cabat Phillips and I'm joined tonight by Natalie Winters co-host of Steve bannon's War Room Natalie thanks for being here thank you so much for having me it's going to be a fun night hopefully it's not I don't know fun is the word I'd use but something like that fun for everyone at home watching us not for America watch the convention but it's going to be a lot of fun regardless tonight is the fourth and final night of the convention and it's going to be packed taking the stage will be Elizabeth Warren Gretchen Whitmer Mark Kelly and of course kamla Harris delivering her keynote address we'll also be hearing some maybe musical performances from Taylor Swift or Beyonce we're hearing they might make a surprise appearance but one man we know for sure will be making an appearance is Michael nolles he'll be with us all night long and of course now the man himself Ben Shapiro gonna help us break down everything that's gone down this week so Ben we'll get to kamla Harris but first uh I want your reaction to what we've seen in Chicago so far to this point I hate all of it every single bit of it it's all terrible I mean here is my biggest problem obviously K Harris has been the vice president of the United States for the last three and a half years under Joe Biden and apparently that never happened it was all just a figment of our imagination Joe Biden never existed they had him come out and yell at the moon and then they shipped him off to California they made sure that he didn't speak in prime time and he has not been seen since apparently he's the still sitting president but we really have no idea to be honest and then ever since then we have just been treated to speaker after speaker explaining that Kamala is just Joy she's just Vibes man me she dances and she cooks and and then they bring out Tim Walls and Tim Walls it turns out is also Vibes he's kind of weird Goofy sitcom toad Vibes but he's Vibes too and apparently none of these people have ever held higher office none of these people ever have had an agenda none of them actually have any policies the only thing that we know about kamla Harris is that kamla Harris once worked at McDonald's and also apparently she was a hard charging tough on the border da who wants to lower your taxes which is super weird since I remember this person named kamla Harris and she's been the VP for like three and a half years and she was a Senator before that and then she was Attorney General of California before that but apparently her career actually ended in like 2006 in California and now she's just running for president never heard of this lady before and then when you get to Tim Walls it's as though his career stopped when he was an assistant volunteer coach at a high school somewhere back in the mid 90s and since then he's been you know a multiple term Congress person and a two-term governor of the state of Minnesota where he was totally tyrannical when he wasn't just letting the state burn itself down over BLM but none of that ever happened I mean it's super weird if you feel like you're being gaset it's because you are it's because you are and the media are so complicit in all of this it's time for me to bring out my calendar here it is here it is we are on date 33 of K Harris not being asked any questions after cing out the actual nominee and then providing zero policy answers 33 days of the media not caring at all because they're at the tail end of the human centipede that is the Democratic Party media complex so Ben there seems to be a clear reason that they're not trotting her out in front of the media because she is appearing to gain ground in the polls do you believe those polls that show her up by around three points nationally just how close do you think this race actually is right now so the good news for Trump is that despite a month of non-stop sycophantic drool cup carrying coverage from the media she is up only slightly like with this kind of coverage she should be up 10 there there's no question that you should be up heavily against Trump given the fact that the last month has been spent Just Waxing poetic about what a wonderful human being KL Harris is what a Charming insanely charismatic person she is I mean listen all of us remember because we follow politics closely but most people don't even remember her actual presidential run in 2019 2020 because it was both shortlived and awful and then it was kind of in the past and nobody followed it you really have to be kind of a political junkie to follow the primaries closely enough to pay attention to the candidates who never even make it to the actual voting in the primaries let alone the general election then as vice president she's kind of shuffled off to the back room where they pretended she had a job and she played solitire all day and so now the sort of reintroduction of kamla Harris with this sort of heavy gloss of celebrity on her you would imagine that should boost in the polls you know 10 15 points actually and what's actually boosted her is to about where Joe Biden was at least in that range before he completely collapsed in that debate with Donald Trump and effectively died on the stage and so yes I believe the polls that she is up maybe anywhere from 1 to three points maybe at the outside Four Points the the swing states are all unbelievably close like super close we have seven states that are within margin of error and so what that means is that despite all of these attempts the American people still are not sold on KLA Harris and it seems to me that what what we should be seeing right now is her high water mark it is hard to think of her going up from here absence some sort of serious blunder by President Trump at a certain point you would imagine there's still some 80 some days left until the election at some point she will have to come back to earth it's going to be Trump's job in the debates to make sure that she actually answers for her record but it is unbelievable it's absolutely incredible how the media and Harris have been able to transform her candidacy from a continuation of the man she serves under currently like right now she's the sitting VP into a fight against an incumbent Donald Trump it's as though the last 3 and a half years absolutely don't exist she's slated to speak tonight and what they are telling us is that when she speaks tonight her thematics are going to be about how our nation now has a fleeting opportunity to move past bitterness cynicism and divisive P battles of the past and a chance to chart a new way forward what new Way Forward you're the sitting vice president is that a new way forward normally the message is don't change horses in the middle of the stream her message instead because everyone wants to change horses in the middle of the stream is the stream doesn't exist the horse doesn't exist in fact we're living in 2020 and Joe Biden never existed and so we're brigading this thing we're just going to pluck it out of the Mist and pretend none of this ever existed so do I believe she's up that a long answer do I believe that she's up slightly yes I believe she's up slightly so I think that that definitely lasts I definitely do not and hey Ben it's Natalie Winters here I guess my question for you you know you would expect DNC RNC would give to the respective party a boon in the polls right you'd see at least sort of a a short uptick you haven't really seen that right it's sort of an interesting reversal in that Trend if anything you've seen Donald Trump continue to to gain ground not just in swing States how do you think that sort of shakes out coming off the heels of the DNC but more importantly if RFK Jr comes out tomorrow and endorses the Trump Campaign Will that not take basically all of the air if there is any air uh that the DNC gave to the Harris campaign to begin with well I think the DNC is much more of a continuation of the last 3 weeks than it is anything new so normally in a political cycle nobody pays attention until you actually get to conventions but because everybody knew both of the candidates for so long in Trump and Biden everyone already had their opinions baked in by the time the RNC happened so there was no real bump there for president Trump and everybody knew what was going to happen at the DNC except that they CED him out and they put in KLA Harris and all the warm feelings that a crew to comml Harris that happened instantaneously I mean that was that was right then it was not as though it took a while for that warm feeling to sort of suffuse the Harris campaign literally the moment they took Joe Biden out back and shot him like Old Yeller at that point all of the warm feelings simply lomed onto kamla Harris and and suddenly you know she was spiking in the poles and she's basically been gaining a little bit fading a little bit I wouldn't expect to see any big bump out of the DNC despite all of the warm coverage because again she's been getting nothing but sycophantic drooling media coverage since the day that she became the nominee without ever earning a single primary vote in her entire life so RFK Jr coming forward and endorsing Trump so the math suggests that right now nationally speaking he's pulling at about 4% so between four and 5% and the breakdown in that 4 5% is that it used to be 12% and or 10% everybody who was going to vote for RFK because they did not like Joe Biden went back to K Harris which suggests that the vast bulk of the people who are currently saying they'll vote for RFK are warm toward Donald Trump that that is what Amy Walter at Cook political is suggesting she suggests that by about two to one margin the the RFK vote favors Trump right now so if he moves over to Trump many of those people are likely to move into Trump's category you're talking about slim percentages but again talking about margin of error in many of these states so if you switch one percentage point in Wisconsin or Pennsylvania or Michigan or Georgia or North Carolina or Nevada or Arizona that could be enough to shape the election so Ben I'm interested then on your take on if Trump should cut a deal like it seems like RFK is going to drop out he is going to endorse Trump if there was a a deal in place where that endorsement is coming with a promise of a cabinet position do you think that's a a good trade for the Trump campaign yeah I do I mean I think that at this point it's it's a close enough election that you got to pull out all the stops and if Trump were to leave that on the table I think that would be a mistake in fact you know I I think again that that so much of of what president Trump did at the RNC was about his belief that the election was effectively already won against Joe Biden that this is sort of how view that JD Vance pick as VP I like JD Vance I think JD Vance is a brilliant guy I mean there's just no question about that with that said JD Vance did not win Trump a whole hell of a lot of additional votes he he actually PLL JD Vance in his home state of Ohio it's not as though JD Vance is bringing along huge swaps of people in Michigan Pennsylvania or Wisconsin and so that was really more about Legacy or it was more about him believing that JD Vance's a good attack dog and so he sort of forwent candidates who theoretically could have brought some swing voters people like Glen youngin for example in favor of JD Vance I don't think that he can afford to miss more opportunities like that and so if there is the opportunity to bring RFK Jr on board even if that means giving RFK Jr EPA or something uh then then I think that that Trump will and should do it I'm curious to Ben you know when we say the DNC we're obviously talking about what's going on inside the walls inside the barricades even though those don't work but so much has happened outside too right and I think the Democrats are trying to draw a distinction say we're not you know Cut From the Same Cloth but in reality like you were alluding to the gaslighting that we've seen going on I would argue that what's going on inside the convention is just as radical as what's going on outside they're just hiding it they're just masking it a little better but how do you sort of square what's going on outside the convention with the radical policies being pushed inside I mean that you're totally right I mean I'm looking at the lower hand of the screen and what I'm seeing are a wave of American flags when's the last time that you went to a rally filled with Democrats and it was filled with American flags the answer is pretty much never in fact you're much more likely to spot Democrats in a crowd that's burning an American flag than in a crowd that is flying American flags at say a Fourth of July parade but inside the convention hall it's all rah R USA cheering for American hostages being held by Hamas like we know that that's not the Democratic Party is about which is why all the Jewish groups inside the DNC have been put in unspecified locations so the pramas Nik don't actually assault them on the premises it's pretty obvious that this is the case given the fact that Joe Biden himself went out of his way to say that the protesters have a point I wouldn't be surprised if kamla Harris tries to Pat those people on the head tonight given the fact that some of those people are very angry with her for the DNC even paying homage to the American hostages who are currently being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip so yes I mean the the entire game of the DNC is to prevent anyone from understanding what their policy looks like the only things you have heard from the DNC in terms of policy realistically speaking Lots about abortion really really big into abortion they love the abortion the abortion is huge they're performing them out in the parking lot that's not even a joke that's reality they had an 18 foot high inflatable IUD which is the weirdest idolatry I've ever heard of there those are the kinds of things that actually mean a lot to the Democrats in terms of policy and we know they hate project 2025 which Donald Trump himself has dissociated from so that's that's all you have if you go to Kam is's website there are literally no policy positions but there is the entirety of project 2025 so again this entire convention is about lying to the American people lying over and over and over if you listen to the DNC what you would would believe is that Bill Clinton is just a good old boy from Arkansas who is not endorsing the radical left and also does not have a checker history with women you would believe that Hillary Clinton is a moderate who tried to unify the country rather than somebody who called half the country deplorables you would believe that Barack Obama was a uniter not a divider along polar izing racial lines you believe that Michelle Obama is a signifi is is a signal unifying figure an Oprah likee figure rather than the radical she is on race and politics and which she basically could not even hold back during her speech so it's just lies and lies and moralize it's why I I think that if you have a semblance of of interest in politics or you care about policy at all you can't help but feel irritated by this whole thing because they're peeing on your leg and telling you not only that it's raining but that you have to dance in the rain which is what they're doing literally right now Ben the theme of this week is freedom uh or as KLA Harris famously says Freedom as a young girl marching what do you make of that being the center of their messaging well again I think that the bargain that the Democratic party is basically asking Americans to cut is pretty simple they get to control every aspect of your life but you can have consequence free sex with whomever you want that's that's basically the bargain that is why abortion is so high on their list of priorities it's why they they keep talking about some Phantom threat that Republicans are going to like come in your bedroom and stop you from sleeping with whoever you please as though that's like Donald Trump's topof the agenda item is that that is in the Republican National Committee Playbook or platform or something like that that that is the promise the reality of course is that they don't believe in economic freedom they don't believe in the freedom of our allies they they certainly don't believe in military strength they don't believe in your freedom from government they believe that if you have a child and the child goes to a public school and is gender confused by by a teacher and you disagree with the transition of the child the child should be removed from your home and become a ward of the state as they transition that's literally Tim Wall's position in Minnesota does that sound like freedom to you does does locking people down for covid sound like freedom to you or letting them burn cities sound like freedom but that is what they mean what they mean by freedom in the end is that if you are socially conservative you must be one of those tyrannical people who doesn't want to let the children dance and also wants to like Peak through somebody's Keyhole while they're having sex in their bedroom right that that's that's kind I mean Tim WS basically said that last night and that's the only kind of Freedom that they seem to actually care about is sexual license that's that's pretty much the only I'm I'm having this hard I'm struggling to figure out what they mean by Freedom other than that or the perverse form of sort of philosophically corrupt Freedom pushed by the left that freedom really means putting your hand in somebody else's pocket and then making your way off the back of their money and if that fails then you put your hand deeper in somebody else's pocket socialism is a form of neighborliness of course at least the uh the protesters outside I think have the nerve to admit that they even care about