little bit of holiday in my spirit right good morning do morning morning bless you I think we enjoyed the weekend more than yeah because it's all it's all showing on my face I I can't deny that I had a good holiday I literally didn't go through any chair because God sent me help right do I hope your holiday was good your weekend was good rather well yeah it was full of a lot of stuff you know I'm excited I'm preaching on Sunday how was that yes I was preaching yesterday twice actually at three three four meetings yesterday but I'm excited okay what was yesterday's message all right so I've been teaching the series on um you know I'm trying to make it so it's easy for those watching and listening to to to comprehend what I'm talking about I started a series on enjoying living and enjoying the best of Two Worlds wow okay so read from First Timothy that's been the context of that teaching 1 Timothy 4: 7 and 8 where he says refuse old wife fables then it talks about bodily exercise profited little but godliness is profitable to all both in this life and in that which is to come I mean we had some exciting time yesterday both Services somewhere in that message were you did you encourage us to exercise somewhere just somewhere in the middle of it no now so when he's talking about bodily exercise nothing talking about the gym bodily exercise is actually a Greek word that talks about the law of Moses it's not like physical exercise talking about the law of Moses that is predicated on outward stuff where your worship of God is coming from an external sauce for example worshiping God through the use of mediums like oil handkerchiefs all the kind of things so it's called the law of Moses and so brother Paul was telling Timothy that such practices profit little the word little there means insignificant it means it's transient it has no Eternal value then it says but godliness which is the word UIA in the Greek it means our view of God in Christ it's what profits you it's what has Eternal advantages both in this life today and in the life which is to come after mortality puts on immortality wow that that's a lot already I personally didn't know that particular one but let's go all the way to the top we want to say a happy 32nd wedding anniversary to you and Dr Rachel Dam thank you so much thank you so from the top that will be how has 32 years of marriage been have you been able to balance it with all of the changes that you the evolving that you have done as a pastor as a husband as a father 32 years well uh God's Grace has made it so easy I don't even think about 32 years it doesn't look like it to me you know and it's just simply because uh when we got married my wife and I we decided that we're going to live our homes and our lives based on God's word we're not going to use any Norms any tradition any culture we're just going to run by the word of God if you're wrong the word of God says so you're wrong if you're right the word of God says so you're right so so we began to look at how God relates with his church how God relates with his people and we decided to just build our relationship around the word of God and that has made a lot of things easy for us so even when it came to you know it came to the point of raising our children it's all principles of God's word so we run our lives that way and it's the most exciting and easy way to live okay so so let me still talk about the I mean marriages that things don't last we've talked about God aside from the god what else have you and your wife done differently from what is presently being obtained with this generation that has help you to sustain that so I think this generation has a lot of issues to struggle with which My Generation didn't have issues with for example relationships have gone so scar because everybody's on a device so you can have five people sitting down together who are friends but everybody's talking to somebody he doesn't know and nobody's talking to anybody else so relationships are becoming very light they becoming less weighty and they are not strong because the bond that keeps relationship is communication and so when communication becomes weak relationships become weak but back in the days we didn't have devices so you've got to talk you have you have to engage so relationships were built on friendship okay and and for me that's the best marriages when people were friends and finally got married because anybody can pretend if he wants to get married to you but your friends will pretend because they have no agenda they're just your friends so you get to know them properly you get to know who they are who they are not so by the time you eventually evolve from Friendship into marriage there are no hidden agendas you just know who you're marrying but today because of the weakness of communication or lack of it people can pretend people can even be something else for years and you don't even know but by the time you get into a home and you begin to live together then everything plays up and then you find I know I can't cope with this I can't cope with that the next thing is you he due to irreconcilable [Music] differences we can't continue anymore so I think that's the major challenge communication friendships are becoming very weak in society and I think we need to do a lot to push for people to go beyond just devices and really be real and and build lasting friendships so so we you say that those are the principles that I've worked for you whereas you know young couples these days can actually use because you made mention friendship communication I mean some people still believe that they communicate in marriage well again it depends how effective Adam and Eve are communicating and yet Satan was able to deceive Eve in his very presence so it depends on how effective sometimes my wife will say I want to spend time with you and I'm like I've been at home all week she said that you know what I mean you know what I mean you I've been at home with you all week she goes like you know what I mean and I know what she means what she means is I need quality time not just being around we need to engage you need to engage me talk let me know your heart let me know what you're thinking let me know your plans let me know how you feel let me know you know what's going on within you so and then I say okay so um can we do it later today she okay so we see that and then I go over it I begin to tell her what I'm thinking what I'm not happy about what I'm happy about what I like what I don't like what I'm observing that I don't feel comfortable with and she goes she brings her own too and then we look for a way to come around and then balance things and then we're happy and then maybe drink a cup of tea or something you know they call me the tea master I make tea for everybody if you bring tea I can make for all of you I like making tea so and that's how we we we spend quality time together yeah I think I'm I'm dting things down you have to because you the the least that is not interested in marriage should be so something two things come to my mind speaking about Dr Rachel but our first of all ask this morning I'm sure she may be listening what's what are your top three things that you love most about her in these 32 years from knowing her as a friend becoming your wife and her evolving three things you love about your wife number one my wife is what you see is what you get my wife doesn't have hidden stuff if she's not happy she gives it to you straight if she has anything uncomfortable with her she gives it to you straight and no males once she's done it's over she doesn't keep records and all that so you you you can just tell what's going on if she's not happy you know if she's happy you know and that's easy to deal with you know she's she's not mysterious she's straight you can see it on her face straight okay so that's number one and makes it easy to relate to such a person cuz you can just tell when she's not happy I just know sometimes I'm coming to the church we're going to the service to preach and then I discovered she's not happy and I can't preach when she's not happy so I take her into the office and I go like you know I'm preaching in 15 20 minutes what's on but I'm not going to preach tell me what the matter is cuz there's no point preaching to others when you that is supposed to be my first disciple is not happy with me and then she'll go like no go and preach I'm okay and I go like no I'm not preaching in fact I'm going to ask them to pray and keep the service and just pray and close we need to solve this and then she'll go like okay this is the issue and I go like okay uh but this is what happened that led to this and you played this role I play this role I'm sorry you know but next time don't do it like this do it like that