anyway so I was thinking okay I'm not going to be able to do my training as a break dancer to make it to the Olympics in La however Clint I've got another route I don't know if you remember this but I was pretty prolific in my 24 years of college that I took it was something like that many semesters one of my Majors the school doesn't officially uh was doesn't give a degree in this but um one of the things I majored in was intermural Sports okay I was involved in every interal sport especially flag football yeah 100% yeah and uh I uh coached a GU team coached a girls team uh played and actually coached like I coached my team I was on usually or was one of the coaches and coached another guy's team actually one year um so I've I've got plays dude I've got I've got flag football plays on laminated I still got them somewhere on laminated you know 3x five cards you know that we would I would put them on a a key ring and give them to my quarterback and I would give them the call so I'm going to I'm thinking I can make it as a coach for flag football team now I just need to find a flag football team what do you think no I you are a fine flag football coach and I I say I I I say you know what if there's a there's somebody to coached the team in America it's you my friend should be me I'm gon give but I'm gonna tell you I I'm gonna also take this I'm to apply for a job with International Olympic Community Committee and my my job is just going to be like dude just that's all I got to say it's just when they go hey I got an idea let's add break Dan Olympics I just go dude we're gonna they need that guy they need that friend they need that friend that's gonna look at them and just go dude dude dude dude dude just no dude you know you know I help out with the wrestling thing and I'm I'm really helping out with the creative in the back with with the organization I'm involved with and I had a I had a friend it and he and he he come up with a really terrible idea just terrible like a tur of an idea and I was like look I'm not gonna be mean to you just tell me what you're thinking and then he explained it and I was like bro like yeah I see your point bro he goes and I'm just like I'm happy we had this talk I'm happy we had this conversation but uh yeah that that was that was really dumb and you know the it's still the most pointless Olympic event I mean you got break dancing and and I didn't and keep in mind I watched like literally zero seconds of the Olympics this year is walking still an Olympic sport yeah yeah and did you see the lady got got beat at the end I didn't like you know they W forever think about what you just said I literally watched zero seconds of the a lady a lady started so celebrating she put her flag on her and she's walking okay CU you're walking so you can start celebrating early right so you're speed walking and she's walking in you know just you know how they do they they get that speed walk waddle going yeah and and all of a sudden she's got it on and then all of a sudden she looks over and this other lady's passing her by and she's like oh takes off it's hilarious it's so funny like you can only run to catch her up that's illegal yeah yeah it's not like you can take over the Sprint yeah I'm like like they want to get rid of rasling but they don't want to get rid of walking yeah it's and my question is does the water have to be a certain like do they got to Waddle a certain degree in order it to be a waddle instead of a run I've research this 0% I'm just going based off memory but I think you can only like raise your knee so high if you raise your knee over yay they're like no yeah what if someone's trained as a like military High stepper and they like to get their knee up high you know like a the Tony Dorsett of speed walking you know with a high knee running you know what what's gonna happen anyway sorry we're yeah I mean we're Sports show folks we're analyzing speed walking analy yeah but anyway Clint I'm listen I'm putting this out there on the internets interwebs folks if you need my credentials okay I coached several mediocre intermal teams at OBU very mediocre very mediocre but my claim to fame is I coached a girls team of these girls were all missionary kids Clint meaning they had they didn't know what a foot like like when I said football they think oh good soccer like dirty the only sport they were good at and the whole like all the sports we did was floor hockey because they grew up playing broom hockey in the streets to the cities they grew up in as missionary kids okay right yeah so like no none others we we were not good at any other sport volleyball basketball softball okay by the second year those girls were I think third out of six teams okay that may not sound like much that that was a big move okay that was like I'm talking I had girls our our big play was the Statue of Liberty worked for Boise State but I had a girl that was super fast she couldn't run a route she couldn't run route but I could tell her hey the quarterback's going to do this and just run back there grab the ball and run it and she would do it and you had to come up with creative ways to get her the ball because Clinton that's the kind of Coach I am you are that's the kind of Coach I am I'm telling you right now we weos two jobs for both of us and I think you'd be fools