West Montana College Football 25 TeamBuilder Sim Dynasty! Can We Build A National Power In Slow Sim?

what's up YouTube welcome into Jeff Sim leagues and today we're kicking off our first dynasty on the channel it's going to be with the West Montana Wranglers I want to shout out the Creator you can see the arrow flashing pointing him out I did not create this team I could not get team Builder to work for me I've been wanting to get this channel up and going for a while but I couldn't build my own team so you know I was having some issues a lot of people have dealt with that let's meet some of the players first up your starting quarterback Von Ruben he's a true Junior and he's kind of already at his ceiling but I think he's somebody that can move around and maybe make some plays for us we also have Keenan bugs who has a little bit of room for development he is a true freshman he is a little bit more athletic and he's somebody that we might be able to build around he just doesn't have the strongest arm and that's going to be his weakness at the end of the day and at running back it's deshun rosu who's going to lead the way this year he's a decent player he has some room for growth he has Platinum team player which I really like so hopefully that allows him to develop your top player on the entire team's Kenan genus he is a wide receiver he is fantastic he has a little bit more room for growth but he's a senior so we only have him for this season now as we're going through the rest of this team we're not going to talk about them all you're going to see him flashing I want to say first up we don't play the games these are simmed games we're going to jump in and slow Sim and watch these games so it's not up to me it's up to the players to perform I can adjust Playbook that's it that's all we're going to do second thing we jumped ahead 5 years in the future so now we're in the year 20 I think it's 2029 as where we're kicking off and that's going to make it to where all these players are fake and we're going to do a Madden League the same way and that's where these players are going to end up and you're going to be able to see their NFL careers play out hopefully anyway I just wanted a bunch of fake guys so the years are going to be a little off but I don't care and at the end of the day I want to have fake guys I don't want to use a bunch of real guys and I need to get this team completely different cuz every team Builder is the same at the start so I just want to be able to have my complete own team and to have every team around the nation be their own team as well so when we play teams there's no real life players either way our head coach his name is Jeff Addison he's going to run a multiple offense he's going to be a defensive scheme of a 4-3 and he's going to run the UMass Playbook on offense I really like that Playbook I think it's a good one I think it'll Sim well we'll be able to see we're going to jump into our first game though and it's going to be against Middle Tennessee State and I'm excited to see how this team can perform however we are going to begin on defense as I always love to see offense first but what can you do as the kick is away and it's going to be returned and it's kind of an ugly one so the Raiders are backed up here as they take over that's Jeff Addison on the sideline as he's about to coach his first career game hopefully he can get this team going in the right direction I think it's going to be a struggle as you seen our overall isn't the greatest we're only in the upper 70s you know we're like a 76 which isn't bad I couldn't make us much worse than that as Middle Tennessee state's going to bust off a big run there and pick up a bunch of yards they're moving the ball pretty well here until we get pressure in there that's a big hit that's number 95 but get in the play we'll flash names up on the screen next game I'll be a little bit better as Cooper Samuel is his name he gets the sack like I said this is my first game with this team I'm learning them we're going to put names up and we're going to make sure you guys get to learn this team as that's a deep shot down the field pass is broken up though great play by our corner there that's going to force a punt and West Montana roughs the punter are you kidding me I played this game prior to the new patch that came out so I'm not sure maybe that'll be better in the future Vega had the penalty there and unfortunately that gave the first down to the Raiders so now they're going to be able to keep marching they're all the way out at the 42 yard line so they go to their ground game that's a decent run there that's going to get them for they're marching man and now we're in deep trouble as they're going to sweep to the edge and they get hit and stuffed that's going to be a great play by our defense right there standing strong third down and three and we don't give up the first down what a play that's going to force them to settle for a long 48 yd or 49 yd field goal that is up and no good he missed it wide right so it's 0 0 as we take over and we're going to pass it out there that's a great bubble to start off our season and we're going to get a first down on that what a play by number 19 he's our number three receiver we expect big things from like I said we're still learning this team you're going to see names popping up throughout it's just the easiest way to do this first episode because the first episode we're meeting the team I also am going to be talking a lot so I'm not necessarily going to be commentating in the future episodes yes I'll be doing more commentating and if you're still here consider hitting that subscribe button we're a new channel and we're on track trying to grow here with college football and Madden also consider dropping a like on the video I'd really appreciate that but so what are we going to do with this series well my goal is like I said we're slow simming every game you might see two games in an episode it might be all highlights for one game and then we do a slow Sim basically watch the whole game or you know know it could be three or four games where we do it like that it just depends on how the season goes and how I'm able to edit the videos you know I don't know how much time I'm going to have doing this I'm just starting out with it I do unfortunately have other commitments and I do have another small YouTube channel that I also run that I'm still trying to