country capitalism how much is it let me ask you uh my here's my iss's one of my issues with k Harris I want your perspective on it I think she has two two issues she has not stated her actual policies and the reason I respect somebody like Bernie Sanders more than I respect Kamala and I've said this numerous occasion I'm not saying it just right now is if you have convictions at least stand by them if you believe in single-payer healthcare if you believe in an effective National healthare system for all then stand by it but why adopt those positions four years ago only to back off of them today right I could disagree with you but at least have the position and stick to it that's sort of what my criticism is and my suspicion is there might be some counterintuitive alliances between the so-called farle and actually segments of the so-called far right that want to stay out of Foreign Wars that want to end crony capitalism and lobbying and government capture to say that you know what there might be ways where you may not agree with 100% of what I say or what Donald Trump says but you don't have to agree with 100% of what somebody says to think outside the box and vote a little bit differently what do you think I I actually you said I wanted you know I am here to to listen a little bit so I'd love to hear your guys' perspectives on why you're here and why you have your own disappointments with the current direction of the is going to be able to represent us they can't be pressured into representing us because we don't pay their bills we don't pay kamal's trumps what exactly of controlled rhetoric right you have a lot of corporate interests controlling the way in which they actually assail those very corporate interests which is kind of interesting it is I think we might be saying something similar it's all a bit of a charade yeah I would say one thing with that is definitely we're not similar on is you were talking about unification of like the far right and the far left um there is no I don't unification but there be some common threats well we would say this that there is no perfect American communism American socialism like this you know these other little parties popping up it has to be International we aren't here for the success of American uh of American working class because the only way we can be there for the success of the American working class is the international working class working class in Canada and in Mexico if you had some and now we don't believe in this but let's say there was some perfect uh you know socialist America it would immediately get pushed out by China by Russia by Europe so we need an international socialist revolution in order to secure a true victory for the working class woo be what are your FAL reparations for black Americans so here's my perspective I was asked about this when I came to the south side of Chicago a year ago and my position on this has not changed is I'm against race-based reparations because I think it will create more division what about race based discrimination that occurred in this country for yeah I let me let me just clarify one aspect I think there was a time and place for it in the Reconstruction Era but today when we actually bring back racial reparations it actually causes greater discrimination not more I think we're seeing a wave arise in anti-black and I think other forms of racism in the country but part of the reason I think we're seeing it is there's no better way to Foster racial animists than to take something away from someone based on their skin color so don't people J this because it'll make other people upset well because it's going to create more Division and be self-defeating I think it's actually going to set black Americans back because it will cause I mean I actually black Americans continue to live in that I want to move out I want to move out of the middle of this just I feel let me say this you're not going to be able to you are not going to be able to solve this problem under capitalism you're always going to be coming up with these little Band-Aid issues that is why the only way to truly get reparations for the indigenous people for the black Americans in this country is a socialist Revolution Is by seizing the means of production and letting that Community give themselves reparations we don't need to be asking for oh please God so more on the reparations part in a minute and obviously I think it's hilarious that the ginger man wants to create an international socialist Revolution and seize the means of production and whatnot but at least he's willing to have a conversation with f and not just belittle him and demean him for cheap points in front of his friends got to respect that I mean it would have been very easy for him to do that because he's surrounded by other leftists who agree with him and V is completely outnumbered so glad he didn't go down that route but to V's point there the point that this gentleman so vehemently disagrees with about there being Common Ground between left and right this is an interesting one and it's one that actually has a lot of weight because once upon a time the leftist rhetoric used to be very anti-corporation anti- big government anti-monopoly Etc and now they seem to be all about big farmer and they seem to be all about big Tech censorship and all about supporting these big massive monopolistic institutions that once upon a time they would have protested however I do think there are out there a lot of honest liberals classic liberals for example that would find a lot of common ground with the right on these issues right-wing figures like vas Swami taka Carlson even Dave Smith he wouldn't consider himself on the right and me for that matter I mean we would all like to see the Deep State or the bureaucracies or the shadowy figures that pull the strings not be able to have unadulterated power over the markets and over governments and other important institutions anyways on to the next part now which is briefly about reparations before a mentally unhinged individual comes and verbally farts in vas Swami's face and I want you to watch vama Swami's body language during this exchange see what you pick up on and I'll check in after you know what I would say is actually buil business one many business I've built we've had black women who have been in leadership position one of the things that irritated the heck out of me was that many times you would have people who were not as good at their jobs that would grie about that person getting the job because of her race or her gender I think that's insulting to a lot of people who otherwise would have had their position based on Merit anyway so when we create more race Consciousness I think it sets all of us back versus asking how do we actually get the equality of opportunity have we been perfect about that no we have not that's the conversation I would rather be having rather than quotas at the end of the process which is a different view your family benefited but the intention is and things like that right being allowed to come into America I think people I think the beauty of America is that if you love this country and are willing to make contributions you should have a legal way of getting in so I'm also dead set against illegal immigration and you want to know one of the things that's setting a lot of black Americans back including in the south side of Chicago where I visited 63rd 63r is actually is actually the wave of illegal Mass migration that is turning Southshore High School into an encampment for migrants at $7,000 per Mig per month that's not good for black Americans here anymore than it's good for white around for 50 years long after Donald Trump's Dawn the first time in the campaign we get a death threat of a man who wants to show up in New Hampshire thankfully the police intervene got it the next day the next day back toback so my wife's scared enough the next day we wake up it's 3:00 a.m. we get a call from him he's my security guard saying thank God you picked up because we just got a call that somebody showed up at your house and has four dead bodies so that's within 48 hours and I'm not going to attribute that to your comment because whatever it is but for our family you know what publicly I didn't do it but for our family yeah it pissed us the pissed us the heck off actually and so the reality is I don't try to engage in rhetoric that gets other people in in danger of bodily harm but I do think that if somebody's going to even if you didn't intend to provoke that kind of ey on my family yeah in that week it landed with me now at the same time am I going to test test do I want to set of good example for people in this country what discourse looks like I do and In the Heat of a presidential campaign and I've been open about this since I left the campaign as well my competitive Spirits you know sometimes stop us from being able to have the level the disc person want and I think you were wrongfully pushed out of the White House for your comments around 911 way back when as well they were misconstrued exactly so so what I will tell you is this y so I just wanted you to know that backdrop that's my my personal song don't give to anybody else I will in a thing behind his back but then when confronted he can't back it up but then on the other hand the more charitable interpretation of this is to give van Jones the benefit of the doubt and to say that he was fair in the situation he realized that he was in the wrong he probably shouldn't have said that sort of thing because it really had no Browning in reality whatsoever and that he in his apology and actually will call the rahas Swami's wife I would hope that is the case and I am feeling generous today but who knows maybe in a few months time van Jones will say something similar on the news
