hi everybody it's Kent bner here with Indie mortgage I just wanted to speak for a couple seconds in regards to a key topic here as we move ahead in the mortgage Market is payout penalties so what's the difference most people think it doesn't matter uh you got a bank a credit union a trust company uh payal penalties are all the same in fact that's quite the opposite there is significant differences between the calculations for payout penalties in Canada what we find is a lot of the charter Banks and credit unions are up here as far as the size of the penalties due to the way that they calculate those penalties you'll find that some of the monoline um lenders trust companies and whatnot have a more consumer friendly way of calculating payout penalties so it's very important to know what you're getting into if you're signing a fixed term in this environment so please reach out if you have any questions and thanks for tuning in and have a great week
