What has transpired here at the first Bank center here in Denve, Colorado? It wasn't just a big night of fights. It was a big night of memorable moments. Conor McGregor with us here in Denver, Colorado. The left hand from Rockwell. Right hand. Right back from Rick Perry. And right now three. And oh in BKFC. Can I get a face off with Conor McGregor? Man, that'd be. It's an incredible setup here. Incredible matchmaking, incredible storytelling. All you had to come here, all these fighters that step in here are warriors and all have my respec. And I'm into this game. Yeah, we'll be into this. Yeah And we are live here in the Maverik Center here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Folks. What a night. It is going to be historic indeed for UFC 56. Whoever's the king of violence right here, this is going to be a great fight. Carry on. The tag of four. Right hand, right hand for Mike. Public defender. Who's the king of violent air combat fighting in its purest form. Bare knuckle fighting in the city of Angels. 80s remaining round number one. Talking bout what is it? We've got the biggest announcement in the BKFC history. We're about to make. So let's make that announcement. What's up? Knuckle mania? The notorious Conor McGregor here. Ladies and gentlemen, the huge announcement that I have for you today, Conor McGregor, myself and McGregor Sports and Entertainment is now an owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Welcome to the big leagues, David Feldman. Baby. We did it. He's now an owner of BKFC with us. And we're going to take this thing all the way to the top. Oh, yeah. It's time to rise and grind. Absolutely. On this Wednesday morning, it is September 4th, which means we are one day away from NFL action in Kansas City. That would be the Chiefs and the Ravens kicking off the season. And oh my goodness it feels like Christmas Eve today. An action packed show over the next three hours I'm Donny right side. And as usual on Wednesdays during football season it's dubs Anderson I'm feeling refreshed. I'm feeling ready. It was a great show yesterday. Dubs to start the week. Now we sit here one day away from kickoff in the NFL. How are we feeling out there? It's finally here Donnie. I feel like I've been banging my head against the locker. I want to run out there. I want to put the cleats on and you know, it's football season when Taylor Swift is scheming up a couple of plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. That will do me, but plenty of great baseball over the next couple of hours. A couple of look backs to what we saw last night, some special performances. And what about the US open tennis? It is really starting to fire up out there at Flushing Meadows. It is. I love it. September, October, November dubs my favorite months of the year. The weather starts to cool down, the football action heats up before I see like tweets out here. We're like 45 or 50 days away from college basketball season, the NBA season. It is a great time, but you know what time it is now for the seven and seven, the hottest topics across the sports landscape, which we get down right here on the early line each and every morning with. And we will start with Major League Baseball. I'm a Philadelphia Phillies fan. I checked out 6 to 1 first inning. It looks like the Phillies dead on arrival, but Kyle Schwarber had five hits yesterday, which included a single, a double and three home runs to power the Philadelphia Phillies to a 10 to 9 comeback victory yesterday over the blue Jays. What a performance by the Schwarber guy. Somebody say Schwarber bomb for your Tuesday night. Three home runs for the Phillies in that big comeback victory. I tell you what now three in a row sitting up top of the National League East. This was a big performance. We can expect this from Kyle Schwarber. He's been doing it all season carrying that offense with a stunning comeback from behind victory. There So well done for the Phillies and well done for Kyle Schwarber. They are going to need that. Making that push towards October Donnie crazy dubs like they had to get that comeback in here. By the way did you know there were four of 19 with runners in scoring position. So they scored ten times, which is great. But quite frankly, dubs probably should have scored 15 in that game. But a nice comeback victory for the Philadelphia Phillies holding off the Atlanta Braves there in the East. But if we take a look on the West Coast, the best team overall record wise in the National League, it's the Los Angeles Dodgers. And how about this a 6 to 2 victory yesterday over the Los Angeles Angels. It did take ten innings. And it took four runs in the top of the 10th inning here for the Dodgers to win 84th win on the season, beating down the Los Angeles Angels. Yeah, it's quite the showdown out here on the West Coast. It was a nice welcome return for Showtime. Ohtani getting back to Angel Stadium. But it was actually all about Mookie Betts. Mookie has been struggling to see him since coming back there from injury. Three run home run to seal this thing in the 10th. They ultimately go on to get the job done. 6 to 2. Ohtani was strong enough getting an RBI triple there, so for the Dodgers, this is what they need a bit of momentum. Would we think it play out any other way? Ohtani going back to where he once made that that that jersey quite synonymous with the big fella. Yeah. Said he was happy to return back home. Got a nice ovation there and rightfully so by the way you got a pretty good pitching performance out of Detmers there for the angels. Six innings pitched, only three hits allowed, two earned runs and ten strikeouts to sort of shut down that Dodgers offense until he got the extra innings. And Walker Buehler, which might be one of the keys to the Dodgers winning the world Series, solid performance last night on his return back to the mound here as he continues to find his way. Five innings pitched and two earned runs. If we keep it moving around baseball, these races are certainly heating up and one of the best races we might find over the final couple of weeks of the season. It's the Al East. Yesterday, the Yankees took it on the chin, going up against the Rangers, a 7 to 4 loss which included a devastating Grand slam when in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Rangers over the Yankees here. How about that one? Yeah, Wyatt Lankford coming up big with the walk off slam 7 to 4 over the pinstripes. And I believe he got it over 407 there out to left field for his 10th dinger for the season. And you highlighted there Donnie this is massive in the American League East. It's now the Orioles sitting up top of the division. So for the Rangers big showing there to rally late in that one. But again for the pinstripes the Yankees not good enough. And this is the inconsistency which scares us off as we put eyes towards the playoffs. No it certainly does. We'll see. I still think the Yankees are going to end up winning the Al East, but those are games that you must win in devastating losses. You'll see how you can respond they next day, and we'll see if the Yankees can do that. Talk about responses here in the US open. This is played the US