What the Symbols Next To Messages Mean In Facebook Messenger

so in today's Tech tip I'll be showing you what this little circle means when you send a message so you can see this little uh empty circle right there when you send a message on Facebook Messenger now what that means is the message has not been sent okay so basically the message has not left your phone to go to the recipient's phone and the reason for that might be you don't have mobile internet data or Wi-Fi so as you can see my phone is currently in flight mode that's why you're able to see that uh unsent icon if I turn off flight mode the message should be sent so just wait give it a couple of seconds and now you should see the check mark a little check mark inside that Circle and that says the message has been sent now to know if the recipient has received the message now this basically means the message has been sent and has arrived to the recipient's phone but to know that the recipient has actually read the message I'll need to see their recipient's profile picture so once I see it just below or once that check mark changes into a profile picture I'll know the recipient has read the message so as soon as the recipient opens a message just like that that changes into a profile icon the recipient's profile icon and that's what basically those read receipts the check marks and the circle mean in Facebook Messenger thanks for watching leave your comments and questions down below and good luck
