good morning today is September 2nd on Monday today is Labor Day currently it's around 5:02 a.m. I woke up around 4:30 a.m. today and I'm about to go to mount Baldi to do a race to the top I'm currently training for the 100K so been putting in some good elevation gains here and there and so this will just be another one of those and mount Baldi is just one of those trails and mountains that are very I guess reflective of the 100K and so I'm going to put some work there I'll be going with Aaron and Justin Justin will be running with me Aaron will just be running up to the NAD and then H just there after just and I finish the race so it'll be quite a steep climb with about 6 to 7 Mi of 4.5k of Fe elevation gains so pretty steep but good training and all this is around $6 000 ft at altitude so training well in that and hopefully my legs will hold up I think the past two days I did a pretty long run so I'm still kind of recovering from that so we'll see how my body feels during this run but hoping for no injuries and just trying to put in some good work so see you guys there um currently pretty dark but we'll go there around 6:30 to pick up our Bib and then the race starts at 8:00 a.m. [Music] it's Labor Day [Music] [Music] a p p of P I was like sir sir e here back at it again [Music] [Music] [Music] hey guys [Music] all right we're going to start to 4 minutes have to start L I was like where are you guys [Music] 5 4 3 2 1 [Music] let's go start your watch [Music] M [Applause] down did not like that D nope now at the entrance [Music] [Applause] one [Music] 1021 it's m 2 1237 C [Music] [Music] burning now 34 C [Applause] all at the [Music] notch 4 12:09 [Music] that's [Music] [Music] burn Lev five in 1831 the's backbone [Music] 6 1935 on this over path [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] there yeah really I could my old think I got 145 yeah low 146 the cats were like exploding in the beginning yeah the last the climb up my um really I think it takes a while for for my um cast to warm up like it only started warming up after the notch yeah that's when I was like okay now I can start consistently running yeah all right H back to the notch 2 3 miles all right approaching the notch not today pretty good run CS definitely felt it but we'll get there fish a: 145 time is I think not bad I'll take it now we're on this down hill all way back to the Notch and then we're good then we'll take the ski lift back thanks for watching shirt oh really thank you [Music] yeah sh good job good job she just been CH chucking shirts you want them [Music] [Music] shirt yeah cuz 15 would take like but [Music] [Laughter]
