W another iPhone am I right so if you don't know what already happened today Apple hosted their annual September event for the nudest latest and greatest iPhones airpods Apple watch you name it now before even having this event and hearing about the rumors I was pretty much already betting on upgrading to the current iPhone I'm going to be coming out which of course now is the iPhone 16 and the 16 Pro this is my current phone this is an iPhone 12 Pro Max I've had it for about almost 4 years now coming up and I would like to say that this phone has pretty much held up really well I do think it's kind of time for something new I would love to use this more for iOS development and for videos in today's video I'm going to be going ahead and customizing my pre-order for what I want to get from my iPhone of course we can't have pre-orders because the devices aren't going to be a for pre-order until this Friday 13th and then of course available in store September 20th so I thought it'd be fun just to kind of walk over what I would want for my iPhone don't feel the need to upgrade but hey look I guess if I want to kind of look at the 16 Pros in the 16 I was very much surprised how much the 16 still resembles many great features for the price it is over the likes of the 16 Pro which of course you would have more features with actual camera upgrades and now the new camera action button which is now on both of the devices so it's like uh do you really need the 16 pros at this rate it's kind of crazy that think almost at the iPhone 20 like uh yeah um when of those memes from like years ago going to make sense now as mentions pre-order start the 13th which is this Friday and and looking at the models already you can already see like these phones are now even larger like the standard 16 Pros have 6.3 in displays and the Standard 12 16 Pro Max has a 6.9 in display and the bezels are incredibly thin on them now now this is a pro Max but um kind of considering the fact that now these phones start at 1,200 bucks for the pro Max I would like to maybe maybe go War 16 Pro we're going to go ahead with the 16 Pro Max and let's see these colors so this year's 16 Pros do introduce a desert titanium which replaces over the current Titanium or previous titanium color that was announced with the 15 Pro Models and just to kind of look over it it does still look like your standard gold and and then if you look at actual natural titanium it looks look just more of a saturated version of the desert titanium then of course you still have the white titanium and one of my very favorites is the black titanium color selection for me is just a little bit all over the place Flash here I did really do want natural titanium I saw it wasn't too impressed of it or wasn't too big of a fan of it desert titanium haven't seen it in person yet but it does look nice black titanium still very much on to the black titanium and I'm thinking I'm probably going to vot for the black titanium that's the winner here now for storage configurations the fact that these phones can go up to 100 ter of storage is great considering the fact that we Cann Now record these phones at 4K and 120 frames per second one terabyte does seem like a lot for me right now right now not going to do for that 512 lot for me still not going to do that unless you subscribe to the channel 256 it's a cheaper model 256 is not even that bad I barely even used 128 on this phone why not get 256 now as mention the trade in you can I can get about $300 off my current phone but I'm not trading that thing in so no you can buy the phone out right for $1,200 Finance it with $495 for 24 of a month yes I would love to have something on my credit again and then have either the Apple iPhone upgrade program for 5825 for 24 month now I was kind of skeptical for this program just because I was confused on if you really had to upgrade your phone like every year to get to stay on this program but apparently it's a thing of an options so who doesn't like options so more than likely I would have go for the iPhone upgrade program which immediately comes with Apple Care I found out and I would have to select it for T-Mobile because I have to so awesome so now our total right now is $33.98 with Finance what the that's a good rent right there your new iPhone 16 Pro Max just the way you want it now we can go ahead and get ready for a pre-order and let's make sure that everything is good to go oh um show so it's kind of confusing the color is quite nice as you can see the side has Ace all right so I've gone ahead and set up for the iPhone upgrade program loan now since you're not going to be able to actually check out this phone until Thursday or sorry Friday let's go ahead and look at some accessor now Apple has made the decision to drop the fine woven cases just because people had over the time had complained with them with the 15s and Apple has not made also the commitment to having a replacement to them and they're definitely not trying to go back to leather so unfortunately the only options of cases we have from Apple are of course their clear cases and those silicon Max sa cases let's see like anything from some anyone else that's not too bad that's not too bad I heard beats is making a case for iPhones now I'm like when did they start doing that we got some screen protectors here I don't see any of that there let's see anything else we about to hit the iPhone 6es no okay let's go back all right so I was looking at some sides like some ad din that's a FIA okay Lake green don't really like okay that's not too bad I'll probably get that what is that that's the color I want that they have in a 16 that I wish they had for the pros that I would have got that color instead but no Stone gray nah Plum I've had a plum case before no black eh denim nah I'm okay and I've had an apple clear case in the past and I would like to say that they do not actually yellow they've actually done a good job making sure these things are always clear unfortunately with clear cases they are super nasty they just collect dust and it just never looks good in my opinion oh damn now kind of wonder if I wanted that new color looking at these beats cases as well um these aren't bad too bad looking cases they don't have more colors though damn like really it's like if they had a leather case I would have gotten a leather case but H I'm kind of mad they got rid of woven I think I'm going to go with the blue I'm really confident by it I I do like it all right I have ordered the case and I thought about it when I was like maybe I want to order the case when I actually pre-order the phone but then when people pre-order the phone it would actually be back ordered and I wouldn't have a case and a phone to unbox so I've just decided to also pre-order a case and it be here sometime this week when I'm home so with that comes we'll have a case in a phone to in a box and hopefully we'll be able to enjoy the phone now kind of just speaking on some stuff with these iPhones I did say that I am not really too impressed with these upgrades over the likes of my 12 I still think that the 12 itself is a great phone the only thing is that I would like something newer and I am an iOS Developer so for applications where I want to might use let's say Dynamic island or some other features within these phones especially with apple intelligence I need a physical device that I can actually test and and why not instead of just keeping a physical device to test on I can also keep it but it is finally nice to be a part of the actual pre-order party and be able to pre-order an iPhone which I've never been able to do and just reward myself for my internship this past summer will you be buying the iPhone 16 will you be buying the iPhone 16 Pro or the 16 Pro Max or will you not be buying anything at all let me know down in the comments I'm definitely curious to see what people think about these latest iPhones especially airpods and apple watches that were also announced just because people have mentioned that these upgrades were a little bit more lackluster and I'm curious to see what people think did I make a stupid decision did I make the right decision you know who knows so um when this phone gets here and want to box it I'll make that determination myself and
