First Time Vegas Racing - F1 2024 Driver Career

the end of the day all the time at the end of the day anyway we finished practice we did all the things we um we were hoping that gazley would do this but he's not but we're almost done with all these um we have a lot more here to do um a lot more there but Gaz is still trying to upgrade for the season which I don't agree with we should be really focusing for next season although we don't know if we're staying in alpi we don't there's been a couple moments where I'm like [ __ ] gly um but Alpine is fighting you know if you look at the bar we are with ASD you know we're part of there's now a midsection to teams it's not just ason Martin fighting alone anymore we are right there with them in the middle of everything so let's just get to qualifying I haven't had much practice today and I don't think we're going to do well I don't uh standby to see cars at more than 210 mph blasting their way down the strip F1 has taken over it's F1 fever Las Vegas hey it's my car did just put whats on my car uh we're going to start with the mediums that's what we're going to do just start with the mediums and we should hopefully have a decent Banker lab or is behind me but they're not too close so Max that's definitely in and if we didn't mess up that one corner going into the second stra second or that last straight I think we would have beat Max so you know over one I'm a qualifier you know some people in these games they suck at qualifying and they're great in a race or they're like me and they're vice versa I'm great at qualifying I'm horrible in a race horrible I wish I was better in a race honestly I do I think it would be more fun to start further back and work our way up consistently than it would be to start further up and then try not to fall back Gaz barely making it in by the way um uh stroll not making it in George Russell not making it in so the fact that both alpines make it in really does kind of like kick a few people out that should be in which is nice it's nice ah monkey R I don't know if you know the news but I'm going to break this to you the F1 news as of the last race it was Logan Sergeant's last race as an F1 driver and he has been replaced by a young Argentinian who is six who is sixth place in the F2 Championship which by the way huge W for Argentina it's like huge news back there apparently apparently it's massive news but I am a sad boy for Logan I'm a happy boy for Franco um but no more Americans so next year in 2025 I expect the game to focus more on the my team career again um because that's what it you know that team focuses on but when we do that Logan's going to be on our team I'm telling you now forever any my team from now on any uh F1 manager we're going to be picking [Music] Logan Latino yeah Latino's up right now straight up we don't expect him to stay with Williams although I think he is in the Williams organization so he probably will if he the thing is his he doesn't have a seat next year right it's signs's seat for 2025 Carlos signs is going to Williams that is confirmed from Ferrari to [Music] Williams so he really has to prove himself for the rest of the season to have a seat or else he doesn't really have much of an F1 career he has a huge amount of work ahead of him and he has to prove that he's not crash happy it's the reason why Logan C got taken away he crashed in practice in the Netherlands and that was the last [Music] draw that was bad that was really [Music] bad you know they went through the whole summer break keeping Logan and then the first race back he crashes in practice and they drop him after the race it's so sad I mean it's like it's fair right he's costing them a ton of [Music] money and you know if you're costing the team more money than you're bringing in sponsor wise which Logan was great for sponsors by the way that's why they kept him for so long that's a horrible laot [Music] we don't have enough fuel for another we have to go back immediately I'm kind of glad we had that spare set of tires now oh we have two hell yeah everyone ready we're going to drive out this time just save as much time a I should have added more fuel to do two laps but it's fine it's fine so yeah next next season's grid is going to be very very different it was Hamilton's Ferrari Carlos signs to Williams uh it's rumored that this is Daniel Ricardo's last [Music] season no it's just rumors though at the point at this point no one knows how true that is it's possible this is Perez's last season although he did just get a new contract before he started really screwing up but who knows you know if he really costed team enough money contracts don't matter [Music] so if you're under performing contracts just don't matter cuz there's definitely a clause in there that says if you don't perform to the team's expectations you're [Music] gone you don't know so so ever since Monaco he's really so the race right before Monaco he got his um he got his contract for Newton this is a thing with Perez historically when he gets his contract forew for some reason he starts to suck it's happened a few times so we don't know it's really up in the air but you know Red Bull might be sick of it right they might be looking for someone more consistent and there was a lot of talk about you here or Daniel Ricardo getting called up or maybe signed getting that seed obviously signs is since we started first guys a long time and again this is my first race it is 50% race we need to stay in formation and start bringing the car up to temperature please get some load to the tires and work the brakes we want them nice and warm by the end of this lap