Donald Trump Gets BOOED At FOOTBALL GAME Tonight!

um Don is there another Trump than Trump the provocator I mean he can't seem to help himself from using personal tax and focusing on personal vendettas is there any point to even asking can he change no there is no other Donald Trump but this is who he's always been but you know every every shtick every non-substantive jig always comes to an end unfortunately for the country and real people who suffered under this Trump regime people died people suffered uh while he held a death grip on the Republican party but no there is no other Trump and there never has been you know I really go back to 2010 when I saw a lot of the worst elements that Trump represents really being germinated in the form of the tea party but the Republican Party embraced that because those people were more inclined to vote R but there have been a it has been a non-substantive party for a whole long time and Trump is a symptom of that he is not the root cause of that but there is no other Trump this is the act this is the thing lindsy Graham is a very Savvy politician and what we just heard is him recognizing that this era coming to an end but there's no way for Trump to imbue himself with some type of substantive wisdom in the next 79 days that does not mean that Republicans cannot win Democrats still have an extraordinary Outreach and uh and and and registration and making sure people are prepared to vote lift but there will be no pivot to substance that a bunch of Republican buckety Moncks are somehow suddenly for after 10 years yeah you know Susan there's this thought that uh this honeymoon period for Harris that eventually Trump and Republicans will settle on real Attack lines that focus on the issues it does not seem to be happening and then after the convention um would there be time for Republicans to try to define the vice president the way they want to there certainly will be time after the convention um although the first votes are cast in mid to late September via um early voting the American public will start really tuning in at that point the de the Republicans have lost an important critical opportunity to start defining uh vice president Harris however they're going to get a lot more bites at the Apple if we think about what's happened in the last month in American politics it's not hard to imagine the month of September being equally Topsy Turvy and the other thing that's so important to remember is that we are divided I don't care who the Republican and who the Democrat were on the top of the ticket for the most part this was going to be a close race it's going to come down to a few States and and a few you know maybe less than a 100,00 voters so I I expect that that Trump's team will start to get on a message but lindsy Graham is so interesting to watch I just have to go back to that for a minute I mean he's willing to kind of go after Trump a little bit on his on his uh campaigning but more importantly in that interview he had such kind words for Joe Biden which will surely get the president former president verying yeah he doesn't want to hear that so David Von Hillyard told us yesterday that the Trump rally Arena was not filled to the rafters and about 30 minutes or so into Trump's speech that crowd started trickling out slowly um Trump defended his choice to give these very long speeches while also forgetting which state he was in listen up a guy's waiting with his family for three and a half four days they have a tent and the tent is set up they have hundreds of them and they wait and then I walk in speak for 15 minutes and leave I don't know somehow would that be okay North Carolina um yeah he was in Pennsylvania does this point to the general sense that Trump's ramblings are wearing on his supporters oh absolutely look Donald Trump's a hero in his own mind he always will be but what we're seeing from these events is he's more like the Aging rock star whose fans have kind of faded away and so it's more like a reunion tour for him it just doesn't quite have the spark it had in 2016 and the lack of enthusiasm is there as well and he's not helping himself Lindsey Graham's comments are very serious to have Lindsey Graham of all people the senator from South Carolina despite all his flip-flopping on Trump call out Donald Trump as being a candidate off message ineffective and likely to lose to vice president Harris and he's right Lindsey Graham is Right Donald Trump will likely lose to vice president Harris as we stand here today what the Trump Camp needs to do it's not throw the whole kitchen sink at her which is what they've been trying to do they missed their opportunity to Define her and now they're throwing everything from communism to socialism to immigration to Stolen Valor everything nothing sticking I think the only thing that dramatically changes this race is an inter intervening International or domestic event beyond our sight right now a debate performance that perhaps changes thing a haris stumble or the only offensive tool that Trump could really do is a Willie Horton style ad something that is so specific not General so specific that they're trying to tie to to vice president Harris that it sticks but right now Donald Trump is a candidate incapable of doing that and at this point it's the vice president's race well certainly um Don did you want to say something apparently you CHP chomping at the bit yeah yeah thanks Alice I've tried to make this point last week quite inarticulately it cannot happen short of some catastrophic event like David and Susan point out the reason why is because a campaign and an Administration are more than just a candidate a campaign is made up of people who've been doing this for the last 10 15 years and the people on the Republican side who have been doing this working campaigns all around the country they don't know how to run substantive campaigns there's no message discipline there's no idea of how to Pivot and respond to an extraordinarily substantive camp Cate on the other side and that's because they came up in the mold of their spiritual leader Donald Trump who knows nothing