My take on South Carolina’s win over Kentucky!! Plus expectations!!

good morning good morning hope everybody's having a great Sunday morning with South Carolina beating Kentucky yesterday 31 to6 I know I'm having a great morning not only just because of the wind yesterday but it's nice and cool outside birds flying through the air uh just a beautiful day beautiful day in South Carolina beautiful day want to give my take on the game before I do that please like comment subscribe if you like it give a thumbs up if you don't that's fine th down doesn't cost you anything free of charge it's much appreciated my thoughts on the game well Shane Beamer you had them more prepared this week you had the boys more prepared I give you credit there sir Clayton white I ragged you last year I ragged you I'm kind of going to eat crow on that one sir you've got a defense I think our defense is a defense to be reckoned with with any team we play now I'm going out on the limb and I'm saying that right now they look really good now our Rush defense needs to improve and I'm sure anybody that watch the game will say the exact same thing but we have Edge rushers and a pass rush that is OMG out of this world and now we got tape on you know film we got take people can see it so they're going to try to prepare for us and they see our weak points is our Rush defense so hopefully we can get better at that hopefully we can get better offensively it's it's a struggle we're on a struggle bus to be expected with a red shirt freshman quarterback he's going to make mistakes his peripheral vision is not good right now but that will come in time the game will slow down offensive line if I had to grade them I'd give them a c uh receivers I would probably give them a C+ but a D in blocking and when I say receivers that includes tight ends you know when you have DBS coming in untouched across the line of scrimmage toward the quarterback that's not good and some of that heck I mean we could see it because we're watching television I don't know if Lenor saw it and thought he could step in front of I I just don't know what his mindset was but at the end of the day that should never happen someone should push him chip him you know receiver should tight end should someone should put hands on him but you know what it's a sec fo it's a sec win and we're two and0 right now and there's a lot to be said for that I had the Gamecocks winning five or six and looks like we're going down a path that we could do do that we could go bowling and this was a very very important game for us to make a bowl game this is a very important win this game was in order for us to make a bowl game this year and you know what there's a lot of work to be done everybody should celebrate this win and tomorrow is another day and our team needs to hit the field practice and prepare game day is going to be in Columbia South Carolina at Williams Bryce we're playing LSU at noon high and uh that's that's that's on paper I think we're going to be somewhere between a 10 and 15 16 point dog at home and rightfully so if you look at it on paper rightfully so now don't hold me to that that's just what my thought process is but overall it's a win congratulations Shane congratulations big congratulations to all the players you know Kentucky helped us they look like trash they really did I mean they they played sloppy ball that that was unlike Kentucky what I've seen in the last few years very sloppy ball they were holding on about every third play just cuz our defensive line was just overtaking their offensive line now I mean we we just we made the meal and ate it for them made the meal and ate it everyone knows that's been following the Gamecock for a long period of time when we win a game we're not supposed to win traditionally We Lay egg to next week I hope that tradition right there is broken this week I really do do I expect us to beat the LSU I don't know honestly if we do I would be shocked but if we go out and we look competitive and we keep it within two scores I will be happy which I predicted the the winner of South Carolina Kentucky would be the first one to 20 it looks like it was right so everybody celebrate this one I celebrated it hard last night if y'all listen to the call-in show with Gamecock Chuck you could tell I was a bit inebriated but um feel great this morning it's a beautiful morning and uh good win we have a path Force itself to make a bowl game and we have to continue to improve offensively and defensively more offensively Shane gave his uh press conference at the beginning of the week and he kind of looked like he had his tail tuck between his legs and I think they went to work and I'm I'm proud of the program proud of the coaching staff and let's just hope we do it again this week hope everybody has a great one thank you
