you're probably healthier than you've been in a little while just how does it feel to go through the spring now you obviously were limited last spring and kind of fighting through some stuff just how do you feel physically right now um well first i want to say what's going on kelly what's going on here's y'all folks uh i mean i feel i feel really good i feel uh normal to be back to myself um just be out here with my guys and i'm not really you know i'm saying i'm still kind of banged up a little bit but i'm still mostly more uh like about 90 90 uh back healthy so i'm just just happy to be out here and do what i do next question comes from brad mckenzie from 247 sports hey jordan you're naturally you're the old guy in the room uh what has it been like for you as far as competition with these young guys nipping at your heels oh yeah um how's it going ryan and then um these young guys uh they push me every single day so uh every every single day is something new um you know just like y'all just seeing dante uh with his weight and how he's moving he's still moving the same with with more weight and you know we still got a job we still got uh the young cats coming in like jamaica's and all of them but every day is something new with them um they always bring the competition to the table and you know we all fight for the same position so we're just gonna keep keep going next question comes from ken segura from the atlanta journal constitution hi jordan um how's it going very good thanks for asking uh i'm curious regarding that competition like in the perspective of like a practice or a period how does that competition influence you like does it make you do things that you know if you weren't being pushed you wouldn't do something like that um i don't know about that because regardless at the end of the day um we're not just competing against each other as uh just as in georgia tech i mean we're still competing against all running backs all over the country the world i mean to get to the same position we all want to get to and that's the nfl so um no you gotta you gotta still push yourself regardless of who who's here who's not here next question comes from kelly quinlan from rivals it seems like the competition aspect is kind of amped up for you guys um and even in the offseason workouts i know with the win thing and all that just have you seen the buy-in increase from guys across the board it seems like everyone's a little more on the same page is that is that accurate hello i couldn't hear you it's a little bit like you said have i seen have i seen one again is everyone kind of on the same page in terms of the off-season workouts and the buy-in it seems like it's it's pretty high right now oh yeah this is uh um this is our third season so i mean everybody should know what the expectations are of the season and how we should uh attack the season so either you're gonna buy in or you're gonna get left out and then uh inside it is around here next question another one from ken segura from the atlanta journal constitution um jordan obviously since 2018 when you know you got it most of the the carries and reps things have obviously changed and i'm curious i think it'd be easy to you know grumble and pout but obviously you're not doing that you're you know you've kind of stepped things up and how do you kind of think about that or process that of knowing that just things you know where maybe you could kind of see you know i'm going to be the guy here things are kind of changing oh yeah um just just how you look at it is you step in when it's your turn uh when your number's caught you know um so if that's sharing reps that's what i got to do but uh at the end of the day we just still competing for who get the who get the starting job who who's gonna play the most we're gonna get them uh we're gonna get the ball more it's just everybody compete for that spot we'll have time for a couple more for jp we'll go ahead and take one from rod mckenzie from 247 sports hey jordan i imagine it's never dull out there in practice with with uh coach choice mentoring you guys what's it like being around him at practice oh yeah um it's it's juice energy is i mean it's not like you said it's never a dull moment uh what i can see uh what i see at coach choice is uh he's always mentoring um easy off the field on the field he's just he's always a mentor for coach i've said that before but um i mean the room only gonna get better it's gonna it's just gonna keep rising with the competition with the um with the people he brings in it's just gonna keep getting better and better because that's just what kind of what kind of person he is