Freedom they want to deprive you of basically all all your rights but I'm curious you know Rolling Stone had a piece out a few days ago saying that oh well because the Harris Waltz campaign has put out camo hats uh Rural and Southern voters are now going to come running back to the Democratic party look at us we we we get you we embrace you sort of in tune with the embracing freedom I didn't know that was a value Democrats held um but even just this gaslighting that you were talking about the pivot to you know liking American flags instead of burning them do you think that plays do you think think that that checks with voters or do you think people can see through it you know I don't think so and I think that one thing that's becoming very clear about this convention is that it is programmed toward the traditional democratic base since 2012 which is a highly a highly concentrated segment of minority voters as well as upper class white liberal women that that that is what the Democratic party has become they keep doubling down to that base have you seen anything on the stage that appeals to say rural white voters without a college degree I've seen nothing remotely like that it just doesn't exist and bringing Out Beyonce by the way is not going to exactly reach out to that crowd either it it's it's it's fascinating to see I mean the media are of course all members of this contingent I mean the the media are of course members of upper class liberal enclaves in New York and DC and Los Angeles and so they resonate very much to this but I do wonder whether the guy who's living in rural Michigan is looking at this and saying to himself hold up I'm paying like 30% more for my groceries over the course of last four years and I'm supposed to believe that kamla Harris is joy and that I I got locked down for Co I'm supposed to believe that Tim Walls is freedom I I just I don't know that they can sustain this level of gaslighting for this maybe they can maybe they can and if they can then the American people democracy is the theory that the American people get what they want good and hard so you know if this is what they choose then I suppose this is what they choose but it's all right out there in the open for people to see if they wish to see it there did seem to be one moment where Tim Walls was trying to make a play to what he called the real Hillbillies when he was saying you know JD Vance went to Yale and you know that's not like any hillbilly I know what do you think it says about the Democratic party where that is a punchline now to say yeah this guy grew up poor and in a family of addiction and he went on to one of the best schools in the country and that's a punchline now what does that tell us about the Democrats well I mean it betrays exactly what they think of people who are rural white voters without a college degree which is apparently they have no life aspirations apparently it's very bad if somebody from your town goes to y you ought to scorn them instead of saying wow that's kind of amazing that this person was able to escape poverty and then make something of themselves by going to y Law School and becoming a vice presidential candidate instead that's supposed to be bad and I I'm confused as to why that is also the the abject hypocrisy of Tim wall saying that on a stage flanked by people who are all graduates of Ivy League schools except for KLA Harris weirdly enough but Hillary Clinton is a graduate of Harvard Law of Yale law school rather Bill Clinton's a graduate of Yale law school Barack Obama's a graduate of Harvard Law School Michelle Obama's a graduate of Harvard Law School like these are all ivy league people and and for and for Tim Walls to be out there being like well yeah we think the Ivy Leagues are bad you own The Ivy Leagues my friend you're the ones who are catering to all the Kamas Niks who are setting up encampments on the ivy league campuses while promoting terrorism so I don't think that washes and again I think this this kind of sneering down the nose at people who are who are supposed Hillbillies by saying well them their Hillbillies they don't even understand what a college is so you and your fancy College learning you got to you you scoring JD JD Vance understands the so-called Hillbillies way the hell better than a socialist like Tim Walls does who spends years at a time in China that's a weird thing I I feel like that doesn't really connect with say the the rust Bel machine worker living in Ohio and I think my favorite uh line from last night might have been Tim wall saying there were 24 high schoolers in my class none of them went to Yale as if that was something to brag about but final question Ben just give us a preview of tonight what should we expecting to hear from KL Harris so much joy G the utter levels of joy unparallel joy just joy and joy so much joy you won't believe the amount of Joy it's going to be coming out your ears Almond Joy Joy detergent Joy everywhere Joy from inside out like all the joys just springing forth from the stage you're going to feel it the laughter is going to be infectious guys she's going to laugh in the whole world will laugh with her there'll be so much emotion so much unity and about this much policy because she will never ever talk about her policies it is the it is the impossibility of this campaign for her to square The Joy with the political chaos that she and her boss who she shived directly in the kidney that that they've brought upon the country so expect a bunch of vague platitudes tonight about bringing the country together I would assume that it's going to be fairly boring I don't think it'll be particularly uplifting I think the media will play it that way but it's honestly I think it's going to be hard for her to top the Beyonce of it I think she's going to sort of ride that wave that is the celebrity culture that is the Democrats I you can see the the chicks they're no longer the Dixie Chicks they're just the Chicks singing uh and um and you know again like that that is what the Democratic National Convention is about it's it's a bunch of Hollywood with a little bit of DC attached all right Ben thank you as always for your analysis we appreciate your time thanks so much all right and now it is time to be joined by first the incomparable Michael nolles who has a fantastic suit that I'm very excited for all of you to see join us the Sultan of sve he's also the host of the Michael show for you sir it's fantastic to see you nice to see you better to see you much better to see you than him have a seat sir and now we've got Bo lden who is a gen Z influencer and now adviser to the Trump campaign Bo come on in have a seat appreciate you guys thank you very much for being here guys so we're gonna to cut to the stage in a bit we've got a few big speakers coming uh but Michael first I want your reaction to last night Tim Walls you could also feel the joy I was hoping he'd come out in flannel but what do you think I don't care about Tim Walls I don't care really about Oprah I don't care about any of those speakers the the worst part last night was that slam poetes that lady who came out you know hey I'm a girl and we're going to change the world we on this Hallowed Ground got to do the justicul we found out that comma is it was in the words of Harold bloom a Yale literary critic one of the greats who is a liberal himself he said slam poetry is the death of Art and this is what was so depressing last night you saw all sorts of terrible uh nonsense about Freedom you know uh you had uh the the left is now pushing Freedom rather than democracy which was previously The Campaign theme obviously they have to do this because no one has voted for kamla Harris well the Democracy theme might have worked for Joe Biden it doesn't work at all for her and and freedom is a little easier for her now there of course not talking about the freedom that our founding fathers pushed the freedom that classical political philosophers pushed they're talking about lenti justness they're saying you know the freedom to kill your kid and the freedom to Lop off your genitals or whatever so they were pushing all of this Josh Shapiro came out he he made this dumb point he said these Republicans they want to ban books and the Republicans have responded and said no we we don't want to ban books but that's actually not true I I want to ban certain books in elementary school the Liberals want gay porn in elementary school I don't want there to be gay porn in I guess I want to ban those books you know but the left wants to ban books too the minute Josh Shapiro said that I thought oh can we read the Bible in schools now again that's great because you for 70 years the left is told us we can't read the Bible in schools so you don't want to ban books great no but of course they do so to me I think the better argument here is not we don't want to ban books I think the better argument is everybody wants to ban some books in the schools and the left wants to ban the Bible and we want to ban gay porn for your 10-year-old and you guys can pick so that was all really silly but the part that made me want to pull my hair out was the slam poetry because it meant not just the potential death of our political order but the death of American art has it not already died it might have died a while somewhere around Tony Morris but the good news is American art will be revived tonight when Beyonce takes the stage my cousin I know you're we're gonna have to cut the cameras out of this room because Michael will be doing the single ladi's dance when she gets up there I know you're a hug that's what all us noses do so uh bo talk about how much of this does seem to be aimed at young people we know the Democrat Party believes they have a monopoly on Jen Z voters you are a genen z voter you spend a lot of time organizing and reaching out to geners how do you think this is all playing to them well you know uh I find it interesting enough they they claim that they are sweeping it with Jen Z because they're bringing out your Beyonce and all these people out uh but just recently I saw a survey done by survey USA and Trump's still ahead by four points over Kamala with jenzi voters so um I don't think it's working out as well they hoped and I you know you can watch Camala Harris She'll follow Trump around she's like like hoping he drops bread coms you know whatever he drops she'll go after uh you know she she did the Aiden Ross stream and then she she reached out to just about every single streamer she could possibly think of including Aiden Ross to try to get them to agree to do a stream with her for a certain price or whatever and all these guys are like stop stop stop calling my phone like leave me alone like I don't want to do it and uh you know it's just it's just hilarious now she's paying rappers and that was another thing that was exposed by Aiden Ross and I'm just curious the budget for this thing cuz I see like the the the sweets are starting from 500,000 to 5 million I mean that's insane so I mean I guess that but that's how they're affording all these rappers and celebrities I guess in attendance yeah yeah I think the Democrats have really engaged in more revisionist history with what the word Freedom means that we've seen yesterday than they have probably with gender and transgenderism I mean the way they have botched that word it's absolutely shocking and to your point I think there's an interesting coraly was breaking today that youth voters I know in the UK they're potentially uh trying to make 16 and 17 year olds eligible to vote but that Nigel farage is overwhelmingly popular with them and I think if you sort of take the personalities out of it much like I guess the Democratic party has done I'm sure your audience probably knows that in the final DNC platform they actually still referred to it as Biden's second term several so they don't have very good copy editors over there but I think the themes the problems that we see plaguing Our Generation are the same in the UK or the same across the world which is immigration inflation horrible trade deals and I think a longing for actual culture actual Heritage with the country you grew up in and you don't get this by this cheap astroturfed version of Freedom that the Democrats are pushing it comes off I think as old politicians speak that I think you know genen Z voters that's not really what they want at least the ones that are outside of sort of the the Tik Tok information ecosystem um but I don't think that that squares with young people who can't afford to fill their cars up with gas but oh well you know Charlie XX is on stage or Beyonce whoever is saying brat doesn't really make a difference and notice how abstract it is I mean beyond the excellent point you just made which is that the version of Freedom that the Democrats are promising is exactly the kind of false Freedom that the founding fathers warned us about but beyond that it's both the true and the false Freedom are so abstract right the notion of democracy is so abstract what are the Republicans talking about immigration inflation Foreign Wars being able to have a family to feed your family your schools the schools you're sending your kids to uh these are real nuts and bolts kind of issues you can measure success on these kinds of issues and if you try to measure the success of KLA Harris and Joe Biden they're going to come up short on every single issue so so I think part of the reason they're leaning into this Freedom kind of uh campaign is they can't talk about any specific issue if they could I promise you they would yeah and the issues that they are talking about are oftentimes as Bo brought up points that Donald Trump has already made the no taxes on tips which Again by the way for people who haven't seen this CBS when that first policy came out it said Donald Trump proposes no taxes on tips plan that would cost federal government tens of billions and lost tax revenue KLA Harris does the exact same thing CBS News runs the exact same headline except it says K Harris proposes ambitious plan to remove taxes from tips and then she's coming out and and repurposing the child tax credit which they said JD Vance was evil for doing do you think that voters realize that these policies are from Trump do you think they care no because what they're reading on ABC News I mean you can compare the headlines JD Vance and the Trump campaign propose higher taxes for childless Americans and then of course the same the same exact policy a more actually a more exaggerated version of the policy is KLA Harris to bring down taxes on families so unfortunately a lot of Americans still are listening to ABC News many even are still reading the New York Times which for those of us in this room died you know many many years ago before Bo was born probably uh but but a lot of people do still listen to it I mean this is how KLA has been able to buoy her poll numbers since she shived uh Joe Biden and took over the nomination this is a woman without accomplishments who was unpopular in her own party but she can be artificially booed by the media and that has thus far succeeded yeah so one of those tax plans is the capital gains tax which uh dailywire reporter Spencer Lindquist is going to talk to us about he is in the room right now in Chicago Spencer glad you're staying safe we had some concerns I saw you Monday on the floor I thought it might be the last time I ever talked to you you're still alive glad you're staying safe in the protest talk to us about kamla Harris uh and this capital gains tax proposal this week yeah that's right so this morning I was at a press conference with the Trump campaign P ramaswami was there as a surrogate for the campaign and he really blasted Harris and her campaign for not giving much in the way of particular policy positions but one that she has given is a tax on unrealized capital gains he said that this is going to cause an economic Calamity the likes of which we haven't seen since the Great Depression and he said that many of his Democrat friends and finance aren't in favor either here's what he had to say you don't want to sell but you're forced to sell because you have to pay the tax out of pocket but it turns out you won't be the only person required to do that somebody else will be required to do that too but they'll have to do it at a lower price because you already sold and your sale drove down the price of the asset and then when the next person does it that triggers down the price of the asset further but the guy sitting next to him has to sell that asset to pay his taxes that is how you trigger what you call a downward spiral in asset prices it's the best formula for triggering a second Great Depression we ever had one and the reality is you know who's going to be holding the bag at the end of it the people who don't hold liquid assets so Spencer you actually were with be ramaswami when he attended uh a debate or a protest I should say uh outside of the venue tell us about that experience that's right so we've been attending this protest it's called the march on the DNC they've been saying they want to shut down the DNC we've been attending this really every day and this morning we invited Ram Swami to come along with us uh and it was quite a lively scene after he showed up he ended up getting uh effectively pushed out of the rally thankfully he was there with quite a bit of security which he ended up uh needing uh they were calling him a racist and effectively chasing him out of the park we got video of it that we're going to play for you now the good news is we're America and so we actually get to all express ourselves you get to express being a racist you get to express you get to express being a racist is that what you get to express that's a lie racist