hey guys Apple has now officially released iOS 18 RC the release candidate is now available for download to developers and public beta testers now the download is close to 7 gigs of a download now as I always like to say with RC software this is overriding the entire operating system so you're not going to be losing six to seven gigs from your iPhone again this is overriding the entire OS keep in mind that iOS 18 RC stands for release candidate so this is basically the same software update that Apple will be releasing here in just a couple of days there is the latest bill number for iOS 18 RC 22A 3354 and Apple has officially confirmed the release date for iOS 18 so let me share that with you guys as previously predicted Apple will be releasing iOS 18 to everyone worldwide on Monday September the 16th right there it is now aside from IOS 18 Apple also released iPad OS 18 RC we also have Mac OS 15 RC TV OS 18 RC watch OS 11 RC Vision OS 2 RC and for those running iOS 17 17.7 RC and iPad OS 17.7 RC is now available now there's actually one change here for the camera within the latest OS so iOS 18 RC brings one change here to the camera of iPhone so let me place my iPhone down and let me show you how this works so when you start capturing video on iPhone you now get a pause button right there on the actual video so you can now pause video and then resume that video on your iPhone just like so so there is one change here for the camera with the latest IOS 18 RC and this is something that Apple did not mention prior because this was something that they wanted to announce with the announcement of the new iPhone 16 and 16 Pro earlier today but there is one change that you see there you can now pause video on the camera of your iPhone with iOS 18 RC now Apple plans to release this software a week from today so just keep in mind that once iOS 18 is officially released I'll be doing an entire video coverage of everything that's new I'm going to walk you guys through everything that's new and of course if Apple decides to release another RC which has happened in the past before Apple May release an RC too if there's any minor bugs or issues that need to be addressed before the official release next Monday September the 16th I'll make sure to let you guys know but in terms of changes right now the only thing is the new feature that allows you to pause video when capturing video on your iPhone with the latest RC aside from that this is basically completed iOS 18 is ready to go let me know if you're excited in those comments down below thank you for watching and I'll see you guys on the next one peace
