[Music] Jake two and0 man I know yeah you know had some mistakes or whatever how do it feel to come out of picture a victory is a victory and I'm so proud of the guys man at the end of the day I'm so proud of this team um the defense I think all three phases we just really well um uh but the defense really came through um our offensive line we're getting pushed up front and running the ball really well our backs um capitalized on that and our our receivers made plays as well so um I mean I'm really happy and proud of this team and it feels great to be T up you know what did you see on some of the the interceptions I know a variety of things and they're tough defense but what did you see on some of those yeah I mean it's tough man uh um there's times where I just got to throw the ball away and that comes uh I mean there has to be some accountability to this right and um and I'm taking full accountability for it and at the end of the day it's all on me right and I'm the one that has the ball in my hand so um if it's not there be mature enough to throw that ball away right check down throw it away um lift the play another down and just handle it like that so Ian I just had to do a better job of that and um but my defense did a great job picking me up um and and so did the rest of the offense as well um coming out and uh just trying to pick me up on the sideline and making sure that I'm in a good head space and just say just even about the next play right so is it just like a mix of just kind of you know trusting yourself and also just kind of also learning with the guys at the same time you think or I think yeah um um but also I mean a lot of it is like there was times where uh where I mean it's not there and like I had the one with uh with Raj right where I was throwing the ball to the back right there on a little screen and um we got Blitz to it right and I mean at that point I took my eyes to the right side came back to the left side um and I wanted to ground it right um uh just at the running back's feet uh cuz I saw the pressure but I mean at that point if he's right there hey just take care of the ball just drop to the ground take a sack right um don't take an extra hit um but I mean you just got to be mature in that situation you know what I'm saying and uh be able to find a way to get out of it not not turn the ball over don't turn the ball over so just got to be better at that and work on it throughout the week so you you know you are still moving the ball at a good rate is that the encouraging thing like if you you know clean up those things like you guys can be a pretty good offense yeah definitely that's definitely the encouraging thing but I for me personally and and I think the rest of the offense as well and the rest of the team um that's also the frustrating thing um I mean cuz I don't think the score should have been tonight what it was um I think we had an opportunity to really step on the gas um and keep piling on uh and we weren't able to do that with uh with turnovers so um I mean we just got to be better coming out next week um but I mean at the end of the day a win is a win we're two and 0 um so I mean we just stacked another one and0 week and uh looking forward to doing that again next week your first rug game as a pirate how impressed were you with the fans that show up day it was awesome man it was awesome it's a cool Stadium uh cool environment uh I mean we had a lot of purple over there we had a lot of purple over there and they were loud too so um it's great to see the Pirates out here um supporting us and uh super thankful for that for sure you think you're ready to head home now 2 and0 and face app State I mean how excited are you for what Dy f is going to look like next weekend oh yeah yeah I I expected to uh I expected to be rocking um I'm excited to see everybody out there um yeah just I mean as you win people like to see winning right so they're going to come out um and and we're going to clean things up and I'm going to clean things up and we're going to keep stepping on the gas so look forward to next week yeah as you start building with these guys I mean I know like Anthony Smith's making some great catches downfield I mean you starting to kind of get a good chemistry and just kind of knowing where these guys can what they can do as well yeah for sure for sure I think uh with the more time that goes by um we we had reps and Spring ball um but as you start getting into the game plans um we're still doing everything that we were doing in Spring ball as well um and through the summer and through the fall but uh as you go through it you just kind of see them make more and more plays and abil confidence in uh in each other so yeah you have so many weapons on offense does that make you comfortable at quarterback that you don't have to do too much yeah for sure for sure and I think uh there's it's a perspective thing I think uh um that's definitely the mature thing to do is okay yeah you don't have to press right um I can check the ball down and I'm I checked the ball down one time to uh to to Marlin and I screwed it up in the pocket and it wasn't there checked it down to him and he he ran for a lot right so um just little things like that uh that are really important um but I mean also it could make you kind of press um at times just because you have so much faith in the guys but I mean that's at the end of the day it's all me and that's an accountability thing um I'm going to do better about that and just checking the ball down man just checking the ball down and LIF him to fight another play one more question anybody anything else