aren welcome that's a lie R well breaking news V ramaswami is a racist there's no denying it I mean a crowd is pting it it must all be true Spencer what sort of reaction did V have to that interaction you know he told us that he was there because he wanted to have a dialogue with people that he knew he wasn't going to necessarily agree with on many topics but he said that he wanted to have these conversations that these are Americans who have a right to free speech and that he wanted to hear them out and provide his own perspective so he broke down exactly what happened there at the park uh we actually met up with him later in the day and my colleague Cassie AA spoke with him here's is their conversation why do you think that there were protesters outside of the DNC but not the RNC that's a good question I think that the left in part is based on chaos and I don't mean that in a negative way I think conservatives T tend to order their Universe based on order and liberals and the farle tends to order their view on disorder you know one of the things I said is I do care about people the well-being and plight of people everywhere in the world including in Gaza but we can't have this conversation ignoring the reality of the event that precipitated it which was of course an attack on Israel's sovereignty and its own people and so I was hoping that would actually at least open up interesting dialogue there are nuanced issues around this whole question and we ought to be able to have that conversation then I started getting called racist important to remember uh President Biden saying this week that people on both sides are bringing up good points those are the people Joe Biden was referring to sort of his good people on both sides moment except one was real spencer thank you so much for being on the ground there we will uh definitely catch up with you very soon that's Spencer linquist Daily wire reporter and now Michael we've been talking about these unrealized gains I do think a lot of people don't actually know what that means who aren't actually in the finance world so econ 101 give us a lesson here what that means and what you make of that policy a lot of people explain it for spread the legs well a lot of people don't realize what it means a lot of people also don't realize who it affects namely everybody Biden has proposed at taxing not only not only raising the taxes on your income not only raising the taxes on your investment income you know gains that you realize through Investments but also unrealized gains so if I invest in Mayflower cigars let's say as I have uh you know the company is worth a certain amount of money and and the company grows because we've sold a lot of cigars so now the company's worth more money this year than it was worth last year that's an unrealized gain that I have on paper I'm worth more money today than I was last year I haven't seen one red scent of that money because I'm investing that money back into my business now if Joe Biden gets his way and if kamla Harris gets her way because she's running on the exact same platform what I would be forced to do is sell off if I can't come up with the cash which most people especially entrepreneurs but but most people who have in Ms retirement pension funds whatever mutual funds rather they would have to sell off some of their investments just to pay the tax man and and this is a a major problem one because it's going to destroy businesses it would it would greatly hamper the growth of of these businesses if not destroy them all together but it will also cause Market crashes because it would trigger what's called a forced selloff you know every year right around tax time people are going to dump their assets to come up with the cash for the tax man and it's not just a guy who owns a Cigar Company it's not just a guy who owns a much bigger company or some billionaire who you know owns a really big company and and has really big gains in in other Investments it's going to be it it's going to trickle down to everyone because even if they only go after the super wealthy with this kind of a tax it's going to crash the market every single year in a really predictable way and that's going to hurt your 401k that's going to hurt whatever money you're putting into your mutual funds that's going to hurt mom and pop people who are living on fixed incomes it's going to hurt every single American their fiscal policies are are so radical right but they couch them behind these these euphemisms frankly I think it's it's really a socialist marketing tactic right price controls oh we're going to give you $25,000 to buy a house so long as you're an illegal alien but I think it also kind of goes back to what we were talking about how they have sort of redefined freedom and how it's so it's so reflective in the sense that they're defining it in the context of what Republicans have put forth you see it in the policies that they're advancing whether it's the child tax credits but I think you see it in their vilification of the Republican party and particularly even though there's debate about whether or not it's part of the Republican party but project 2025 and I think that there's valid claims to be made that the policies that the Democrats are suggesting are 10 20 30X more radical right than anything that was ever in Project 2025 but they've just sort of presented it to the American people with freedom and joy and you know the Madison Avenue PR firm kind of branding spin but deep down it's so radical and they'll never admit it until they get caught by their very own you know Bureau of Labor says oh actually 800 900,000 jobs you guys faked it but I I just am curious if you know even for you if you think Young Americans can really parse through the lies the I mean psychological if not information Warfare that the DNC the Democrats have been waging all week long when they're single-handedly culpable for inflation and immigration sort you know compounds that issue but do you think that that message is breaking through well you know what despite Kamala might tell you about 18 to 24 year olds being stupid I think they I think they are actually I would like to term curious I think they're curious and I think they can look at Cala Harris uh pledging all these great things that conveniently Trump has said as well on day one and people like well you know it's day 1,311 you know you've been up there for a while where's where's the action and uh I don't think I don't think gen Z is buying into it as much as they would like them to and I think people like Jen's understanding you know with Trump you know we'll be protected our wallets be protected you we got the no tax on tips he's going to he's going to fix our economy he going to run America like a like a thriving business again uh and then with Kamala I mean we're not even promised the most basic security I mean um as you know 85,000 migrant children missing stuff like that Kamal Harris doing nothing on the border they're saying oh I haven't been to Europe and I hav been to the Border either so she's just genen Z wants to feel safe and they want to know that they're their money will be safe and their families will be safe that's basic and I think that they that Kamala can't really cover it up that much one interesting thing that we've seen is the Harris campaign making all of these promises that every expert is saying no this is not constitutional it's not legal price gouging or Price gauging as she would say gaging the promise to cut back on price gouging and the promise to forgive everyone's student loans which the Supreme Court would almost certainly strike down both of those measures because they are unconstitutional the promise to upend the Supreme Court for that matter but do you think they know that where they know this is not going to happen and even if it does happen we know the courts will knock it down and then we can just point right back to how evil the Supreme Court is and use that to try and help us get these term limits in the court and re revolutionize it no I I think they're serious actually I I don't think that they're just lying to their minions to get them across the Finish Line I think they they really intend to uh get their their goals across the Finish Line because they're threatening to uh destroy the only institution that can stop their plans namely the Supreme Court you know they're pushing to end lifetime tenure for Supreme Court Justices that's a fundamental change to the Constitutional order but but they're they're pushing it they're trying to push this new code of conduct on the Supreme Court the Supreme Court conducts itself with far greater uh you know reverence and Prudence than anyone in the legislature or in certainly in the Biden Administration uh but so really what that is is is a move to exert kind of Supremacy over what is supposed to be a co-equal branch of government and by the way if you think that they can't succeed they certainly can you know FD who was the last president to have this ambitious policy Vision this this radically leftist of vision uh in in its scope did succeed because he threatened many of the things that the Democrats are currently threatening packing the Supreme Court and in fact he did succeed at bullying the Supreme Court into finally allowing his New Deal programs through that totally changed the nature of the government the relation of the citizen to the federal government he got it through they called it a switch in time that saved nine one of the judges finally flipped because he was afraid they were going to lose the whole Supreme Court so they want it you know it's worth pointing out we were just talking about economics earlier uh KLA Harris's dad was a very prominent Marxist Economist I think the term communist is thrown around a little bit too much on the right I think there's plenty of problems with liberalism too but in in this case KLA Harris was raised in a Marxist household Pete Budaj another senior official in the Biden administration his father was a very prominent Marxist scholar one of the most prominent ones in the country Joseph Budaj so we always talk about the Long March through the institutions how the left they didn't only focus on the government they went in they took over the universities and they were going to poison the American mind and it was going to take a generation or two to flourish now I think we're seeing the fruit of that the the literal children of that that radical leftist generation that took over the schools they're now running the government and I think short of of maybe turning Texas blue I think the most like coveted political scalp that Democrats could have would be packing the court doing whatever Court reforms that they want and I think they are very serious and I think the way you can tell is you look at the way their dark money operations have been dispersing copious amounts of money to go after the Supreme Court and to the point that Cala Harris's uh communications director the guy running her entire campaign he used to run I believe it was demand Justice the activism group that was organizing all the protests outside of Cavanaugh house and you know trying to threaten Supreme Court Justices and I think when you sort of take a step back I think that is what is so interesting right now about the DNC the really political charade that is going on where they like to spin it as A Tale of Two Cities of two events you know the protesters outside in the speeches at the podium at night you know different by day different by night but in reality all of those entities are funded by the same people whether it's the tides Foundation whether it's open Society Foundation they are all aligned financially yeah they get whipped step over certain issues you know depending on the election cycle depending on the month but in reality they all March and lock step and I think the people outside maybe are just a little more comfortable with admitting how far they're willing to go to achieve their ends but that at the end of the day is I think the blueprint and the template for what the Democratic party wants to operate under what you're seeing at night what you're seeing with these speeches is their best effort their bestit effort to try to get normal Americans to come on board and with the policy proposals that are even codified within the DNC platform including the US citizenship act which would give citizenship not just to 15 million Americans or illegal aliens that have been let in under Harris they would go out and find previously deported criminal aliens and Grant them citizenship while giving them free health care housing textbooks you name it and that is truly radical so they can stand up there and say freedom but I don't really think Freedom matters if you're living under you know Mass amnesty and just cultural chaos where you can't even go outside cuz you're going to get called a racist even if you look like VC it is an interesting justos between the Harris campaign and the Biden Administration trying to bring people back as you mentioned give a second shot to people who they didn't get a chance to enrich our economy and culture the first time but the second time around they're going to do it third time is the charm and then on the other hand you have President Trump promising mass deportations at a level that exceeds what he did in his first term is that feasible do you think that happens you know I mean I do think there are conservatives that say his big promise the first time on immigration was we're going to build a wall that didn't fully come to fruition now there are a lot of reasons for that we know what was going on in Congress but do you think that this is one that could actually happen it's possible that it could happen in that uh you know Trump has said this himself when he came to Washington DC one of the best things about him is he hadn't spent a lot of time in Washington DC the downside of that is he didn't totally know how the levers of power were turned uh now regardless of even his own natural inclinations uh they have tried to throw him in jail on four occasions and blow his head off one time so if ever oh that happened I forgot yeah that's been completely way right uh but if if ever there were a time for president Trump to really uh narrow in on the seriousness of the situation I strongly suspect he he is there now so what does that mean for for immigration which is the signature Trump issue since 2016 uh you know there are many people who want to restrict immigration who think that just UH 60 million people in 60 years is it's a lot you know or or more who knows you got to add more more numbers to that since 2015 um largest movement of people in in history uh so what does that mean uh probably it means that we're not going to restrict legal migration probably what that means is uh as president Trump says we're going to end illegal immigration and we're going to have even more legal immigration the immigration restrictionists don't like that answer but politically that's probably the the most tenable path uh furthermore are you going to uh Deport what is it some 11 million illegal aliens living in the country is a relatively conservative number you going to deport 11 million no and by the way the American people wouldn't want you to even if you could because they go to school with some illegal aliens and they work with some illegal aliens and it's just the political reality you see the images of the the children in the closet in the man with a gun yes it simply wouldn't work however could you Deport a million as JD Vance has suggested uh perhaps you could and you know some people won't be satisfied with that but politics is the art of the possible you know it's the art of inclusion and uh it's it's the preference of the majority of Americans number of polls have shown this for a decade now uh so is that possible yes is it more limited than some people would like uh yes but I'll take what I can get it's also worth pointing out too on the question of Americans that is actually what they want there are numerous polls now showing that the majority of Hispanic voters actually say now that if someone is caught trying to enter the country illegally they should immediately be deported those numbers were in the teens as recently as 2012 the number of Hispanic voters saying that we should have instant deportation people coming across so I do think we are seeing a shift even among communities that the left tries to tell you are much more embraced or embracing their idea of immigration I think two two points on this one I mean I think it's not even just a question of of the legality and and immigration how it affects the culture here in the United States I mean they're using it as a tool in election Warfare I mean the New York Times had a story out last week where they said the quiet part out loud they admitted oh we're actually granting out citizenship to people who otherwise would have been okay with just having green cards sort of reversing you know the narrative oh living in the shadows which is something that most illegals are actually okay with but at a rate that you haven't seen at least for the last 10 years they've been granting out citizenship the difference there that's important you can vote if you a citizen right they're reshaping the electorate that was the direct quot quote in the New York Times but to your point about how I think on the issue of immigration if you could make the case that you know the first iteration of a trump Administration was co-opted from the Personnel subversion I think we also have to get very real and serious about how those efforts though we love to say that you know oh the Zucker bucks all those kind of dark money groups have gone away or rebranded they never went