open obviously played in the United States in America here, but very rarely does see do we get Americans in tennis in the men's bracket advancing this deep. And we got two of them. How about Frances Tiafoe and also Taylor Fritz advancing into the semifinal in all American semifinal. Grab your popcorn. This will be in theaters coming up on Friday afternoon. Tiafoe going against the big hitting Taylor Fritz. Tiafoe got the walk in. Yeah. His opponent came down with an injury. Taylor Fritz was very impressive over Zverev. And I tell you what we guaranteed of seeing an American male going into the final of a Grand Slam. This is the first time in 18 years we're turning the clock back. It feels like I'm watching Andre Agassi taking on Pete Sampras. But no, it is. Tiafoe and Fritz squaring off in a semifinal at the US Open on Friday guarantees an American into the final. And again, as W said, we haven't seen that in quite some time. We'll see if they can take down a championship would be flat out amazing and also at a major underdog price. Take a look at the WNBA last night, four games on the slate. You saw the storm invade the sun in Connecticut and come away with an upset victory 71 to 64. The mystics 90 points over the wings, who only scored 86. And by the way, both of those teams playing in that game dobbsie only nine wins apiece, bringing up the rear in the WNBA. The Sky got hammered by the aces last night, 90 to 71, which included A'ja Wilson 30 points and 14 rebounds far and away the best player in the WNBA. She's going to take down that MVP award and the Mercury 74 to 66 over the dream. An exciting night last night in the W. Yeah it really was. The aces continue to put up points clocking up 90 there last night. The biggest upset for me was the storm going into Connecticut to get redemption over the Sunday. I thought the sun at four and a half point favorites should have got the score. They just couldn't deliver. And I'll tell you what, with eyes towards the playoffs in the W, they're getting underway on the 22nd of September. The Indiana Fever, who will feature in the one game later this afternoon. They've ultimately punched their ticket to play a bit of playoff basketball. So well done to Caitlin Clark. And the fever will get to see them a little later. We also get to see him playing in the postseason, so great stuff Donny. Absolutely coming down the stretch there in the W setting up that playoff format. Going to be ultra exciting to see who wins that WNBA championship. Back over to the NFL. Tying up some loose ends here a lot of guys still looking for new contracts and extensions here. And teams willing to give it to great football players, which includes Cam Heyward of the Pittsburgh Steelers, three years, $45 million, $29 million in new money and $16 million fully guaranteed, Cam Heyward said here Dobbsie. He wanted to be a one helmet guy and looks like that only helmet he's going to wear in a Pittsburgh Steelers uniform. Yeah, you love to see that Cam Heyward finally agreeing to terms. They're coming back for his 14th season. The big interior defensive lineman. It will be his 10th season coming back here as a captain. You look at some of the numbers. Truly remarkable stuff really only puts him behind some pretty elite company in T.J. Watt there. So the Steelers get another piece to the puzzle. I tell you what, it doesn't get any clearer coming into week one, but this is certainly going to be it in terms of the confidence there in the locker room. And Cam Heyward you look at the numbers. There was a bit of injury there last year but there's been no drop off. He can still do it with the best of them. Yeah they're going to need that defense here this season if they want to make the playoffs. And certainly keep mike Tomlin's 500 or better streak alive. We'll see if they can do that. Let's head over to college football. The AP top 25 poll was released. We have the preseason poll. We had week zero, which obviously only a couple games. They didn't release a new poll, so we had to wait till the end of week number one. And it sits as Georgia and Ohio State at the top of the standings. No surprises, but the biggest movers of the week USC and Miami up ten and seven spots, respectively. Yeah USC big, big performance there earlier this week. The biggest drop off the biggest for Florida State. The Seminoles. Are we really shocked. You go oh and two was a ten point favorite in that opener. You get home to a league foe in the second and still not good enough in terms of the big threats. They all did the job, but it was Florida State that was that was the big exclamation mark. What a couple of losses they've put together. So great to have college football back in the mix Tony. And if the season ended today USC that 13th number, their 13th ranking would be just outside of that top 12, which is secured by the Miami Hurricanes. Obviously, a lot of changes will be made. It's the early line on a Wednesday morning. Let's get you caught up on Major League Baseball next. Anyone that's been to a sporting event, the atmosphere before a game. I think game time decisions has that same exact atmosphere. This is our arena. This is what we do. There is going to be an energy to game time decision that you will feel night in and night out. The excitement you get when you when you lock your bets in, when you're figuring out what you want to do, we can zone in on the biggest games each night. I want this to be the place that people come to before the game starts, so they feel as ready as possible to lock in their cards. We are going to hit every single one of those markets that you need to know about. We're going to go through every single thing and I've got a great team behind me that's going to help me get the job done. There is not going to be a better place, I promise you, than game time decisions to get that new information, react to it and be able to then bet accordingly. We will have everything at our disposal and we will use that to our advantage. I'm Kevin Walsh, tune in to game time decisions from 6 to 8 p.m. eastern on sports Gri. Try and set the stage for what should be a great year of NFL action. There's a handful of teams that potentially can compete for a Super Bowl championship. Confusion and uncertainty this year, more than some in the past, this team looks like it's ready to make a move, but we just don't know if it's bad or good this year, J.J. McCarthy is eventually going to take over, but it's like it's a no lose situation for them. I mean, they suck. They were seven only on Sports Grid. Let's go. Welcome to the Liv golf team Championship. The golf has been mesmerizing. They are the Liv golf team champions. Team golf is back. Oh yes. Are you ready? Let's go. That's what champions do. Welcome back into the early line. Happy Wednesday dubs Anderson alongside Donny. Right side. And we're taking it to the diamond. Look back to the Tuesday slate. It was the Cleveland Guardians coming up big over the Kansas City Royals 7 to 1. Tanner Bibee fanned six there over Kansas City. And Donny the Slump continues for the Royals. And this is not the time of year to be going through one seven on the bounce. They've managed to lose. Yeah