okay guys so what you're going to need is an extension a ratchet a 78 oxygen sensor socket with a 38 drive and um also your phone's camera you'll be able to see uh behind the motor so right here I probably should have disconnected the connector first that's why you see the wiring kind of tangled up with the socket but I was still able to crack it Loose um and right now I'm just going to loosen up the socket so I can be able to start getting to the uh connector okay so right here I'm trying to find the connector uh from the wiring harness to the connector and um one thing I didn't show was the uh one thing I was struggling with was that the I can unplug the connector it was really hard but one thing I didn't know was that it's actually connected to like a bracket so if you just hold the connector and you slide it down it'll give you access to that Brack to the connector so I'm going to show you guys real quick um hold up where is it so right here if right here is the connector if you just slide it down it'll be way easier to disconnect it and here's the old one and here's the new one uh with the old in with the new one down there in the little hole okay um so I wasn't able to thread it in properly I don't know why but I started cleaning it with a battery terminal cleaner and just spray some WD40 in there and then just start uh cleaning it up with the little brush and this is also a good thing you can do for your um ABS sensor the little hole where the sensor goes into you can do that anday some spray some wd4 and start cleaning it like how I'm doing little tips and tricks I'm threading it in right now okay so right here I'm actually I'm crying from relief uh so I muted this part of the video so I just have the voice over right now and uh I was struggling to thread it in so badly uh the trick is to hold the wire and thread it in as you're holding the wire and once you feel like the wire has tension you can let go of the wire and restart all over again all righty sensor should be nice and tight spend the connector that disconnected from much is right here here plug it back in and we should be good to go little bracket just connected to but I can't find it I think it's some here but the same time I really want to do all that I think okay yep slide it up into the bracket okay I don't know if I can trying to see if I can show you guys let me see little bracket right here goes into you'll feel it you can feel it it's like a little metal piece has a little hole in the middle I think it's right there hey guys thank you so much for watching um I will post a link from 1A Auto in the description below on how to do the front O2 sensor um just in case you get confused from my video and you can see how they did it um to help you know how to like slide down the connector from the bracket and how to disconnect the connector I wasn't able to really show that um so you can use that video as a reference and then you can come back to my video or just keep watching their video uh whatever helps you know but thank you guys