away the transition Integrity project which is something that maybe you guys are familiar with but it was a bunch of all highlevel Democrat and sort of established Republican operative coming together and War gaming right basically the Fallout of the 2020 election but they've gone a step further this time around now if you read their blueprint for what to do in a potential second Trump Administration it has to do with the actual policies that he would roll out and they're already calling on Republican and Democrat Governors even local officials to start banding together and allying making predetermined commitments and Promises to subvert his authority so you know even if they want to roll out deportations that there's already a pre-existing Network and I'm not just talking ACLU and splc and all those groups but that are going to be ready to fight and frankly I know we have to deal in the the possible but I I would argue that you have to go a step further than Mass deportations because what the Biden regime has done to the citizenship process to these court backlogs it's not even about deporting people because you're not dealing with just run-of-the-mill illegal immigration you're dealing with mass invasion of people where you almost need to get into the territory I would argue of Den naturalizations because people who have received citizenship do not deserve it I want to get more on this conversation but I do want to get to the floor we're hearing from Gabby gord's right now in Chicago let's hear what she has to say who always checked and and he still does thank you Joe Biden thank you for everything Joe is a great president my friend Kamala will be a great president she is tough she has grit kamla can beat the gun lobby she can fight gun trafficking pela stood up to Wall Street and the drug company she will protect abortion access she will defended our freedom she save lives join me in voting for kamla Harris thank you I had the honor of meeting vice president Harris when I got to introduce her when she spoke at my high school about gun violence Park what happened and all I can think about is that I wanted to keep my kids safe on July 4th 2022 I was next to L to walk in Highland Park independent state parade and gunshots erupted seven people were shot and killed and 48 more were injured all right hearing now from victims of what they call gun violence and it is interesting to see the contrast of who they're putting blame on for what so when we talk about inflation it's not their fault that inflation is happening it's the fault of those evil corporations and when we talk about crime it's not crime it's not homicides it gun violence guns and who's to blame for that and then when it's abortion it's it's reproductive freedoms Michael it's interesting to see the focus on abortion this week which typically ranks around the fifth to seventh most important issue for Americans the economy crime and immigration usually near the top do you think that that is a missed opportunity are they realizing well what what else are we going to talk about they're they're not just talking about abortion they're committing to 25 of them 25 babies have been murdered at the DNC they've consecrated the Democrat National Convention in the blood of Innocence not to put too fine a point on it this is the sort of thing we saw in ancient Carthage this is the sort of thing we saw at the Temple of tenoch tlon in the 16th century in in uh U the Aztec Empire and this is what we're seeing now at the DNC uh ritual infant Slaughter okay uh really really dark stuff we've never seen anything like this before uh Hillary Clinton famously had this view that abortion should be safe legal and rare and that was the Democrat line until recently now they're they're shouting for it why I think for starters because that's the logical endpoint of their premise you know if the premise is that a baby's not really a baby then there's no there's no reason that abortion should be rare the the Clinton line was always uh incoherent and so now you're just seeing the playing out of that logic but but two that I think the other reason I guess three reasons the second one is we get an extra one we get you get a bonus uh the the decision reopened abortion is a political issue in a way that it had not been open in about 49 years this is one of the great triumphs of Trump's presidency I mean this is the first president to show up to the March for Life uh an an amazing uh symbol of pro-life support and then of course he appointed the judges who overruled roie Wade so you know his president Trump's PR Bona fides are unimpeachable as far as I'm concerned uh however now we're in a totally new universe this opened the issue up live when it was put on up for ballot referenda generally the pro abortion side did pretty well and so they think that this is going to give them some Mojo into the election but the third reason they're talking about it gets to everything that we've been discussing tonight which is that on any measurable policy front Harris and Biden have failed so they can't they can't talk about measurable uh policies abortion is an immeasurable policy in that you can measure how many babies they've killed but you there's always one more you know it's it's simply the Democrats saying you can do this thing we will let you do this thing it's not saying we will manage the economy well they haven't we'll manage for policy well they haven't you can do this you can do weird sex stuff you can look at this disgusting book in an elementary school so they it they have to push it because they can't fail on it how concerned are you by the success of pro-abortion measures in the last year or two we know that there will be abortion measures on the ballot in Florida Arizona more states are scrambling trying to say hey abortion is on the bout this isn't a presidential race are you concerned that in the last few years even in conservative States in Kansas Ohio uh we have seen a lot of these measures overwhelmingly pass I'm I'm less concerned uh this year because it's a presidential year so in off years uh I I think these ballot measures and and what would ordinarily be down ballot races matter a lot more this time it's Trump versus comma that's what it is and so sure in the swing States they're going to try to increase Democrat enthusiasm by putting one of their favorite uh sins on the ballot but it's it's not going to change Florida I don't think I don't think it'll have any real effect in Arizona I think Arizona's actually looking pretty good for the Republicans so it's it's Trump versus comma it's just about getting the base out and and so abortion might Jin up the Democrat base in as much as comma talks about it but uh but that's really it it's it's two people duking it out you mentioned down ballot let's talk a little bit about the down ballot races a lot of people forget the Senate is up for grabs right now quick overview of the map so of these seven Battleground States where there's a senate race right now Democrats are defending all seven of those seats Republicans are going to pick up West Virginia with Joe Mansion stepping down that gets them to 50 they only need to pick up one of those remaining seven Battleground States what do you make of the Senate races are there any races in particular keeping an eye on well just real quick on that posting I hate when people do that but um you know speaking of life and death which we're seeing play out at the DNC I think one issue again I never see ground to the left on the frame they love to frame it as you know climate change and environmentalism but I think it's fundamentally anti-humanity right the policies that they're pushing but that's sort of been an issue that hasn't really been discussed that much on stage there was even I think Washington Post reporting coming out today noticing that the Democrats have sort of abstained a little bit from talking about their radical green energy policies I think because they know how woefully unpopular they are especially with whatever demographic they're trying to court with you know the camo hats and going after you know the coal workers their gas you know all those people who I guess maybe didn't learn to code um but no on the issue of the Senate I've really been focusing on Arizona I think the news that we've seen come out today in terms of requiring voter ID uh to vote I know the left is going to be in meltdown over that they'll accuse everyone of being racist but I think we we've seen a lot of action on the Grassroots level in the state of Arizona when it comes to election integrity and election security um so I think that that's looking really promis the Republican Party kind of coming together now Doug Ducey who had been feuding with car Lake publicly the popular Governor there coming out last week in endorsing Cary Lake and speaking of Arizona Donald Trump was actually in Arizona today at an event at the border at Place KLA Harris uh is unfamiliar with let's see what president Trump and the victims of illegal immigration speaking at that event had to say there's one particularly um powerful moment here with a victim of illegal immigrant crime I'm a keeper U I don't feel like I belong on the stage with the folks here since I seem to have gotten off kind of easy with just a fractured skull I didn't lose loved ones but um it the night I was walking to dinner in Pacific Heights um it was a nice neighborhood you wouldn't expect broad daylight for something violent to happen to you on the way to dinner um my purse was stolen and I stepped into the street and um the car jumped into came at me um I jumped up on the hood to avoid getting run over and he floored it and hit the brakes uh the police were great they had caught him and his accomplice in a really short time because I remember being on a gurnie in the hallway of the hospital and I had to ID them they were laughing as they fractured my skull what was really the the worst part about it all though is when I found out that taxpayer money was paying for job training for this guy who avoided going to prison for the first felony he committed on for jobs he couldn't legally hold um it was kind of a wakeup moment for me and I moved out of San Francisco cuz I didn't feel safe there and and I don't think our country is going to be safe under Cala Harris very difficult to listen to the reality of what's going on all around the country again Donald Trump making that visit to the Border today in Arizona here is Arizona Senator Mark Kelly live in Chicago vice president Harris has always championed America's support for NATO for Ukraine and for the Ukrainian people on the Senate intelligence committee she investigated Russian interference in our election she defends free and fair elections everywhere you already know how Trump feels about those Donald Trump skipped his intelligence briefings he was too busy sucking up to dictators and dreaming of becoming one [Applause] himself Trump thinks that Americans who have made the ultimate sacrifice are suckers and losers if we fall for that again and make him the commanderin-chief the only son ERS would be us K Harris knows that standing with their allies means standing up for Americans she'll keep modernizing our military to support our troops and to support our veterans like our next vice president Tim Walls the world laughs at Trump literally but folks it is not funny when he was president that meant the world was laughing at us the threats we Face are too serious the sacrifices our service members make are too sacred the alliances we've spent decades building are too critical that's what's at stake now and the choice the choice isn't even close but in Arizona and Nationwide this election will be we'll win in the same way we launch rockets into space and land fighter jets on an aircraft carrier as one team on one Mission state by state voter by voter coming together no country no country is better than ours at solving big problems so on November 5th let's prove that America is still the leader the world needs today by the electing the leader we need right now kamla Harris thank you everybody thank you all right that was Arizona Senator Mark Kelly running against KY Lake in the senate race there um very close race right now so let's talk about that race for a little bit then I want to get to a little preview of what we're seeing with Beyonce coming we will get to Beyonce don't worry everyone but what do you make of the KY Lake Mark Kelly race Lake seems to be down right now in the polls anywhere from two to four points it's close just outside the margin of error um do you think that she'll Faire better than she did in the gator race I certainly hope so I you know I I the only reason I'm not sure is because Mark Kelly is a good candidate uh so I'm I'm you know pulling for Carrie it would be it would be an amazing pickup uh but Mark Kelly is such a good candidate he has so much sympathy just from what happened to his wife and his career as an astronaut I wondered why kamla didn't pick him for VP uh you know he has all the advantages that Tim Walls has Obama wanted him and many more yeah the Chinese Communist party right Minnesota's not exactly a swing state right you know yeah as far as I know Mark Kelly never took any stop offs on the way to outer space with in communist China so why not and so that always made me think there's something there there's something to really hit Kelly on there's something KLA knows that maybe the Republicans don't know so uh I I wonder if there's going to be an October surprise if there is an October surprise in that race that probably would be enough to kick car Lake over the edge you guys have a close relationship with carry Lake over a war room what are you hearing yeah I mean we Lea so closely with a lot of the Grassroots activist types and turning point you know that world and they're always out chasing ballots and I think though so much of it is you know focused on candidate quality in terms of carry and I think she reflects that and resembl as a solid candidate especially on immigration in terms of always having president Trump's back but I think the ACT AC ists at least from my point of view if we focus on the Arizona race that they have really been kind of putting their shoulder to the wheel um chasing voter registration um chasing votes and I think that that is going to probably be what saves the day there um barring any you know nefarious activity or eccentricities um on Election Day so Beyonce will be taking the stage shortly from everything we've been told it could they keep saying huge surprise it could be anyone but we are seeing reports PMZ for what it's worth reporting that it will be Beyonce um Michael I want your take on Beyonce taking the stage and then Bo I want to talk about how this all actually plays with young voters what do you think it says about the DNC that they are relying on their big final night surprise being a performance from Beyonce NES you're only asking my take because she and I have the same last name yes I didn't even realize that when I said Beyonce nolles how about you guys there's a resemblance there I see yes I know especially in the summertime uh Beyonce is a big get there's no question uh however she's not as big a get as Taylor Swift she she would have been a bigger get you know years ago but uh she's not as big a get as Taylor Swift so we'll see I mean that would be could you imagine if Taylor Swift showed up which a lot of people have have wondered about for months now um so it's a good get you know sure the the left always does well with Hollywood celebrities my question for Bo is whether this matters to younger voters you know uh before I was a kid when I was but a a little gleam in my father's eye there was a real common culture everyone saw the same movies everyone watched basically the same TV shows uh there was there was Network TV then there was cable TV the culture split up a little bit but there's still a common culture then the internet really started to create diverse culture now with social media then with podcasting now with streaming which is even more individuated version of this culture it seems that really no one watches the same movies no one watches the same TV no one listens to the same artist so therefore I have to wonder if these big glitzy celebrity endorsements have anywhere near the same effect they would have had even five or 10 years ago yeah well you know I think I I I think Kamala Harris is just this has been her game this has been the democratics parties game for a while just getting any celebrity they possibly can and come out and support and you you'll see these guys like Mark Hamill like what has Mark Hamill done in the past 20 years I don't know 50 years they brought him out of nowhere it's like okay great uh Jack Black saying oh they they should have shot Trump stuff like that it's like like these are your people okay great but but uh you know we recently started like we we'll play their game a little bit but you know I I I I I was talking to people like Aiden Ross he's like you know I really want to interview Trump you think I maybe I can pass him some cash or something so real quick I I want to I want you to tell this story for people at home can you explain who Aiden Ross is for obviously hugely popular with younger voters just explain what happened in this interview and how seismic this was for young people yeah so would say that Aiden Ross is probably the number one streamer in the world he does live streams and he plays games or talks to his friends or has on some really cool people like rappers and celebrities uh and talk about whatever was trending in modern day and uh he's very popular amongst young people but uh I was just approached by him and he's like there's nothing I