this is crazy. Like usually in gambling right. Dubs the seven is usually a great number 777 hits your jackpot seven on the opening roll gets you paid in craps here. But seven for the Guardians means that's a loss for the Kansas City Royals. And that means dubs seven losses in a row. This is a team that we take a look at for the Kansas City Royals and say to ourselves, they are a playoff made team. They've earned the right entering in September to sort of coast to the finish line. What do you mean by coast would be is let's just play 500 baseball. Nobody's probably going to be able to catch us, but now you see them with seven straight losses and every loss that piles up, you start to get that little bit of that energy vibe taken away from that locker room. And the struggles come out to see yesterday handicapping this game, I thought singer was the better pitcher on the mound, but he wasn't bad by any stretch here. Dubs five and two thirds innings pitched five hits, two earned runs. That's a quality start that keeps your team in the ball game. But he was one upped by Bobby six innings pitched only one earned run yesterday, and the bullpen fell out for the Kansas City Royals. So many times we saw this year that bullpen hanging on, starting pitching, whatever. But that lineup, one through nine for the Royals has always come to play. Bobby with junior once again, two hits in three at bats, 340 average, but not a lot of help behind him or quite frankly, in front of him here last night. Tough loss for the Royals. And as I said, every loss that piles up now that pressure begins to build and build because they still have a lead in the wild card. If the season ended today, they would be in. But boy, if you keep on losing and maybe extend this to ten games here, that panic is really going to settle in. I thought they'd win yesterday. They got hammered. Yeah. Red Sox in four and a half games. Back on the outside looking in towards that wild card spot. Let's take it across to New York. The Mets were playing host to the Boston Red Sox. It was the Mets going off as favorites in this one. And they deliver in big fashion. 7 to 2. They get the chocolates. And what about the starting arms in this matchup? Crawford fans eight there for the Red Sox David Peterson with 11 strikeouts Donnie 19 between them yeah fantastic performance I said yesterday the Mets would win this game. And they did bece I thought the Mets had the better pitcher on the mound and a better matchup at the plate. But if you would have told me before the game, Crawford was going to go six innings pitched, two hits and two earned runs, as you said said you know what? This game might be a little bit closer than we thought, but then you take a look at Peterson on the mound who was spectacular six innings pitched and 11 strikeouts, only giving up one run over six hits, spraying those around. That's exactly what you wanted to see. And also making the most of your opportunities for the Mets. They're trying to hang in there. We saw yesterday the Atlanta Braves like a -350 favorite. You knew they were going to win their game and they did. So it's up to the Mets to sort of hold serve and stay in there. And also runners in scoring position. The Mets only got three of them there but drove two of those in, which is ultra impressive as well. So 7 to 2. The Mets continue to play great baseball. And how about Francisco Lindor two of four yesterday. Another home run three RBI lifting his average to 273 on the season. Playing his best baseball here. Dubs at the right time as well. Yeah Freddy Lindor consistent performer going through the season. We're talking about consistency. What about my guy Chris Sale for the Atlanta Braves will keep it with the National League. Here it was the Braves at home in the ATL. They get it done in a low scorer three to nothing over the Colorado Rockies for Chris Sale. It's his 16th win. Reaches 200 KS for the first time since 2019. Donnie. This was a special performance. Yeah setting back the clock, man. Remember the guy that came over from the White Sox initially to go with the Boston Red Sox? The best pitcher in baseball, one of the more dominant lefties we've seen over the past 1 to 2 decades here. And then it sort of fell apart. Injuries took place. The Atlanta Braves said, you know what? We'll take him off the scrap heap at a cheap price. And now they're getting the best pitcher, maybe in baseball right now. At this point, Chris Sale has been nothing short of phenomenal. All those injuries that have stacked up on the Braves this season, he's been that one shining light there that has been continuously every fifth day to dominate on the mound. Seven innings pitched yesterday, six hits against him, no earned runs. Drops his ERA to 2.46. And how about his record on the season 16 and three. Absolutely phenomenal. And by the way, Freeland, who I didn't think is a very good pitcher here. But away from Cora, sometimes you get the benefit of the doubt because obviously we know it's much harder to pitch in cause he was great. Five innings pitched, only one earned run to keep his team in that ball game. But that offense outside of Coors tends to struggle. And it certainly did yesterday. The Atlanta Braves, if they can make it to the playoffs and hold off the New York Mets, they got a one, two, three punch in that rotation that may be able to tangle with anybody that they line up against. Well, Tony, myt question taking a look at the standings. It's the Dodgers. Brewers at the top of their respective divisions in the National League for the wild card standings. It's the Padres, Diamondbacks and Braves holding those three spots. The Mets are just a half game back, followed by the cubbies there at four and a half, and they've been playing some strong baseball over the last couple of weeks. So from the teams right on the margin there, right on the cusp, the Braves Mets who would have that firepower to contend with some of the big hitters in the division usually dubs you take a look at the playoffs and it's not so much about your one through nine. Now, granted, you want to have as many superstars in the lineup that you can have like the Phillies and the Dodgers have, but it's really about that pitching rotation because playoff baseball is no longer typically 7 to 6 games, right? It's 3 to 2 games. It's can you get five solid innings out of a dominant starter and then hand it off to a quality bullpen. So that's why you take a look at the Atlanta Braves. I don't think they have enough firepower once they get to the playoffs to win baseball games. But again, firepower, meaning can you get to 4 or 5 runs to win those baseball games? Because if the Phillies are throwing out Aaron, Nola and Wheeler, and you're going to counter with Reynaldo Lopez Schwellenbach and also Chris Sale, you got a chance in every one of those games here, which is why you look at the Los Angeles Dodgers, maybe the best one through nine in baseball superstars across the board. But we start to look at a little bit of those question marks on the Dodgers and say, how is that playoff rotation going to set up? Who is going to actually be their guy? Because if I'm looking at just the power rotations