Malcolm Simmons: Auburn Football’s UNDERRATED receiver.

Intro I talk about how it's going how's it um Miss been going good just coming out here learning learning off learning freeze and just me you're you're making a pretty big splash you're in Camp I mean uh some everybody a lot of players talking about you and your and your speed I mean how do you feel things are going very um it's been going good uh my coach just telling me coach Mar uh coach me just beat me play Fast even if you play fast and stuff hadity come fast malol what did it mean to you to Scrimmage make those plays in the scrimmage in front of some people at your in here station U me coming in late um just making plays like I'm always making plays even even if I'm not doing the right thing but just come making plays just just put myself out there look you know I am that guy and I got some more guys around me so so we just come in and just work in day day out and St by that did Saturday almost give you a little bit more confidence like just doing that performance or having that performance um yeah it did a little bit um I was kind of nervous but coach was like just take a uh take a bre and just just play ball at the end the day so you feel like you feel like you're coming along pretty well catching on uh you know still got obviously some things you've got to to work on what what do you feel you need to improve um Me Knowing Me Knowing exactly what to do like I know I know my assignment just knowing how to run the routes and the time and just running corre obviously didn't go through Sprint Watching WRs practice but you were here almost every single day watching receivers and watching all the Thrills do you think that helped you yeah it did a lot uh me coming every screen this and just watching watching what I was going to be doing coach like long as you here and watching you get here it shouldn't be a big big step so I came as watch everything when I got here it was kind of a little bit easy me just knowing a load of things doing a little things just uh play those other three freshman from The WRs inate that you're with Cam and Perry and Bryce individually what about each of those guys makes them a good football player um we all have our we all have our different roles um Cam he's he's he's the bigger receiver so we like we just going to throw him the ball up like go line going throw him the ball period he's the the the powerful he's just going to get by people throw by get and get himself open uh Bryce he used he used to twe you he's going to get in out of his breaks quick just run by then me you got me I'm I'm I can do it all so I'm just I'm probably the most explosive one out of the grou but I mean we all exposive we all got our different different games but when all we all clicking as a receiver group offense is going to win so just us just being who we is playing how we play it's going to be Big M you play mostly slot or outside which one do you like the best um I like outside but they got me playing slot I mean whatever whatever the coaches want me to play or whatever I need to do to help the team win I'm going to do that you think you might be able to find some good match ups though in the slot oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah put the safety on me linebacker going both B cam was telling us that each one of The relationships you guys maybe have different strengths off the field as well like one of you guys I can't remember which one said one of you guys is really good at playing NCA football another one of you guys is good at basketball I think he said you just run everywhere U what is the relationship of you guys like and how nice is it to have you know three guys that are going through the exact same things you are each day um it's a it's a surreal a surreal feeling um with all us and state receivers I mean we we like before we uh before we all committed we just talk to you st every day just us off the field just becoming become better teammates know what each other to do telling each other what not to do yeah cam Cam he's probably the more laidback one but he play a lot and then you got uh Bryce he's more like the father of the group like he's he's telling us no don't do that no don't do this and then we got per per the best one that man then me I'm I don't know I just I just do it name so um so yeah that's it just us knowing knowing each other and what each other do how much time do you guys spend Spending time with teammates together you think um after the practice we at least three of us with each other if if per not sleep I'm with Bryce or if I'm not with Bryce I'm we here if if we not all with each other we probably not sleep going over play or we all run going over play with each other so so that's a good feeling um one players and getting our stuff and knowing what we have to do for them not too far from Alex City from here you going have a lot of people here watching uh yes sir uh the scrimmage I had my sister and a couple of my uh couple my friends home like every weekend I got they near like 20 people down here my room so we just they just come down here and um just hang and and and I'm telling them long as y'all long as I got support I be go out thank you
