a subtropical low battered Nova Scotia bringing strong gusts upwards of 70 km an hour recorded in places like Halifax causing these very high uh Tides but additionally it was the rainfall that was quite significant as well taking a look down towards Bridgewater you accumulated upwards of 112 millim of rainfall within the 24-hour period and more rain is to come as the second system just pushes into Atlantic Canada it's going to bring a second round of showers through the afternoon the uded front draped over the maritimes will bring some light showers towards the southern regions of Nova Scotia stretching into Halifax for the overnight but the low is just going to be clipping Cape Breton Island bringing more of the heavier rain there but the heaviest rain is going to be right across the buio coast for Monday morning widespread across areas of New Finland and then tapering off heading in into Monday evening now like I said the burgio coast will be seeing the heaviest rainfall 30 to 50 millim expected Cape BR Island closer to within that range of 10 to 30 and the Avalon with 10 to 20 millim but what's so good about it is on the back end of this we're going to be having high pressure and move into place across Atlantic Canada bringing sunny conditions and warmer temperatures [Music]