grow that's more of me playing the games I'm not going to link them right now I want you guys to really like this format before I start sending you over to my main channel so in the future I'll link it but for now I just like you guys to really hone in on what we're doing and see if this concept's going to be well-liked I think it will be I think it's pretty cool to just let the players be the players so our goal is to add story lines I'll suspend players I'll do different things that I have to do in order to make the story interesting we'll cut players that we probably shouldn't because they're going to get in trouble and things like that and if they don't transfer to another FBS School they'll end up going down to the FCS and you'll see them in draft classes if they're a really good player from an FCS school so that's kind of my goal here I just want a bunch of story lines I want to have fun watching these slow Sim games Cuz Mr Hurricane's a guy that I watch and he's somebody that I think really does a good job with these games games and he's somebody that really made me want to do it and I think the concept's great and I want to build the channel around it I think that me playing the game is frustrating because I'm not the best player and I know that so on my main Channel that's one of the things I struggle with I'm not the greatest player in the world so you know that's the hard part and I don't think this would do great to try to do it next to a bunch of let's play stuff so here I'd rather slow Sim and just let the play kind of be what it is and let the players be who they are and let them develop and learn the players and let them have their own unique personalities and I think we can do that here we we're going to have good players with high ratings that just suck Drew F and we're going to bench him because why would we want to play a guy that's not playing well and we're going to have low overall players that are going to be able to step in and I think they'll be able to dominate in this format I've seen it in all of Mr Hurricane's videos I've seen it in some test runs I did so I think that that's going to create some unique perspective in college football and maybe a little bit more realistic it's going to allow a three star without a high ceiling to be able to step in and be a good player and that's just unique and I think that's going to be cool to be able to see now here's the thing there's skill caps and and with the new update you will be able to edit players ratings that's something that is going to be in this series if you're a first team All-American you're going to go up to a 90 overall if you're a second team All-American you're going to go up to an 87 overall if you win an a ward you're going to go up to a 95 overall and if you win the Heisman you're going to be a 99 overall player when you leave so when do I do that I do it before the playoffs start after the awards are announced we'll edit it for the postseason every team's going to have their updated players and I know it's maybe not the best way to do it it's something I do on my main channel that I'm glad I'm going to be able to incorporate there and I've done on past series and it's something that I believe in because the game doesn't really allow players to develop like that unfortunately you know they're capped with Dev traits and things like that and to me I don't think that's okay I think that's wrong and I don't think that's the right way to go about it so I really do think this gives us a unique opportunity to create our own world and that's something we're going to do here I hope you guys are okay with that I'm not going to just do it for my team I do it for everybody around the nation because it's the right thing to do star players who play well are going to be high in the next game they might be a low overall when the game first comes out but by the end of the season they're going overall is going to go up if they're a star in the game they just don't develop like that so I have to add a little bit of that realism and some guys might have a higher ceiling than you think coming out of high school and that's my way of overcoming that so hopefully you guys are all right with that concept I like that the next thing my plan is I want to watch the national title games but unfortunately you can't do that in online franchise or Dynasty so it's disappointing that I'm not going to be able to do that in this but you know it is what it is that's something that we just can't do because for some reason they decided to make team Builder online only which I think is absolutely stupid in my opinion because what I wanted to do with my original concept was an all 32 NFL league and an allconference team so like or league in college football 25 so I was hoping to be able to do like 16 teams that were all team Builders and build them up and showcase a whole conference but I can't do that I can't let my full creat side out and that was really my goal of this channel when I started it but with online only team builder for both Madden and college football I kind of took that away you can expect a Madden franchise to be coming into the channel that one's going to be a little bit unique and a little bit different I don't know exactly how the format's going to work out because there's no way I can do 16 episodes for a season I just don't have the time for that like I said I have a main YouTube channel that I play the games on already and then I just have other commitments in life as most people do so I'm thinking I'm going to play all the games the same way I do this slow Sim watch them maybe throw some highlights maybe if a game's not that entertaining just show off the stats and move on I think that's the best way to go I haven't decided on my team so if you guys are still here comment below and tell me a team you'd like to see me rebuild in Madden 25 in this slow slim format and see maybe some of our star players from this team and from teams we go against or players we recruit in that franchise cuz I think that's something that's really cool and really unique that isn't always done by YouTubers and especially since you can't automatically export the draft classes I don't think people are doing it so I really want to do that and I want to create our own world and that's the goal of Jeff Sim league so I just want this to be my league it's going to be my rules I'm going to have control over it and I