uh Jerry was just talking about how you know you're a gadget guy who can do all kinds of different things even then when it's not like designed like that what do you think you've shown as far as trying to make this team again uh for myself I'm just coming here and just proving myself all over again uh trying to get 1% better every single day throughout Camp uh throughout these times and come out here and just just play my brand of football and I just try to put great things on tape every single day and uh it's it's not it's a testament to everybody inside our building uh learned a whole bunch over this past year and uh this summer going into this this season so I'm I'm excited for whatever was next when you think about your vers IL both as a running back what you can do on special teams what I guess is the case for how you can provide enough to give value to this team yeah for myself I've always been a guy that whatever is asked of me throughout a program an organization I'm going to go and do I'm going to put my head down I'm I'm going to go attack it with hard work whether that's be returning whether that be in the back field whe that be a receiver whatever I have to do to to give myself an opportunity to help this team win I'm going to do do you have butterflies heading into Tuesday or what's the feeling uh I feel like I've done everything like can do as far as uh the the hard work and the preparation and just doing everything I can do to put my best foot forward and uh now it's put in the gu's hands and uh at this point to take these days off and be with my family and uh just be thankful for the babits opportunity how do you feel like the handing impacted your preseason overall I feel like for myself uh it's my first time really battling adversity with uh like a soft tissue injury so for myself I kind of looked at it as a way for myself to kind of battle back from that and uh it was it was hard it was tough uh missing that first game missing two weeks was uh not exactly what I wanted uh as far as the way I want this training camp to start but uh I was able to pick myself back up get healthy be patient and uh come out here and play play my my football you and Cooper B got a lot of love from your Kansas State family what does it mean to have him on this team that's my guy man uh just from playing with him at Kansas State and now being able to do on this level right here we talked about this uh whenever he was training down in uh Texas uh throughout this past offseason and even we were at Kansas State uh would' be amazing to play at this type of level together so so for it to come to fruition and for him to be playing this well as well um man I'm super excited for his his future and I'm super excited to be here with him you're in the Huddle there with Trey of course for most of the game obviously when you look on paper you know five interceptions is tough but from the first two he bounces back you know with the touchdown drives we saw some of his athleticism what stands out to you going to battle with him and how he handled to that yeah just how calm he stays in the Huddle as well uh like he's always understand that he's going to make a play on that next play whatever happens then uh we're going to refocus reset we're going to keep going so for myself it helps a whole bunch for myself the guys in the Huddle whenever you get back in your quarterbacks looking at you with calm minds and he's ready to go no matter what just happened on that last play so uh for myself like you see uh the way that he played after some of the adversity was was was big time man how can you describe the potential you've seen from him not only in these games but in Camp overall about what his ceiling could be he has potentially to be a great player you know and for him I feel like throughout this en time in training camp he's gotten better every single day that's one thing that we talked about throughout it for myself that's how I look at it he getting better every single day so that whenever it's time to go and put the fire in the field we can roll um he's a great leader uh he's a great teammate he's a great guy uh and when we get on that field man you see the athleticism you see the the traits that he has man and uh man I'm super excited for his future awesome appreciate y'all
