Modern everyone and welcome to the decks of the weekend in front of me I have an Amalia deck and uh yeah Amalia go abandon Pioneer but as you may know it's IL legal it's legal in modern and uh this deck that in front of me won a very large event in uh the the Nordic Master uh this was a uh it's on G and it was a um 11 rounds with two days and Amalia got there in eighth place and went all the way winning the whole event lots of different decks uh as it always happens in paper I'll show them on my channel in the next days we got Martyrs we got mer folks I'm not going to show Ruby store but we also got that and um this was uh something I did not expect so what do we have here well one of the most important cards is for sure birthing ritual which is able to uh pick up your combo it's able to make sure that you can sacrifice a cauldron familiar and just uh get whatever you want mostly uh from your deck you have couple of combos you have both the Amalia waga walker and a life Gainer or S Scout as well as Sam wise gamji that combos with visir uh and kro familiar you have four of those um so it's a lot of different combos two different combos in a shell with cord of calling there's also G the goose which is a Mana ramp better than light because it makes the food to help some gamji uh ability um so yeah overall this is a creature combo deck that nobody had on their radar uh post band of Nadu uh but I guess alongside yug moth will be a creature combo deck to to to do well with uh today on stream I played um yog mooth it will be up on the next days that deck doesn't play birthing ritual anymore uh actually that was going to be my my deck of the weekend before uh this um before Amalia uh won the Nordic Masters uh Nadu sorry yoth is now playing with malol and Rumble and C familiar very good so yeah basically like Nadu was hovering all those other creature combo Decks that are now viable again because they're powerful again I'll uh hold my thoughts on Amalia but being able to to to to do uh being able to do you know 13 31 uh in 17 rounds is definitely no joke so Props uh to um Thomas monk for this achievement uh let's go over to another form that s ban but that actually didn't change too much uh blue Legacy cator okay so why did I choose this deck well this is very similar to uh what was before this de won the uh MTG uh showcase by Max tortion and uh it is not different at all than the Legacy that we had before the issues with Legacy are definitely very uh how do you say like eradicated now may are not issues you just accept that this color combination is just Superior and it's probably something that should have been uh explored before just peering in body made dead and reanimate with powerful disruption like force of f days and thoughts is is a recipe for the win psychic frog obviously pushed this archetype to the Moon uh this is a fantastic card in Legacy it's basically J Arcanist that also FS your graveyard uh by discarding a large uh creature into into the graveyard actually missed Grizzle brand today I played this list and um I I record a video I'll be up on the channel as always and I miss G A brand it's fine to say cuz like you often just so used to this too but I don't know that like uh um they can stop the ATB or you just they can like kill your creature and it hasn't done too much value whereas graza brand draw seven cards ATT tracks in this deck I drew three maybe maybe it wasn't lucky but um anyway uh so this is a super powerful deck uh that will remain the superior blue I mean I was going to say fair obviously is not fair the blue Tempo deck you can still play DRC and those type of decks but I think I think it's just slightly weaker than this one um Honestly though I'm not unhappy that this deck is around because I want to keep on playing my goari credit control deck if you have never heard of that I made a VI with that deck too and this deck is it's fine against this 50/50 against this but is that keeps in check all the combo Decks that are around so and so I'm happy I'm happy about that um I have the Four Season Legacy this weekend I am very excited to play uh my um uh credit controlling Legacy although I recognize that this deck is the best one and I know that I'm not playing the best deck just like I did that in Spain when I I top hat with that deck so I recognize the the possibility uh although I I want to embrace it so yeah this this is the deck by the way but guess you can you can check the video with this we have natural order and uh Behemoth and such all right let's go now to the last uh Pauper format the format of the people um I played uh popper this weekend instead of going to the uh modern rcq uh I already I already won one two weeks ago but I had a modern rcq my area that I was going to go but I said you know what there was a um EP qualifier and popper 57 players gathered I was one of them although I didn't last much because I went I went uh I went uh um one two I was playing blue red scred with the narrativ because this card sucks I was playing for Ponder uh but I was playing this charge over Ling bolt but let's not focus about my deck let's focus about the deck of the weekend for popper it is nonetheless than turbo fog uh my good friend David masesi keeps on doing well with this deck he toped two of them uh then he splits and leave but I'm sure that you can go to distance with this deck um it is um I've also made a video with this deck that you can check on the channel of course I make videos with mostly everything but the goal of this deck it is something that is very hard to do in normal format uh you actually fog your opponent to death with moments peace tangle fog you have weathered the storm to gain a lot of life um tangle is like nor namically weird cuz it's like an uncommon but it's legal because a magical line it was as you can see here a common then you have a lot card Advantage with ftic inventory accumulate knowledge arcan denial your own spell this is a play I love to do in premodern you can actually go like weather the storm uh gain let's say storm equal three you play weather the storm and then you areni one of the storm um spells and you just draw three next turn so all you do is just this heavy card Advantage you make all the land dropes with grow spiral and you have four bounce land too so you make all the lands you draw and fog draw in fog and eventually you win with Scream of thoughts this is the mill we replicate so you tap nine you Mill 12 or you tap five you meal eight you shuffle cards you done deck first it's basically like your opponent can see if the opponent is an expert player then I kind of can seeed and go to the sideboard quickly and then post sideboard is that as meming Mystic which is a great B plan so make sure to not s out your scers now out because this deck will bring the memory Mystic against you and and then H they will try to play this game where they have like counter spells dis spells uh so it's not only about Milling plus side they also just protect their murmuring Mystic and just win you with that so uh but again this is a definitely a capable deck and the spider looks like a meme it is not a joke uh there's a problem of timing if the opponent is like maybe not expert uh they don't concede game one you kind of have to stay there until you maill them out and maybe you lose one of the games and you actually can don't have enough time to win game three so it's not something I would play but it's not something I'm happy to play against but it's something that is in the Forma and some people enjoy that I'm not saying that if too many of people choose to play this deck it's good for the format but if there's one or two that does well every once in a while I'm happy to Showcase it uh the final was between two mono blue Delver and uh so that is definitely one of the best decks it is going to be the deck that I recorded with and I'll post soon uh but yeah the mono blue Delver doing very well these days um that's it I think I talked enough about magic as always thank you for watching I will be going to Four Season this weekend Friday I'll be playing the team event with P Tero I'll be playing vintage Saturday I'll play premodern cuz I love to play the premodern main event uh which is actually out Side Event there's like 36 people people it's not too many but I love to play premodern and then on Sunday I'll play the Legacy main event with over 200 300 people in the meanwhile on Saturday there's also the elm the European Legacy Masters unfortunately I didn't qualify for that event I got very close uh but did not qualify so I will be uh looking at the side cheering for my country mate is very something very cool that I