in the National League, it's actually in the NL East here with the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves. Those are the two teams that if they both make the playoffs, which it looks like the Phillies will, and the Braves should be able to hang on with that staff. Those are the two teams I actually don't want to tangle with. And having said that, the Dodgers, the Padres and the Diamondbacks all formidable opponents here. But I do think the top end rotation pitching here in the National League East, those are the teams that are probably going to succeed here. Once we get to the playoffs. And it's crazy to say that because I don't think the Braves should be doing damage here. But if they're going to continue to win baseball games and get great pitching, why not the Atlanta Braves doing something in September and October? There it is, Donny. Right side standing off the Braves could be the team to watch. It's the Orioles leading the way in the American League. The Dodgers up top of the NL and at best it's the Pirates. Of course it's Pittsburgh. We're taking a quick break on the other side. We're looking back Paul Stein's day for the Pirates and how it played out. Anyone that's been to a sporting event, the atmosphere before a game, I think game time decisions has that same exact atmosphere. This is our arena. This is what we do. There is going to be an energy to game time decision that you will feel night in and night out. The excitement you get when you when you lock your bets in, when you're figuring out what you want to do, we can zone in on the biggest games each night. Welcome to the live golf team championship. The golf has been mesmerizing. They are the Liv golf team champions. Team golf is back. Oh, yes. Are you ready? Let's go. That's what champions do. We're keeping up with Major League Baseball. Welcome back into the early line dubs Anderson alongside Donny right side. And you know it's always going to be a great day if you're a Pirates fan. And you see Paul Skenes out there on the hill. And that's what we saw yesterday afternoon. The Pirates get it done. Five to nothing over the Cubs and Donnie. The Cubs have been playing some pretty strong baseball, but going up against one of the young, strong phenom arms in the game. And by the way, you're right. The Cubs at the plate have been absolutely on fire for the past two weeks here. But that also reminds us that when you run into a dominant pitcher, great pitching usually beats great hitting. And yesterday you saw that as well in a five to nothing victory for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Now the shame of it all is you take a look at Paul Skenes yesterday. Five innings pitched, four hits, no earned runs given up, six strikeouts, 100 pitches here and a 2.13 ERA. Yesterday I said to myself, you know, he's probably going to get around the sixth inning with 100 pitches and the Pirates would have the lead, which they did yesterday. But do you want to risk by not taka first five innings wager and go with the full game, where the bullpen might be able to give it up against a hot Chicago lineup that didn't happen yesterday. The bullpen was very good for the Pittsburgh Pirates and an easy victory. Here's the issue with us, right, because we want to see Paul Skenes down the stretch. Heck, we might even saw Paul Skenes in some playoff baseball if we were thinking about a month ago. But that win yesterday, which gives the Pittsburgh Pirates two in a row, they're still in dead last place in the NL central at 65 and 73. So the questions are going to come up as we get to Paul Skenes in a moment. How long he's going to pitch. But those are the type of performances that you look at for the Pirates and say, man, if this kid can pitch full seasons and stay healthy, how dominant he can actually be. It was on full display yesterday against a very good Cubs lineup. They get the shutout victory in Pittsburgh and take a look at the numbers that we've seen from Paul Skenes truly remarkable season. The boyfriend of Libby Dunn that he is putting together here. This question marks and how much more we will see going through the next month or so. But take a look at the betting side of things. National League Rookie of the year. This award was done and dusted at the break. Donnie Paul Skenes was minus 1200 to take out rookie of the year honors. If you take a look at the FanDuel sports book, now, it's Jackson Merrill with the Padres at -900. Absolutely unbackable in its skenes at plus 700. So it's too late to jump back in for this award. But what has been such a drastic change? Because I feel like Paul Skenes has still been performing at a very high clip for the Pirates. Is it a matter of seeing Jackson Merrill out there on the daily, on the nightly? And I guess the consistency that we've seen from the Padres? Exactly. I always call it getting those extra credit points here dubs. And what I mean by that is you're playing in big moments on a night to night basis and delivering. And Jackson Merrill has been doing that with the Padres, who are fighting for a playoff spot. The shame of it is we wanted to see Paul Skenes here down the stretch in the month of September, in games where the Pirates had to win to sort of get into that wild card race and maybe be a factor down the stretch, which is no longer there. But you saw that graphic up there nine and two on the season, an ERA of 2.13. And you say in your mind, like in what season, year or millennium is this guy not t the rookie of the year? With those statistics here and also looking at the FanDuel sports book at the odds themselves, you're right. Paul Skenes was almost a shoo in for rookie of the year. Paul Skenes was in the top three in the race to win the Cy Young Award. Now things have changed since then, but who would have thought would still a month left to go in baseball? Jackson Merrill is a -900 price to take down the National League Rookie of the year. Because you know what's happening Dobbsie. We are almost expecting Paul Skenes to not pitch much longer in this Major League Baseball season. And Jackson Merrill, the Padres to continue to play in high leverage situations on a night to night basis as the Padres fight for maybe the outside chance of winning the NL West, but more importantly, just making it into the playoffs. No shame in Paul Skenes game. He is a great pitcher. He should have a phenomenal career moving forward, but it is kind of crazy to see Jackson Merrill a -900 price this Wednesday morning at the FanDuel Sports Book to win the NL rookie of the year. And Donnie that is the right play from the Pirates. You've got a unicorn in Paul Skenes. He's at such a young spot in his career, there is absolutely no reason to have him out there at the tail end of this season. There's nothing on the line, nothing to play for. We're trying to look towards the next five, ten years. So obviously the oddsmakers telling us everything that we need to know. Paul Skenes that production may dwindle over the next coming few weeks there. But for Jackson Merrill, another superstar down there in San Diego. But let's take it across to Milwaukee. The Brewers were at home last night going against the Cardinals. It