I'm Sarah Snider here on Alabama's Gulf Coast and we wanted to give you a look at the conditions we're seeing here in Orange Beach right now a lot of rain today a lot of wind in this area as well and as of just a little while ago take a look at this a red flag now flying of course that means dangerous RI currents as well as the purple flag flying that is for dangerous marine B now while we won't have a direct hit here from frine we will feel an impact we're hearing from City of Orange Beach leaders saying that there is a high risk of rip currents along the Alabama and western Florida Peninsula beaches tonight through Friday night dangerous surf also expected Wednesday and Thursday there's also a tornado threat near the coast flooding is a big concern as well with forecasted totals right now between 2 and 4 Ines high winds also expected and I also heard from Baldwin County EMA they're trying to make sure that people who live or vacation in this area are prepared they're offering information on safe places alerts and ways to stay safe
