First, we have a chance for showers and storms for your Friday evening, Chief meteorologist Betsy Kling here. Now with uh how the evening is shaping up for a lot of activities, sports outside Betsy. Yeah, we know a lot of folks are getting ready to head out. So we're gonna keep you updated on what this radar is doing and we do have scattered showers and a few thunderstorms that have popped up. The only severe weather is over in Pennsylvania right now, but we definitely do have some heavy downpours coming down. We are going to be getting an inundating rainfall right along the Lake shore in Lake County here and not too long of a time, you could see that heavy shower is basically running parallel. So it basically be uh Paynesville Fair, Fairport Harbor area that has the best potential to have that round of rain. Meanwhile, we have a steady rain that is coming down on the west side of Cleveland out through Lakewood, Rocky River Bay village, West Lake to the west in the Avon Avon Lake Sheffield, Sheffield village and then eventually the rain and Elyria at this point, this is just rain not even a lot of lightning and thunder in it. We have a little bit more punch in the shower and thunderstorm uh that is going to continue to move off to the northeast in Wayne County and then also in Stark County, you can see this one is kind of splitting. So we're keeping our eye on two different parts of this. Uh The southern part looks to have a good core with it and that will continue to move out toward whoop Sandy Township uh in areas of Northern Carroll County. And then we also have this batch of rain that is moving right up into uh areas around Clinton Township over into Summit County and then also eventually up into the Wadsworth Norton and Barberton areas. Also some rain that is sitting right now in Trumbull County. So these scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain with us this evening. We are not anticipating a widespread severe weather event. The big thing, you just gotta have a place to go if you are getting ready to head out to the football game. So definitely know where your car is. And if you start to see lightning, it's time to head for shelter. Ok. Yeah, and we'll check back in with you, uh, with more. Of course. Thanks Betsy. Thanks bets.
