Puerto V Mexico in 2021 and since leaving my best life here let me show you my Let me show you my apartment in Puerto Vallarta apartment I lived here for three full years and now it's time to go for this modern two-bedroom apartment in noo narit located just a few blocks from the beach I paid $1,000 us a month in 2021 when I came to puer V just for vacation I had two luggages and you know I did pretty good I'm living with two [Music] luggages it's time to collect all my Spanish [Music] notes and that's how my neighborhood looks at night nice music restaurant Bon place every night my last morning walk down the Doing my favorite things in Puerto Vallarta for the last time beach last morning workout at the beach my last day surfing until who knows when but I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest I just need to wait a little bit more for ways to come on my way to the airport [Music] quick and easy check in and I am on the [Music] plane flight was easy and finally I arrived to guess where am Welcome to Vancouver, Canada I is fresh and cold [Music] I arrived to Vancouver hello Canada after almost four years living in Mexico fulltime it's fresh and rains almost every day usual vancou weather but this time I don't mind it finally sunny day in Vancouver What I do in Vancouver it's been already two weeks since I arrived to Vancouver and I had a blast with my friends and clients I used to work with hey guys look what we have in Vancouver we have Mexican tequila jello shot te [Music] Sal they all speak Spanish now friends you have a quest What I took for granted when I lived in Vancouver what are two things I took for granted when I lived in Vancouver these two things I cannot do in Pua I give you a moment to think about it so number one is drinking cup water it's the best in Vancouver and number two flash toilet paper down the toilet and not putting it on a side in a little bucket those are two things I took for granted and now I appreciate it very much today is exactly one month since I One month since I returned to Vancouver arrived to Vancouver time flies by so fast and it's July still a little bit fresh actually I would say cold especially for a Mexicana so Mexicana I'm Mexican but once again no complaints I enjoy the weather the fresh air and the beautiful nature of Vancouver [Music] [Music] now it's time to talk about the reasons The reasons I left Puerto Vallarta I'm living pu but only until November of this year yes no way I will leave this beautiful city for good and I'm looking to explore more of Mexico of course I want to visit my friends in Canada so the summer adventure begins many expas lived in Puerto vataa for a few years but now they're living p and one of the reason is the cost of living have gone up very high and in the last three four years Canadian dollar and US dollar went down significantly and Mexican peso stays very strong in my next upcoming videos I will be comparing cost of living in Canada versus Mexico and now a reason number one I'm living puera escape the heat I spent three full summers in Mexico and for the first two years I was absolutely fine but summer of 2023 was the hottest and longest I've ever experienced in my life life normally weather in Puerto vataa changes too good at the end of October beginning of November but last year we had seven months of high and intense humidity and heat and only in the mid of December we finally had a good weather so during that intense time I made my decision next summer I will not stay in [Music] po reason number two create more content for you and show you more facts and truth about life in Canada versus Mexico and reason number three earthquake and hurricane season in Puerto AA comes to August October and while we are pretty luy in the Banderas Bay and natural disasters rarely affect the town in the last two years we have had rough weather and this year I choose to opt out of it and go travel to Canada and then through Mexico to enjoy cooler weather and different lifestyle one more reason I'm leaving Pua this summer after a back home from Canada I will be traveling to different states in Mexico discovering doing things here but you know it does not feel like home anymore I don't connect with uh Vancouver's why people walk down the streets and nobody looks to each other's eyes and people don't look happy at least that's how I see it puera has a different vibe that's for sure people smile people look so uplifted and happy and one of the reasons they look happy is because Puerto Vaya is a vacation town and people come to to p v to enjoy themselves but that's what I like about our town it vibrates with really high positive energy and you're surrounded by this energy every single day this is the best thing um I like about puera [Music] can say the same about Vancouver all of my friends asked the Do I miss Vancouver and my garden? same question Larissa do you miss Vancouver and my answer is no not at all but then they asked me do you miss your garden I used to be a gardener I had a huge organic garden and I grew my own um organic vegetables and fruits and berries and you know friends no I didn't miss it at all in Mexico you can buy everything fresh and prices are really affordable much more affordable than here in Vancouver I just guess I just moved on I close this chapter of my life and I open the door to the new chapter I This situation disappointed me in Canada want to tell you this story today I decided to ride a bike in downtown around sea wall and before I go I stopped at the bike shop because the bikes tires were low in air and I was struggling with a touching the pipe with fixing it and so many men walked by and just looked at me and no one like no one offered his help I'm I was shocked because it would never ever happened in Puerto viarta or in Mexico in general I give you one of the examples how it works in Mexico a long time ago when we just moved to Puerto vaa one day my daughter and I were driving a the rental car and it was something wrong with the cooling system so close to Malon it started to boil so we see the steam is coming out so I stopped the car and before we got out of the car three men were around and helping us to push the car and park it on a side and they were giving us information about the closest bodyy shops and how to deal with that that how it works in Mexico Mexicans are so kind and when they offer their help they do it from the bottom of their hearts nature in Vancouver is What I really love about Vancouver, and where my home is now standing lots of greens mountains lakes green Parks Pine Tree Maple trees I truly enjoy during my stay but other than that I didn't miss Canada not even a bit my home is Mexico and after visiting Canada I can tell you 4 years ago I made a right decision to move to Puerto vaa where I live truly happy and fulfilled life friends don't forget to give this video a thumbs up press the like