would love more than have Trump on my stream like that would be the coolest thing it' be super viral I'm like you know what I agree and uh he was like you know think I could talk Trump some cash to get him on my stream like he wouldn't accept your cash if you want to give him campaign donations you know that could be range but I don't he's not going to accept your your money vice versa you have Kamala Harris who's paying these people as much as she can and begging them like please have me on it's so pathetic so the Harris campaign is reach you're hearing from these popular social media streamers is reaching out to one of them being my good friend uh his name is Bryce Hall he like 20 million followers on Tik Tok he's huge uh but he I don't think Harris is watching closely enough because if you actually go look at his page he's really only been posting Pro Trump stuff uh for the past like couple of weeks and uh he's getting under a lot of fire for it of course but uh then Harris dm'd him on Instagram from her actual Instagram account asking if he is willing to stand with her and whatever and he's like obviously not and uh and actually now he's like triped downed on his support for Trump and he's going even harder like his whole brand was you know slight comedy whatever uh collabing with other influencers he's kind of just shift away from that he's like one of these Trump influencers now like that's all posts about and it it's awesome and and you know these videos are getting millions of views so I think young people aren't stupid and I think when you try to get people like Mark Hill or Beyonce or people that you know I'd call them hasb beens uh I don't think it's going to sway jenz they're not interested in that stuff you know we're we're getting the real big dogs and we don't have to toss them these fat paychecks to to hop on stream I would just like to say to The Beehive I believe they're called I have not said anything bad about Beyonce it's been Bo and Michael go after them you can find them on social media now but we actually have a clip of that interview and that moment between Aiden Ross this Mega celebrity for young people in streamers and Donald Trump let's watch that let's put it this way our country is in big trouble yeah I spoke to uh your son Don Jr uh when I met you in Durado right um I spoke to Don Jr a little bit he said man I you know I feel for the you know the Young Generation you guys are look look look at this like look what's going on here like it's it's like youi these next four years if not I don't he's like I don't know how well the country is going to do after these four years um I don't think it survives I really don't damn look we're going to have 20 million people in by the time this election takes place 20 million people that's that's bigger than New York State when you're dumping all of these criminals and all of these uh drug dealers uh all of these people into our country You're really hurting our country badly and it it has to be uh we have to take very strong measures now later on there's video of that streamer Aiden Ross showing up with a cyber truck that had Donald Trump all over it and uh and as our viewers can see Bo we're going to embarrass you for a little bit this is just too cool of a picture of you at the 2016 convention I love it was this was this the first convention you've been to was like the first anything I'd been to and and that was the first the first time I had met a trump I actually met two trumps I met Don Jr there uh and totally fanboyed when I was like a little boy and then and then actually after I ended up hopping on stage and that's when I met Baron for the first time cuz I was playing with the balloons after the convention was over and baron came out and we were like how was the first time we met so and now you and baron are close friends um which you you were talk we were talking in the Green Room about how the media will try and use things that you say to attack Baron Trump and say look at the friends Baron Trump has oh it's like it doesn't matter what I say now now now the articles are bar and Trump's best friend supports Trump and it was funny cuz there was there was kind of this rumor going around on Tik Tok this whole time Baron's part of the lgbtq for sure he supports BLM for sure he totally hates his dad we need to save him and now that the media is kind of realizing oh crap he doesn't actually hate his dad they're not too happy about it and uh so it's it's just funny to watch all this unfold in real time and and like I was saying uh how Michael was talking about you know with these celebrities back then these guys were respected all the all the real celebrities the real like ogs that were respected they're all for Trump like your Clint eastwoods your John voits like the the real the real Legends they're all for Trump but now these celebrities they can't make good music anymore they can't make good music anymore they have all this woke crap and and they'll they'll put 200 million to a movie and it does like 10 million in the box office you know that's why someone like an Aiden Ross is more influential than these people cuz cuz it's dead no one's entertained anymore I mean for them to to to to uh actually put out something good they have to bring back one of the old controversial directors uh who's controversial now cuz he doesn't want to put in a gay sex scene or something like that it's also much more personal like streaming is this really intimate kind of experience where as you say a guy will be playing a video game and he'll be just talking to some random friend and then oh yeah maybe some Rockstar will come on but but then he'll be talking to a guy you never heard of too and and they'll be talking to people in the chat too and so it's very different you know 50 60 years ago a movie star would be so tightly controlled uh and the same holds true in politics so in politics you know politicians used to be just totally scripted and everything about them was artificial down to their teeth and they would never say a word out of line and Trump completely upends this in 2016 and so Trump is speaking in this really intimate way and so even people who hated Trump would at least say man the guy's genuine at least I know where he stands on things he's had the same views he's not polishing it up he's not changing his platform for every given audience that he's speaking to like Hillary or like kamla or or like Joe Biden and and so you know I I see how there's there's a natural uh kind of relation between Trump and the people that Jen Z is watching these streamers who are who are for lack of a better word authentic it's our Escape you know we we jenzi is not like we don't like the woke stuff we don't want our favorite comedians cancelled we don't you know we don't want we like Teslas and stuff like that like Trump talks about but we don't want that to be the only option you know we're not stupid and this is the kind of stuff like when you have I I just actually did another one with this guy uh you know maybe we could set up something with him in Trump soon he goes on the scene and he catches pedophiles oh guy Vitali oh okay yeah yeah so and he's totally Pro Trump and the last one I did with he was wearing the Trump hat and everything and and uh the second pedophile in because they catch like multiple on one stream the second pedophile in illegal immigrant what are the chances and so I mean this is like the kind of thing and and and that's kind of the edgy content that jenzy wants to watch it's what entertains us and we can't find that in Hollywood or or on these beonce songs anymore it's just it's just not the same Bo I don't want to put you on the spot but I kind of have to put you on the spot because I know a lot of our viewers are interested in what the Trump family is like in behind closed doors and we saw Baron show up at that Florida rally and Trump saying this is the first time that he's made like a public appearance Baron stood up I might add towering over the entire crowd with how tall he is and waving to the crowd and kind of making a foray into the political world for the first time so I don't want you to speak on his behalf but I I do think people are interested is he going to get more involved in politics in the future is it something he's interested in can neither confirmed or I we'll see but uh are Augustus Trump baby we we'll see we'll see but you know I think I think Trump has a real gift I mean a gift you've never seen and it's not something like it's new it's not something that some ACT he's putting on because because he's uh running for president now um but since the 80s he's been paying off people's mortgages and I and like I've been putting a lot of this out recently and I'm getting DMS from people saying oh Trump did this for my family he paid for my uh dad's Cancer Treatments he paid for my mom when we failed on No No Deal or No Deal stuff like that like just random things and uh so that's and this is the kind of you take that kind of character you know he makes every employee feel like gold every person around him feel like gold no matter how what scale they're on doesn't matter they don't have to be super rich and successful and handsome he'll make that person like the best person in the room and no other person in his position does that and you take that and you put it into his kids and that's why he has you know amazing kids and and they're all super well raised they're business owners and they're killing it and Baron's no different Baron's just I can't say what he's going to do but keep an eye out for him because he's going to kill it in in the space he's really smart he knows his history he knows his facts and he's up to date on politics and he's he's a smart kid there aren't a lot of politicians who've been in the public eye this long whose children all love them and that is I think that is very telling a lot of people in our audience I think are very jealous of the Insight that you get into that whole world but B Len thank you so much jenz influencer now adviser to the Trump campaign thank you for that Insight we really appreciate it we're going to get now to the DNC floor where Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is taking the stage it was hard but not extraordinary it's life those nights reminded me who I was fighting for people just trying to make it kamla Harris knows who she's fighting for too she took care of her mom who also battled cancer as president she'll fight to lower the cost of Health Care and elder care for every family she's lived a life like ours she knows us Donald Trump doesn't know you at all you think he understands that when your car breaks down you can't get to work no his first word was probably chauffeur you think he's ever had to take items out of the cart before checking out hell you think he's ever been to a grocery [Applause] store that's what the chauffeur is for but kamla Harris she gets us she sees us she is us look we've all lived through a lot of history over the past few years floods and fires an attempted coup a plot and a pandemic it's exhausting we don't know what the next four years will bring but what we do know is this through it all your life won't stop you're going to have to get to work pick up the kids and pay your bills and then one day when you're just trying to get everyone out the door a news alert goes off something happened something hit the fan you'll ask is my family going to be okay and then you'll ask who the hell is in charge what if it's him what what if it's that man from maril Largo I know in a crisis we need someone strong enough to come up with a plan to tell the truth and to bring people together right now before the crisis is when we get to choose why wouldn't we choose the leader who's tough tested and a total badass I know who I want as our commanderin-chief America let's choose comma Harris please welcome actress director and philanthropist Eva [Applause] Longoria hello Chicago yes I am so excited to be here tonight what an honor to be part of this historic moment and y'all are part of it look I have known kamla Harris for more than a decade and she comes from a family a lot like mine and I'm sure a lot like yours we were both raised knowing that no one was going to hand us anything especially as women that we were going to have to touch every wrong of the ladder to get ahead we were going to have to work really hard now she worked at McDonald's but I worked at Wendy's and look at us now uh you see kamla and I were able to see Beyond the Horizon because our fames supported Our Big Dreams well guess what As Americans we're all part of one big family so fam and as Familia we have to have each other's back we have to support each other's dreams because kamla's success is our success and she supports us to dream big too so let me tell you in the Latino community in our community we have a saying which means yes it means yes yes we can but tonight I'm here to tell you yes she can so we're going to say she so when when someone asks you is she ready to lead this country forward we're going to say she when somebody says is she qualified for the job we're going to say she said with when somebody asks is she going to be the first female president of the United States we're going to say she say WI our voices our vote we're going to decide this election and let me tell you the energy tonight isn't just here in Chicago it's all across the country people are gathered at watch parties everywhere to celebrate kamla Harris say hello yes all right right we know how to work so let's get to work let's turn all of this enthusiasm and joy into action between now and November 5th let's go she said she thank you all right evil longor rallying the crowd CE pu believe that means yes we can I'll take your word for it bilingual cin Phillips over here I bring a lot to the table Michael you wouldn't understand um there's a quote that was said if you're not on the menu you're get you're at the table or whatever you're not at the table you're on the menu something like that everyone go look up that clip from last night very funny uh another clip today that um we did not air but it was a speaker talking about sort of me too stuff I'm going to read this quote I urge all of us to stand together support sexual assault survivors believe them and hold perpetrators accountable that Garner a standing ovation this was uh tonight this wasn't last night who was on the stage last night I forget uh we had uh Oprah we had Bill Clinton oh Bill Clinton that's and from Hope who it was who Bill Clinton a very healthy respect for all women health and like nutrition diet misinformation out there and I think it's so cool that you can like see your own metabolism what's working you should go you know paleo keto depending what macronutrient ratio you need but you can actually get the bio individual it's an amazing product I and it's so Hightech somewhat I had it I was playing with it in my office someone thought I had like some kind of pot device one of those magical no no no this is a healthy device actually I breathe into it weather coll but Michael is vegan and has also been eating a lot of bugs in his diet by the way the report about how the FBI was investigating the maggots like in the bre at DN aren't they the ones who were like Pro I thought there was good protein Source right it's like going to save the environment so I was like what's the what's the issue they bugs yeah but not when they're not the ones on top of it now Adam kiner taking the stage right now uh former Republican Congressman um Adam kiner that is do you think he's going to cry is he going to cry during this speech tonight or is he going to hold the tears back is he a crier he's a big crier he when he was discussing uh January 6 the worst day in the history of this or any Republic uh he was sobbing he was crying he so I don't know he's a very emotional guy how long and how viciously does someone need to support Democrats before they stop being referred to former Republican you know this this guy was like a squish in Congress for 5 minutes but now he's forever listen I'm a I'm a true conservative and because of my conservative principles I'm going to shill for baby killing lunatics for the rest of my life on that point it's very interesting so Adam kininger is speaking tonight of course right now but also Carrie Washington spoke earlier and the two of them have joined up to support this you know they operate under the pretense of being bipartisan or independent but this kind of shady NGO kind of 501c3 type group called Power the polls has links to Michelle Obama but they're really focused on voter turnout exclusively in Democratic areas but their initiative particularly has to do with getting Americans to sign it should be pole Watchers and it's just so funny how they masquerade right they play both sides of the coin they're these independent nonpartisan actors yet they're jamming election counting rooms full of pole workers who are obviously you know Marching In lock step but I I do think too it's interesting and I think people like Adam kinzinger which by the way Republicans for Harris I hope we have time to go off on all those people because they're co-signing on the literal destruction and invasion of this country but I think it is so interesting the appeal kind of the natural Synergy between the Trump campaign and streamers and the more kind of institutional celebrities and the Harris campaign and I think you see it in sort of you know the politics of a person versus the politics of a party right the infrastructure that is the Democratic party the infrastructure that you see even in the you know I'm sure haphazard typos but then referring to it as a second Biden regime and not a Harris regime but I think Trump is