Indian astronaut sonita Williams is currently on the International Space Station her mission is scheduled to end on June 5th the mission involves Boeing Starliner spacecraft which is currently in space Sunita Williams has been on the space station for about a month but it is unclear how much longer she will stay and when she will return to Earth according to NASA there are technical issues with the spacecraft including a helium gas leak if the Starliner returns to earth under these conditions there is a significant risk of a fire currently sonita Williams and another astronaut are still at the space station her spacecraft disintegrated upon re-entry into Earth's atmosphere several years ago right now NASA has not provided a clear timeline for how many more days Sunita Williams will remain in space we are waiting for further updates on when she will return to Earth