took 12 innings to decide a winner in this one, but it was the Cardinals ultimately getting the score. There 7 to 4. Some strong starting pitching again here. Mets fans seven for the cards. And it was also Savala striking out seven there for the Brewers. Donnie yeah long game and also the reason why I did go long is because both of these teams were struggling with runners in scoring position. You take a look here at the Saint Louis Cardinals three of 12. You take a look at the Milwaukee Brewers two of 11 overall. Nice win by the Cardinals I don't think they're going to be able to get back into that playoff picture. But the countdown is going to be on Milwaukee. Just get right for the playoffs here. They have a good recipe that can do some damage. Once we get to October. Fun times in baseball. See playoff push continues. We're taking a break. Plenty more coming up on the other side. Stick with us. Anyone that's been to a sporting event, the atmosphere before a game, I think game time decisions has that same exact atmosphere. This is our arena. This is what we do. There is going to be an energy to game time decision that you will feel night in and night out. Welcome to the live golf team championship. The golf has been mesmerizing. They are the Liv golf team champions. Tem golf is back. Oh, yes. Are you ready? Let's go. That's what champions do. Stubbs and Donnie in the mornin, right here on a Wednesday. We are one day away from the NFL start of the season. But you know who's already been underway week zero and week number one. Yes, that's college football. And my goodness I'm telling you I don't know if it's just me being a Miami fan watching them absolutely go to the swamp and drain the swamp and smash the Gators. I enjoyed it that much. But love the fact that we had Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday college football. And those games were delivering. So the AP top 25 poll delivered to us yesterday. And if we do look at the top of the standings, not much change here, right? Georgia, Ohio Stat, Texas, Alabama, Notre Dame, a couple of those teams moving up slightly and rightfully so. But if we start with the top, just Georgia and Ohio State, 57 first place votes went to Georgia, five for Ohio State. So those two teams here with those, what, 62 total votes are up top of the standings. Do we agree. And again, there shouldn't be much change Georgia hammered Clemson Ohio State with their easy victory. But Georgia playing a highly ranked opponent they deserve to be number one in my eyes. Dubs. How about you. Yeah they made a mockery of the Clemson Tigers and we knew they were going to be motivated to start a new season. You win 42 of the last 44, but it wasn't good enough to make it into the college football playoffs. Carson Beck, he delivered put up some fantastic numbers there. So I thought they were the I guess, the most impressive out of the out of the big squads. They're coming in for week one. So absolutely Georgia you look at the odds. That's telling us the same story. It's going to take a lot to sort of derail that ship, but with a bit of extra motivation. Fantastic to see them up on top. I thought Texas, the Longhorns with Quinn Ewers, they were very, very strong in their performance and don't sleep on on good Ole Jalen Milroe and Bama. I know there's no Nick Saban at the helm, but I tell you what, they look like every bit of the power force that we've seen over the last decade. So that was the common theme for me through week one. Donny I thought we saw everything we needed to from the big programs. There was a couple of outliers. I thought USC probably came up with with the most impressive victory over LSU. Then I tell you what, Lincoln Riley absolutely needed that to get a bit of confidence. And as we touched on a little earlier in the show there, the Seminoles, they were probably the biggest disappointment through the first two weeks. The disaster in Dublin, it carried across back in here for week one. That wasn't good enough. And we've seen that with them being the first first ranked team prior to the season. Now dropping out of that top 25. Yeah, we take a look at that six through ten here in the rankings here Ole Miss one and oh absolutely hammered job on Furman. That was supposed to do. But always impressive to see some of those scores get the 5060 and 70 points. You take a look at Oregon which had a really interesting dub C final score 24 to 14. Despite a ton of yards for the Oregon Ducks, they also now in the Big Ten. Take a look at Penn State with a great victory over West Virginia. That line at closing 7 to 7 and a half depending on where you were shopping at. Easily dismantling of the West Virginia mountaineers. And you take a look at Missouri and Michigan winding up the top ten, which is interesting to me because the national champion last year were the Michigan Wolverines. They did win by three touchdowns. They were favored by about three touchdowns. But I came away from that football game because it was a six point game in the fourth quarter, questioning Michigan just a little bit more. Now granted, they won easily. Did you have any issues with Michigan's win over Fresno State or. Hey, look, game number one decent opponent handled their business and they're going to move forward. No, I'm looking around and saying, look, if you want to be a genuine contender, you probably should put a little 50 spot. And that's what we can expect going against a couple of the cupcakes, maybe the Fresno State Bulldogs, just that they came to play with a bit more bark in that bite. But tell you what, for the Wolverines, if they didn't get a test in week one, guess who's coming to town here for week two? Texas grabbing seven Lions, seven and a half points going into Ann Arbor this certainly looks to be the game of the week for mine, so we'll see what they're really made of. This is a much sterner test than what they got from Fresno State's. Absolutely licking the chops for this one. Nine 9:09 a.m. Pacific this Saturday morning. Donny, this is going to be the marquee matchup. I love that too. And I think it's probably one of those big noon Fox games, which I do appreciate from Fox, where you don't have to wait all day. 337 3930 to watch some of these big games. That will be a fun one to watch right off the bat. Let's take a look at teams 12 and 13 in the polls, because they were the two highest risers of the week, the Miami Hurricanes moved up seven spots and USC moved up ten spots. Let's take the hurricanes first here. Dobbsie on what they did. Came into the season ranked 19th. All eyes on the prize for Mario Cristobal. You've been there a couple of years. We're ready to turn the tide. You get cam Ward out of the nil market there in the transfer portal. He comes alive in the swamp. He was sensational. And now you're saying, hey, you know what is Miami back at this time? Can they make it into the college football playoffs? They've never won an ACC championship since coming over from the Big East, which is astounding just to think about that. But Miami looks the part right now. And other teams in the ACC, whether it be Clemson or Florida State with their struggles, are we believing in the Miami