and she goes like but I raised it up so you shouldn't be telling me what to do I should tell you what to do and I go like okay so tell me what do you want me to do next time to avoid this and she goes and then after a while we're happy or smiling and we pray and I go into the church to preach so what what you see is what you get with my wife there are no hiding everybody knows you see it if she's happy she's happy she's not so that's number one the second thing that goes from my wife is she has such loyalty to God's word I mean no matter what she thinks is right even if that's what she believes is her right and I show her from scripture honey know look at this this is what the scripture says about this thing you're doing this this this that dissolves it once you can show her from the word of God and she knows she's wrong she's willing to take it but if you can't prove it to her from the word of God you're in trouble so when we were getting married I knew that that's her mindset that made me always his word of God the word of God says this the word of God says that should go like but the word of God also says this and then we go like that so that's the second thing that goes for my wife the last thing that goes for my wife is my wife loves so much that sometimes she loves to a fault sometimes I tell her you're overdoing yourself you don't have to just relax you don't have to all and she goes like but I want to make sure everybody is affected everybody is taking care of everybody you know she's that generous she she can she can give her finger she can give her toe she can give her leg you know if she believes in the cause so those three things go from it's it's really great for a lot of us getting to meet Dr Rachel de from a husband's you know words this morning what one question I'll ask is over the years you have transited you know from one phas of ministry one set of belief to the other how has she evolved along in terms of embracing you know who her husband has become in the face of the world and who he was all of that Journey she's been with you all through it how has it affected your relationship how has she embraced it so like I said communication we communicate effectively and a lot in my family so when things are changing in my understanding she's she's there so it's not like I discovered things no we we made up our minds when we were getting married that we're going to discover things together in fact is it's that serious that I don't go to any country for the first time she's not coming wow if I'm going to a new country she's got to be there with me so all the countries I've been to she's been there if I'm going to a conference where I'm going to learn she comes to that conference because she she needs to hear what I'm hearing if I'm discovering new things she's there to discover them with me so when I'm transiting in Ministry we transiting together it's never been a challenge because of effective communication same thing with our kids we take them along they know all I'm doing right now they understand this message I'm preaching they can they can take anybody on to the least of them because they understand what I'm teaching so we're able to carry everybody effectively because of communication okay so doctor I'm I'm still going to go into the relationship there's something you said about communication that you know pusing to speak honestly to issues that is what today's generation feel like is um it's too much you know that situation or scenario where a couple maybe the husband is a blun person just tells the wife exactly what is happening how he's feeling about something she did and the wife feel like he's just too kind of blood can't you sugarcoat things a little bit I mean has there ever been a point in your marriage that you had to sugarcoat things just to make sure your wife doesn't feel hot because what is happening is exactly what you're putting okay well um there's a sugar cating aspect but that's not what I do the Bible says deal with women according to knowledge deal with them according to knowledge that means you must be able to study your wife so well to understand her disposition to understand the way her mind works to understand the way her emotions her psych Works to be able to know how to communicate issues that's critical Bible says you deal with them according to knowledge so if you don't have the knowledge of a woman you will not be able to effectively handle her you've got to be able to know so it's not sugar coating because eventually I will say what I want to say but I'm going to say it in a way I know she will receive it well because the intent for that communication is to be productive I don't want to say something that will bounce off I want to say something that will be received and at the same time I'm not being deceitful so I'm going to have a tact in bringing the message I'm going to look for ways I'm going to say it and I'm going to look for the right time where I will say it and it will be well received so all of those are the Dynamics it's not sugar coating it's it's tacked it's being able and it's also not diplomacy is just know the person enough to be able to know when to say what how to say it for it to be well received so that the intent for saying it can be achieved now I'm going to ask talked about your wife I want to ask you about your children 32 years church family how have you been able to relate with them I mean you've shown us that you have a very good relationship with your wife how about your children my children very I mean we the best of yesterday I saw my daughter Jess who is married she put on her Instagram story she said she showed a picture of where me and her were playing and then she said Daddy I love you D we're that close with my girls now I have only three girls okay and they all ladies so I'm very close with them very very close till tomorrow till Jesus comes we that close from their growing years I was in involved in taking you know carrying them with me when they were babies we travel with them when we were babies even if I'm going to preach I go with them and you know it can be very very uncomfortable Daddy's preaching the baby's crying and mama has to move around and all that but we did all we went through all of that together so we all grew together with them and we've been in their lives very much in their lives you know so it's it's it's it's that kind of relationship so intentionality has been a a Bedrock for you very deliberate very very deliberate about everything so one of the things that I ask where children are concerned we're having three ladies three girls but was there any time was uhuh there's going to be no mail to carry on the name of you know Dr Abel Dam no it's never been an issue to me because I my mind got exposed early on earlier on to see that it's not about gender it's about what's in the person it's about content you can have three useless boys and you can have one useful girl that will do the job of 10 10 men so it's not about man or woman it's about what's the content in that particular person so that's what matters to me and those girls are they're making me very proud because they're doing all kind they're doing all kinds of amazing things around the world you know so I'm excited I'm happy I've never felt like uh is there nobody that will take my name it's not about who takes your name it's about what have you done that will out leave you cuz at the end of the day there are people don't have children but they impacting is still felt all over the world so it's not about who takes your name it's about what are you doing yourself that will out leave you and continue to impact generations to come yeah so so Pastor I'm I'm going to this particular issue before we most preachers most pastors their family friend is suffering presently because the thing to believe that is all about undering the word of God is from one fasting to another fasting session is from one religious practice to another religious practice even the wife is asking for attention the children are asking for attention but the man of God is focusing all of his attention on God busy with God is this right and how do we balance I mean you'll be able to go through that all through the years so how do we balance this and help today's generation men of God most of their children gr to the god of their father you need to understand my rich Heritage I'm born into a pastor's home so my life is church I understand Pastor I understand church I understand what a pastor's child goes through Absolut I understand everything because I that's my Heritage so growing from that with all the experiences I had it's easy for me to to say okay no my kids can't be exposed to this my kids need to know this my kids need this kind of time my wife doesn't need