Are College Football Rivalries gone with new re-alignment?

plus I enjoyed our independent status because we got to play Alabama we got to play Missouri and Nebraska and Notre Dame and some of these teams and first of all we had rivalry games like our game against pit every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving was a great rivalry game and and that was going to go away you know we played West Virginia every year it was a really good rival we played Syracuse teams you know Eastern teams that you know Penn State had always played and all of a sudden we weren't going to have that plus I enjoyed our independence status because we got to play Alabama we got to play Missouri and Nebraska Notre Dame and some of these team so I wasn't a huge huge fan at the time but now uh especially with everybody kind of realigning and getting in conferences
