New Gladiator goes to battle - Rlaarlo ROG1- Car killer

[Music] hello welcome to popong RC I am Carlos Maximus and today we are taking a look at the ralo Gladiator [Music] he [Music] [Applause] so here it is R og1 nice looking car 14 plus speed wise we're looking at 70 to 100 kilm hour um I do like ralo cars so this is the fourth ralo car we've had here on poong RC and um I've always been impressed with the quality of the builds so let's get inside the box and take a look at what we get so opening it up we have a wheelie bar I say if it's capable of 100 km an hour I imagine it's going to have some serious talk um as well so therefore wheelies are going to be quite easy we've got a USB for charging um and you can tell by how wide this is that it's actually for a 3s battery so I hope this car comes with a 3s battery looking at it is a 114th scale RC car so 114th scale car not the first 114th scale car we've had here on the channel however this has got a bit of weight behind it the previous 114 scale cars we have had have been plastic tub chassis so if we actually look at the details that we've got on here we've got uh hard plastic bumpers I really like this I'm I'm not a massive fan of body Clips um because I'm always losing them but these little rubber attachments mean you're not going to lose these clips anytime soon um nice Graphics there on the body few little details in the back as well and then we get to the inside of this car so we have got our 114th scale um ready to run buggy as you can see here it comes with a battery so if I take it's a nice little felc strap to hold the battery in place as well like so so that's nice and secure it is not a hard case battery so um but it is 3s that's really quite tidy um I was curious actually when they quoted that they could do 100 kilm an hour I'm thinking it's never going to do that on a 2s battery but a 3s um it is quite Poss if you saw our recent Speed Run um we were getting about 60 MPH off of a 2s I can definitely see this getting close to 100 km an hour so obviously we've got the ESC on top here um we've got a water sealed unit there which has got the receiver in so this car is going to be deemed as water resistant we've got some really solid nice components fully adjustable so we can adjust the Toe with these ones here we can adjust the camber of the front wheels with these ones here uh we've got fully adjustable shocks they actually feel quite nicely made as well sometimes you get cars and they're not put together quite well enough in the factory and they feel a little bit soft but these shocks feel good um once we've had a little play of it I might experiment with different um thickness oils that you can put in so we see there's an example here so we got 250 CST um so different way oils that you can put in the shocks to help with the behavior and the characteristics of the car what I've also spotted as well we have got some anti- roll bars which as front and rear as standard which is really nice nice little Servo down there these tires have got loads to grip super soft rubber um happy with that a 2845 3,600 KV motor do you know what that is a really nice looking build we have got um metal shock Towers metal oil filled adjustable shocks and all of this is on um a stunning chassis so I'm going to take that off actually I'll leave it on there for now on a stunning chassis really nice graphic on there as well and you can see there it says Gladiator um tear up the dirt now as for the radio it is quite a nice sized radio this um fits in hand nicely it is plastic has got this carbon fiber effect sort of etched into the plastic there um nice feel and if we open up the back here you've got a couple of um settings that you can tweak so we have got our trim for steering um but more importantly this bit here throttle um I'm guessing it's end point adjust obviously we've got 100% there if this car is capable of 100 kilometers an hour you're not going to be able to run that everywhere so using this little dial here you can turn down the speed to make it a little bit more um drivable um maybe if you want to let your kid have a go um you can turn it down at 25 so they don't just drive it into a brick wall um but yeah nice little radio really helpful feature that um that actually makes this car even more desirable because I feel confident running a car 100 km an hour but I wouldn't feel confident letting my son um run one that fast so therefore being able to dial it back um if you're not in a big wide open space is a very handy feature now we have actually got what is that A2 an A2 sheet that folds up um into a little booklet which has got the exploded drawings of all the parts and the bits that you can order and in the box there is also some additional stickers so I did mention it has a nice shell and when I first saw thinking it's missing some windows but they're actually here so I'm going to put the rest of these stickers onto this car and um just finish it off enough waffling about this let's get this car charged up and get it out on the road so the USB the adapter for the charger is plugged into the wall there and charg in now if you are charging um a lipo battery we always recommend that you pop it into a lipo safe bag because um unfortunately there is a risk that lipos can ignite so Lithium Polymer batteries if overcharged or charged incorrectly can be risky therefore we encourage people to use a lipo safe bag St [Applause]