Hurricanes now? The 12th ranked team in college football? Yeah, I'm buying into it. I mean, out of all the games in week one, this one probably had the most juice for the hurricanes to go into the swamp down there in Gainesville and get it done over the Gators. I tell you what, it wasn't even close 41 to 17 once it was all said and done. And they've got their guy, cam Ward, throwing for over 380 passing yards with three touchdowns. I thought that was very impressive. If they can build on that, get a bit more confidence, a bit more momentum, suddenly it's looking like the Miami of old. For the Florida Gators. The pressure continues to mount. That is not how you want to start the season at home. I thought they'd show a little more fight. They got behind early there from the jump, and they just couldn't find a way to get back into that one. So on the defensive side of things for the Gators, they're going to have to address that if they want to get back in the mix here. Yeah. By the way they came into the season the Florida Gators with a win total of four and a half. Now look I understand how tough that schedule is. But it's just so odd to see a perennial power saying you know what if you win five games this season, which means you won't make a bowl game, that's a quality season based on Las Vegas standards here. It's just wild to actually think about that. Now, if we do take a look at the 13th team in the poll, which was the highest riser of the week from 23 up to 13, it was USC Miller Moss was fantastic in that game. A comeback victory over LSU in a neutral site game in Las Vegas, which was exciting. The fan bases were incredible. The game played out probably should have more points overall because these two teams moved it up and down the field, but I was so impressed with USC from a defensive perspective because the one thing we know about them, they'll put up points on offense with Lincoln Riley, the question marks have always been on defense, and it looks like they righted the ship a bit. USC heading over into the Big Ten. Usually we talk about Oregon right. Dubs as hey that's going to be the perennial contender in the Big Ten now. No it looks like USC has arrived here. And a massive win over an SEC opponent. Yeah. And I'll put the hand up Donnie I didn't see this one coming. I thought they were going to get bullied by that SEC opponent there with the Tigers. I believe we had more people on site than than what we saw for the Super Bowl out there in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium. But that's that's 100% what I was looking for. How would the defense turn back for this Lincoln Riley? We know he can get that offense going. Miller Moss he looked fantastic to finish off last season. There for the Trojans. He shows up with a big performance. But to keep the Tigers to 20 and really throw them off their rhythm for the entirety of that game. If you're USC, you'll take a lot of confidence from this matchup. And for the Tigers, you know not not great from what we saw, Brian Kelly after the game a little immature if you ask me. But for LSU they're still gonna have plenty of chances to turn this thing around. That is the beauty of not having the extended playoffs, I guess. You know, with the 12 teams making it through to the big dance there. So great for USC. They're the biggest jump into the top 25. Biggest mover up the top 25. I should say. And for the Tigers not the start. They were looking for. But this really felt like a bowl game. I thought this was fantastic at the neutral site to get such a big showing, and I think a lot of confidence taken out here from the West Coast Warriors. Yeah, the rest of the falls out Tennessee, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, LSU, Kansas and Arizona in that top 20. Clemson barely hanging on for getting cracked by Georgia in the 25th spot. And obviously Florida State now. Oh, and two has fallen out completely there. But if we do flip it over to the national championship odds, which are going to change on a week to week basis, absolutely. Georgia still sits at the favorite at a plus 270 price, followed by Ohio State plus 450 Texas, Oregon, Alabama, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Penn State and now Miami, who is around a 60 to 1 price here. Dub si down to 22 to 1. Good times ahead here and a great betting market there. Yeah I mean you're still getting Bama at quite the price. I think that's the value pick up for me going into week two. And on the individual standouts, I tell you what Dillon Gabriel for, for Oregon, he once he got it going with that offense. Watch out. He could arguably be Bo Nix 2.0. The upside is there in bunches. So for the ducks fans a lot to like from what we saw there last weekend. A lot to like in college football. And it's just starting up as week number two on deck here and away we go. We'll see who makes it into that top 12 into the playoff race at the end of the season we got some NFL topics to hit, which include the bodyguard of the San Francisco 49 ers. He got paid yesterday or the Niners the best team in the NFC. Come on back. Let's talk about it. Anyone that's been to a sporting event the atmosphere before a game I think game time decisions has that same exact atmosphere. This is our arena. This is what we do. There is going to be an energy to game time decisions that you will feel night in and night out, the excitement you get when you when you lock your bets in, when you're figuring out what you want to do. We can zone in on the biggest games each night. I want this to be the place that people come to before the game start, so they feel as ready as possible to lock in their cards. We are going to hit every single one of those markets that you need to know about. We're going to go through every single thing, and I've got a great team behind me that's going to help me get the job done. There is not going to be a better place, I promise you, than game time decisions to get that new information, react to it and be able to then bet accordingly. We will have everything at our disposal and we will use that to our advantage. I'm Kevin Walsh, tune in to game time decisions from 6 to 8 p.m. eastern on Sports Grid. Rock and roll. And our number one right here on the early line. It's Dubs and Donny in the morning. And typically dubs. We're sitting here on a Wednesday. You know yesterday was Tuesday. Typically Friday is payday but not for the San Francisco 49 ers. Superstar left tackle Trent Williams. It's reported it's yesterday a three year restructured contract $82.66 million deal $48 million. Wired to his bank account. The minute he put his name on that bottom line or excuse me, $25 million wired, but 48 million. That's going to be guaranteed for him via that signing bonus. And also long term guarantees. Here's what I want to talk about here Trent Williams yes, he is aging here. The San Francisco 49 ers obviously want to win a Super Bowl. They could not risk playing the New York Jets defense without their best offensive lineman. He knew that as a player the team knew it as a general manager. They came to an agreement here. And the big boy is back on the field. Superstar Trent Williams will be there to fend off those New York Jets attackers. Yeah, I mean, rightfully so, right? 