not to hus Tyrus got his Olympic Committee olymp dude dude bro yeah he's that guy Clint is that guy me look I have a play I have a couple plays that I think are non-stop that I mean I got some plays that cannot be beat just give me some time to let a team practice them can be beat China will not be able to defend them they will not be able to defend them you know and I'm gonna tell you this right now I mean you know we all have play Madden and you've got that play that just works every time that's right I I got a couple of them you CS got a couple of them got a coup why not hire the man and dude come on dude dudee right there folks okay here we go Clint you ready dude I'm excited this next week the game start on Thursday yeah my dude this is my favorite favorite favorite podcast of the year like I always enjoy them but I also enjoy with me and you because I have not went through the the schedule and done my nether but I so I'm excited about it's my first time going through it like this but you've been asking for Big Joe Big Joe bear is that what he goes about Joe yeah big big bear Joe Big Bear Jo lost a lot of weight he's a little Joey now yeah he's so not so big bear he's he's not a Grizzly anymore he's a grizly but he but he's been dying for this he's been dying for this to see how know and I just wants to know hey what what what do the boys think what do the boys think well here we go and you know for the third year in a row I open up the football season the Razer backs home opener from Las Vegas Nevada that's right yeah I'll be in Vegas yeah so here we go first game Clint I gotta be honest with you I'm not excited about this game for any other reason than it's the Razer backs okay once again I'm old get off my longine guy I don't like playing the inate schools I don't like playing I to me this game is hey let's go fist fight with little brother in the backyard no one wins when that happens they just get beat up we get an easy win it's a practice game it does I I just I don't feel good about it because I like uapb I want uapb to do well I don't want them to lose their confidence going into this season I think they have a new coach there uh but you know hey hopefully their coach will uh will get them past this after they you know and who knows they may have a great sh in it depends on what you think here right so what do you think 6:30 on a Thursday not yeah um Arkansas should roll in this one um and you can tell that you grew up an only child because you know when you fight little brother in the backyard you know who wins I win he will so so so but no yeah it's a I think it's a good opportunity I like playing a lesser foe even if it's I mean you can argue that is you shouldn't play uapb but either way you're going to be playing somebody like Portland State um you know last year we we played uh that and I like playing them opening game because you you don't have to worry about it's three weeks in we're going to Coast this week so I like getting it out of the way um Aransas Rose comfortable um I think you'll see a lot of Malachi Singleton in the second half um and I think we'll know we'll know what we have um we'll know a little bit at what we have and we'll know what because it was obvious after after the um it was obviously after the first game last year we had offensive line issues um so I think we'll know a lot more after this game um so yeah I definitely uapb I think we're rolling I think we'll roll also however my prediction is going to be a little different than yours in that um I would not doubt if the backups especially on offense don't get in until about the end of the third quarter or the fourth yeah I would say halfway through the third because you got a long break before your next game and uh patrino always like even with Ryan Mallet played him late in the games we were winning big uh he just he wants because when it's your first game so part of it is you're trying to get you're you're you're not in the part of the season yet where you're trying to build up those backups as much yet uh because you're trying to get your starters to get used to playing together right now anyway okay so you're gonna they're GNA for sure play the whole first half they're GNA for sure I think come out in the second half no matter what the score is even if they have to do a running clock like they did last time they played and all that kind of junk which once again I think is evident of why we should not even play this game but anyway so next after that on September 7th Hogs play go to Oklahoma State Cowboys they are currently ranked 17th in the preseason polls that is a noon game on AB my dog's going nuts apologize that's all right it's on ABC ESPN3 what do you say Clint um Oklahoma State they they have a they've got their quarterback's a seventh year guy you're seven um and we got a freshman older than him um so it's an interesting game um I think we can win this one I think we'll be bigger stronger a little bit more physical um I I I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna take the Hogs and a close one because it's the Homer in me um this is a game this is a this really is this is one of them you you throw in the tossup category um I really think I think I think I think we're more talented than them I really do I think we have more Talent than Oklahoma State I'm