well hello there how are you today I was thinking I will try a new mic does it suit me okay I would like to talk about Neil Gaiman I know that he's been up to some Shenanigans lately at least internet say so but as of today you have plenty of claims about rich men getting up to no good so I'm not judging him that is work for the judges and court system after he's been proved guilty he deserves of punishment I would rather talk about these books for today I would like to talk about I think four because to my mind at least they seem a bit similar neverware graveyard book ocean on the end of the lane and well it's not similar to those three but I throw Coraline on top of these books because I want to so how are these three first books similar where there is a young man or boy that is met with Jesus like savior powerful girl that will save him in neverwhere there is this Scottish guy that comes to London and he meets watch is she's not Angel is the bad guy she's like queen or daughter of the underworld and she has like this portal Powers she can make portals that's how she defeats the bad guy in the end in Ocean on the end of the lane the girl that saves the boy is like force of nature some kind of old deity something and she sacrifices herself to some kind of magic vultures to tear her apart instead of the boy and uh what was the third book I forgot we had neverware Ocean on the end of the lane and stardust I think it was Stardust in Stardust we have fallen star that falls to the Earth and basically saves Tristan Thorn from Evil which and makes him King of the what was this Castle something with thunder and I don't write scripts for these things I get from my memory and therefore I'm mumbling a lot but let's put all the fluff to the stuff and get to the center neverware is basically about this one guy coming to London and discovering it has many layers especially in the Underworld and there are underworld people basically like metaphor for homeless people but these people are magic it's like Harry Potter England has many alternate realities in many books and stories which is fascinating even today there are many layers to the news about one but let's get back to fiction or not this D comes to London meets a girl falling on the floor or something and she's been pursued by two assassins which completely doesn't happen in uh graveyard book or other books that they are two comical assassins they are very evil and sadistic so this dude finds this Homeless girl takes her home and catches this magic disease nobody will see him and care about him so he follows her around and gets into the underworld when they meet Lord Carabas or de Carabas I don't care and he's pretty badass in uh one short story when he searching for a Cod another similarity if you have red Sandman he searches for his cold when he's released from the pr and the Carabas also is searching for his black coat is black as night with many pockets and stuff so Sandman and Lord the Carabas are another dreamlike magic similar beings naturally they are these two Broods comical assassins they follow the main protagonist around and C Havok and stuff and stuff and stuff some horror stuff like happens and in the end the resolution is pretty fast and what's the opposite of Epic underwhelming pretty much pretty much that in the ocean on the end of the lane is pretty much similar but instead of under London is the boy is uh in the strange neighbers House and Garden and the garden is strange with this big lake that is basically ocean and he also gets somehow into alternative reality where he pisses off magic being that will L on to him and try to destroy his life but he gets save with the magic girl and that's about it my favorite of his stories I would say is the Stardust especially I live the movie The Book is bed down with unnecessary stuff and the resolution is kind of underwhelming again gayman has very strong starts good mths and uh very disappointing ends like he's getting bored with his writing and he's want to be done with it okay next and he just the Game of Thrones eight seasons Every of his book like even American Gods where Balor or Shadow moon is also saved by his Undead wife ala and she gives herself up for him so another Jesus like woman Savior and the ending of the book is just mess he like hangs himself from the tree just like Odin to gain some knowledge into something like the book disserves in that passage into LSD hallucination or something it's it's borderline unreadable in that part but the ending after that that he comes to this Lake and confronts the murderer of children that is at least a bit better ending to the book I recently watched like the three episode of his newest show something ghost boys uh police or detectives and I couldn't bear more than two episodes and I was thinking is he woke but then get to my mind that no he's always been kind of woke he has written about strong female protagonists almost all his career so at least he's innocent on that front but as I gather from Sandman to others of his books he sure likes to write a lot about how shall I put this unwanted uh love making I counted at least three times in sandmen and in other books it's uh here and there I just wanted to kind uh have a chat about similarities in his books about the reoccurring te there are of course people that have read more books of his than me but at least for what I have written I kind of find the same thing over and over again did I talk about the graveyard book I don't think I have mentioned it the graveyard book also has like murderers and uh this innocent boy and he's been gardened by female werewolf but also he gets a human uh child friend in this book I don't really remember if the little girl saves him but uh he's been protected by this werewolf Russian uh woman the whole time I think because very wolves are God's hounds or at least the Bogies say so what I like about gaiman's writing is his vivid imagination his descriptions his flourishing language it's beautiful to read it's like art I think he's rich on form but poor on content he can describe beautiful things have nice pros and whatnot but essentially he tells you the same story with a different people it's like you take Harry Potter and turn it around you have same people but different stories well in Neil gan's writing you have different people same story I'm not trying to poop on him just these were my thoughts about how I found these book's a bit similar if there is someone watching this let me know how do you feel about Ocean on the end of the lane uh neverware graveyard book what was this uh Stardust oh I forgot about Coraline what happens in Coraline well this one is pretty different from the others he wrote this for his daughter and he wrote this over years and years oh there is this young girl that moves with her parents and she's bored in this big house where they live and she goes snooping around she finds people that live there some Russi Sports guy Mrs forcible and Mrs with their dogs she gets friends with a little kitty cat and she finds other parents her other mother and other father but her other mother is an alternate universe ghost or being of Supernatural power that wants to eat her not like the beans from the ocean on the end of the lane no completely different uh beings and no like in the neverware magical beings that want to come and get you or not the magical beings like in the graveyard book that wants to come and get you these gargoyles or something is it similar also I don't know anymore I'm not sure but there you go there is this surrogate mother figure that is essentially evil and wants to eat the kit well now that I say it Ocean on the end of valaine and coral line have something similar also H I didn't think that one true well with the help of the cat this time the cat is the savior she defeats the evil mother and vanquishes her to her universe and and hand of her will stay in the physical world but she traps that in the well it's not like the well won't be uncovered in time and the Hand will escape but okay the more I think about it the more samey stuff I find well even though it can be the same some of it is pretty cool and pleasurable so I'm looking forward to reading Neil giman the fat book and Trigger warnings and uh the stories from the back seats I have almost every of his books so I am a fan although I have some critical thoughts I may later on do a praising video that I love this and I love that and he's great at that and I think I will use my wait a second to prove you I'm not just hating on him I have my working notebook and my lummy Allstar pen I use these to write outlines for my stories and then I write them into computer so at least I am very much inspired by Neil Gaiman and I don't think he's a really bad person but the truth will come out and we will find out soon I think okay for today that's all I got go away now