36 years of age. He's not getting any younger. You've always got that chance of injury and health. He had no guaranteed money going over the next three seasons. He's been sitting around the last couple of months watching players with not even a 10th of the resume that he holds getting the bag over him. So he's saying, hey, I know my worth in this league. I know my worth for the San Francisco 40 niners. And they understand in that building they know the championship window is right here. It's right now you've got Brock Purdy on a basement bargain kind of deal. We don't know how much longer that's going to go for. You've got your wide receivers for what another year two years. So look this is a great a great move here Trent Williams is certainly worth every single bit of it. $48 million in guaranteed money. So great stuff there for the big fella. You look at the career 11 time Pro Bowler. I mean he is up there with the absolute very best of them for the 40 niners. They do hold the best roster in football. I think that is the consensus. And now they get set to play the Jets on Monday night. So I think this is great stuff Donny. And absolutely worth every penny. Yeah I'm with you dubs. Pound for pound I like to say like but position by position offense and defense. I do think the 40 Niners have the most talented overall roster and also recognize from a position where it's like, well, he's already getting paid a lot of money and he's 36 years old. But when you're still one of the best, if not the best offensive lineman in football, you can do this. I know a lot of people get upset like they shouldn't have resigned him here. They should have gave him all that money. He's under contract. Tell him to show up. You can tell that to a backup tackle. You can tell that to an average tackle in the NFL. You can't tell that to the best offensive tackle in the league. And if the left tackle position, the most important thing you can have is security over there. They now have that Trent Williams along with Brandon Aiyuk back into the fold. They are full go to start this NFL season. If we take a look at some of those odds here for the San Francisco 49 ers. Yeah they are the favorites here. They were the best team in the NFC last year. Went to the Super Bowl I thought they should have won. It came up a little bit short to win the NFC West a -190 price to win the NFC title. That's a plus 260 price. And then the Super Bowl at a 6 to 1 number. We know how talented they are. And even before the season they got a tough game coming up against the Jets. What's your feeling the Niners now that we're fully intact and ready to go for week number one I like it. And you can imagine inside the locker room a lot of the guys are buying in. You want to see the older players the leaders of your team get rewarded. Brandon Aiyuk's back in the building. Christian McCaffrey. It seems like he's trending in the right direction. Brock Purdy Well, look, he probably wants to get paid as well. But Brock Purdy such a nice guy. They missed it. Irrelevant Kyle Shanahan look this is what he wants to see. He wants all of his weapons. All of those tools in that bag of tricks ready to go on Monday night. Prime time spot going against Aaron Rodgers in the Jets coming into Santa Clara. The more I talk about this game here, Donny, the more that I hear people are actually endorsing the Jets. But I love the 40 Niners. I think they're going to come out of the gates with a lot of this great news over the last couple of weeks, and lean on that absolutely stacked right. Start They were close last year. Could it be the hangover of the super Bowl, or could it be extra motivation to go one further for some of the younger guys? I think they'll use this. They'll move it in the right direction. I like the 49 second shortest price there for the Super Bowl futures at 6 to 1 NFC West well, the Rams they're going to be strong. Seattle's a question mark. And I guess for Arizona and Kyler Murray they're looking for a bit of an uptick. But it's really tough trying to make a case that it's not going to be the 40 Niners up top of the West and ultimately go on to get it done there and pick up the NFC title. Yeah. Prime time week number one. Fantastic slat. Obviously Thursday Night Football which is tomorrow. That's Kansas City. That's Baltimore. Then the Philadelphia Eagles and the green Bay Packers on Friday night from Brazil Sunday Night Football. You got the Rams taking on the Detroit Lions. And then Monday Night Football you got this Titanic tilt here between the 49 ers and the Jets. Now we know Trent Williams is going to be there. You know who else is going to be there Brandon Aiyuk yep. In the fold in the off season you read up. You know your superstar running back in Christian McCaffrey. Everybody is happy and healthy apparently for the San Francisco 49 ers. Now you flip it over to the New York Jets. Still waiting on their superstar edge rusher to show up in camp. That's Hassan Reddick who is now the only player in the NFL that is currently holding out. With just a few days away from the NFL season starting now. The interesting part about this whole scenario, if you remember how it went down dubs right. The Eagles traded Hassan Reddick away said wait a second man. Like a third round draft pick for one of the best pass rushers in football. What gives? Well, the Philadelphia Eagles probably know Hassan Reddick wanted much, much more money than what they thought he was actually worth. Technically, on the open market. The Jets were like, you know what, we'll work out a new deal with them. Dubs. Let's just get this deal done, come to camp, you know, show up. We'll work it out. Well, he never showed up. One time. I believe he went to the opening, like press conference, like a day or two away when he was traded and has never been back to the facility. And the Jets are saying right now, dubs, how about this. If you don't show up, we're not going to negotiate. So it's a stalemate now, days before the season. He was acquired months ago and looks like he's not going to play, at least in game number one. What is going on for the Jets? And Hassan Reddick. It's now what the 4th of September. That news conference Donnie was back on the 1st of April. He doesn't know where to park the car. He doesn't know where the leg press is in the weights room. He doesn't know where to grab a coffee. And you're trying to tell me that if he does show up, he's going to be set here for Monday night. Absolutely no chance. And he's not going to fold easily. I mean, you take a look. He's already what? Put up a couple of million dollars in fines here from missing training camp and practices. You look at all the other mandatory fines that could be coming across that he's that he's picked up through the offseason. Hassan Reddick. He's playing tough ball. And I don't think we do see him out there coming up for Monday nights big spot. So for Saleh and the Jets this is not great considering they did lose a couple of pieces there as well. You know the likes of Bryce Harper. You had Franklin Myers. So they got to figure things out in New York Donnie. Otherwise