going with Arkansas but I ain't confident with it well uh I'm gonna say for the reasons you said about the quarterback also they have a stud running back I think we have a good showing and I really hope we win I hope I'm wrong but I'm going to say Oklahoma State wins that one only because I don't think uapb is going to be a good tuneup for us I think this team will get better as the season goes on I don't think but I don't think we go into that game even with uapb even with a long week I don't think we're ready for what Oklahoma State's going to have with the talent they have and so I I'm GNA say uh Oklahoma State wins that one that's fair uh Alabama Birmingham comes in to fville UAB um what do you say on that one Clint it's a 4:15 game on 45 coached by Trent dfur um former NFL quarterback um Super Bowl champion NFL quarterback that's right um Arkansas's just better and we should this should be this should be a good good game and and and and and I think where what you're going to see this game is but this is where I think you start seeing the offense figure it out because you you've got you got uapb who we should Bop the floor with and you got a team that you're going to struggle with um a little bit Oklahoma state which I would say is probably your equal you may be a little bit more talented um but you're also playing a third place now you got uapb UAB at home um a te a team that you should handle and I I I I see you know this being about a three touchdown game I agree with you I think this is where I think like I said I don't think I think the uapb game is just a little practice it's just a glorified scrimmage against our number fours our Walk-Ons um then Oklahoma State I think is going to be a tough game even though I picked us to lose I think we I still I say we have a good showing against them okay I think we'll have a good showing I just think we they end up winning and like you said I think UAB is where this team it'll start coming together the offense will start clicking uh even better the defense I think is gonna I'm really liking what I'm hearing about our defense so I think I think I'm gonna go with the hogs for sure against UAB of course yeah uh the next game we go to Auburn now remember going to Auburn they're not ranked um you have the hug freeze factor which you know has done well against us um but also you have the fact we're at Auburn and we usually get ripped off in some way by the refs at Auburn yeah um you you know the whatever you know the what was the the the intentional grounding spike the ball thing and all that kind of stuff I we there's usually some way that the refs try to Jack us over okay but what do you think on that game climp what th this is this is a hard one to me um because I want to pick Arkansas because I think Arkansas has a better football team just to be downright honest with you um but for the reasons you say I'm GNA give this one to Auburn just because I think something jankie is going to happen and I think it's going to put a chip on Arkansas's shoulder but I I think just something wonky Arkansas's going to get hosed um and they just they and uh but Arkansas's gonna want this one because they got the breaks beat off of them twice last year yeah and one of them was by Auburn and a team that wasn't that much better than them yeah didn't Auburn get beat right after that by somebody too yeah they they did um like by three touchdowns by somebody not very good I think yeah and and and Auburn's their schedule starts off similar to ores they they're Alabama they host Alabama A&M um Cal comes to them and then New Mexico so they're gonna have a similar build so I think you know both teams are going to be at their hopefully the best um be at their best um Auburn and the Jank one all right I pick the hogs on this one I think um I think revenge factor I think uh I I worry because Hugh freze tends you know he he's a good coach I you I really want to pick Arkansas on this one but I'm worried I'm wory about picking them too much um I think this is a winnable game this in Oklahoma State I would put firmly in the toss-up category um well I'm going with the kind of what I'm going with is the buildup factor I think like I said I think I think we'll lose to Oklahoma state but I think we learn a lot I think we put it together against UAB UAB is going to be a better uh get ready game for Auburn and so that's why I think Auburn U will be a better a better shot for us next we go down to AT&T Stadium for the Southwest classic against the number 20 Texas A&M Aggies that's going to be from 2:30 to 3:30 depending on to be determined um I'm giving this one to Arkansas um 100% I know Bobby trino knows a lot of A&M's players so I think he'll have and I think he'll have this team especially ready for this game and this is one of them games even when Arkansas's terrible even in the Chad moris years it's always was close yep um we always play each other close and um I'm giving this one because of by patrino I'm saying Arkansas is going to take this one at Jerry world I'm gonna agree with you for the patrino factor uh I really don't know what A&M's new coach is GNA do um and I don't know what kind of talent to be honest with you I mean they have talent that's the thing and that's what's scary about it to be honest with you that's why they're ranked 20th okay