Burgess Brothers/Williams Family Concert for Finding Freedom Ranch

Intro well good evening to you all um just a couple quick announcements uh before we get rolling um you'll see in the back in the narx area there's a table we have uh t-shirts there and a couple people have asked if they were for sale but um as a token of appreciation to what the the Lord has done and the blessings they're uh they're free to take at the end of the concert while supplies last so be free uh sure to check with them as you're exiting and we'll uh get you a t-shirt Lord willing um and then also um it was I think announced we there's a free will offering so when you exit um there'll be baskets that uh few of the uh children will be holding so if the Lord leads you to uh to leave an offering we'd appreciate that so um yeah for those of you who don't know who I am my name is Ryan AKA Homer Burgess and I am the President of uh finding Freedom Ranch so on behalf of the finding Freedom Ranch team I would just like to thank you all for taking time out of your Saturday evening to join us in thanking the lord for what he has done and is doing in finding Freedom Ranch and uh also taking time away from uh I think there's a pretty important football game I think that's going on I was I was told this morning um and I see him sitting back there uh mun Mike D had to remind me that that game was going on so if you happen to see him jump up and shout yes that's because he's watching the game not moved by the spirit so um so yeah we just thank you all for for coming and uh and we especially want to thank the the Burgess Brothers and the Williams f family uh for so graciously donating their time and talents for this evening and uh we're just so excited to worship with them this evening so thanks to them um so I'd just like to take a few minutes and uh let you all know what we've been up to um and if you're if you are here and don't know uh about finding Freedom Ranch I urge you to go to our website at finding freedom ranch.org and there you can find some podcasts and some videos that share the vision and stories about what we are all about so it's been exactly about one year since we were gathered in this same Sanctuary for a Shane and Shan concert and in that time the Lord has bless blessed finding Freedom Ranch abundantly in that time just a few uh points to share we finalized site plans met with and hired Oatman Excavating to do that work the Lord answered our prayer for the filling of a vacated treasur position and brought us Jen Heiser and I just like to give a public thanks to uh Tam Kyper who who filled that position up until that so thank you to her we planned and held our first annual finding freedom on the fairway golf outing which was a huge success and uh stay tuned for next year we will be doing the same thing in may we had a dedication of our land in June ground was broken on that piece of property in July News 8 covered a story on finding Freedom Ranch in August our road on the property was put in and as of Thursday of this week we have a base coat of ashalt so I encourage you all to go out there and drive it and see see what the property looks like if you get a chance um we filled our development director position opening and welcome Carolyn Timmer to our team and we're excited to have her uh we produced our first uh newsletter and uh that was sent out and encourage you to go to our website and you can sign up uh to to get a copy of that and uh so you see that beautiful handiwork that's uh that's Carolyn's work so um and then currently we are working on and producing a promotional video with the help of match frame to share our message so as you hear we have been busy and the Lord has been so good so with that being said now comes the difficult part that most of us never like to do and that is ask we ask that you prayerfully consider partnering partnering with finding Freedom Ranch financially as we strive to bring to fruition Michigan's first biblically based impatient eating disorder home for adolescent girls it is our goal to raise $600,000 in additional funds in God's timing so that we can start construction of our first building our community needs this place and especially the young ladies struggling with this disorder please help help us make this Vision come true let us pray dear heavenly father we are gathered here this evening to give you thanks and praise your Holy Name the name above all names dear Lord we are so grateful and a struck at the working of your hands in and through finding Freedom Ranch Lord we just ask that you continue to guide us guide our hearts and our minds with the love of Jesus Christ as we seek forward seek to push forward this Venture dear Lord we also ask for patience the patience to know that this Vision will come to fruition in your timing for your timing is perfect Heavenly Father we would like to lift up to you the moms and transformed groups that are currently meeting we thank you for the christm minded women who so diligently lead these support groups and ask for your hands to be at work in their hearts and Minds as they strive to give these moms and young ladies struggling through the eating disorder battle The Hope and the peace that can only be found in you and finally dear Lord we ask that you keep us humbly reminded that finding Freedom Ranch is and will never be the Savior for these young ladies but you are so help us all keep our eyes transfixed on the cross filling our hearts with joy at the love of Our Savior Jesus Christ It's All About Him amen so with no further Ado I'll invite the the Williams up and uh if going gez uh maybe to write some words down on a piece of paper something and see what it sounds like so I I did that and uh it was good for my heart and I believe my soul also and and a lot of times for the people that get a chance to witness what this family help us record um it's a in my dreams it was coming to me no no one ever says anything about that baby and uh got to be careful her have boogers coming out but uh in this song it's a it's the voice of an unborn child he he can't he can't see he can only hear about the world that is so near but he hears a voice about a woman's choice have a short uh video um and our and our renderings are in the back too it's just uh give you a little a vision ofh what this place uh could look like and uh if you're not familiar where exactly it is it's on 144th if you're familiar where moling Christian School is it's directly across the street um so we have approximately nine acres there so and it comes off Hill Crest so if you were to go back to moling uh CRC First Street Hill Crest on the right and you'll go right into uh our property so if uh you're ever out in that area if you take a look at it but I just first want to just uh give a public uh thank you to some uh some people that have generated or uh generously given of their time and uh and some of the contractors we've worked with thus far so just want to give a big thank you to uh Dale Val house uh Dale originally drew our our buildings for us and uh he sat down and listened to us and uh he put those together for us so we're just so so thankful to him um EXL engineering is who we uh worked with to uh work on the site plan that engineered the site plan um give a big thank you to uh Al Talsma he's been kind of our our guy on the on the site there making sure all the te's are crossed and the dotted or the eyes are dotted for us and uh we want to give a big thank you to Al um Oatman Excavating uh is who we hired to uh to do the site work and uh we're thankful for thankful to Steve and the work that them guys have done uh give a thank you to Black Gold they're the the ones that just did the ashphalt work um and then you see them beautiful renderings and then in this video that we're going to have it's it's very short but uh you see these be the beautiful work and that was done by Dan boss construction we're just so thankful to them and then uh big thank you to uh D and D Building who is uh who we've hired to do the construction so yeah just a a big thank you to uh the time and and some of this was donated to these PE by these people and we're so thankful always get asked are you part of the big burges family and or you part of Burgess concrete or but uh we what's that Jim yeah but uh no these uh I Carl was going to in I'm just going to give a short introduction Carl but okay they're uh they really are like family these uh We've Come to to know them so well and uh so yeah even though we're not super close in in proximity and relation but uh we kids instead of my brothers my son hung out more with them than I did you know and you got that picture by the way yeah there we go this is the way we used to look I I had a niece who C who who actually texted me on Facebook and she said you need a new picture and I'm like we wouldn't fit on that picture anymore and you'll notice there's only two of us with cheaters on now look yeah it's all getting we go down to Florida thanks to Laur and Duke I don't know if Duke appreciates us always coming down he don't he doesn't no we go fishing we go fishing the women go down we don't know what they do they don't tell us but we often go to Lord's place in Florida and we we we do some fishing and here's a story that may or may not be true one late night this guy here Dave headed out to the hot tub puts his foot in stops yells out was I getting in or out of the hot tub Paul over there yells back I don't know I'll come out and see he started up the stairs he stopped he yelled was I going up the stairs or was I going down lore here sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee she hears her brothers in trouble she just shakes her head she says I sure hope I never get that forgetful she knocked on wood for good luck and then she yelled I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door I remember unfortunately it could be true yeah this song we're going to start out
