Ohio State Football *OFFICIAL* 2024 Schedule Preview

ladies and gentlemen welcome in to a college football 2024 schedule preview going over the Ohio State Buckey 2024 schedule this is the first team I'm doing maybe I'll do a few different big teams if anyone wants me to do their team just say it as a suggestion in the comments maybe you know Oregon Alabama some of the bigger teams but this really isn't a projection it's more of just my summary on Ohio State schedule I'm also going to predict all the start times I like doing that it's kind of fun for me and then we're also just going to look how is this Buckeye schedule what is the vibe with this team based off the schedule it's a different year in college football we've got the 12 team playoff we've got every team getting a double buy and by the way Nevada actually playing in week zero they're going to have 13 games I thought Oregon was also going to do 13 games apparently they took one of their games off their schedule but every single team will have a double buy Ohio state gets a buy week three and then they get a buy it looks like week eight as well but let's see we can already see off the bat Ohio state with a very easy non-conference schedule akan at home right now they're sitting minus 50 and a half that game is on CBS which is very strange Western Michigan weird start time 7:30 at night a lot of people not happy I thought that would be a noon game I believe the deal is still that Ohio State and every other big 10 team has to be on a big 10 exclusive game two times so Western Michigan will be the first Big 10 game the Marshall game normally with that third non-conference game so they get the buy they're going to be 2-0 obviously those those are two very easy wins two Mac teams and then Marshall is another easy win but it's kind of a fun game you know Marshall coming to Ohio stadium I'm guessing that's going to be a noon game it just depends normally that third nonconference game is is a like a 4:00 FS1 game for Ohio State but I would say noon possibly on FS1 no I don't think they really have FS1 games on at noon I would say yeah I'd say like noon I don't know what network that'll be but probably noon if Ohio State opens 3:30 then 7:30 uh and then they're at Michigan State again they face Michigan State early in the season I remember back in what was it 2022 Ohio State at Michigan State it was like week four or week five because I live streamed that day and CJ strout through a pick six and then I mean Ohio State just destroyed Michigan State Ohio State has been annihilating Michigan State for like 5 years now and and Marvin Harrison Jr had a bunch of catches in that game I remember it that was a 330 game I don't know what time this one is going to start at September 28th that is my birthday I I would say the start time for the Michigan State game probably noon if I had to guess or maybe 3:30 noon or 3:30 I don't think they're going to give Michigan State a 7:30 start and then who's going to get the rights to it I mean if it's noon you could do big no I don't think they're going to do big noon with Michigan State I don't know maybe ABC although does does ESPN have any rights to the Big 10 now I'm not even sure they do uh but moving on to October 5th you can see Iowa at home oh by the way Ohio State at Michigan State I would say they're going to win that game very easily Iowa at home's another very easy win Ohio State recently faced Iowa maybe like two or three seasons ago they won like 54 to 10 and this Iowa game I'm going to say it's probably 3:30 a 3:30 start time we'll have to wait and see at Oregon I believe it's already come out that this game is on 7:30 NBC confirmed it makes total sense this is possibly the game of the year Oregon very likely will be undefeated they're probably going to be ranked three Ohio state will very likely be ranked two Oregon's probably going to be about two point favorites in this game at home and it will be a 4:30 Pacific start time as the sun go is going down listen say what you want about conference realignment my God what a game this is and obviously I mean if it wasn't for conference realignment it would be Ohio State at Illinois or something so listen we we got to like this this is Ohio State in Eugene in a 7:30 Eastern 4:30 Pacific game on NBC and then Ohio state gets an off week even if they lose that game to Oregon I don't think it's going to be a big deal obviously with the 12 team playoff I mean it's going to affect their chances to make the big 10 championship and possibly get that first round by by winning the Big 10 but uh they get get Nebraska so a lot of people are talking about Nebraska possibly being undefeated going into this game apparently Nebraska has a very easy schedule and you can see the wind the starttime window for that Nebraska game it's either going to be noon 3:30 or 4 I do think if Nebraska has zero or one losses big noon will pick up this game and this will be a big noon game but if Nebraska has more losses it might be like a 3:30 game on ABC or maybe 3:30 game on CBS we will have to wait and see I think CBS already released their preferred schedule and I don't think this was part of it but and then you've also got the 4:00 window I think the 4:00 game would be on FS1 if I have that correctly and then the other very hard Road game for Ohio State at Penn State I I mean listen this is an easy schedule everyone's been talking about it being easy but on the road at Oregon on the road at Penn State those are very tough games will it be the white out quite honestly I'm ignorant on it I don't know if Penn State is planning the white out for the Ohio State game or the USC game they hope post USC I think it's week four that might be a 3:30 game well if it's a 3:30 game then then we would expect the Penn State game to be the white out I believe the Penn State game will probably be on NBC or or you know what I think the Penn State game is going to be on at 3:30 I I do think it's going to be on CBS that's what I was hearing Ohio State at Penn State CBS 330 technically they could still do the white out cuz this is November so the sun's going to set early it's probably going to get dark midc quarter I would say Pennsylvania sunset's pretty early that might be the night we we changed the clocks though yeah I think it is so I do think that's going to be a 3:30 game and then you do have Purdue at home on the 9th of November listen there's really nothing to analyze with that I would say it's probably a 7:30 game maybe maybe 3:30 I don't know Ohio State's going to beat Purdue obviously they get Northwestern at Wrigley Field I would really uh prefer this game to be on at 3:30 I think that be really cool at Wrigley Field late in the year so that's going to be great it's going to be sold out I'm sure Ohio State playing at the stadium especially with how loaded this Ohio State team is is going to beat Northwestern we know that they get a warm-up game with Indiana at home I'm guessing that's going to be noon and then they get the Michigan game of course to end the year at home that'll also be noon the early line on that Michigan game is Ohio State minus 10 a half that's what I saw mainly because Michigan the quarterback situation Ohio State returned everyone and they are going to go into that game pretty big favorites and then you do have the big 10 championship game will it will be on CBS now not Fox CBS has the rights this year and that will be just the week after the Michigan game if Ohio State makes it and I think most people are predicting right now Ohio State to rematch Oregon in the Big 10 championship game because it's not like a divisional thing it's just the two best records looking at the schedule I I mean it's just going to be very easy for Ohio State to start 5-0 there's really not much else I can say they're going to be 50 point favorites over akan they're probably going to be like 38 Point favorites over Western Michigan they're probably going to be like 28 point favorites over Marshall they're probably going to be like 24 Point favorites over Michigan state they're probably going to be like 27 point favorites over Iowa so they're going to be five and0 and then that Oregon game is going to be huge you get the off week Nebraska it could be interesting if Nebraska starts off the season well Penn State's going to be tough but I think it's at 3:30 and maybe Penn State will do the white out game against USC Purdue is an easy win northwestern's an easy wi win Indiana's an easy win and then the Michigan game so I would say Ohio State you're looking at the Oregon game you're looking at the Penn State game you're looking also obviously at the Michigan game as well but that's just my take on the Ohio State