this kind of absence and all of that and I travel a lot so for me be able to balance that is because of where I'm coming from what I understood so my father had time for me you know my mother had time for me and those times were valuable because that invested into my making and I I knew pastors kids who grew up without their parents present and how they became a problem and that they being a problem is not because they are bad people it's calling for attention but when the attention is not given to them then they become established in being a problem you know that's what it is so while I was you know building my family I made sure that that kind of absence wasn't there and even when I was absent cuz I travel like fire I travel like for lack of a good one you know so what we did with my wife is we decided to to have some kind of balance I said to her you know there are females so they will be more open to you than they will be to me I know I'm their father but there are things they will not tell me but they will tell you if they were boys I will even carry them with me to go and preach but because they're females you have to spend more time with them than I do so she takes of all of that background she does all of that with them so that they not able to feel my absence but when I am there even if it is 10 minutes you will know that I was there even long when I'm gone you will know that I was there you know in fact sometime they say to me it's like you're a witch and I'm going like where did you see what before they say no no no no what we mean is even when you're not at home you are involved if I'm not at home I'm involved in everything what are you doing now where are you okay make a video show me what's happening to this okay you said you were going to do this in the morning have you done it I'm I'm like a busy body even when I'm not home I'm there with them I'm checking things I'm involved and that that that has helped a lot of bonding between me and those girls and their mother and all of that yeah now now Pastor let's look at let's find and talk about the Divergence teachings we find in the body of Christ why do we have different you know teachings on different subjects of belief in the Chris well diversion theologies come from the Bible the Bible is a Bedrock for all the religions in the world including Islam all the religions come from the Bible and the reason is because the Bible is such a book that whatever you're looking for you will find if you want native doctor ISM you find it in the Bible if you want prayer house stuff you find in the Bible if you want idol worship you'll find it in the Bible if you want Christ you will find it in the Bible anything you want you will find so it has to do with what are you looking for when you handle the holy scriptures what are you looking for it is what you're looking for that will determine the destination of your search that's why Jesus in John 5:39 will say you search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life but they are they which testify of me what Jesus was simply saying is I'm the message of the scriptures don't be carried away by the too many events look for me in the scriptures that's why in Luke CH 24:25 when Jesus rose from the dead on the way to ous he met his disciples arguably cleopas and the wife and they were discussing the event of the past three days now look at their mindset they said we thought he was the one that will restore political emancipation to Israel they said we thought that when we followed him he was going to make us relevant even in the government of the day but to make matters worse he's dead he couldn't defend himself and secondly the women that went to the Grave today to go and anoint his body said the body has disappeared and they were complaining to Jesus but didn't know it was Jesus then the Bible tells us Jesus turned to them and said to them oh fools slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken ought not Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into his glory and beginning at Moses and all the prophets he expounded the word daua that's to interpret to cut across the scriptures the things concerning himself so like I always say the reason there all kinds of religions and all kinds of interpretations to the Bible is because you can't discover God you can't discover God every attempt to discover God lands you in a religion every attempt to discover God lands you in a religion so religion is man's attempt to discover God and you can never discover God so it's always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth God has to reveal himself Jesus said no one knows the father but the son and no one knows the son but the father and he to whom the son reveals him so you can't know God except by the revelation of himself so D diverse religions are men's attempt to discover God which ends in futility because you can't discover God Only God Can reveal himself that's where that issue exists so only God reveals himself and God reveals himself through Christ yes there seems to be you have teachings where you're balancing the fact that most pastors are teaching about God but they're not centering their message on the Christ so can you you know expatiate on that some more when you're saying the gospel of Christ we should talk more about Christ than just God God God what's that really about the moment your focus is on God and not Christ you not in Christianity you not even revealing the god of the Bible because there are Gods but to us there is one God and that God is Christ Our God is Christ so if you're not revealing Christ you're not revealing God Jesus said he that has seen me has seen the father no one has seen the father at any time except the son of man Colossians brother Paul will say Jesus is the image of the invisible God so God is invisible that means he can never be seen brother Paul calls God the immortality that dwelleth in unapproachable light which no man has seen nor will ever see so you'll never see God don't even waste your time even when we go to heaven you will never see God he says no man has seen nor will ever see so God is only revealed in the person of Christ that's why he's the image that means Christ gives visibility to the invisible God that's why Jesus would say he that has seen me has seen the father and he will say to Philip have you been this long with me and yet you have not seen the father well if you're looking for a father somewhere you're wasting your time if you're not satisfied with me it's done I'm the revelation of the father I was teaching that yesterday you know in church that Jesus is God the father is God the holy spirit is God so one God three expressions and I said to them it's like I'm a father I'm a pastor I'm a husband okay so when I'm with my wife I'm a husband when I'm with I'm a husband when I'm with my children I'm a father when I'm in church I'm their Pastor same one person so he's one God with three expressions for the purpose of redemption actually the Trinity is the expression of God's love to man there would have been no need for Trinity if man didn't sin it is the sin of man that warranted the need for God to become a man because man sinned man must die God will not die it will be man that will die so God has to become a man in order for man to die for the Redemption of man now he rose from the dead he's still a man but he has to live in you and in order for him to live in you man doesn't live in man so he comes to indwell you by the holy spirit so the Trinity is a concept of redemption which unveils God to us in a man so our God is revealed in a Man 1 Timothy 3:16 Says and without controversy great is the mystery of godliness that God is Manifest In the Flesh so our God is known in a man if you miss the man Christ Jesus you miss God so we ought to be satisfied in everything that Christ is reflecting for us once you're not satisfied with everything that Christ reflects you're lost one question that we always ask and we continue to ask you know even when we share religion with other people is Christ the only way to God oh absolutely he that has seen the father has seen me no one can come to the father except through me there is no name under Heaven given amongst men whereby men can be saved in fact there's no religion on Earth I mean I've studied what religions there's no religion on Earth that can confidently tell you how to be saved ho Christianity Christianity doesn't only tell you how to be saved gives you salvation and and the Assurance of it because in Christianity is the only place where we have the S the S the Savior Who provided salvation who died and is even on public records Rose the third day there's no other religion all other religions their Founders are in the grave waiting for judgment that's why