college football season is here it will be a big night at Carter Finley Stadium for NC State's home opener and that means you can expect a lot of traffic in that area W's Kelsey coffee is on Western Boulevard this morning Kelsey game traffic combined with construction could lead to backups for drivers tonight Renee if anyone is driving near Carter finle Stadium they should expect some traffic later this evening there's so many road projects that are happening in the area and including here on Western Boulevard so Cruz will be here tonight around 7:00 working on some pipes and that's right at kickoff time there's another uh major construction project that's happening on Blue Ridge Road that could impact your evening commute near the stadium you're looking at video now of the construction from last month ncdot says the project won't be complete until next year all of the road projects that were active last football season are still under construction right now but there's one change you may have noticed last week all eastbound traffic shifted on the Belt Line from Western to Wade and Hillsboro Street NCD says they met with uh State Highway Patrol to talk about all of the traffic impacts to make sure that they're prepared so we'll be sure to keep you updated Kelsey Coffee wrl News live in Raleigh
