I PREDICTED THE FUTURE!!! Will This Negatively Impact Cruising FOREVER???

hey Cru fans thanks for watching today you know just the other day I predicted the future I'll tell you about that in just a minute also an update on the Villa Odyssey that has a very quirky twist and MSC is cancelling a cruise I'm your cruise buddy Jeff and I don't need no stinking crystal ball to tell the future just the other day I told you about how Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas had to deviate to another Port because protesters were blocking the way into amster them they were chaining and gluing themselves to the locks and then I made the comment asking if this could be the new normal now that protesters have found a way to disrupt the cruise industry well boom it's happened again the 7 Seas Mariner which is a luxury cruise ship owned by Regent 7 se's cruises was blocked from entering a port in the Netherlands because an environmental group once again chained themselves to the gates of the lock the blockade delayed the ship by about 4 hours the statement from the Environmental Group said that the cruise ship is quote an example of unprecedented luxury that seems to be reserved for the richest in the world end quote that sounds more like an ad for the Regent 7 Seas to me but then they also went on to say quote ships like the Seven Seas Mariner exacerbate the crisis we are in the middle of end quote I think that English teachers everywhere are Grand Bing their teeth right now by the way as was the case in the other blockade in Amsterdam no arrests have been made oh this is odd MC cruises has canceled a 21 night sailing to Greenland and other northern European destinations the MC poesia was scheduled to set sail on June 29th of next year MC is saying that the cruise is being cancelled due to operational reasons but they haven't specified really what that means there's no indic that the ship has any technical problems and as far as we know the ship isn't being removed from service for any maintenance or repairs before I get into the latest chapter of the ongoing saga of the Villa V Odyssey let me ask you to please give this video a like then subscribe to the channel I'd really appreciate it the Villa V Odyssey has advertised itself as a life at sea ship in a nutshell you pay a lot of money you get a cabin and Cruise the world for the rest of your life The Villa V was supposed to depart from Belfast on May 30th but unexpected delays kept pushing that launch date back later and later the last predicted launch date was July 30th but that didn't happen either however there is some positive news but it comes with a sort of a weird twist residents have been allowed to move into their cabins and get everything set up and ready to go but here's the catch they can't spend the night on board that's right every night they have to go back to their hotels to sleep why well the fire doors haven't been tested yet and evidently they need to pass inspection before people are allowed to spend the night on board the V is supposed to begin sea trials soon and if it passes it's one step closer to starting the cruise something we'll have to keep our eye on hey thanks again for watching today I'm Jeff and I hope to meet you you on a future Cruise