so authentic right that's what always kind of cuts through with him that that's why I think there's this like natural gravitational pull towards these streamers that exist outside of the Hollywood ecosystem which I think for the past decade has been so watered down you see it in the plummeting viewership rates of you know the Grammys the Oscars no one really cares about that Elite culture which I don't know how that quite squares with the you know dunking on Yale but I'm sure there's some way you could draw this critique out to that too but I even think you see people like Adam kininger all these Republican for Harris types they are part of that politics not of person but of power too and they always have been right they are the system they are the uni party they are the administrative State whatever you want to call it but they represent that just I mean I have always sort of described as that America last faction but they're just grifters and they're political opportunists and I hope these people I mean I don't know how how they can go home and confront themselves look in the mirror when you see you know that video we just played of that woman getting almost bludgeoned to death by an illegal alien you know those are the policies they co-signing I'm so glad they're getting their you know Seven Minutes of Fame but at what cost well this is a type in American politics yeah the of Republican but not that kind of Republican the Democrats have been airing ads like this since the 1960s during the the Barry Goldwater race there was a guy who looked like Adam kininger and he had the glasses on he says you know look I've been a republican all my life my father was a republican I'm rep but this man bu Goldwater he's a very different kind of Republican and he explains why he's all of a sudden a Democrat you see these this type come out all the time and so many say oh I was always a republican but this Trump he's he's a new type uh however there's a little to to your point there is a a little bit of fairness to the notion that Trump is a new type in that he is breaking a system there there was a system uh the liberal establishment Democrats are the majority shareholder Republicans are kind of the junior party in that and Trump came out and he said no I'm not going to play along with the Republican establishment I'm going to say things they don't like I'm not going to be friends with the people they're friends with I'm going to take over the party and he successfully took over the party uh so now the when when people complain that the party is all about Donald Trump yeah it kind of is because we got sick of the people who had been running the party into the ground with the Democrats the party is not about any individual that's how they were able to sub out the presidential nominees and no one really batted an eyelash they threw in the understudy and and it was business as usual because no one thinks that there's any individual really running the campaign or running the White House it's just kind of a blob it's just a a a big uh machine that that keeps on churning if they got rid of Kamala tonight they'd have some new person tomorrow and nothing would change even then one thing that's interesting the fact that Democrats will paint all Republicans as these racist anti-American fascists every name in the book but when those same Republicans the only thing they change about themselves is is that they now denounce Donald Trump and they support a Democrat they welcome them with open arms and it raises the question if these people are what you've been saying if Republicans really are the party of racism and evil you you shouldn't want their support why would you be welcoming them with open arms if the Republican party is truly as evil as you say it is why are you touting having a republican on your stage as a good thing shouldn't you be saying no we're a big tent but we're not big enough for evil people like you and I think it actually detracts from the arguments they're making about Republicans if they really are so evil they shouldn't want them that's a good point because it'd be one thing if these individuals said I've seen the light you know I'm a new kind of person I'm a liberal but they never do that that's not their role that would actually undermine their purpose their role is to say I'm like the good old Republicans not the bad current Republicans but the problem is that Democrats were saying all these sorts of things about George W bush and before that they were saying them even about George HW Bush they were certainly saying them about Reagan so when they come out and they say Trump is a Nazi he's a unique threat to the country he's going to send us into World War III it's the exact same script that we've heard for for many decades now which means that if if they say you know we like the good old Republicans but not the the new scary Republicans uh well does that mean you were lying then yeah and the answer is of course yes I'm curious your thoughts you said that you know Trump has obviously successfully taken over the Republican party which which I concur but I also think you have a lot of the kininger types who are sort of waiting in the wings and I'm just curious I mean I think that they're so desperate for Trump to lose because they want to say that 2016 was an aberration right and the kind of appeal to the more populist impulse of the Republican party that was a fluke it's never going to happen again so look here's the evidence Case Closed Adam kiner is the path forward Liz Cheney you know they're on the right side of History I don't know who believes that but what do you think sort of happens to that kind of Old Guard faction of the Republican party in a you know post not necessarily post Trump World but just post 2024 election no there's there's no going back there's never going back because time only moves forward so these people who are hanging on waiting for Bill Crystal to become the grand huba again you know better not hold their breath however we we shouldn't get cocky about it yeah uh the the Reagan three-part stool brought together three different groups the traditionalists religious right the U Libertarians and the the hawk Democrats and it worked because they all had a common enemy in the Soviet Union the traditionalists hated the atheism the Libertarians hated the collect M and the hawk Democrats hated the imperialism and so they kind of brought them all together into this conservative movement there there's been this uneasy Alliance going back to William F Buckley in the the postwar era uh between the you know the classical liberals the Libertarians and the more traditional conservatives between the kind of Elite Bow Tie types and the you know Rough and Tumble uh you know men men of the people and that Coalition has has always been a little awkward and sometimes incoherent but the the problem is there aren't enough of any of those individual groups to win any elections the Democrats are much more cohesive you know there there's really only one kind of democrat now and that's Progressive plus Joe mansion that's about it and and uh so for for the Republicans you get 100 in a room you get what the neocons the paleocons the traditionalists the Libertarians this that you know 100 Republicans 100 different types of Republicans and so they're going to be part of some f Coalition you know the Chamber of Commerce the country club types the moderates the squishes they're going to be part of a coalition from my perspective uh coming from the more conservative wing of the party someone who's quite happy with the uh uh Embrace of more working-class politics and populist politics not a likely Contender for a republican for Harris yeah probably not I'm not going to be up there with Adam kininger but but what what I would hope for is that we don't blow up the whole Republican Coalition it's just that for so long these squishy sellout outof touch Elites uh have have run the party and you know the the base has done a lot of the work and we get very little for it so my hope is that the the more conservative Wing leads the party and uh maybe we we let the squishes sit in the back seat for a while that is a history lesson with Michael nolles Tune in next week for another one from Professor nolles very good points there Michael uh I want to get now to Cassie AKA who is on the floor or in the arena I should say for the final night of the DNC Cassi you got to talk to some voters there I understand and some delegates about the weirdness of the Republican party what have you been hearing so first we've seen some weird things here including an abortion van we've seen the hotties for Harris and just other odd characters but what I really wanted to know was why they think that JD dance is weird we've heard it all over the place so I took one day of asking people this and here's what they said we keep hearing that JD dance is weird these guys are creepy and yes just weird as hell it's weird stuff is weird they come across weird they seem obsessed with this we're not afraid of weird people no matter what kind of weird stuff they keep saying and some of what he and his running mate are saying well it's just plain weird so what what what makes jie Vance weird just listen to him maybe I say more well I mean he's like he's weird because he is a he's fake I mean he there's 70,000 different answers I could [Music] give I don't have an opinion on oh he truly is like he lied about um he he doesn't understand any common people I me to me that's what makes them weird they're just [Music] weird I don't I don't know what makes them weird uh I don't like to use those terms myself well some of the things that he's been saying don't make a lot of sense he's just a weird guy I don't know what I believe is very weird about him was when he was uh running and he was so against Trump and he was advocating that Trump should not be allowed to be the president and now you've done a complete turnaround anyone that can change on a dime like a chameleon like that that's effing weird a lot of various things and then he flip-flopped from being like never Trumper to being his best friend does that make him weird or does that just make him like changing opinions I don't know like well what's weird I mean the the rumor the elephant in the room is that he apparently uh had relations with the couch there's this internet rumor and it's it's probably not based in fact but the internet is the internet and people have made jokes about it that JD fans enjoys uh couches in other ways should we get this it's weird also of the president to dictate who is black and who's not black in this country wait what do you mean who's black and who's not wait what I'm confused well president Trump he said that K Aris is not black I mean he's I mean it's not of his business to to to decide who's black was not but didn't Biden say you're not black if you don't vote for me didn't he say that if you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump and you ain't black I don't call that I guess he has to like defend his wife's Integrity because his party is full white supremacist that's pretty weird imagine if your partner is a you know shouldn't he shouldn't he be defending her is that a good thing it is a good thing okay but but what makes him weird like is it his face is it his outfit like what is it to me it's the things he says just oh he's just not the right person for us God it's just the anger the eyeliner just listening to him that's where he got the label just because like the fact that he hasu support these Maga like Republicans so the Maga Republicans are weird and him supporting in his yes exactly all right Cassie um what stuck out to you most about your interactions with these DNC attendees as Roy Cooper takes the stage behind you well I thought they would at least know why JD Vance is weird they really had no answer the only thing they could really point to was a false grotesque internet rumor so they really don't have an answer to this I think the real thing to say is that they just don't like him and not liking someone doesn't make them weird so they didn't know and it was really eye opening to talk to them about this for sure all right Cassie AKA on the ground in Chicago thanks so much for uh talking to all those folks and trying to get some straight answers out of them we appreciate it Cassie thank you all right Roy Cooper uh getting ready or speaking now kamla Harris will be taking the stage any minute now let's go hear what governor Cooper has to say you bet we are let's go get him she grew up in a tight-knit neighborhood it was the kind of place where your neighbor would look after you in the school let out all right well we were initially told that he would be introducing kamla Harris and that he would be the final speaker right before her Democrats have been taing this big surprise is it going to be Beyonce can't believe I've now said the name Beyonce four times on a live stream um but as the convention gets ready to wrap up Michael what are we going to hear from kamla Harris from Kamala or or Beyonce you're saying from Kamala from Kamala what are we going to hear from her we're we're going to hear uh more of the same W from the convention which is this this focus on freedom uh the focus on Joy we're going to hear uh a lot of giggling we're going to hear it's a joyful laugh it's it's sorry A Joyful laugh um we're we're going to hear uh a whole lot of hot air but the the purpose of the hot air is to reassure Democrats that she can fill the empty suit of Joe Biden with as her own empty suit uh obviously you're not going to hear a lot about policy other than abortion she'll probably hit on that uh she's going to talk about you she she'll probably talk about being that little girl you know she's she's not going to use the story that she used in 2020 when she ran for president which is she was a little girl trying to overcome racism and go to school when racist Joe Biden wouldn't let her get on the school bus she's going to change the story she changes a lot a lot of stories better youth we might hear a return of the the classic commala story that when she was a little girl she she just wanted to stand up for feedom which is really the the origin of this phrase as a kind of slogan for her campaign so we're going to hear some hagiography Auto geography uh about her youth uh and and uh the whole point of it is to uh rally up the base and make her seem normal to people in the middle so because the policies are so abnormal um to to say nothing of their their failure as they've been tried during Biden you're you're not going to get a lot of that but you know I guess the question with KLA is what have you ever gotten from her on a handful of occasions you've gotten her to promote radical policies like Medicare for all including for illegal aliens and open borders and giving the land back to the Indians even um but that that's never really worked for her so most of the time what you get is I like V diagrams I like yellow school buses you know I'm a little girl who loves Sweden and and uh that's probably all she's capable of saying tonight how much will we hear the name Donald Trump if she's smart probably not too much you know uh is she smart if uh beg if wishes were horses Beggars would ride uh I think she's going to try to keep this upbeat the upbeat thing has been working for her um it it you know Joe Biden the last days of his campaign were just so nasty and negative and doer and it matched his speech which was angry yes and it didn't work you know obviously it didn't work so I I think for her it's probably artificial but but she's she's picked this theme of of joy you know she's she's at the gas station getting Doritos with walls and her husband Doug they make a big social Med pointing out those duritos are actually those bags are now smaller they have fewer chips in them since the year 2020 quite literally shink FL they putting fewer Doritos in those bags because of policies yes they won't focus on that in the video so I think if she's if the campaign around her is smart let's say um they won't talk about Trump too much also because they've changed the focus of the campaign from the threat to democracy posted by Trump to freedom and in in part they did that obviously because Kamala wasn't democratically uh nominated but but also because the the existential threat posed by Trump to democracy established the justification to Assassin him and they've done a pretty good job at memory holding the the very near assassination of trump but I think they're they're not going to want to say anything that's going to really recall that to people's minds so uh for them you know they'll have they'll have the flax in the media attacking Trump from now until the election probably from now until Kingdom Come uh so for her I think she's going to try to stay positive I think you're going to get the run-of-the-mill bloviating from her that you've always come to expect you know being unburdened by what has been but I think there's always sort of a a sinister double speak there because there's one interpretation of what she's saying which is oh she's so out to lunch you know what is she saying but if you also unpack even the weird statements you know that sort of is reminiscent of what a lot of of marxist dictators have said and Ma and you know what I mean when they're talking about unburdening the future um or rather the past by by what has been so I think there's always sort of the gravity that our side needs to take her speeches the seriousness with that I think sometimes we get lost because it's so out there and outlandish but I think they always operate I mean they're in the city of Chicago for Pete's sake they're going to operate by the alinskyite rule of You Know accus