Friday. Kicking off the unofficial end of summer this weekend is looking pretty good. It's just by Monday, Tuesday. So let's take a look at Calaveras Lake. There's definitely gonna be some good fishing on the lake. Oh, first we're going into downtown actually change that camera view. Didn't, I didn't, I mostly sunny skies into beautiful downtown San Antonio 93. So temperatures down a bit after a high of about 95 today still feels like the upper nineties still feels like 101 at New Brons. In fact, heat index got up to 105 at 3 p.m. So good Saturday or even Sunday or Monday for a float at New brothels. 101 is down I 35 on the fields. Like it just felt a little steamer today. A couple of isolated showers just south of Bandera and near Hondo as well. Haven't seen much, but once you move west, these are some healthier thunderstorms, especially right over Del Rio. Look at that pretty good burst of thunderstorms just dropping near Del Rio. Lots of lightning but nothing else. I mean, we're not looking at anything severe, but there could be some gusty winds in that storm of about 30 MPH. Once we lose heating, we'll lose the activity out there for the most part. Although there could be a few showers at 8 a.m. tomorrow. In fact, it really looks like the brunt of the rain over the weekend is gonna be to our west and namely Del Rio and southern areas of Valverde County. So we'll be keeping an eye on some pretty good totals even Sunday afternoon, looking ahead to the second half of the weekend and you'll see it's widely scattered to the. So that's why I'm only going about 20 or 30% on rain chances Saturday, Sunday, but doubling as we get to Labor Day and Tuesday, it looks like a blanket of rainfall expected for those two days as the front starts sending some outflow boundaries in our direction. Remember, the front's not gonna go all the way through San Antonio, but just be stalled out to our north and definitely deliver some high rain chances. So again, 20 to 30% Saturday, Sunday, 60% on Labor Day, Monday. And that's why it's a weather impact alert day, that kind of rain on a holiday, you're definitely gonna be impacted. Look at the amount of rain for Southeast Texas and then also in the next seven days out West in Del Rio, three plus in the city and Metro is gonna be about an inch to an inch and a half to the tropics. We've got a couple systems to watch. In fact, three, uh, we got, the Caribbean might get active about a 40 or 50% chance there. But look at this, a 20% chance that the Texas coast sees a storm in the coming days. It'll be about 5 to 7 days. And we've got Francine and Gordon next up on the list. All right. 14 day forecast time. It is Labor Day weekend and we're going 20 to 30% on isolated rain Saturday, Sunday. But the rain is gonna be a little bit more widespread Monday, Tuesday 50 to 60%. And that's why, again, some localized flooding weather impact alert days for both Monday and Tuesday, 40% chance Wednesday drops to a 30% chance by Thursday. And then we're looking at, again, dropping rain chances altogether and staying right in those mid nineties through mid-september.