even in Islam blessed very beautiful religion even in Islam every time they call the name Muhammad they will say may God have mercy on him but it's only in Christianity that the S the Savior died rose on the third day didn't only rise when you receive his message he comes in you to be domiciled within you and that's where the Assurance of Salvation comes and that's what everybody is looking for the the Assurance the guarantee that in the life after this life you will not be confronted with judgment you'll be free from judgment and only in Christianity you have that Assurance doctor let's get down a little bit um there have been scenarios where pastors from the pulpit liken Jesus as being just the Son of God and not equal with God and that gospel has misled a lot of people in the Christian world and we bring it to the narrative can the father or can a son a child ever be greater than the father or be equal with the father I like for you to give us a little bit insight into that conversation so the problem with that is many pastors don't know the meaning of the word Son of God Son of God is not like child or PE in our vernacular it's not like pikin of God or child of God no Son of God is a Bible word for the amalgamation of divinity with Humanity The Descent of God into humanity is called Son of God that's why John 1:12 says but as many as receive Divinity in their human ity he calls them sons of God so Jesus is son of God not like his Junior God or an erand boy of God Jesus is son of God in the sense that God became a man Jesus Is God 100% And man 100% in theology we call him the 10 tropos God has done not man man has though not God for the purpose of Salvation so how do we now see a generation where the past you know in in in religion people literally take line and sinker what their PES they Goos preach from the pulpit and um because of the phone and the internet and all of that people really have time to study the Bible for themselves so when the pck from the pulpit from what their pastors is saying they fly with it and it becomes a problem so even arguing or trying to show a different directive to those people become the problem how do we help Christianity is mindset what I always say is if people are genuinely and sincerely seeking the knowledge of Christ if they're sincere they will come to it the people that have problem with coming to the knowledge of Christ are people that have hidden agendas or people that are not genuine where even in their argument they have an agenda they have a reason why they don't want to submit their views but people that have nothing to protect nothing to hide when you bring a superior argument and you show them in the light of the scriptures because their heart is open and their heart is pure the holy spirit because behind all preaching there is the Holy Spirit the holy spirit will walk in their hearts to point he shall guide you into all the truth he will he will he will shine light upon what you're sharing that will dispel the darkness that has been communicated into their thoughts so that Divine help that Supernatural ability of God on the gospel is what is what changes the Dynamics it's what brings the transformation it what is what brings the change but if a man has a hidden agenda his heart is not pure then the Holy Spirit can't force you he not going to push you against what you want he going to leave you and then just be walking around you until when you make up your mind to open up to the truth of the Gospel so people that are genuinely seeking will find only people that are funny that will enjoy the deception now L of different diver teachings and believe in Christian one we want to ask will there ever be a time that you know the whole body of Christ and Christian will come to one agreement or one belief system of the church so the question we want to also ask I I will help you rephrase your question then I'll answer is what is the body of Christ cuz sometimes when we say the body of Christ in our mind we're thinking of all Christians no all Christians are not the body of Christ because there are many people in churches who are not even born again mhm there are even pastors on the pulpit who are not born again so what is the body of Christ first the body of Christ are people who have received the message of Christ and the revelation of the Christ you you become a part of his body by receiving the message all right so the body of Christ are those that are born again so it means that it is not just the label on the church that makes the body of Christ because there can be a label on the church and half of that church are not even born again or 10% of that church are not born again so you can't call that whole church the body of Christ and then you can have all of that represented in different churches and even in non- churches all right so it's it's it's it's a spiritual body that is not identified mostly in the physical so the question now will be will there be a time when the body of Christ will come to this what we call One Faith yes the Bible says we will keep teaching until will we all come he says we will all come to the unity of the faith then he explains what the unity of the faith is which is the knowledge of the Son of God so the unity of the faith will be the knowledge of the Son of God meaning the Christ will be so preached that everybody will be bound together in knowledge with the knowledge of Christ okay so it I'm taking you back a little bit into something you answer said but I'm going to bring pastors and their spouses especially in praison their generation there is this thing about a wife always having to see her husband as her pastor and that we are in the house but I have to always R you as my pastor and sometimes forgetting that you're also my husband I know we we are progressing the conversation but you mentioned being tripath as a man a pastor husband and a father balance that conversation where your your wife always has to Reve you as part Pastor there's a lot of people who are drawing that thing out of context I agree with you so what what I do when I'm getting pastors married is that when we are you know talking about vows and all that I would say okay let's say the name of the man is Francis I say and maybe the name of the woman is Evelyn Evelyn do you accept Francis I don't put pastor she's not marrying Pastor she's marrying Francis and I emphasize you need to know that you're getting married to Francis franc Francis know that Francis is marrying heav not Pastor cuz that's what you're marrying now it's in this marriage that the woman now will have to know when to look at him as pastor and when to look at him as husband cuz he can't be Pastor all the time I am not Pastor all the time I'm father at times and at those times when I'm father I lie on the floor my kids will sit on my leg sit on my head sit on my tummy and we'll all be strugg and pushing each other that time I'm not Pastor I'm father for God's sake same thing with my wife same thing with you know a pastoral now so my kids have come to where they know when I'm speaking they know this is Pastor speaking and when I'm speaking this is Daddy speaking and then when I'm saying this is our friend speaking they they have been able to identify all of those Seasons same thing with my wife she's been able to know when her husband is speaking and when her man of God is speaking a pastor's wife must be able to know that it's not every time the man is Pastor just like it's not every time I am Pastor there are times I'm just AEL there are times you know I I just want to be a normal human being and I do it that's why I don't have the title of Bishop on my head I do it I can get on the road buy granuts buy and just walk on the road and be eating and drinking my Coke I don't have issues I do that a lot when I especially when I travel out of the country or something because in Nigeria if I do it I'll end up sharing the Coke and everything I'm praying for people the road so that that that point you rais is a very critical point because a a particular woman was telling me that her husband wants her always to be kneeling down kneeling down kneeling down she can't talk to him because he's the man of God even when he has done something wrong she can't tell him why did you do it no no no you are insulting the anointing and all that no that's that's witchcraft that's intimidation that's manipulation that's no more a relationship that's actually emotional abuse that's psychological abuse you don't do that there are times and your wife has a right not to even see you as a pastor all her life wow it's not by force she didn't marry a pastor she married a husband but if by virtue of the quality of your life and Ministry you've convinced her to believe in you as a man of God she will know when