they they get good recruits every year they have the money to do that especially in the nil however I think the patrino factor I think a new coach I think the I think the Arkansas players get up for that game at Arlington Stadium a little more sometimes um I think I I just I agree with you I'm g go with the hogs on that one this is a brutal three- game stretch here yeah yeah I mean I'm just looking at it I mean the the good news is one of them's neutral and the next two are at home but this is a rough three- game stretch next we have Tennessee Volunteers number 16th rank another ranked team of course coming in uh to fville um don't really know what time it's going to be yet there a there's several options there volunteers returning some Talent yeah they were they their quarterback graduated they return um a five-star that they recruited I don't remember his name but I remember he played the ball game and looked amazing um buddy um I'm just gonna be honest I think Tennessee is better than us and I'm picking Tennessee sadly I gota agree with you um I just I think they're going to be better um and I you know man I hate watching I hate watching Tennessee win because stupid Rocky Top at the end of it man no it's disgusting it is disgusting he makes me nauseous let's go on you think they feel the same way when we woo Pig probably but I don't care yeah we don't care at least we're nice Fisher that stupid yeah I think nme will be their quarterback um yeah um was a fourstar recruit I do believe is this is the battle for the boot so basil may be given the pregame speech you never know yeah uh but and once again another daggum ranked team uh what do you think Clint um LSU has the best player in the SEC Harold Perkins um in my opinion we got we got Carmona Jr baby we got Carmona um this game's always tough I mean even last year when we struggled and didn't have an offensive line we played them tough I'm I'm going to give the Hogs this one um I think they're going to be ready uh and I think you know the quarter we always play LSU tough and I think it being at home and being for the Golden Boot I think we're have a little something extra for him I'm giving it to Arkansas well um I went into this today I decided I was going to be realistic okay I'm gonna try to try to look at this objectively I gotta pick LSU uh hey I I think I think LSU with Kelly uh right now they're ranked 13th some people think they're overrated there I do and that could be it very well could be however I also think they could be underrated right there I think there could be more Talent there and then he's gradually gonna keep getting it out of them I I think I think like I said I do think Harold Perkins is the best best player in the SEC I'm not for sure they're using him correctly to be honest with you and that's one thing that makes me feel good and I still think I think Arkansas can take this one well I'm I hope you're right really do but I'm gonna for the prediction purposes I'm going to go with LSU well nothing says Hey rest and relaxation like a beautiful trip to Starkville Mississippi woohoo yeah we're going to starville it's like from Wayne's World we're in Delaware be West goes to Delaware anyway Mississippi State Bulldogs last year this game was exciting Clint that was that was bowling shoe ugly that was that was like that pair of bowling shoes they've never clean never shined ugly it was a as uh some old coaches used to say it was a pillow fight um it seven to three the defense handing it it just it was the most embarrassing loss under the look I know we got the break breaks beat off of us by Missouri and Auburn that was the most embarrassing loss last year because of who you lost to and and yeah and the fact that one side of the ball came to play and the other side did not yeah uh that being said we were honestly we were the better team last year we're the better team this year um I'm giving us a w on this one well I agree with you I don't think they improved that much if they did improve um and I think we I there's no way Bobby petrino's offense goes with three points this year oh no no there's no way there's no way against mississipp State Bulldog defense there's no way it happens even down in Davis Wade Stadium doesn't happen folks Hogs by 90 okay maybe not but uh still I think we win and I think we win decisively I think that'll be the only uh the only SEC game where our backups get some play in time yeah I'll put it that way that's my prediction you didn't ask for okay yeah next back up at uh Reynolds Razorback Stadium the oh number six preseason oh Miss Rebels by led by Lane kein are GNA be on the Hallowed Ground And um lots of transfers but Jackson Dart maybe the most important non-transfer or at least from this year I know he transferred him before um you're you know you're coming off of playing LSU Mississippi State of course not you're not going to be I think you might you know you know my thing was is om Miss in Arkansas is always a pick them game you know it really is even when one of us is ranked and the other ones not so great it's always been a pick them game yeah being at Arkansas gives me hope but I'm looking at oh Miss's schedule so the so they they are playing at LSU on October 12th then they have a by we and then they host okl then they got to go to Arkansas and then that next week