The Enemy of what you're guilty of so I think you're gonna see I would I would almost wager oh here she comes so sorry to cut you off K Harris walking on stage right [Applause] now I'm keep run don't quit on [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] good evening get California good evening everyone good evening good evening oh my goodness good evening everyone good evening good good thank you thank you thank you good evening thank you thank you thank thank you thank you thank you everyone thank you thank you thank you thank you all thank you all okay we got to get to some business we got to get to some business okay thank you all okay thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you please thank you please thank you so very much thank you everyone thank you everyone thank you okay let's get to business let's get to business all right so let me start by thanking my most incredible husband [Music] Doug for being an incredible partner to me an incredible father to Cole Ella and happy anniversary douge I love you so very much to our President Joe Biden when I think about the path that we have traveled together Joe I am filled with gratitude your record is extraordinary as history will show and your character is inspiring and Doug and I love you and Jill and are forever thankful to you both and to coach Tim Walls you are going to be an incredible vice president and to the delegates and everyone who has put your faith in our campaign your support is humbling so America the path that led me here in recent weeks was no doubt unexpected but I'm no stranger to unlikely Journeys so my mother our mother shamala Harris had one of her own and I miss her every day and especially right now and I know she's looking down smiling Island I know that so my mother was 19 when she crossed the world alone traveling from India to California with an unshakable dream to be the scientist who would Cure breast cancer when she finished school she was supposed to return home to a traditional arranged marriage but as fate would have it she met my father Donald Harris a student from Jamaica they they fell in love and got married and that act of self-determination made my sister Maya and Me growing up we moved a lot I will always remember that big Mayflower truck packed with all our belongings ready to go to Illinois to Wisconsin and wherever our parents' jobs took us my early memories of our parents together are very joyful ones a home filled with laughter and music artha cold train and miles at the park my mother would say stay close but my father would say as he smiled run KLA run Don't Be Afraid don't let anything stop you from my earliest years he taught me to be Fearless but the harmony between my parents did not last when I was in elementary school they split up and it was mostly my mother who raised us before she could find finally afford to buy a home she rented a small apartment in the East Bay in the bay in the bay you either Liv in the Hills or the flat lands we lived in the flats a beautiful workingclass neighborhood of firefighters nurses and construction workers all who tended their lawns with Pride my mother she worked long hours and like many working parents she leaned on a trusted Circle to help raise us Mrs Shelton who ran the daycare below us and became a second mother Uncle Sherman Aunt Mary Uncle Freddy Auntie Chris none of them family by Blood and all of them family by love family who taught us how to make gumbo how to play tests and sometimes even let us win family Who Loved Us believed in us and told us we could be anything and do anything they instilled in us the values they personified Community faith and the importance of treating others as you would want to be treated with kindness respect and compassion my mother was a brilliant 5 foot tall brown woman with an accent and as the eldest child as the eldest child I saw how the world would sometimes treat her but my mother never lost her cool she was tough courageous a Trailblazer in the fight for Women's Health and she taught Maya and me a lesson that Michelle mentioned the other night she taught us to never complain about Injustice but do something about it do something about it that was my mother and she taught us and she always she also taught us and she also taught us and never do anything half asked and that is a direct quote a direct quote I grew up immersed in the ideals of the Civil Rights Movement my parents had met at a civil rights Gathering and they made sure that we learned about civil rights leaders including the lawyers like thur Good Marshall and con Constance Baker Motley those who battled in the courtroom to make real the promise of America so at a young age I decided I wanted to do that work I wanted to be a lawyer and when it came time to choose the type of law I would pursue I reflected did on a pivotal moment in my life you see when I was in high school I started to notice something about my best friend Wanda she was sad at school and there were times she didn't want to go home so one day I asked if everything was all right and she confided in me that she was being sexually abused by her stepfather and I immediately told her she had to come stay with us and she did this is one of the reasons I became a prosecutor to protect people like Wanda because I believe everyone has a right to safety to dignity and to Justice as a prosecutor when I had a case I charged it not in the name of the victim but in the name of the people for a simple reason in our system of justice a harm against any one of us is a harm against all of us and I would often explain this to console survivors of crime to remind them no one should be made to fight alone we we are all in this together and every day in the courtroom I stood proudly before a judge and I said five words comma Harris for the [Music] people and to be clear and to be clear my entire career I've only had one client the people and so on behalf of the people on behalf of every American regardless of party race gender or the language your grandmother speaks on behalf of my mother and everyone who has ever set out on their own unlikely Journey on behalf of Americans like the people I grew up with people who work hard chase their dreams and look out for one another on behalf of everyone whose story could only be written in the greatest nation on Earth I accept your nomination to be president of the United States of America and with this election and and with this election our na our nation with this election has a precious fleeting opportunity to move past the bitterness cynicism and divisive battles of the past a chance to chart a new way forward not not as members of any one party or faction but as Americans and let me say I know there are people of various political views watching tonight and I want you to know I promise to be a president for all Americans you can always trust me to put country above party and self to hold sacred America's fundamental principles from the rule of law to free and fair elections to the peaceful transfer of power I will be a President Who unites us around our highest aspirations a president who leads and listens who is realistic practical and has common sense and always fights for the American people from the courthouse to the White House that has been my life's work as a young courtroom prosecutor in Oakland California I stood up for women and children against predators who abuse them as Attorney General of California I took on the big Banks delivered $20 billion for middle class families who faced foreclosure and helped pass a homeowner Bill of Rights one of the first of its kind in the nation I stood up for veterans and students being scammed by big for-profit colleges for workers who are being cheated out of their wages the wages they were due for seniors facing elder abuse I fought against the cartels who traffick in guns and drugs and human beings who threaten the security of our border and the safety of our communities and I will tell you these fights were not easy and neither were the elections that put me in those offices we were underestimated at practically every turn but we never gave up because the future is always worth fighting for and that's the fight we are in right now a fight for America's future fellow Americans this election is not only the most important of Our Lives it is one of the most important in the life of our [Music] nation in many ways Donald Trump is an unserious man but the consequence es but the consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House are extremely serious consider consider not only the chaos and Calamity when he was in office but also the gravity of what has happened since he lost the last election Donald Trump tried to throw away your votes when he failed he sent an armed mob to the United States capital where they assaulted Law Enforcement Officers when politicians in his own party begged him to call off the mob and send help he did the opposite he fanned the flames and now for an entire entirely different set of crimes he was found guilty of fraud by a jury of everyday Americans and separately and separately found liable for committing sexual abuse and consider consider what he intends to do if we give him power again consider his explicit intent to set free violent extremists who assaulted those law enforcement officers at the capital his explicit intent to jail journalists political opponents and anyone he sees as the enemy his explicit intent to deploy our active duty military against our own citizens consider consider the power he will have especially after the United States Supreme Court just ruled that he would be immune from Criminal prosecution just imagine Donald Trump with no guard rails and how he would use the immense powers of the presidency of the United United States not to improve your life not to strengthen our national security but to serve the only client he has ever had himself and we know and we know what a second Trump term would look like it's all laid out in Project 20 25 written by his closest advisors and its sum total is to pull our country back to the past but America we are not going back we are not going back we are not going back we are not going back to when Donald Trump tried to cut Social Security and Medicare we are not going back to when he tried to get rid of the Affordable Care Act when insurance companies could deny people with pre-existing conditions we are not going to let him eliminate the Department of Education that funds our Public Schools we are not going to let him end programs like Head Start that provide preschool and child care for our children America we are not not going [Applause] back and we are charting and we are charting a new way forward forward to a future with a strong and growing middle class because we know a strong middle class has always been critical to America's success and building that middle class will be a defining goal of my presidency and I'll tell you this is personal for me the middle class is where I come from my mother kept a strict budget we lived within our means yet we wanted for little and she expected us to make the most of the opportunities that were available to us and to be grateful for them because as she taught us opportunity is not available to everyone that's why we will create what I call an opportunity economy an opportunity economy where everyone has the chance to compete and a chance to succeed whether you live in a rural area small town or big city and as president I will bring together labor and workers and small business owners and entrepreneurs and American companies to create jobs to grow our economy and to lower the cost of everyday needs like Health Care and housing and groceries we will provide access to capital for small business owners and entrepreneurs and Founders and we will end America's housing shortage and protect Social Security and Medicare now compare that to Donald Trump because I think everyone here knows he doesn't actually fight for the middle class not he doesn't actually fight for theid class instead he fights for himself and his billionaire friends and he will give them another round of tax breaks that will add up to $5 trillion to the national debt and all the while he intends to enact what in effect is a national sales tax call it a trump tax that would raise prices on middle class families by almost $4,000 a year well instead of a trump tax hike we will pass a middle class tax cut that will benefit more than 100 million Americans friends I believe America cannot truly be prosperous unless Americans are fully able to to make their own decisions about their own lives especially on matters of heart and home but tonight in America too many women are not able to make those decisions and let's be clear about how we got here Donald Trump handpicked members of the United States Supreme Court to take away reproductive freedom and now he brags about it in his words quote I did it and I'm proud to have done it end quote well I'll tell you over the past two years I've traveled across our country and women have told me their stories husbands and fathers have shared theirs stories of women miscarrying in a parking lot developing sepsis losing the ability to ever again have children all because doctors are afraid they may go to jail for caring for their patients couples just trying to grow their family cut off in the middle of IVF treatments children who have survived sexual assault potentially being forced to carry a pregnancy to term this is what's happening in our country because of Donald Trump and understand he is not done as a part of his agenda he and his allies would limit access to birth control ban medication abortion and enact a nationwide abortion ban with or without Congress and get this get this plans to create a national anti-abortion coordinator and force states to report on women's miscarriages and abortions simply put they are out of their minds and one must ask one must ask why exactly is it that they don't trust women well we trust women we trust women and when Congress passes a bill to restore reproductive Freedom as president of the United States I will proudly sign it into law in this election many other fundamental freedoms are at stake the freedom to live safe from gun violence in our schools communities and places of worship the freedom to love who you love openly and with pride the freedom to breathe clean air and drink clean water and live free from the pollution that fuels the climate crisis and the freedom that unlocks all the others the freedom to vote with this election we finally have the opportunity to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the freedom to vote Act and let me be clear and let me be clear after decades in law enforcement I know the importance of Safety and Security especially at our border last year Joe and I brought together Democrats and conservative Republicans to write the strongest border bill in decades the border patrol endorsed it but Donald Trump believes a border deal would hurt his campaign so he ordered his allies in Congress to kill the deal well I refuse to play politics with our security and here is my pledge to you as president I will bring back the bipartisan border of security bill that he killed and I will sign it into law I know I know we can live up to our proud Heritage as a nation of immigrants and reform our broken immigration system we can create an earned Pathway to citizenship and secure our border and America we must also be steadfast in advancing our security and values abroad as vice president I have confronted threats to our security negotiated with foreign leaders strengthened our alliances and engaged with our brave troops overseas as commanderin-chief I will ensure America always has the strongest most Leal fighting force in the world and I will fulfill our sacred obligation to care for our troops and their families and I will always honor and never disparage their service and their sacrifice I will make sure that we lead the world into the future on space and artificial intelligence that America not China wins the competition for the 21st century and that we strengthen not abdicate our Global Leadership Trump on the other hand threatened to abandon NATO he encouraged Putin to invade our allies said Russia could quote do whatever the hell they want 5 days before Russia attacked Ukraine I met with president zansky to warn him about Russia's plan to invade I helped mobilize a Global Response over 50 countries to defend against Putin's aggression and as president I will stand strong with Ukraine and our NATO allies with respect to the war in Gaza President Biden and I are working around the clock because now is the time to get a hostage deal and a ceasefire deal done and let me be clear and let me be clear I will always stand up for Israel's right to defend itself and I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself because the people of Israel must never again face the horror that a terrorist organization called Hamas called on October 7 including unspeakable sexual violence and the massacre of young people at a music festival at the same time what has happened in Gaza over the past 10 months is devastating so many innocent lives lost desperate hungry people fleeing for safety over and over again the scale of suffering is heartbreaking President Biden and I are working to end this war such that Israel is secure the hostages are released the suffering in Gaza ends and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity security freedom and self-determination and know this I will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend our forces and our interests against Iran and iran-backed terrorists I will not Co up to tyrants and dictators like Kim Jong-un who are rooting