and I tell some of these drivers what the great Dale Senor taught me so all I do is is tell everybody what I learned what people told me I did the same thing I bitched and moaned about running second uh back in my bush Grant national days I was trying to do the tough thing so follow me here when I say this there's this thought that if you don't complain then that means you don't want it that's false everybody knows we all want it so anyway I'm complaining to Dale nhart senior senior calls me up you know Herman come on up Herman uh uh senior would say come on up to the Deerhead shop where he had all the Deerhead and he was so famous he couldn't go out so he had spaghetti and salad brought in and I'm doing the old ah hate second I can't believe I run second which in reality is a boldfaced lie for anybody if you're not happy with second there's something wrong with you what do you want to do run fifth or sixth so you know that that that's just the reality of it see people think wrong they think wrong they think they think they're showing miserableness oh I run second I wanted to win so bad no idiot I didn't mean idiot I didn't mean that I take that back no you're thinking wrong so ear heart senior said this to me he said boy you take those second places that'll win you a championship so you know like nard had won some championships maybe winning two four races a year second places you know the guy in front of you he only gain a couple points on you that's what nhart taught me