they have Georgia come into town so om Miss is going to have they have one or two things that's going to happen either they're going to lost a couple games and a lot of these guys transferred in thinking that they had a shot at a that national title and it's not going well um and on the other hand you're also could be looking looking ahead to Georgia if you're doing well because yeah because you know what they're going to be talking about college game day next week blah blah blah number one Georgia Georgia's probably maybe lose one maybe two games all year George is GNA be in the playoffs y'all just is what it is they're they're I would be shocked if they weren't so this is this you've got a chance to either catch om Miss beat up are are are looking ahead um I think this will go to whichever teams the healthiest I really do um and I'm going to Arkansas but I don't feel good about it I think this is just one of them that they figure out um I think CL this is hurting me dude this this this this whole exercise this may be the worst podcast ever I may never want to watch this one ever again I gotta pick Old Miss okay I think there's too much talent uh now the challenge for kein is going to be I think kean's one of the best coaches in NCAA but the challenge is going to be similar to what it was for Arkansas last year can you Jael those players together by this time of the season if it's going to happen it's going to happen I think they're more talented than we are um no they they they are I'm just thinking the way hopefully the way the schedule L I agree with I agree with everything you said and I could talk myself into what you said very easily okay I could I'm I'm online with you their schedule where they're at woring about Georgia I totally agree with you and probably if it had been last year I would have I would have said the same thing but last year hurt it hurt yeah it did and I'm scared and so I'm going into this picking realistic laying it out there this is it yeah no Travis where where do I have us at and where do you have us at record wise right now right now you have us winning one two three four five six seven wins and I have a SW in one two three four five wins okay so you're two ahead of me okay so that so I have is so we're what seven and two seven and three on mine seven two 72 on mine yeah we're uh and you have us five and four yeah we're nine games in so yeah yeah you guys five and four Texas is the best football team in the country um that period the end and uh yeah and the only thing that the only thing that will allow us to beat Texas at this point is if Texas is not ready for the SEC grind I do not by any chance believe that coach Sark who's a very good football coach is not ready for the SEC grind um I think Texas probably beats Us by at least two touchdowns yeah I'm uh I'm I'm picking Texas also um same reasons um but I feel like man my My Hope Is we have a good showing against Texas like like I want to come out of that game them saying wow that Arkansas team is tough because you know kind of like well kind of like Alabama last year right you know last year Alabama everybody was predicting Alabama to be Us by 50 and we played them tight okay yeah so I think I think I wanted I want that kind of game I want that kind of game but I think this Texas team's better than Alabama last year well they beat Alabama last year yeah and so um now I agree I don't know I'm I'm anxious to see how they do with the SEC grind just because they're players that have been there before haven't been used to that however like you said Sark he's been around he knows um he knows what he's walking into so U and truth of the matter is every other team they play is you know or besides the out of conference games I mean but every SEC team has got to be in that SEC grind also yeah well they've got you know they've got Florida the week before us um and we have the bye right before this that's why I think we'll have a one of the reasons I think we'll have a good showing is we got the bye right before so we'll be able to heal up a little bit for that part of the season after that LSU game or Old Miss game sorry yeah all right after that we got a little uh let's take out the frustrations of what Texas did to us and let's play Louisiana Tech I'm gonna give us a win coming into fville this is also a um this is also you know this is this is a definitely a trap it could very well be a trap game but senior day um last game for a lot of these guys in at Reynolds Razer back Stadium I'm GNA give it to Arkansas probably be Clos you think we'll probably win this one by 17 um so I've got us at eight wins right there yeah so and I have us at six and we're coming in going to Columbia Missouri that's right folks if you're pick want to pick a road game to go to if you miss the Starkville game you two can go to Colombia Missouri I've been there I went to the Arkansas U Missouri game yes you did and it was amazing wasn't it what an atmosphere it actually was pretty good um but but missoury was playing for Bowl eligibility and Arkansas was playing um to like maybe we can upgrade the Liberty Bow to the independence bow or some crap like that I don't yeah no not a lot to play for other than uh pride and uh they didn't and so it wasn't wasn't a good showing Missouri's got a good football team man they do