what's up goer fans and welcome to episode seven of behind the game I'm your host Emma churches and today we're here at Elsie's and I'll be bowling with Dron kesich Max brosmer and Daniel Jackson let's get to it okay guys thank you for joining me for a little Friday morning bowling session thanks for having us thank you locked in yeah okay so just to get some questions started off Max you transferred here at the end of the winter so can you tell us what made this decision pretty easy for you mhm um I've always been someone that you know believes in in culture and and team atmosphere um I thought that you know when I visited here um one thing I was looking for was a team that you know was going to take me in um as one of their own really quickly um and I found that you know to be pretty evident as I walked in here um from the very first day um I thought the the team was you know the team that I want to be a part of um there's a lot of teams in the country um that you know say that they're a Brotherhood um that maybe actually aren't as tight as this group was um and I felt that from the day that I walk in Dron you've been here for a while now yeah can you tell us what made Minesota special to you being as you're from Wisconsin yeah uh I mean coach Fleck is like the the reason and Coach Wanger at the time shout out coach Wanger but uh yeah it was a pretty easy decision obviously being from Wisconsin I wanted to go to Wisconsin I wanted to be a Badger but then uh that opportunity didn't happen so I was like let's go to Minnesota stay in the Big 10 and let's play for the AXS and we've won it twice since I've been here so let's win it a third this year yeah y welcome welcome right on time yeah can you tell the audience as to why you decided to stay here in Minnesota um I really say the brothers here my teammates been here for four years you know uh fostered great friendships and relationships with everybody on the staff and I think that's really what it's about more important than uh you know nil or other things so I say the relationships that I've built with my teammates are you more excited to play Iowa or Wisconsin this upcoming season there's something special about the Wisconsin game um I think both I think all the rivalry games are really special here um but me I think that I'm pretty excited to to go play for the a I think the um that's something that I feel that will be pretty fun to to Ho at the end it's a good answer it's a good answer for some reason I think I hate Iowa more but I think the axe is the one I'm more excited to play for this year yeah definitely excited for the Wisconsin game get the a back at Camp Randle yeah going to Camp Randle is definitely for our senior year so yeah and you're seventh year okay well aside from those games are there any any teams that you're excited to play this season that we at at UCLA yeah that'll be fun you know growing up watching like the Rose Bowl I we get to play in the stadium where the rose BS played yeah that that'll be that'll be fun yeah I got to go to the Rose bow uh a couple years ago for the Ohio State Utah game that was really cool that was like a a lifelong dream to go to go to the Rose Bowl um now actually be able to play in the stadium that's pretty cool so uh ID say the UFC game first game of the year um just because last year honestly but us USC I don't know I like the pow blue yeah you know make it dirty but would you not want to get sacked by on our defense all of them um you got we got some we got some some talented dudes up front um on both sides of the ball on offensive line and defensive line but that was the question it's a it's a good battle um I think I try not to get sacked as as much as possible so but I think you got JW you got Deon e you got Anthony Smith you gotor STG Ral yeah um yeah they got we got some good dudes up there yeah my I I would just say Deon I mean I don't really go against defensive guys but if I had to not go against somebody it' be Deon eou did you say anti ANS or aunti ANS anti anti ATI yes that's so weird [Laughter] one okay well Max I know you haven't spent a summer in Minnesota yet but would you guys rather have no AC or no heat for an entire year no heat and no heat because you could always layer up with blankets but when you're hot there's nothing you can do except sweat wa hold on man yeah like sleeping when it's hot too is not fun that's what I'm saying I'd rather have no heat I'd rather have AC yeah then heat yeah in the summer especially even in the winter like bro you could you could put seven blankets heat give me the AC no wait what I say yeah give me the AC AC give me the AC not even even close yeah I'm the same way if you guys were superheroes what do you think your trait would be I try to think about this I think about this question a lot that's a hard question it is so many two of them that I really want what what are the why do you want invisibility uh you can like um do things and not see can't be seen yeah um but teleportation obviously like you don't have to wait at airports you don't have to drive hours you can just say I'm jeely in teleportation where would be the first place you go uh off the bat I always want to go to Italy Italy I want to go to Italy yeah we can hit Italy and then we can go to Serbia and then we'll hit Greece I want to go to mikonos Greece okay cool then Vegas after oh yes what dude if we could teleport we could go to Vegas every