for Trump who are rooting for TR Trump because you know they know they know he is easy to manipulate with flattery and favors they know Trump won't hold autocrats accountable because he wants to be an autocrat himself and as president I will never waver in defense of America's security and ideals because in the enduring struggle between democracy and tyranny I know where I stand and I know where the United States belongs so fellow Americans fellow Americans I I love our country with all my heart Everywhere I Go Everywhere I Go in everyone I meet I see a nation that is ready to move forward ready for the next step in The Incredible Journey that is America I see an America where we hold fast to The Fearless belief that built our nation and inspired the world that here in this country anything is possible that nothing is Out Of Reach an America where we care for one another look out for one another and recognize that we have so much more in common than what separates us that none of us none of us has to fail for all of us to succeed and that in unity there is strength you know our opponents in this race are out there every day denigrating America talking about how terrible every thing is well my mother had another lesson she used to teach never let anyone tell you who you are you showed them who you are America let us show each other and the world Who We Are and what we stand for Freedom opportunity compassion dignity fairness and Endless Possibilities We Are The Heirs to the greatest democracy in the history of the world and on behalf of our children and our grandchildren and all those who sacrificed so dearly for our freedom and liberty we must be worthy of this moment it is now our turn to do what Generations before us have done Guided by optimism and Faith to fight for this country we love to fight for the ideals we cherish and to uphold the awesome responsibility that comes with the greatest privilege on Earth the privilege and pride of being an American so let's get out there let's fight for it let's get out there let's vote for it and together let us write the next great chapter in the most extraordinary Story Ever Told thank you God bless you and may God bless the United States of America thank you all there you have it kamla Harris wrapping up the final speech from the DNC convention in Chicago um first it is worth pointing out we heard all day from reporters that there was going to be this Monumental surprise on the convention floor TMZ actually did say they had a scoop that Beyonce was going to be there we have not yet seen that surprise bench airo did tweet that the big surprise everyone was talking about is that kamla Harris would finally un her policy platform uh that surprise also did not come to fruition so Michael your initial reactions on what we just saw uh what basically what we expected is what we got not a lot on policy the only policy she talked about was her blood lust for innocent little babies uh she she hit Trump a little bit um there was the the Trump segment in there it was largely tied in with abortion though which was the one issue they could talk about it was striking that after this DNC we find that prosecutors are good again we were told by the Democrats for years now that prosecutors are very evil prosecutors are good again America which we've also been told is is very evil America is very good again uh this is the most extraordinary Story Ever Told so now we've got uh American exceptionalism don't know how that's going to play with the Ina crowd in the Democrats she did bring up the Israel Palestine issue once which is the the core controversy at this that may have gotten the loudest Applause too it was it was the the call for Palestinian self-determination got the loudest Round of Applause of the whole uh Speech however notice she called for Palestinian self-determination but not a Palestinian state so even there not really changing anything about the Biden policy she she did what she's very good at doing which is saying whatever is called for at the moment even if it contradicts what she said for her whole career even if it has no specifics and is all ambiguity she's going to make sound that resemble words that cobbled together give the vague impression of speech yeah I think you sort of saw that Sinister double speak that I was talking about because she has to appease like I think what we started the show talking about the people inside the barricades but also the people outside the barricades because it's the same party and I think the phrase that you heard her say a lot was New Way Forward that was sort of what they had previewed Her speech was going to be but that also while it might you know sort of fit into the you know unburdening what has been kind of positive though kind of vapid meaningless outlook on what a future constitutes that's also sort of a dog whistle right to a 2019 very radical immigration policy proposal endorsed by AOC the worst of the worst in Congress um basically making illegal immigration um not a criminal offense but a civil offense um not cooperating at least on the state and local levels with law enforcement to deport people so I think that's where you sort of see this tongue and cheek double play double speak with things that at face value on the outside maybe sound oh New Way Forward sounds good to me but if you really drill down and you kind of peak behind the curtain which I think is true for really the patkin village that is the Democratic party or maybe trojan horse is a better uh description though I think the city of Troy had better border security than we do right um but when you really unpack it and and you you look what's underneath it's radical it's destroying the country and it's intentional the new Way Forward messaging while not the exact quote is is almost identical to what she was saying on the campaign Trail in 2020 yeah when she was promising a new way forward pass Donald Trump much of this speech could have been lifted from 2020 when she was saying about what would happen if Donald Trump was not defeated what exactly have the last three and a half years been if we now need A New Path forward from what she has been the number two in charge for one quote that stuck up to me also my entire career I've only had one client the people typically Paul politicians try to run from the fact if they've never held any sort of job in the private sector if they've only ever been employed by taxpayers usually they don't want to bring that up and it was interesting that she brought that up uh another part there she really went after Donald Trump for killing this supposedly bipartisan border deal that she said even some of the most conservative members supported this border deal but Donald Trump killed it Michael we were talking off fair about why Donald Trump was against it well he was against it because it would have made the immigration crisis worse so uh the he he was also against it because the government that the Biden Harris government did not need any new law to enforce the existing law and Trump made this point I've been yelling this till I'm bleue in the face for months now Trump himself made this point yesterday quite beautifully which is he pointed out you know I didn't have that law when I was president and my border numbers were a lot better than Biden's so and and furthermore the the other reason not to pass some new law is is that if the Democrats are not willing to enforce the laws on the books there's no reason to believe that they would enforce some new law that you passed much less a law that would give a pathway to citizenship that would lead these people on a pathway to citizenship that would give de facto Mass amnesty and that would really only kick in the enforcement Provisions when the Border encounter numbers got up to thousands of people per day and and it if it gets up to 8,000 people in a single day good finally we can enforce the Border uh I don't know that doesn't sound like a great deal to me I wish we were the Republican party that these Democrats made us out to be at least when it comes to immigration right yeah Donald Trump uh posting on Truth social throughout the night we had some of those up on the screen some of his live reactions here she talked about the rule of law but as borders are she allowed 20 million people into our country many of them criminals who are maming and killing our people and again one of the the posts that he made and it's a theme that he's been repeating throughout he said why didn't she do something about the things of which she complains do you think that's essentially the core message from the Trump campaign that we should hear sure you know it's very silly that she's running as a challenger candidate when in fact she's effectively the incumbent but kamla gets graded on a curve and she has this handicap because nobody seriously believes she's had influence in the Biden Administration uh nobody really think Biden's had influence in the Biden Administration so you know that argument that she's been in charge for the past three and a half years that isn't going to really play because everyone knows it's just kind of a blob of a bureaucracy that's in charge who knows maybe Barack Obama who remained in Washington after leaving office maybe he's playing a role but no no one's going to really point the blame at commala she came in last minute and so they're they're going to give her a lot of Grace I think what we've got to be waiting for from this campaign that's sprung up out of nowhere and that has to repeat many of the same lines from 2020 what we've got to be looking for is is a phrase I used earlier in the broadcast the October surprise because the big advantage that they're these Democrats are playing with right now is that Kamala and walls are fresh it's this breath of fresh air in the race and it's going to bring up a lot of enthusiasm but fresh means unvetted fresh means open to attacks there I promise you there's no October surprise on Trump they've they've tried it they've tried everything they can little early almost went to jail and they almost blew his head off but he right there's nothing to to bring up on Trump for these people we don't know anything about Tim Walls we don't really know anything about Kamala Harris she dropped out of the Democrat Primary in 2020 before the first votes were cast so there was there was no chance for the real Oppo research to kick in now I I don't know that the Republicans have good Oppo on these guys I I do know that they've got a handful of weeks in which to gather it and I am quite confident that they're is a lot to be gathered so that's also something that could really shake up this race the first time we're ever going to see kamla have to answer without the glitz and the Glamour and the the protection of the establishment media is going to be at the one debate that she has agreed to with Trump that's going to be one chance for the race to dramatically change and then the other Chance is going to be when the campaigns traditionally drop their their uh Bombshells with early voting and mailin voting maybe it's going to be a September surprise than October surprise but that's a big opportunity and as far as I can tell on that front the Democrats are are defenseless because they've they've shot everything they can at Trump bullets have been shot at Trump uh so there's really nothing left for them to drop it would also so greatly uh contradict the image that theyve put out there of kamla and especially of Tim Walls as this a Shucks innocent dad energy type guy and I do think that that is part of the danger of building him up in that manner because if something like this does come out it would have an outsized impact Natalie do you think that tonight this moment right now is the peak of the Harris campaign o I hope not um I I think president Trump I think in those truth posts I think there's sort of a genius behind the attack line of you know you're in office why aren't you doing anything because I think that really makes Americans think I think sort of The Perennial question of the Biden regime which is we call it a regime at the war room I guess pran slip but um you know is the Pol are the policies that they're putting out the chaos that they're just plaguing this country with whether it's immigration economy inflation you name it is it intentional or is it as a result of incompetence right and I think they've proven frankly that they're incompetent but I think that there's something more more Sinister with a lot of the policies that they're pushing whether it's you know purposely going out of their way not just by blocking immigration policies but going out of their way to reverse whether it's the DNA testing the title 42 um not letting border fencing be put up ending the safe Third Country agreements right there's something that they are taking agency they are using the political clout and power that they have to go out of their way to make Americans lived experience worse and I think that that's sort of the genius of of that play that the Trump campaign um is putting out but in terms of if this is the high point for the Harris campaign I would expect a lot more um October surprises especially for someone like Tim Waltz who's so deeply embedded with the Chinese commun party but just also too to your point what you were talking about you know when you see we're already starting with the mail and ballots and early voting I also think again like we were discussing on the show so much it's not about Cala it's not about Tim Waltz right you're up against a system that frankly is funded primarily by dark black money right that you can't really even see it's not about Harris and I think we've seen the politicization of Elections sort of election Warfare in a sense and I think you're already starting to see frankly what I would argue smoke signals from The Establishment media when it comes to Shenanigans ex eccentricities whatever you want to call it around the election in the sense of they're already starting to say there's shortages of election workers they're already starting to say that you need to expect delays in election results that's a direct headline from The Washington Post at least when it comes to Pennsylvania I mean uh Cobb County in Georgia is spending 50,000 taxpayer dollars to buy Panic buttons for election workers talk about Stolen Valor and LARPing right but there's this narrative that developing that election office as election workers elections as an institution right sort of I think the logical extension of the Democracy critique of President Trump are under attack and I think that that is a narrative independent of Cala and what she's saying that our side needs to take very seriously because it's not really about the polls in the sense of Cala versus Trump who can handle inflation better who can handle immigration better you're dealing with a highly politicized election that is about to start soon and uh mail and ballot signature verification all of that is going to be something that I think has much cons much more considerable weight in terms of impacting the election than any speech or policy platform or position that they could put out now one thing that we heard from Harris a good bit was this term democracy talking about they're going to defend free and fair elections and uphold democracy it Bears repeating not only did she not receive a single democratic primary vote in the 2020 race because she dropped out before Iowa she did not receive a single vote in the 2024 race either and I do think that that is something to remind people of Michael let's close with you your final thoughts on this illustrious evening from Chicago the outfit the outfit was weird we were talking about this a little bit while I was not talking about this I know nothing about fashion it was the two of us we were gabbing about it uh the outfit was weird because it was a big broad shouldered uh bladee ER that Cameo is wearing very dark I think black uh single breasted which is some somewhat unusual for women big fat giant Peak lapel like she's you know going to go sing with Dean Martin or something like that uh you know big wide pants and this is intentional obviously you know her her stylists are very precisely trying to craft a message here and so I think she was trying to project a a masculine um ethos and did it somewhat success that Doug and Tim Walls did not project masculine energy she projected a lot more masculine energy than those CNN or MSNBC finally admitted that low te men are Democrats yes trying to Alpha them they aren't they are not testosterone lated quote to quote the cable news uh so she she was trying to to project this I think she recognizes that you know she picked Tim Walls to be the masculine side of the ticket that's not working out very well so she's going to have to match Donald Trump's masculine energy you know to for to use a popular phrase um and it it was somewhat successful but it it did remind me oh yeah we are dealing with a a woman running for president and I don't want to sound like a big lib here but that that does pose a lot of challenges for the Democrats they're they're all in on identity politics and they think that men and specifically white men are are the devil incarnate uh but it it's unusual she she would be I'm watching the speech and I think think this could be the first woman president uh if if she plays her cards right and is able to to sail through you know without ever receiving a primary vote uh it could happen but she has more challenges before her than I think uh they're letting on and then Republicans even are are acknowledging to ourselves yeah well I have certainly enjoyed my time with you all maybe uh the folks at home I feel different about watching um the stream from the DNC itself
