What did you remember about the trade what do you remember about the trade itself EV you know when they they th they trade me I was going with my wife my wife as to a concert uh they call me uh you might you might got TR to se uh to to the Mets and we will call you back if something going off so I went to the to the concert with my wife and after the concert they called me back said you going to to the Mets you got to go I fly to to S Lucy to do your physic and everything and that's how I knew it what What was your emotions at the time r your emotions at the time when you were told you were potentially getting traded no it was something new I did I was I heard a lot of rumors about me always when I was in the man I did realize I was something I thought they would do it because you know Robie canot call me too you he said oh we might get straight to to the Mets it was in I think in a wedding too and I said to him if whatever you go if I go with you I will be fine so I got lucky I got straight with him to New York your last season What was your 2018 season like year 2018 one of the best ever by a closer 57 saves still the team record uh what what was that like for you what was that season that that Journey like for you was great you know sign day one I my my goal was have a great season and I remember when uh Scott came to me I was I got like one or two save he told me if you got more than 50 say I was getting a h with some line that year and he told me if you if you got more than 50 say I we do the same HAC as you I said deal I don't have anything to lose as soon I get the 50 I give him the ball I I remember we was in Arizona and then we fly to San Diego and I bring the barber and we did it there s San If he would come back to Seattle Diego think you convince Mendoza to do that if he came to if he come to Min because now it's I'm is some over and we can make some bed and if if he L we make him pay for Mariners fans who maybe haven't His time with the Mets followed you super closely the past six seasons how would you summarize your time with the Mets you know my my time with the man didn't start the way the way I want to you know I came I came in the trail and I didn't perform the way I want to but you know after that year I went home and realized I got to work harder and after that season everything went went fine to me you know i' been i' been able to to perform the way I want to New York and they can see like they can if they go see numbers and everything they can see like I've been able to do my work it's been good I see a couple old friends here already and it's been fun I bring my family with me because it been like six years I think after the trade I haven't been here so feel good to be back who which friends do you say I to already I said U to the B cou you know if one of the guys who's taking me here when I came here you know couple coaches was here with me when I was playing here not a lot of players left though right I don't I don't think so I don't remember I don't remember I don't think so U what's it like for you to you know Memories in Seattle be back and and be in the ballpark and kind of some memories that you have uh you establish yourself as you know such a good closer here in Seattle yeah I got really good memories here you know I remember I made my debut here and pitch my last game here too in Seattle so I think that's the biggest memory I have you know when I came out in 2016 my first game was here in safco and my last game in 2018 was here in safco too so I think that was my biggest memory Eddie Coaching staff how much did their coaching staff and Player Development staff help you grow into the pitcher that you become today you know they help me a lot you know uh soon I they put me uh Rel minorly you know they they talk me I told me you're going straight to the big Le if you can come from the bullpen and do your job and they they they put me in the as a reliever I did my job and they did it they you know they they bring me up quick