to treat you as that man of God you don't have to force it down her truth wow okay I believe that that's a lot of lights for for someone right there definitely a lot of light but I think this is one light that I like to Pro a little bit deeper because you know everything we from the church and we get it from the churchs down to the of society so I'll still ask in the Bible we're told um Sarah called Abraham Lord and and treated him th and most of the pastors will always reference that portion of the Bible why the wife must always kneel so I'm coming from a this different perspective is it okay for a hosit El to also serve his wife as qu oh that's what the Bible teaches it says deal with them as weaker vessels and Joint HS of the grace of of life that your prayers be not hindered now the hindering of prayer simply means if my wife and I have misunderstanding we can't pray so our misunderstanding will hinder our prayer lives so I must treat my wife in a way there will be no misunderstanding so that our prayer life is not affected and so in treating her as a weaker vessel it doesn't mean she's weak it means with reverence it means you treat her like a queen it means you treat her like one of the most important things in your life just like she treats you the same you know like I have a series I just I Tau last year and that series was very radical at a point a man told me in London he say papa please I don't want my wife to listen to this I know wife listen to this teaching first so I'm glad she's not here today because what I was teaching was that the first thing God showed Adam was a woman not a wife it was a woman you have to first of all see a woman as a woman before you see her as a wife if you don't see as a woman you cannot really explore the potentials the the grace of God upon our life so the first thing is to see a woman and when you see a woman with the full potentials of a woman it now graduates to being man my wife all right and God created and and I said when the Bible talks about reib you know that reib in the Book of Genesis that reib is not reib because Adam didn't have a a medical condition if your rib is missing it's a medical condition see the doct it the word rib in the Bible means um in in in in in architecture the rib of a house is one wall of the building so man is the one wall of the building the wife is the other wall and the walls are equal so the man and the woman are equal but when it comes into marriage the man becomes the head the wife becomes the body and the reason for headship is leadership simply that not because you're more intelligent than your wife not because you're better than her it's just that in every Gathering there has to be a l and the man is privileged to be the leader of the Gathering not because he's too smart so you must see a woman as one half of the wall and the man the other half of the world first before it graduates into a marriage relationship now doctor I would like us to progress a little bit now there are different times we listen in church we go to church I mean I remember growing up they will tell you that once you give your life to Christ to F work out your salvation with fear and tring that it's possible for you to lose your salvation I would like you to you know expans shate is salvation Eternal that's what the Bible says eternal life eternal salvation Eternal Redemption salvation is eternal Eternal means once saved always saved that's what it means now you know the reason why a lot of people have issues with the concept of salvation is because they do not understand the ethology of words every word that is used has a history it has a background so when the word when the Bible uses the word salvation where is the background of that word well remember again the Old Testament was written in Hebrew the new test was written in Greek because English is very young it's about 800 years old there was no English at all so what was the background with which the word salvation was coined it was coined from a word called so the so is actually among the Greeks when an emperor goes to war and he defeats his enemies he moves into the territory and secures the territory that's what the S does so Jesus is called the so of soteria because Jesus is like a an emperor who came died conquered sin now when you receive the Gospel he Jesus the Conqueror the emperor moves into you to secure that territory and he's going to be there forever so that's why salvation cannot be lost because if it is salvation there a su and the Su doesn't stay from outside to rule in his kingdom he moves in like the queen of Great Britain or the king now is not in Nigeria he's in England right there in Birmingham Palace the president of Nigeria is not ruling from ner Republic he's right in Abuja ruling from asoro Jesus is the king of the believer he doesn't rule from elsewhere he lives in The Believer and one of the major responsibilities of a king or a president is to secure the territorial Integrity of his Nation Jesus moves in as the owner of your life to secure the territorial Integrity meaning Satan can never take you Satan can never invade because for Satan to invade means he conquered Jesus and that cannot happen Jesus has conquered Satan once and for all and so that's the concept which the Bible teaches salvation so the scripture you quoted walk out your salvation is not talking about salvation as per receiving Christ he talking about salvation as per spiritual growth because that Philippians chap 2:12 where you quoted walk out your salvation with fear and trembling the second verse verse 13 says for it is God that WTH so even the working of the Sal is the work of the s in The Believer it is God that WTH in us both to will he makes you willing and to do he walks through you to carry out his plan for your life so it's still his work but you have to know that there is a work of God going on so that's why phimon chapter 1 ver 6 says that the communication of your faith becomes effectual when you acknowledge the word acknowledge is the word eposis in the Greek eposis means accurate precise revealed knowledge when you come to a place of accurate knowledge accurate knowledge of what God is doing then your salvation is effectual spiritual growth begins to happen your life begins to bring a a reflection of what God has done in you in the quality of life you live on earth do I have to do anything to sustain it no you can't sustain it because you didn't acquire it how can you sustain what you never acquired so it is both God that's secured it it is God that acquired it it is God that keeps it he's the one that keeps you you don't keep him he keeps you so what do you do you you have to grow in the knowledge so that's your responsibility your responsibility is to grow in the knowledge of what God has done for you in Christ that knowledge produces in you the fruit of his work in your heart so in light of this the phrase once saved it once saved forever saved is that is that is that a real thing is that correct or incorrect that's what the Bible teaches that once you are saved you are saved that's why it is called saved s a v e d saved it's not it's not it's not open ended it has a closure that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have you already have everlasting life what you have everlasting life is not like an item on the Shelf everlasting life is a fusion the life of God comes into you like scrambled eggs where you don't know which is which anymore that's what happened to lose salvation is to is for Christ to lose himself if Christ cannot be lost The Believer cannot be lost because the believer and Christ are intertwined is the word stiso in the Greek stiso means you will never find one without the other where Christ is you are where you are Christ is it can't be separated so what what now happens to the place of the wages of sin is death I'm a Believer but I have not let go of the ways of sin you know some of us believe we can put one leg here one leg there what then happens in the afterlife where you know having been living in sin as a Christian I died what that happens to that context of one saved eternally sa am I going to heaven in spite of all of this so there are two things the first thing is there are people who are in churches who say they are SI Saed but they are false Brethren false the Bible also teaches about false Believers false Brethren false Believers what made them false the message they heard they didn't hear the true gospel and they believe they are saved but they are not saved so such people will live in sin and it doesn't matter because they not even saved but a child of God that is truly saved of God you have the life of God even if you sin you will know that something is wrong even if you sin you cannot enjoy it because that's not your