it is not going to be good. Yeah Joe Douglas you know went through the minds here. The NFL as an assistant GM in Baltimore, assistant general manager in Philadelphia. Now the general manager of the Jets. Rule number one, don't make a trade for a player who's in a contract dispute without coming to terms with that player in a contract dispute. We'll see if it lines up Monday night, but I don't think that's going to happen at this point. Let's talk tennis next right here on the early line. Anyone that's been to a sporting event, the atmosphere before a game, I think game time decisions has that same exact atmosphere. This is our arena. This is what we do. There is going to be an energy to game time decisions that you will feel night in and night out, the excitement you get when you when you lock your bets in, when you're figuring out what you want to do, we can zone in on the biggest games each night. McCarthy is eventually going to take over, but it's like it's a no lose situation for them. I mean, they suck. They were seven only on Sports Grid. Let's go. Welcome to the Liv golf team championship. The golf has been mesmerizing. They are the Liv golf team champions. Team golf is bac. Oh, yes. Are you ready? Let's go. That's what champions do. Yes. The last Grand Slam of the season. The US Open in New York City, obviously underway. A lot of upsets already happened. We are going to determine who is going to win a men's and women's championship at the open. Having said that, dubs, have we been enjoying the tennis action here in Flushing Meadows? It's been fantastic. You know the slams in tennis hit a little differently. Donny. There's a couple of big storylines with a couple of big names. Not a part of the picture. On the men's side of things. I mean, the American players. This is the best tournament we've seen in 15, 20 years. I dare say. Carlos Alcaraz. He's no longer a part of the picture. We don't get to see the likes of Rafa Djokovic, so to say. Maybe it's a changing of the guard, but I'm certainly welcoming in starting to see some of these new, this new young blood coming through on the men's side. That's what we want to see. We need to see new profiles, new characters. Everyone's sick of seeing the big three. And then all this being about Cs Alcaraz. So yeah, I've absolutely been getting amongst it. Taylor Fritz, what a performance from the big fella, 26 year old from out here in California. Came in to the quarterfinals here at the US open with an zero and four record. Just hasn't managed to take that forward step. Well ultimately shows up gets it done out there on the hardcourt. The bad news for Taylor Fritz Tony. He's now going to go against one of his best mates in Tiafoe on Friday to see who's going to the first final of a Grand Slam. At least one moves through and it's been a long time like we used to look at Agassi back in the day, Jimmy Connors, McEnroe. There were some great US men's tennis players and it's been some time which it should be dominant. I always get upset with that. Like why does the rest of the world dominate in tennis? But we can't step up to the plate. Maybe making a breakthrough in this US open. We take a look at some of the major sports yesterday here dubs you had that Fritz beat out Zverev 3 to 1 yesterday. Also Tiafoe these are the ones that I think you do get a little bit of benefit of because he had the lead and you also had an injury which knocked Dimitrov out. Which means you have to spend like an extra two hours in that heat on the court. And play the wear and tear. Maybe a slight advantage now for Tiafoe going up against Fritz. And on the women's side, Sabalenka beat Zheng two zero. And then you also saw Emma Navarro beat Paula Badosa two zero as well. So we're setting up for some good tennis here as we move forward. Now, if we take a look at the Wednesday US open odds today with a couple matches, Jannik Sinner a -280 over Daniil Medvedev who's a plus 220 as a dog Alex de Minaur. How about that. -128 versus Jack Draper at a plus 106. And then on the women's side IGA Swiatek minus three 60 a heavy favorite over the American Jessica Pegula at a plus 285 number. And then we have Haddad Maia plus 225 versus Muchova at a -280, trying to get through these names here. But we got some big tennis on the horizon. Hey Donny, you're an absolute expert. And what about demeanor? My Aussie, he's known as the demon young Alex going against the UK lad there in Jack Draper a couple of great matchups. Look Jannik Sinner a happened a lot of people go after him coming into this tournament. Had two failed tests with a banned substance, but has still managed to play some fantastic tennis there. He's up top of the of the world rankings as well, but it does not get any easier going against Medvedev, who's still at plus 440 in the futures market. He was a value player for us on the show here last week. The hardcourt specialist and this is a dog who enjoys playing in this kind of environment. Medvedev is going to get every kind of abuse thrown at him and he loves it. He eats it up. He's had a win here at the US open back in 2021. So I think we could be getting set for a bit of a takeover. If you're looking at the matchup between Jack Draper and Demon or the demon, I like the demon straight up at -134. Don't overthink that one. And if you're looking at creative ways to jump in and play the tennis betting, where you've got a really juiced up favorite in Sabalenka, which makes a lot of sense, keep an eye on this game. I think Sabalenka gets the win, but Jessica Pegula has always played some very good tennis going up against her. They've played four times over the last two years. They've split a two head apiece here and for Sabalenka to win this one, two sets to one, we can get plus 150. So little plus money if we can take it the distance and play the three sets. It's a home game here for just Pegula. She is going to be buoyed. She's going to be charging off that environment. But just hasn't managed to find that way to the next step. Trying to make it through to the final set of the slams. This is the best test you're ever going to get. How about this on the men's side, the US men's futures Jannik Sinner to win the open at a minus one 15 price here at the FanDuel Sports Book, followed by Fritz at Plus 360, Medvedev plus 460 and Frances Tiafoe at 10 to 1. So for guys at 10 to 1 or less, if we're taking a look at the women's US open futures here at the FanDuel sports book. Sabalenka -120 price Swiatek at a plus 230. Price Muchova plus 650. And then Navarro at an 11 to 1 price. And we just talked about there Jessica Pegula 13 to 1 number here. If we're taking a look quickly here who was your picks. Men and women here Dobbsie who's winning it. Oh I think Switek ultimately gets it done. I think it'd be a great match up coming up this afternoon going against Jess on the men's side. I'll stick with Medvedev. He shortened up was double digits last week. Now sitting there around plus 440. So I think we get an upset I think Taylor Fritz he'll make it through to the final. Can he get it done. He's gonna have to come up with his very best. Our number two on deck right here on the early lines. Sirius XM, channel 159.
