If you're gonna be grilling though. Yeah, we do have the uh, shower and thunderstorm chances out there kind of scattered about. So go ahead, get the grill out. Just keep in mind we will have some scattered rain around from time to time and some thunderstorms, especially as we get into this afternoon, taking you out to the UN T campus in Denton right now. It's 76 degrees. We do have the cloudy skies out there for you. We have seen some passing showers overnight very early this morning out there. The clouds are gonna be hanging in as we go through the day. So, not a whole lot in the way of sunshine. That's gonna help keep those temperatures down a little bit as we go through the day as well. But here's what it looks like on radar right now. You see nothing up into Denton but some spotty showers as we get out into Tarrant County, the southwester part of Dallas County, out towards Cedar Hill along highway 67 a few more showers there and had a few more this morning and look, looks like we'll have the better chances again today, we'll stay out to our west. That's where we'll have the more widespread showers and storms. So, if you do have those outdoor plans, they will certainly be impacted in those areas today. And again, it is going to stay mostly cloudy throughout the afternoon and evening hours today. So, will your outdoor plans get wet? Yes, most likely in our southwester counties later today. And it will be possible in and around the metroplex. So, just keep that in mind. Not very likely though as we head into a far eastern northeastern counties, rain chances much lower as we head a little farther out to the north and east heading out I 30 I 20. So here's that time casts as we go through the day. So again, not much happening into our northeastern counties, but we will have the scattered showers and storms more widespread west of Dallas and Fort Worth as we get into the afternoon, that will continue later into the, into the day into this evening as well. And then as we head into the overnight hours, I still think we'll see some showers and maybe kind of hanging around and persisting during the evening and overnight hours heading towards 7 a.m. tomorrow morning. Still looking at fairly widespread showers and storms in our western counties. The better chance with the rain tomorrow will be early in the day it looks like and that will start to taper off, I think as head toward the afternoon. Hours for Tuesday, we'll still see some scattered showers and storms around late in the day for that afternoon rush on Tuesday. But by Tuesday night, heading on into Wednesday, rain changes do start to dry up quite a bit. And as we head toward the latter half of the week, those rain chances do dry up all together. But we are looking at upwards of an inch over our western counties and you see a little farther south and west, we could see upwards of 1 to 3 inches before it's all said and done through Wednesday and less so elsewhere across North Texas. Now, the temperatures, they will only be in the upper eighties today, low, mid eighties tomorrow and Wednesday. So, yes, well, below normal fours. And then those temperatures do get back up closer to the seasonal normals by Friday as we're looking at those lower nineties. So the 14 day forecast for you, we are looking at those temperatures that will be on the cooler side through Wednesday back closer to normal Thursday and Friday. And then we will be right around 90 degrees as we get into the upcoming weekend. So not looking too bad at all for next weekend with the drier air moving in, we'll have plenty of sunny skies and daytime highs. We'll stay in the lower nineties even as we get into next week. All right, one more check on traffic back over at the station.