since f123 was my first game my first F1 game and I only got it two months before this game came out the past few races and this one have been my first time on these tracks so after this because of F2 I will know the two tracks but that are left but this is the final of the stable at the moment no rain currently expected would you let me talk Mark but yeah it's 50% [Music] race so only be 25 laps which is wild [Music] oh yeah I did you also see the safety car crash was that was that this weekend or am I getting it mixed up I think that was this weekend this week whatever safety car crash is crazy some people were saying it looks like a brake failure I still haven't seen the clip so I've just seen the [Music] aftermath that's all I've [Music] seen and the fact that they had a lot of trouble getting it off the you know off the track because the F1 cars are specifically built with a thing that you can too oh [ __ ] it's right here I thought it'd be way further down oh my God I wasn't ready that's going to give you the edge if you can get good launch as the race start was ready we got lucky that we still got5 okay so that's the rest of the grid forming up now be patient and watch for those lights all right well I mean you got to remember our car is as good as an Aston Martin we are in the middle in that get past [Music] this race is going to take a lot of focus from me tojust yeah gazi should have a free second place as long as the pits don't go bad um or he doesn't make a mistake or as mechanical [Music] failure but now that I said it hey jumo Joo hope you're doing [Music] well why is the Clair saving so much overshot it we just rejoined so unsafely and [ __ ] over everyone outs basically outside the top 10 um I am a actual threat to everyone's lives on this track I told you guys I didn't practice much or as much as I should [Music] have hospital for a [ __ ] up back hey I feel that I and the worst part is this restarting session I can't even choose my uh tires again to somehow not start on tires that have 10% [Music] wear try to stay with them they might make a mistake and we could still regain the position [Music] maybe this will work out for us in a weird [Music] way super slow pit entry but I'm just trying not to get a penalty out of [Music] that yeah I know sleeping was is the worst part [Music] yeah look after these tires now and want to finish the race on this compound Mark already sounds so done with this race we started in first now we're in last [Music] I was hoping our last home race be a little different wing damage and it's going to really cost us so please prot it and bring the car what a time to make me look away oh my Christ well today's already there's actually really not much we can do today luckily it's a short 50% race and we came into these last few races knowing they were going to be no points basically and we came so close what was it in Mexico or was it South [Music] Pao and listen this honestly when you think about it makes up for the start of the Season before we start raising the difficulty a lot okay so Gap to the car ahead 22.3 seconds [Music] there were a couple races where we got wins or podiums and we definitely didn't deserve to because it was too easy um leading up to Monaco where I was like I don't want to raise it yet cuz of Monaco I feel like that was fair that was close oh boy [Music] okay unlucky mate that wasn't quite what we needed but let's not worry about it get your head down and chin up there's a trying to catch up to where we were before our pit so that means Max is still out of the points not a great day for Red Bull seems both of them taking the engine penalties at the same time really did kind of hurt their uh their end of the season run I don't remember what the Constructor cup is right now but I'm pretty sure it's Red Bull already won it so it doesn't matter since Max has won every race but three today will be oh my God today will be the fourth race of the Season that Max hasn't won unless something [ __ ] magical happens that'd be insane okay now we're gaining now that I'm kind team to have both drivers with the win and we got 17th I mean that's I thought for a second we actually beat someone no no those are all the dnfs max should not be the dri it should be Pierre for his first win come on here's the checker flag and here's our winner s manif it's Pier gazley first time we see the side of the garage celebrating and he beat two Ferraris look at that you know if I couldn't win the home race I'm glad the team did my home race it's not their home race at all fact they don't have a home race aren't they French oh my hands feel here come today's winning drivers and what a race this was look at him this is a team that knows success very well in F1 and they're just itching for even more congratulations to the Alpine team for their excellent win today we're happy for gley we are we're going to let this play up because it's our boy You know despite our issues with Mark we love gazley gazley I don't think we have much beef I think we've had a little bit of beef really falling behind we were we went from third all the way down to nth so it's really just not doing so lot gazley is catching up that's a problem but gazley finally gets his first win we beat There is five along with Pole Position same thing driven kilometer 6,647 um wow my pole I have five pole positions five Podium positions and my average grid position is average qualifying position is fifth average finish is actually 12th it's not great that's not great but I think for a rookie season this isn't a bad season at all um the amount of dnfs is bad 1 two 3 four 5 six that that doesn't
