind of or they tell you what happened so no yeah I I said I enjoyed this morning I thought it was going to be honest with you um solid entertaining you know it's it's okay I'm interested in who despite the fact you don't really like many of the characters here the cop she's cool the attack that they bring in to investigate um she's cool two investigators right the local sheriff the sheriff yeah okay um don't which which obious could to see him eating because he just got killed off one of our other that's true that's true I forgot about I didn't think about that uh and there's the point that didn't show uh you know Piper's field or you know how the S Piper Airlines been doing all these years but that said uh another deep cut um no it was good good solid show if you like this who done it kind of shows it does it well enough right and it's only six episodes which is good cuz that to me it's like I thought it my I thought it was 10 in my head I didn't know it was six until I you know like so how many have left I like six and I said oh that's really good cuz this could really drag on right there's only so many red herrings we could take right uh so I'm glad it's ending at six okay that makes sense it's going to wrap up pretty good uh the last one on peacock here dropping three episodes of fight night this one here a great cast you know Kevin Hart playing the chicken man huh I thought I dropped all the epod did it no he dropped three oh yeah only had only dropped three no no cuz I I checked CU I see I saw a three and I was like oh there's no more um yeah Samuel Jackson of course Don Cheeto bunch of people in here this one here tell yeah this a true story more or less set to the backdrop in 1970 of Muhammad Ali's comeback fight after his threee suspension for not um volunteering to go in the draft Yeah in Atlanta chicken man's kind of a hustler he's trying to you know move up in that world and trying to get together with Samuel Jackson who's like the head of the you know the crime family in in New York and brings in people from New York and all that and Chicago and Etc to this little party St little Suare to kind of get his in and talk to get his ear and Etc unfortunately a couple people decide to rob the party and that's really the premise of the show it's kind of a heist uh this one here I didn't know what to expect um there one thing is made clear as it's made clear in every movie there one person you don't mess with and that's Samy Jackson cuz he's the one bad [ __ ] let's just be honest right and that hasn't changed he's like 90 years old he's still the man uh but no I'm actually really liking this the show man I was really good it's really good and by the time I third episode it's I thought it really takes off when I actually get into the heist and what's going on it's like oh man this is actually pretty good I'm I'm enjoying it I'm looking forward to one of you know peacock's doesn't say a whole lot the best shows released out in recent memory really enjoying besides belir right which just it was just finished this past weekend as well yeah I think one more to finish that but um yeah it's really I'm enjoying it you know and it's not you you think him heart comedies it's not there some funny moments here and there but it's really a drama kind of it's you know it's a heist film essentially it's a heist film a different kind of heist film without Heist I heard out like these guys were getting together do some heising with the heist is actually against the crime family that's the last people you want to do a heist on U but yeah I'm really enjoying it really good chewy no yeah slow to start and so I thought I saw all drop so now makes sense why they drop three um and um because it was a very slow buildup to the first definitely the first episode second episode you start getting more but the third episode really really action all starts to happen yeah um one nitpicky thing the Muhammad Ali portrayal I just find I was gonna say that that that he was very very annoying I thought was it just me or was just the we've seen him portrayed probably a thousand times a thousand times people in a better way and this was just it was just so hammy no yeah I had a mind to bring up but he was not good he was the worst part of the show really but again he's not the focus of the show for the most part um he's got kind of more of a distraction till things kind of now the now the doneto character is like okay yeah all this is happen well I mean him him being there with his fight that's what that's what leads to and want all the exil stuff to come together and because without that fight I mean there's you know there's no reason for them to come to lant right of course yeah big thing of course that was you know I think they were still segregated then I don't know it was right in the beginning of that of that era in terms of particularly Georgia was one of the the last states that did it um yeah and Don Cheetos you know was being a few black detectives and the obstacles he's got to go through uh jumping through hoops U but it really good really well made I'm enjoying it man look this is probably my favorite show of the week for sure um slow horse is not withstanding of course new show new show of the week how about that there we go a better phrase uh but yeah definitely check it out if you have peacock and you some people probably added it because of football and I get it they gave us two we got three week three wa three games this week on peacock right Sunday yeah we got a big G Sunday yeah got Thursday Friday and Sunday so you should get peacock nothing else just for that I for whatever right so yeah definitely check this one out again on peacock dropping three episodes and I will assume I assume once a week or maybe they do the valir thing do two or three a week I don't know yeah we'll find out yeah we'll find out later uh so that's it for the week and next week we're quick very light weeks this is a great time to catch up in shows and you know focus on your fantasy teams so we got uh technno boy a film on um which I take off my list once I saw this fil I might give like 20 minutes I mean there's nothing else to watch this is a very light week well that's sure but I mean right I may give it I think this is something because it's ComEd probably better for as the movie like no I agree it's probably one I'm not gonna lie so good luck yeah I gu I'm I got 20 minute grace P this morning uh we got the old man very excited about the return the old man on that facts great first season uh um dropping two episodes this week it's been a while we need better we need a something to get us back into yeah kind of a spy Thriller involving you know Jeff Bridges yeah um yeah who's a retired CIA or what op some operative from Black Op operative and he gets you know thrown back in a mix with his daughter who's also involved in an organization uh very good John Leo in this as well and then we got uh you know Disney uh Star Wars rebuild the Galaxy kind of Lego Star Wars um oh yeah it should be good uh the hands of should be funny all those Lego the Legos are pretty good onong just they are are they're not the strings of the Marette controls Lucas film hopefully so that makes it why why it's probably good so only three light week so not a lot going on so focus on football this week a lot of cool shows to watch that being said you're new to the channel subscribe below check us out every Sunday let you know what's good what's coming out there's always