they they've got a good football team um drink wh has done a good job 11th ranked going into the season yeah they don't play anybody I mean their their schedule's pretty soft they may have one or two wins um I'm going to give this one to Missouri it's at Missouri um and I and I do I think a couple of games I predicted them to beat Tennessee and then I predict or LSU and a coup there's a couple I think they'll probably lose one of those I predict them to win um but not both of them so I I would have them probably finishing seven and five but my fish prediction is going to be eight and four cuz I went game by game but I think seven and five I think I probably homered it a little bit um so I'd say seven and five would be about where I'd have them at okay well is you going with what you said or you going you g who I had them who did I have them losing beating Tennessee and uh uh Tennessee no you had us winning against Tennessee yeah I changed that to a loss no no you had us losing sorry sorry that's what that way you down me I I was sticking eight and4 I I went down at 8 and4 LSU you had us beaten LSU I stand by that one you had us beating Old Miss yeah I don't feel so good about that in Mississippi State no I'm gonna keep it at is eight and four I think we'll be happy with that looking at the let me predict my last game here Missouri we win it baby I hope you're right win the battle line this year we're going to win we're going to beat pitman's going to do it again we're going to get well we're going to get at least two of the trophies back okay we're g to get the A&M game and we're gonna get the Missouri game uh dck witch has said too many stupid things so that's going to be bulletin board material um and I think the message boards and talk radio is going to have the Hogs playing for pitman's job because I think he'll be uh going into that with six wins and I think six wins is kind of a do we keep him or not okay I think I think that I think it's six wins if he finishes the year with six wins I think he very well could go okay because the pressure is going to be to go because everybody's going to say put Bobby as the head coach that's that's just what's gonna happen no it's people people already saying like Bobby they're already saying that start out the season so why not right yeah but I think with seven wins he keeps his job after the season he had they had last year I think if as long as they show up in the games and so I think I think the players the players love him man they really do and I think they're going to go out I think the assistant coach is gonna say hey we got to do this for coach and I think so there's going to be extra motivation for that game you're coming off Louisiana Tech right before that okay where you you're going to be able to hopefully maybe play some you know if you got to sit some people out for injuries you can do that that may be why like you were talking about the Louisiana Tech game maybe a little closer it could be closer because we're you know we got you know say um you know let's say uh you know our tight end or wide receiver or somebody like that is you know you know got you know or you know one of the linemen or somebody is hurting a little bit play the backup that game okay yeah play the backup that game let them rest for a week so that they're ready for Missouri game and you can blow it out against them so uh so my prediction is seven and five I've been saying all along I would say six or seven wins as we went down game by game like you said and like you did you end up usually on the higher end going game by game like this because talk yourself into it okay when you look at it as a whole and you start thinking what's your overall going to be it gets a little different so Clint eight and four seven and five we both say six and six is a very real possibility we get to the end of the year what do you want to want to see at the end of the year what do you think makes this and you can look back and say okay um this was a good year for the Hogs and you're excited about next year right you want to see taon green being the quarterback that that that everyone says he is that that's the number one thing you want to see um I did feel better I watch Bob on press conference because you know they were really mad about the uh everybody was up in arms about the interceptions and the last eight interceptions last eight interceptions and then and then you're like but that was in the whole thing so it wasn't just Taylor green yeah but see that's what people don't get Sam pitman's job is not just this is not the NFL Sam pitman's job is not just to coach Tayon green petrino's job is not just vote ton green it's the coach ton green Malachi Singleton AJ Jackson um and three of those interceptions were on tip balls yeah so that that that could be we don't know we didn't see them there's no film of them that I know of but that that could yeah not they're showing us but that could mean the receiver messed up so it's not necessarily blaming on the quarterback on all those yeah uh because if the if the receiver now if it was high you know was a bad throw in the receiver couldn't reach it then it go in the quarterback but sometimes that that can be a ball that's you know not hits them in the hands bounces off and Def Defender grabs it so so you want to see I so