hey what's going on everybody this is tyd Rome back with tech life and Verizon has also revealed and released their their deals and promos uh for the iPhone 16 launch and they are getting a bit more aggressive now what T-Mobile did right when they when they did their uh reveal of their promos that's not something that we're used to from T-Mobile they're a bit more competitive right so they're in a the way that T-Mobile is breaking it down now they're doing it very similar to what we've come used to from Verizon right you have to choose the highest plan most expensive plan to get the highest amount of money for the for the device and Verizon has been doing that so we're used to that from Verizon but even Verizon is now getting a little bit more competitive I feel and they're throwing in some other deals so of course Verizon is going to offer the new iPhone 16s I mean everybody should know that by now but here's here's the uh here's the deals that I find interesting so the guaranteed trade in new and existing Verizon customers on the unlimited ultimate plan which is their most expensive plan can get the iPhone 16 Pro on us or up to $11,000 up to $1,000 off the new iPhone 16 lineup when you trade in any phone any condition I I still think that's a very attractive compelling offer if you have a broken phone laying in your drawer you can get $1,000 off or up to $1,000 off I should say so I still think that that PO part right there is still very aggressive T-Mobile doesn't offer that AT&T doesn't offer that you cannot take your crack broken phone to an AT&T store T-Mobile store and get credit for it not going to happen right with Verizon they still offer that so I still think that uniquely positions Verizon in this promotional race if you choose our unlimited Plus or unlimited welcome plans you can get $830 off or up to $415 off the new iPhone 16 lineup with trade in respectively so you see you go lower on the plan you get less that's that's the that's like I said that's what we've come used to from Verizon not really used to that from t- but now T-Mobil is they're they're moving in that same direction so here's the interesting one upgrade for the win switch to Verizon switch right the switching pool or add a new line and get an iPhone 16 Pro for $10 a month for 36 months on unlimited ultimate so you still I mean ultimate unlimited you still need the highest plan or $15 a month for 36 months on on unlimited plus so just $5 more if you choose to plan below save on Apple Watch series 10 get a new Apple watch series 10 for as low as six bucks a month for 36 months when you buy select iPhone models with select watch tradein so it sounds like uh Verizon is also now going to start taking watch trade-ins as well so that's interesting and then uh here go the business deals and then uh you got accessories if you want uh for limited time and while applies last get 20% off select Chargers case cases and screen protectors and 20% off of Apple watch accessories so that so Verizon is looking to appeal to current customers right for the upgrades they're also looking to possibly get engaged switchers I don't know how big of a deal that will be and I don't know if they necessarily go big on on a go-to market strategy and marketing to let people know hey if you switch you can get this iPhone for 10 bucks a month if you choose this plan right I don't think they do that it's more of a if if somebody happens to come into the store and they're from another company here's here's another tool you can use to get them to switch that's that's how I view that but I still think it's it's quite aggressive right the that that leaves the the store rep with uh several options to engage customers and get them to upgrade add a new line or switch from another provider so very interesting approach uh still I will say still a very premium approach let's not kid ourselves here right having to get into the highest plan to get the $10 price point per month or to get the Thousand up to the $1000 off the phone that's still moving in a premium way right same what T-Mobile is now doing as well if you want the $1,000 off you have to get on go 5G next and and that plan is is priced even higher than the uh the unlimited ultimate right keep that in mind maybe maybe if you include taxes and fees to that plan maybe it's about the same you know if it's $5 give or take I'm going to say it's the same price and that's how T-Mobile and Verizon have decided to continue to move AT&T is still best positioned in in in this in this race I feel AT&T is still allowing all all plans to get access to the best deals I think that's honestly you know that might be very similar to any any phone any condition right if you let the lowest lowest end plan highest end plan to the same deal I think that's a big deal just like any phone any condition and there's and there's some phones out there that are that literally have the slightest crack right and you take it to a T-Mobile store store they take the light out and they investigate and they're like ah we can't take it right Verizon will take that phone so that's I I still think that's a big deal it might not be perceived as a big deal but trust me there's phones out there that have the slightest crack very small that won't qualify for a tradeing that Verizon will take you know keep that in mind as you make your purchasing decision now I will throw this in to to close out this video um there is a carrier that has a better deal than than all the three mobile network operators well I guess they are well not guess they are a fourth mobile network operator and that's a Boost Mobile through dish they have they they got the best deal I mean by far you know what I mean like if you sign up with them you get you get a you get iPhone for free 16 and you don't even have to have a trade in I mean that's just a ridiculous deal all you have to do is agree to paying the monthly uh plan or I think I think it is a specific plan but I think that plan is only like 60 bucks a month and then you get the phone for free you you get it for free no trading required I think that's a that's a pretty big deal and and I think they have another deal where if you pay for the phone in full you get a you get a you get a free year of service I mean nobody's beating that right I just wanted to close that out with I didn't want to make a SE separate video on that uh nobody's beating that deal I mean nobody no's offering T-Mobile Verizon 18t nobody none of them are offering a free year of service and none of them none of them are offering you a free phone without a tradein that's just some people have called it bizarre some people have said it that's that's not going to make dish any money it it'll work they'll get people to switch if they push this hard enough if they if they stick with marketing right if they push this it'll work people will sign up you know you can literally think hey if I just go and and pay 60 bucks a month right which I've been paying with who I'm currently with I'll get a phone for free right so that that'll have that that's got to have some growth in my opinion although it might be small but they they got to they got to have some growth with that and I don't know if that'll lead them to take away huge share from Verizon 18 team mobile but it's still the best deal out there and I wanted to throw that in towards the end of this video there is no better deal from from a promotional perspective that that anyone else offers with with with everyone else you know well you I guess you can technically say Verizon is kind of similar because if you trade in a broken phone I mean what are they going to do with that broken phone you know what I mean I mean are they going to fix it maybe right but they would still have to spend some cost on on uh on parts so maybe maybe they do fix it but it's pretty if you're broke if you're trading in a broken phone I mean you're pretty much trading nothing in a value they might have to pay for that to get it fixed but but with with Dish and and Boost Mobile to go that aggressive is it's it's disruptive it's definitely disruptive but just wanted to talk about that to close out the video let me know what you think about Verizon and and and their premium aggressiveness um very similar to T-Mobile so I don't know if this is going to move the needle necessarily on getting all these people to flock to different carriers and switching you know I feel the competitiveness is kind of left the building if you will um some are still disruptive like dish and boost I I I I wished they'd had more uh more Capital dollars to deploy to really have effective go-to market and and and be really loud and big but they just don't so I think marketing wise it'll be very minimal what we hear from them and it'll be effective right I think they might do some stuff uh for the NFL and something like that but it'll be very targeted very specific so I don't I don't expect anything huge from them and then at& team Verizon and T-Mobile they've gotten kind of boring right they they're now moving in a in a direction of of being premium you know you get this price point you have to pay me this I guess you could say 18 is still the most flexible in that regard but still it's it's all still quite expensive so let me know