know that's stupid for some people because oh well you can rig the system absolutely I can but I'm going to try to have some dignity I'm going to try to have a little bit of Honor here and I'm going to try to be upfront and show things off when I do things and make it make sense so I'm not going to do anything just to hurt the CPU to make myself better that's dumb that's not entertaining and you guys have no reason to believe me or have trust in me right now but I promise you if you guys stick around you'll see that I'm going to be able to show my Integrity I've done it on other channels and I've never done it just to benefit myself but like I said enough with the main Channel we're not going to link that yet we're not ready for that I want this channel to have a chance to grow and develop and become its own thing because at the end of the day I think this is a cool concept and I can't wait to get into it our Wranglers have a long way to go they come in at a 78 overall we have questions at quarterback we have a really good receiver but we have questions behind him there our old line pretty good but a lot of older guys so there's a lot of questions there defensively we have a lot of work to do especially at defensive tackle we are exceptionally weak there especially when it comes to the Future because we just don't have a lot of Developmental players there they're in like the low 60s overall defensive end we have a really good player this year and then beyond that I think we have to do some work corn kind of weak linebacker weak safety's kind of weak overall this team needs development and on special teams we're going to need a new kicker and a new punter next year as well so recruiting is going to be kind of a big deal for this team and we're going to be able to bring some of our own guys in and really make this team our own and the nice thing is like I said we're not stuck starting with the same old team Builder that's why I simmed ahead hopefully you guys are okay with that idea to me it just made the most sense I wanted my own world I wanted my own thing that's all I wanted I just didn't want to have that same old same old team Builder and had I known we'd be able to edit the roster a little bit easier in the future you know like overalls and stuff offline I would have done I would have waited and done it that way but you know I don't regret it at the end of the day we'll be able to have players around the league that nobody knows and they're able to become their own thing and teams can be who they are like I said we're 5 years in the future in this so we have time to learn now I decided to talk through this game because it wasn't really a close game we didn't play well it shows a lot of our weaknesses we had a lot of turnovers we really were inconsistent we were able to get the ball moving and then all of a sudden the drive would stall we would throw a pick we'd fumble we' just do something dumb that cost us or take a bad sack so it just shows our weaknesses and that's why I decided instead of really cutting this game down and trying to get into commentary I wanted to talk cuz this is the first video on the channel and you know you guys need to know who I am and what I'm about what the series is about so hopefully you guys are okay with that in the future it's going to be a little bit more commentary based I'm going to be calling games we're going to be going through it like I said as I'm talking in post editing here I'm planning on throwing players names up when they make plays so that way you can get to learn the players in this episode without me actually mentioning them right now I intend on story lines being a part of it that means suspensions that means players being kicked off the team that means a lot of different things that we can do and if you guys have ideas I'd love comments below I'm looking for feedback on everything this is about building a community this is about building something you guys can enjoy watching and this is about me not having to Showcase any skill cuz all I'm doing here is recruiting and hoping like heck my players turn out good and if they sweet that's awesome we're going to be you know doing good things but if they don't we're going to be in trouble and you know we're going to have a bad future and it's going to be a hard rebuild and I think West Montana is going to be a really fun one I love the colors it reminds me of the Florida Gator who are my favorite college football team I I just think the uniforms pop and they're beautiful I got to get like I said that Creator who created this deserves a ton of credit I didn't find any YouTube channels with it out there so I'm not taking away from somebody on YouTube but but it was really well done and they deserve a ton of credit now I wanted to build my own team um I guess I'll talk about it here I was going to build the Billings Elks and make them out of Billings Montana unfortunately like I said Team Builder busted man it just doesn't work so I couldn't do it and I delayed starting this series for about a month trying to get that to start working and at the end of the day I figured it was time and I would take somebody else's creation which I don't feel great about doing that for my first dynasty on the channel but there's nothing else I can do man I hope that this blows up and I hope that Creator is okay with it and takes all sorts of credit cuz I have no way of knowing who they are and if by some miracle you're watching this reach out to me man I really appreciate the work that you did they're here so I think that the best thing we can do is jump into commentary for the rest of this game I kind of told you who I am and what I'm about out we know where this game stands but I think it's time that we maybe jump in here for the fourth quarter and I show off a little bit of commentary we finish this game up we look at some stats recruiting we're not going to talk about that yet it's either going to be its own episode or I'm going to give it a few weeks to develop before I really start showing it off and I do plan on showing off the top 100 recruits each and every year I don't know exactly how I'm going to do it and how I'm going to Showcase it because there's a lot of things that you have to be mindful of when you're building a YouTube channel up but I want them guys to feel real so that way they can go to Madden and be real players and Madden and you feel like oh hey I remember his