like he even Pat said tail one tail lines was tipped it was a great play by the defensive back and don't he just threw a pick it's gonna happen listen I'm playing college football to 25 on rookie and I threw a pick earlier today it happened so it just it does but I think you know you talked to aranso fans what hurt what hurt them most about last year what hurt us all the most and me I'm the biggest Sam Pitman apologist there is I love the man I think he's our head coach I'm happy he's our head coach yeah the way the offensive line play that's what hurt us so bad um and that I don't know and he probably saw that was broken with Ena he had to see it was broken early on and either was just in denial or just didn't want or just didn't know how to fix it and I I and so I'm talk about the offense as a whole but I think as long as the offensive line comes together and it sounds like it's coming it sounds like it's a close unit um as long as they come together and they play the way they should play and play like an offensive line an above average to good SEC offensive line I think they'll be fine well and I and I agree with you on the off defensive line that to me that was the saddest part of last year but the saddest part to me I don't necessarily blame the players you knew what you had you saw what you had in practice you didn't adjust your play calling Clint there's lots of teams that have bad offensive lines they adjust their play calling to work they make quicker plays quicker routes you can adjust your play calling to make up for a bad offensive line to still have some kind of offense now you can't I'm not going to say you're going to have you're not going to have the you know the 10th best offense in the nation just because of play calling but what I'm saying is you go from having uh what were we hund and something to to in the 50s or 60s in the nation okay so let me ask you a question and let's just be just pull it off and let's just call it like it is and was last year does designed to be a good offense or designed to get KJ Jefferson NFL I think they were more worried about getting KJ to the NFL and they were having a good offense and I think they swung and they missed yeah that is the Bobby trano is GNA run an offense designed around his talents yeah to feature his players and by trino and I don't did you watch any of the Hard Knocks in season at all um with the Miami Dolphins last year a little bit but it's it's been a long time but Mike McDaniel the the the head coach he was like all right he's over there he's over there okay I gotta figure out a way to get Tyreek Hill the ball yeah patrino is gonna be thinking I gotta find a way to get sentena the ball I gotta find a way to get this guy the ball that that's the way his is gonna the way his mind's gonna work yeah I think he's going to design and I think ton green having patrino up to his ear in his ear is going is going to help a lot um well and and and here's the deal Enos ran this is my system I'm gonna run my system well bill bich made a career out of Bill belich won a lot of games with some crappy offensive lines at the Patriots there was a lot of times you know the Tom Brady won some super bowls with some centers and guards that could not block up the a gap and other teams were tearing them up but belich went get according to whatever defense he was playing they did whatever they needed to do with their offensive line there you know he would go into a game if he said my my offensive line can block the Run well in this game then we're going to run the ball 80 times this game and and and Brady would throw it 10 times some games well then other games he would throw it 80 times okay yeah because that was what it took and Enos and that's what patrino would do okay patrino is gonna do whatever it takes to defeat the defense he's going against and he's not so stuck into this is my system he's GNA make his system is going to work whether it's a his Line's able to block a guy or not okay if kimona can't block Perkins very well and guess what he's going to call plays where Perkins can't be as big of a problem and I don't think Enos was doing that last year and you can the it has to roll uphill to Pitman Pitman should have seen that he's been in football long enough he should have stepped in and said hey you know and and that maybe what he did finally you know Enos may have fought him and he may have finally did that when he fired him okay I don't know yeah well you heard Pitman say we just finally ran what we ran at practice and you remember I asked Mullins on here I said should the is it on the head coach to override him um and he goes well I should he shouldn't have to and it just seemed but it just seemed for whatever reason didn't click last year you can blame what it is it's got to click for the offense this year it has to be at least average I think the defense is going to be almost as good if not at least just as good as last year I I don't see a drop off on defense so I'm not worried about the defense man I'm I'll be honest with you the more I hear the defensive coaches talking and some of the players I'm excited about this defense man I'm excited about it have you heard excited about the entire team Travis there's College Football Saturday week zero here week zero here that's right college game day live from