natural habitation you don't belong there so every time you get into sin or you commit an act of sin in your spirit you will know that you stepped into a territory where you don't belong and you cannot be comfortable okay so that is why they say Bible says the love of Christ constrains us there's that constrain that constraint but the question I also want to ask you where is is there actually anybody on earth that is without sin absolutely not there's not because once you have this mortality and that's why this mortality will have to be changed because this mortality is subject to all kinds of things if you don't commit fornication which is the what Christians call sin is Christian sin is always fornication adultery and M lying they don't consider tell you is a white L is there a white well that's the issue so there's nobody that is without sin because sin is not classified it's only when you classify sin you start seeing those that have no sin there's no body because of this body if you don't sin by looking you sin by hearing you sin by thinking you sin by acting there are all kinds of sins so that's why the Bible says that the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us there's an ongoing cleansing work in the advocacy of Christ that ensures the believer is is constantly washed so that sin can never stand between God and the believer because there a work the advocacy of Christ that takes care of the believer's sins so doctor you talked about the place of the Christian knowing when you step into the uncomfortable zone or the area of sin you know that this is not who you are supposed to be right but we have Christians who regardless or people who wear the tack of Christianity who regardless of what they do they can kill they can mem they can slander they do all sort of things and they don't feel for one second that what they're doing is wrong so to those group of persons are they still partakers can they still partake when first and foremost they have not even acknowledged that they are in a place they're not supposed to be as a part of the body of Christ well like I said there are two categories first of all they are false Brethren and sometimes you know those are the people John was talking to in first John chapter 1:9 where he says if any say you have no sin you make God a liar and the truth is not in you he was talking to the agnostics these are people in church they dress they talk they sing they dance they even speak in tongues but they are not saved they are false Brethren but if a man is genuinely saved and has experienced Christ and his sins he will know because it's a witness of the spirit in The Believer the spirit that bears witness that you're a child of God that witness will tell you uh-uh you don't belong there m you're in the wrong place and he makes you uncomfortable it's like the Pig and the Sheep when a pig falls in mod the pig is very comfortable and happy but when a sheep Falls in mod it begins to scream until you bring it out that's a difference because of the nature of God in you even when you sin you will know that I've just moved into a territory I don't belong that's why Jesus gave the illustration of The Prodigal Son the parable the boy was eating with pigs and then he said no I don't belong here how many highed servants does my father have enough to eat and to spare what am I doing here I will arise and go home nobody spoke to him but that knowing in him and that's what happens to the believer the believer gets caught up in a wrong in a wrong environment and he's doing what he's not supposed to do suddenly something that trigger goes in goes off within him and he goes like I don't belong here and he gets out of it that's the difference the unbeliever the man that is a false brother or a false convert will be very happy that he having a good time and will devise even ways to continue having a good time cuz there's no conviction no inward witness of the spirit in his inside so the there is I'm still you know digging into that same question when we now go to the scripture that talks about um you know the afterlife we healed in your name we cast out demons in your yeah we did all of this in your name still talking about salvation these are people who I I believe they fall into the false or the um false prophets false prophets yeah false false Believers and the two that Pastor just gave this morning false Believers and false and false Brethren so I'm sure they fall into one of the categories where we believe that we've lived all our lives here on Earth for Christ but we get there and you know he said go away I know you not what's what's what's in that still in the context of one so take note of I knew you not that means me and you never met you never got saved we never met you were you using my name to do Miracles he will honor his name because he's compassionate towards the people who needs the Miracles see Miracles are not happening because the man of God is powerful miracles happen because God loves people and he wants to reach people so irrespective of who is pray praying or preaching God will bypass every protocol to demonstrate his Mercy towards people so don't be carried away by Miracles it's not Miracles the Y sck for checking whether a man of God is sound is not Miracles because Miracles are not exclusive to Christianity other religions magic other diabolical people do Miracles what is exclusive to Christianity is the revelation of Christ in the scriptures that's why the Bible say they that labor in word and Doctrine deserve double honor cuz that's actually the yard stick that's why if You observe John the Baptist did no Miracle Moses did miracle for 40 years in fact Moses's Miracles are more than Christ Miracles you you know Moses split the Red Sea R sea three million people passed and at the wink of his eye the water body came together and swallowed the Egyptians Jesus walked on water and when he told Peter to attemp Peter almost sank but Moses took 3 million across see the difference Jesus had to get a boy's bread and fish to feed 5,000 people Moses just threw his hand to the sky and brought Mana all over the city everybody had food Moses had miracles for 40 Years yet Jesus said John the Baptist is bigger than Moses even though John the Baptist K nobody so I asked the Lord why and the Lord said to me Moses pointed to do sayth the Lord do sayth the Lord all the prophets everybody does sayth the Lord does sayth the Lord then John the Baptist showed up Behold the Lamb of God see him here so the revelation of Jesus is what situates ministers when it comes to their level in God that revelation of Christ and that's why Jesus says among all those that that are born of women none is greater than John the Baptist but watch this he said but the least in the kingdom is greater than John why is the smallest in the Kingdom greater than John because John said behold but for you today he lives in you now doctor let me let me take you back a little bit when you talked about how some Believers some Christians who who rather find themselves in doing the wrong thing and they will just you know just said this is not where I belong to there are also some people that believes that um if you don't listen to the leadings of the Holy Spirit there's a possibility that the Holy Spirit leades you I want to make that I want you to make it clearity is it possible that the Holy Spirit leaves a man and he's not giving instruction again the holy spirit will never leave nor forsake you that's what Jesus said he will abide with you forever that's why salvation is eternal because the Seal of Salvation is the holy spirit Ephesians 13 and 14 he has sealed us with the Holy Ghost Of Promise until the Redemption of the purchased POS posession the purchased possession is your body so the Holy Ghost is going to stay with you no matter what until this body puts on immortality that's why salvation is secured you know the only the only faith on Earth the only faith on Earth where the woried lives on the inside of the worshipper is Christianity why does the worshiped lives on the inside of the worshipper to secure the worshipper forever so in light of one saved forever saved what then do we do as Christians that deny us of eternal life nothing you see the life eternal eternal life for a Christian to lose eternal life not temporal life eternal remember you have no life except the life except the life you have no life when Christ who is our life so you have no life it's no longer I that lives but Christ so because you have no life the life you have is eternal you can't lose it okay so let me ask you as a lay man what can I do that will deter me from making Heaven because of the the context of Heaven and Hell in the after life you cannot make Heaven no human being can make Heaven that teaching