maybe win the kick it didn't feel like too much out there um the first field goal set it felt like it was a little in our face and the second set a little at our back and then for the the team situation kick it didn't feel like that much at all you just feel like you're in a really good G right now yes sir taking one at a time uh making sure I see each ball I kick and going from there keeping it as simple as that this might be a dumb question but how different is it kicking on the practice field versus what it'll be Saturday night in the stadi um good question I I'll get back to you after Saturday Lambo um not no not since I've obviously played there the last 3 years but um no not since I've I realized AUST first way to go here but what does it feel like to be a gr that t right now um feels good you know like I said not I don't look at Stats I don't look at yesterday I'm not look at tomorrow you know look at today um and literally seeing my foot through each and every ball one at a time like singularly that's it so 7 for seven in the day I think you've made 13 last two days none all none of these numbers the end no uh you know cuz I don't look at as 7 for seven it's one for one you know um in my head so um you know keeping that mindset and then you know obviously trying to stay in that Groove and then taking that mindset to pre-season Greg has that always been your approach or is that something you learned from experience that you can't worry about bills numbers and and what that good questions um I think if you get I think it's real easy to get you know mixed up in all that so um I think it's something that I heard from vets and gotten you know advice from vets but it's one thing to know it and another thing to truly trust it and input it so um I'd be lying if I said you know as soon as I heard of it um you know I was straight into it it definitely took some maturing some learning and Trust in my ability is it the same thing with a miss too like you can't miss two in a row Ball's gone so um yeah miss one one in a row miss two in a row Ball's gone under the next one the next kick is the most important kick probably a dumb question here too but you made a what a 61y or actually won a football game once yeah so what is it does a 58 y on the practice field do anything for you I didn't even know we were that far back to be honest cuz I'm just like and I'm not trying to sound any type of way just my mindset is just locked in that wherever they put the ball down you know that's I I get my line I get my in point and you know I put my fo the ball the same as if it was a p or the same if it was a so you don't have to give it any extra like you're using the same stroke yes sir I think once you get back to that point and you know you need to give a little extra of course you can but then there's a little bit of room for erir gos up so um you know there's some days where I know I'm back there and yeah you know you can put a little extra in but right now I'm just uh trying to see my foot through each ball happy with that stroke and uh yeah I know that if I hit my ball it'll be good from a p you know for that 58 like today um and uh yeah my my mindset is wherever they wherever they put the ball down that's where I'm going to hit it from was there a CO was there a coach that instilled that mindset in you or did you kind of teach yourself an old an old Mentor mind an Old Coach um he played he put some years in the league and did really well in the CFL justtin Medlock I would be nowhere near where I am without him and you know I've had a ple coach that help me but he really instilled that in me and you know still keep in touch with him this day and he sees kicking differently than you know than most people that I I talk to and you know I've had some amazing coaches like Tony P Dan orner um you know Jamie Cole Etc the list goes on um you know including my time at FAU but he he sees it differently and I really appreciate his mindset and really Advanced and like I said took me a while to understand it but uh he uh I would be anywhere here you know near where I am without him