of this other than to lovate confiscate and call names I know it'd be easy especially now our politics has been pretty ugly our politics has seemed pretty negative our politics is something that I know uh what I fear most is is that young people turn away from it rather than turning into it politics isn't that much different than this it's about something bigger than themselves it's about setting a future goal and trying to reach it it's about doing it with dignity and hard work it's about doing it with humility and when you lose you walk across the field and you shake hands with the other team and know they played hard too but we're all in it together to try and make it better and things like investing in this public school and having I can't imagine what this place looks like when it's filled with folks and the lights are on and the leaves are turning and that game's in the fourth quarter and somebody has to make that play somebody has to step up and you look to each side of you and you know I trust them I trust them make that play our country's not that different our neighbors want to be with you our neighbors want to do what's right and the more we figure out that we're in this thing together and we have more in common than we have separated um we're going to do a heck of a lot better so I have to tell you thanks for taking some time thanks for giving us the privilege to stand on this field because uh you earn the right to be on this field you earn it with a lot of sweat you earn it with a lot of time in the waight room you earn it with the folks who came before you and know that they care how you conduct yourselves on this and we feel the same way we have a responsibility to the American public to conduct ourselves with dignity conduct ourselves with a vision and to conduct ourselves in all of this when football's done right it is just fun as heck to play the game and that's the way things can be so I have to tell you I am just honored to be with this leader I'm honored with someone who's showing us set I'm honored with someone who's out doing politics with a smile on her face and with a sense of that everybody matters and we're here in this place to say it's not just a cliche our future is with you and we have a responsibility to deliver it to you in good shape to make sure that we're doing the right things to give you a good shot at the future and so for me it's a privilege to be on this team it's a privilege to see this leader do it with such joy as you're well aware uh the vice president and Governor Wallace they're on that bus tour in Pennsylvania right now Donald Trump spoke there yesterday and Associated Press says that the vice president's reversal on policy issues like fracking that are important to people in Pennsylvania opens the door to attacks by Republicans how will the campaign handle these kinds of challenges look I mean Alex we know that Donald Trump he's not right on the issues he's not fighting for American families he's fighting for himself he's running for president in part because he wants to keep himself out of out of jail he's a convicted felon that is different than when he first ran for president that is something that has changed since he ran for president uh you know the last time on the ticket in 2020 uh but he's he's trying to distract because he's not right on the issues invite the vice president is making it clear to voters where she stands that she is fighting for American families that she is putting the desires and the needs of American families first that is what she thinks about every single day when she wakes up how am I going to improve the lives of the American people Donald Trump wakes up and thinks about himself so she's continuing to make that contrast every single day on the campaign campaign Trail we've seen Donald Trump look more and more unhinged uh he's made made some crazy erratic statements more erratic than usual uh which is saying a lot about Donald Trump on the campaign Trail because he's worried about the vice president he sees her Rising the polls you know he he sees that the fact that she's bringing Independence young voters voters of all types into her fold and he understands that she uh that the American people are are are aligning with her vision that they're aligning with her message so what they're noting there is that Trump has become more erratic he has lost any semblance of message discipline and the reason is that he knows the Boom is coming we know that that for the next week the focus is going to be or at least for the next few days the focus is going to be on the Democrats and usually what happens is there's a convention bump so Trump already had his convention didn't really get a bump because it was a nut bar convention because one of his goons tried to shoot him or did shoot him but tried to take him out it was a republican crook shooting another Republican crook no one gives a damn anymore and now now it's Harris's turn so Trump is being forced to sit there in front of his TV on his couch at marao or wherever the hell he is watching this and the thing is he was able to stay quiet for a little bit do you remember when Biden really after that debate you know a lot of people are asking Biden to step down there that's what the the news quickly became about and Trump during that time showed some discipline by simply not saying very much and everyone's like where's Donald Trump for the first time maybe since he became president the first time right when he first won that election he actually shut the hell up and let the story not be about him which is bad for his ego but good for his electoral chances because the more people hear him the more they hate him but now he can't help himself he can't hide away right now one because he hates that Harris is winning and two when you need to catch up you actually need to do something if you're leading you can play defense and hide away you know if Harris has a massive lead two days before election day she might you know have a bit of a lighter schedule but if you need to score points in the fourth quarter you need to make some plays and every play Trump