on making Heaven is a scal it's not Bible there is nowhere the Bible check your Bibles there's nowhere the Bible ever said that when a Believer dies he goes to heaven it's not in the Bible check it but but the Bible talks about judgment after death I'm coming now but he doesn't talk about going to heaven he talks about judgment yes there's judgment what judgment two judgments the first judgment is the great white Throne judgment for unbelievers for the believer it is the Beamer seat the Judgment seat of Christ but the reason why you'll be judged in the Judgment seat of Christ because you in Christ Christ the great white Throne judgment is a judgment for those who rejected the gospel the other judgment is for believers for service for work for Ministry for the things you did in the kingdom of God you will be judged so you can be rewarded that one doesn't have to do with a loss of Salvation it's reward his family business so the father will gather his family and say you what did you do check it you didn't do well you take your reward that one is for family you don't lose your sunship because of the Judgment seat of Christ you're still a son but you won't be rewarded but the white Throne judgment is for those who had the gospel and rejected the gospel and that judgment is for them to be sent to their final destination since they don't want Christ of course they have to go to to where is available outside Christ so so where is that the available outside Christ that is where we are it is called hell but you see if I going to hell now we won't close because there are four Hells hell is hell even though hell is not hell there is the hell where Jesus went okay that hell where Jesus went it's outer Darkness there's no fire there it's just outer Darkness then there is another hell and another hell there's gehenna there are all the different Hells now if I'm going to do a teaching on hell we will not leave here today because we have to go through all the scriptures and let me add something else just for your curiosity you know when you read the Bible and the Bible says forever is different from forever and ever is different from forever and ever and ever they're all different and they're there in the Bible there's forever there's forever and ever there's forever and ever and ever and they're all different and they connected to the concept of hell so that's a full teaching on its own and we don't have the time now but all those who rejected Christ will will spend eternity with Satan they will spend eternity with Satan because the only option outside Christ is Satan so since you don't want Christ he's not going to force you that's why I say God doesn't send people to hell it is people's choices that take them to Hell God will never send you to hell but if you say God I don't want you then God is not a tyrant he's a father he will let you have your way but the absence of God is hell so if I have at any point in my life accepted Christ into my life as Lord and Savior said the Salvation prayer irrespective of how I've lived my life on Earth you are saying that I am going to spend eternity with God the condition for spending eternity with God is to receive Christ but don't forget once you receive Christ his nature comes in your inside and his nature begins to transform your mind you know the issue we're dealing with here is the transformation of the mind because the spirit is already saved but the Mind under goes transformation so that's why in the concept of salvation we have you are are saved you are being saved you will be saved you are saved you are being saved you will be saved now you are being saved because you are saved you will be saved because you are saved so the foundation is that you are saved your being saved is the renewing of the mind you will be saved is the is the body putting on immortality so that's the concept of salvation but your your body will receive immortality because you already saved your mind will be renewed because you are already saved so salvation is eternal once you receive Christ and you know that is what Christianity offers that other religions don't offer the Assurance of Salvation once you are saved there's an assurance that Assurance is a guarantee that guarantee is the Holy Spirit the Bible calls him the down payment of Salvation okay so I'll take us through this um scripture and ask for clarity more Romans 12 1 to2 says therefore I urge you brothers and sisters in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as Living Sacrifice holy and pleasing to God this is your true and proper worship do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind then you will be able to test and approve that what God's will is his good pleasing and perfect will now I had to bring that scripture um when it comes to the worship of God you've talked about that once we're saved and it it is done so um this is one preaching or one area of preaching that Christians tend to believe a lot so I come to church and you Pastor you're preaching in your church I'm in your church and I've never received Jesus Christ in my life and then I happened to receive Jesus your message got to me the Holy Spirit took over and I Surrender myself and I say the word of prayer is I have received Jesus and you pray for me and I'm God and I go back to the same old life I'm not studying the word I'm not doing anything that leads me to worship God through the rest of my life because pastor had prayed for me and I had received Jesus and that does it all is there a thing like that because there are humans like that yeah so the the the point is this you don't give birth to a baby and dum a baby on the road to grow a pastor cannot just lead you to Christ and abandon you if he does that he didn't do his job that's why the word in the Great Commission is make disciples go and make disciples the word Mato go and turn men into students so the job of a pastor begins with getting people saved but that's just the introduction the real work is transforming Men by teaching them what happened to them when they got saved and that can take a lifetime but if a Christian and received the gospel received Christ and then nobody helped him and he went back home and went back to his former ways because there's a lot of prayer going on in the church for people that are saved to grow to be transformed somehow somehow Jesus is The Shepherd of the sheep he will navigate that person somehow somehow he will stumble on somebody or stumble on a teaching or stumble on a relationship that will provoke his appetite for spiritual growth and that's where teaching begins okay so speaking about the subject of Divergence in Ministry where as it is now we're still all journeying to Perfection there's a recent teaching that you did that is the latest controversy of Dr Abel damina in the social media space let's bring on that there that particular video and then we delve right into it recently we're talking about U music within the church okay that that's latest controversy by in yes so please if we have that particular video let's bring it on and then we'll dig you know some more into it the context of Divergence why are we all preaching different things um the Bible says that we should communicate one with another you know through himy songs of the spirit and all of that now the concept of chant are embedded in singing to ourselves in songs and sounds of the spirit but let's listen to what she said and then we give it context I hear the latest thing that music Minister doing now is what they call chanting chanting chanting what is chanting repeating one or two lines for over one hour and they call it Spirit spiritism coming through the back door vo coming through the back door uh Asal projection coming through the back door in the name of Music we have to start fixing some things right in this area so that people are not swayed every song every teaching every message is only inspired to the degree to which it draws his inspiration from the inspired word of God I don't care who the songwriter is if what he wrote does not agree with the word of God and it is in public space we will we will attack it we will attack it and scrutinize it like the song they just said I scrutinize and people are shouting channels of my spirit open up what channels even in the Old Testament there's no scripture that say you have channels are you a monster of my are you a monster some say Dr D does not understand English chel means transportation system what are you transporting dang go crude oil or what what are you transporting when people are protecting childhood fantasies it keeps showing how stupid they are there's no scripture that says you have channels in your spirit there's no such scripture don't let sentiments and emotionalism mess you up when it comes to Bible