journey he committed to Ohio State and then transferred to Utah to finish his career like what an odd storyline and it also just makes us that way when Blue Chip players appear in our draft you're like oh hey he should be a blue chip like he's a big time player especially when he enters the portal and stuff you know and it's like hey we're targeting this guy we knew he was like the number one safety in his class type deal also I want to mention here that the settings for this are all American because I'm not playing the games so there's no reason for me to be set on heis when I think all American allows the CPU versus CPU to be pretty fair and pretty balanced the other thing is the injuries are turned way up I turned them up because I want to make sure they happen and I still don't think at 50 they're going to happen often enough and then the last thing I did is I actually did turn down interceptions after this game cuz I thought maybe they were a little too high you know you guys have seen the highlights in the background I think there was three or four in this game so I decided to turn them down to 35 which is where a lot of people play with him at and see how that goes I may have to bump it back up if QBs are not aggressive enough but that's all I got for thoughts I want to commentate the rest of this game and we'll go over stats and get to learn some more about the team so let's Jump On In Here It looks like we have some motion it's first and goal we got backed up following a penalty we go to our ground game and that's a pretty solid run right there that's going to bring us to about the 5 yard line as we're looking to pass that's a bad decision he ran right into the sack like what are you doing there man why would you do that come on V you got to play better than that we expect more from a junior starter so he's going to throw a bad pass what is that man that's intercepted and I think they're going to take that back to the house so we're probably going to end up being down 34 to6 here we got one man that might catch him and he doesn't even come close he's about five yards away that's a big return by George adeni nice return there touchdown Middle Tennessee State they extend their lead up 346 like I said so we bring in some backups we brought in our freshman quarterback to see what he can do for us I want to see if he's worth a darn you know see if you somebody we want to develop around us he's doing pretty solid things on screen passes to begin this drive nothing crazy we got 3 minutes left here he's going to pass he's going to throw another screen and we missed blocks that one ended up going nowhere it could have been a big play there so we're going to pass now second and 10 we're avoiding the run a little too much in this game that's something I may need to adjust but then again when you're getting destroyed like we are you're not going to run the ball that much you do have to pass to get back into it so I'm not really sure at the end of the day exactly you know what you can take away from one game is we're looking to pass here we're going to throw it into coverage that is a nice throw and a nice catch that's going to be a first down as we marching here we might just be able to get points before the end of this game we're on the move here that pass is not out of his hands in time Keenan bugs takes the sack there Middle Tennessee state's going to back us up it's going to be second and 20 now so clearly this drive is not going as good as I thought it was as bugs gets on the move and he's going to throw it down underneath get five of them yards back that's okay it's third and 15 let's get a little closer and maybe we can get a field goal as he's going to throw it and that one's broken up Dexter odonnell couldn't hold on it was in his hands so it's Fourth and 15 bugs has got a pass he's on the move to his left and he throws it into coverage that's another interception man that's a big turnover there Keenan bugs has got to play better than that truthfully none of our quarterbacks played very well today and with 58 seconds left it's safe to say this game's over and that's exactly what it is your final is going to be 34 to6 today West Montana continues it's losing ways as they you know they didn't win a single game last season I don't think so the end of the day this is a pretty long losing streak that they're on so hopefully they can get it snapped Ruben played okay but he didn't have any touchdowns he threw two picks bugs came in he was pretty good once again though threw a pick he was kind of desperate though so I don't really blame him there on the ground we didn't run enough and we weren't efficient when we did fiz led us with 80 yards through the air that was a good day on his behalf looking at our defense it was tahada with 12 tackles 10 for flowers 10 for shable and we had three tfls from Brown and flowers two sacks from flowers one from Brown half of one from Alexis and Samuel we had a pick by Dennis tongues and then Matt Garrison for Middle Tennessee State kind of dominated us man he was really good on the ground they were super good man 176 yards 7.6 yards per carry in a touchdown through the air they didn't really do that much they were just super efficient passing the ball and they never really got into bad situations so it kind of makes it easy for them at the end you know that that's what happens when you're you're just not playing well you know and you're playing a bad team you're able to just control the clock and do what you want to do they ended up with four sacks against us could have been a lot worse they did get three picks two of them by Georgia Denny and then one by Bermudez there coming out of that defeat though we do end up with a Mountain West Conference player of the week and it's Taylor flowers with his three tfls and two sacks that's a big big big award for the first week of the dynasty we played pretty good with him but at the end of the day we didn't play well enough to win the game and we were dominated so I'm surprised we ended up getting conference player of the week either way things don't get any easier next week they in fact they probably get tougher as West Montana's going to head to Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers who are five overall points better than them and I expect this to be kind of a bit of a Slaughter so this may be your first two game episode we'll have to see how the game goes but I'm