day like literally dude go play like some Blackjack and then come back for practice would you guys rather play a game at the end of August or at the end of November yeah definitely August G win kick it right there game winning touchdown yeah yeah so take us back to that game the greatest CCH in go for history yeah what was going through both of your minds that the plays that you guys had that changed the entire game well I was more nervous on the pat after his touchdown I don't know why in comparison to the game when he field goal but I don't know I I walked out there and I looked to my right and there was a like a Streaker on the field I like I mean he was clothed but I don't know if it was like a manager going to get something or if it was like a fan and I was like wait I should probably like lock in for this kick so then like I started taking my steps and they bang a timeout and I was like all right well here we go we got to hit this one and then next thing I know everybody I hit it goes in and everybody surrounded Crawford picked up Crawford so funny bro dude everybody picked up Crawford and I was like I was like he deserves it so it's fine the best hold in Go's history exactly yeah okay djck what was going through your brain after that touchdown did you know right away that you had made the catch um well like during the touchdown like I guess before like leaving up to I was like thinking like at least our last shot like cuz it was fourth down right yeah it was fourth down I was like dang last shot I was like all right I know we going to call a pass and flip but uh after afterwards um yeah I was just excited Cory was the first person so I was like KH I didn't know if I scored or not I didn't look at the ref or not but if I I seen Cory run up to me celebrating so I'm like okay it got to be a touchdown yeah and then uh yeah it was just I don't know it was dope cuz the game technically wasn't over but you could feel the energy and everything and so it was just exting that whole like that last like five minutes of that game was just nuts yeah cuz it was like they were driving then Wall-E hit the fumble yeah and then we drove down the field it was fourth and goal you're touchdown yeah you're touchdown and yeah I almost missed the extra point bro and then noobs interception and then it would have been a 58 yard field goal and then sha Tyler busted an 11 yard run banging the timeout with 3 seconds left bro it was like a something like you right up situation something you right up in Madden bro situation bro yeah would you guys rather beat a team off of a Hail Mary or you know a a game winning kick game-winning kick or buy a 20 points let's take like Iowa for example or Wisconsin how would you rather beat them oh that's a that's a good question I mean if it's the Rivalry game m i mean you're you're pretty lit for winning the game in general so like beating them by 20 that makes you feel really good yeah sometimes the hill Mar though selfishly I'd want to say selfishly I'd want to say kick the field goal but beating like Iowa by like 20 points would be so dope that would be dope cuz then everybody like that's how you like that's domination yeah it's like you left no room for error or doubt right you close the door FL comes home you had four field goals against Iowa what was going through your brain over there like but yeah that was such a surreal feeling cuz like and everybody knows about the punt return in inare catch stuff like that but when I tell you it was like after the game I was like there's I don't even know how to explain it it was just like so surreal well we haven't beat him at Iowa since 1999 but obviously it's a it's a team a team Victory so hopefully he's here to stay no I was definitely most unreal like after game experience oh dude that was it's like it's like it's similar to Wisconsin but that one just hit a little bit different yeah cuz even like when they were throwing throwing drinks on the field at us and we had to like move the half field cuz they like throwing it was dude it was like backyard football yeah it was like that's awesome yeah it was so smooth bro I used to playan I used to play I used to play I used to play I used to play center what I used to play center back in back in like like seven years old emergency situ that was a kicker at some point to had about one one good kick on my uh on my build do you guys have any special or secret talents that the public might not know about a secret Talent is uh I would say the best overall Athlete on the football team top three uh three-point shooter on the team no um I can throw the ball I can catch the ball I'll win in Bowling tennis anything especially against DJ you not even beat me in Bowling yeah I will bowling I promise you did you bring your own bowling ball no you didn't I did and I have my own shoes trust me you're done he has a song you Max has a song yeah he has a song song singer songwriter yep I would consider myself a part-time athlete part-time singer songwriter it's on like you can stream it bro we're playing we're playing train room song it's on all platforms okay so just remember DJ andon both are claiming that they are going to beat the other there it is baby that's a great start oh yeah got two down he actually got two there that's fine that's okay he got oh oh no way ooh looks like they going us some competition no no I told you I was a warm-up Bowl I like it all right now you