teaching we are not emotional we're not sentimental we look at the text of scripture there's nothing like channels for your spirit in Bible and there's something like chanting Bible says let the word of God dwell in you richly where you now begin to teach and admonish in Psalms hymns spiritual songs if that chanting is of the spirit it will have interpretation but it doesn't have interpretation because it's not tongues it's not tongues tongues are not chanting tongues are not chanting it's not of God just crash it stay with what is safe I'm teaching here stay with what is safe singing is actually teaching is supposed to be to teach and bring back to your remembrance the realities of Christ from scripture to refresh your mind am I communicating at all because singing is sustain talking sustain talking what are you talking you are talking what the scriptures teach Paul said even if if it is I or or an angel from heaven preach anything other than what is already written let him be accured AC course means anat yeah first of all just listening to you again if are you saying that in holistically there is nothing as a chant or there is something you would rather bring light on as chant because what then is the concept of singing in the spirit okay so um the context in which I was dealing with this because it's a whole teaching and the context is simply this I grew up in Assemblies of God and back in the days I was in the choir we used to chant what was chanting for us was the leader will say a word you will repeat he will say a word he will repeat he will say a word you'll repeat but these are words that have meanings okay okay like Jesus Jesus he's coming he's coming you know we chanted like that and even today there are churches that chant like that that chant is okay the chant I'm dealing with here is a chant that has no meaning meaningless chants that has stretched over a period of time just like it is done in Voodoo or done in um uh in in spiritism where it just expose your soul to a lot of stuff okay that's what I'm dealing with here and then also we have to understand that chanting is not the gift of the spirit and it's not holy spirit because Worship in spirit is worship in tongues and tongues have meaning that's why the Bible says let him that speak in tongues pray that he may interpret because they have meaning and tongues are not chants tongues are things we speak we speak in Psalms hyms spiritual spiritual there is pneumaticos it means we speak in things of the spirit and things of the spirit have meaning but those chants have no meaning that's where the issue is and once you begin to communicate to Brethren in things that have no meaning they are not edified and the Bible says everything has to be done to the use of edification it has to edify and if it's not edifying it's it's something else it's no more Ministry so when we are talking about um channels of my spirits there is the the context of um organs of interaction with the spirit my eyes my ears my mouth and all of that so it might be the choice of the word Channel but sometimes what if these ministers are referring to organs of interaction with The Spirit Well the Bible doesn't teach that see again when it comes to Bible teaching you stay with the Bible we don't read our thoughts we don't read our nuances we don't read our ideas into the scriptures that's Ines we do exuses and because worship or uh singing because again singing is just a minute part of worship I hope you know worship is not a song worship is our view of God in Christ which will translate into the fact that if we're not going to sing as part of our worship of God in Christ it has to be meaningful as it exalts the finished work of Christ so the Bible didn't teach that you have channels in fact somebody quoted this from somebody sent me a mail after watching this he said Dr D is like you don't know your Bible very well the Bible says out of your belly shall flow rivers of Living Water in chter 7 but the Bible says this piy of the spirit that they will receive and if there's going to be rivers of Living Water it's not coming from the believer is coming from Jesus because Jesus is the baptizer we receive he releases the spirit to us and then also the rivers there is symbolic of the spirit and it is coming from Jesus not from the believer so again there's no teaching in the Bible you know that says you have channels there's none at all and there's no point trying to force it into the scriptures it's not there your spirit and God's spirit is one and there's nothing flowing out of you to anywhere all right great conversation we've been having this morning with Dr Abel D lead pastor of Power women that's how they pray for their husbands to be saved father save him save him theyve prayed it for seven years the man is getting more and more stubborn they wonder why oh God why you're praying a prayer that doesn't have answer some husbands are praying such prayers for their wife oh Father save my wife save my wife save father does not save father won't save him and you will find the that's a program initiative that you brought about what is it really about and what was the inspiration so 5 years ago so um I've been teaching the gospel of Christ for years but then I wanted to have feedback and I prayerfully began to ask the Lord what to do to have feedback from people and the lord gave me the idea of ask the counselor and I began to ask myself so what do I do am I just going to sit down alone and talk about it or what what am I going to do and I had the idea of getting Michael Bush the boss to come on set with me and ask me the questions okay so I I you know I approached him then we were not close I approached him and I just told him look I want you to be the one to Anchor my ask the counselor show and I'm going to pay you just charge me whatever you want me to pay he says no I don't charge I said no no no wait wait wait wait wait if you charge me you have not committed sin you're a business person I need to pay you for it you know and he says no I don't want to be paid I said you better collect money because it's a 30-day program and I'm going to keep you here for 30 full days and I'm going to engage you for hours charge me let me pay so that you know that what to context what did Jesus mean by call no one your father he was talking about the Pharisees and the Sadducees the false prophet he says call none of this in that context call none of these false prophets your father for there's only one Father in heaven so now what's the meaning of the word father is the word p in the Greek p means a source a nourisher one who nourishes you one who feeds you concept of uh being a Believer is is quite de deep though you have simplified it but I think in the larger context it's deep talking about the false Brethren the false um teachings false um congregants now my question is at what point does a Believer get in build with the Holy Spirit and the power that comes with it okay okay thank you sir thank you for thank you for asking so the Bible teaches us that Jesus speaking to Nicodemus in John chapter 3 he says that which is born of flesh is flesh that which is born of the spirit is Spirit which means to be born again is to be born of the spirit so the moment a man is born again he receives the spirit of God the spirit of God is domiciled in him the moment you're born again because you're born of the spirit the spirit is domiciled and because the spirit of God is domiciled in The Believer everything that Jesus did on the cross in the grave and upon his resurrection all of the grace and the giftings of God are domiciled in The Believer because the spirit of that reality is domiciled in The Believer like I always teach God gives you nothing again after salvation Salvation is the full package of God's Graces and giftings in The Believer then the believer now begins to grow in the knowledge of that which happened at the point of Salvation that's where the power begins to find expression the more you grow in that knowledge the more the power of God finds expression that's why Paul prayed for the church in Ephesus in Ephesians chapter 1:16 he says I heas not to give thanks for you making mention of you my prayers that the god of our Lord Jesus Christ the father of Glory may give unto you the knowledge and wisdom of the spirit okay and then he says that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know the word eposis again that you may know number one that you may know the hope of his calling number two that you may know the riches of his inheritance number three that you may know the exceeding greatness of his power towards what who believe according to the working of his mighty power which he wrought in Christ when he raised from the dead that you might know not that you may have
