Tech score predictions what's a good night for the Red Raiders tomorrow against avalene Christian uh it's Friday that means we ask you what's the most Texan thing you've done this week uh and then you got a former quarterback who's ripping love and yeah it happens and got some thoughts on that everything else anything else that is on your mind we're going to clean up the week together so uh if channel long time though see good to see you again Alan um Tech baseball and Tech softball probably with Under Armour had the best uniforms of all of the sports that they were they were solid you didn't have to tweak much other than get rid of the Under Armour font for Tech and some numbers things and otherwise it was going to be pretty good ordered them got them on Tuesday those are my people fired up about the shirt so you know you look at things when we for those of you who are engaged in sports betting wager and otherwise when you go to analyze a game uh you look at the total uh which is sitting around 58 half you look at the spread in this one it doesn't really matter it's Tech 31 A2 which is stupid ridiculous never bet a game on a spread that is like that don't do it so you then you look at game script game narrative what do you think is going to happen so if you're a tech fan and you think TOS Brooks is gonna have a good night what does that mean how many carries is that 15 20 what okay you got one of the best running backs in college football you you want if you're a tech fan Tosh Brooks to carry the ball every time he carries the ball the clock runs right so that's going to compress possessions and I think we're about the average fan right now is about a year or two behind on compressed possessions in college football that you're still thinking in terms of you know in the 50s and 60s as big numbers now we're kind of going old school that if you're in the 40s Maxim I'm not talking about what Arkansas was doing last night those are one-offs those are outliers that it's really hard unless you're playing somebody just bereft of talent to hang up a 63 to1 I'm not picking on Mark right there Craig 4513 Val 3813 uh Jerry Tech 45 ACU 17 sniffing around pretty much where I am Taj gets 200 on the ground uh I don't think he'll get 200 on the ground because I don't think they'll run him that much I do think he'll get over 100 Allen 5216 uh right around where I think the tech defense is going to be CJ 48-21 Raiders Brooks 200 yards r i don't I'll be shocked if he gets 200 yards on the ground because there's no reason to run him that hard when he gets his buck 25 Buck 35 on 15 16 carries and hopefully at that point the game's you know Out Of Reach he doesn't need to be out there same thing for your quarterback don't be looking for Baron Morton to throw for 350 yards give me a good solid 260 270 hit some tight ends during the day Micah Hudson gets him about five or six catches because we talk game script and there's only so many plays and every time you're giving the ball to TOS Brooks you're not throwing it to Micah Hudson every time you throw it to mikah Hudson You're not throwing it to one of the three tight ends you've got out there or Dre McCrae you get the idea so you've got to understand the concept of game script and how you think it's going to play out when you go to make your predictions now the game script I think we're going to see out of Texas Tech two-fold offense defense offense obviously Run game let that offensive line settle in let that offensive line settle in and block some people reestablish the offensive line the point of attack downfield a little bit let them get going let them play some snaps and run block and then you can play action off that and that's going to be your tight end and then you can hit the Deep ball then you can hit M people are going to be wondering maybe in the second quarter I can absolutely see second quarter Micah Hudson no targets yet people are gonna be like what the hell's going run game a trot game a caner game uh a lope game uh but a a full out Gallop no I do not believe Buzz has that in it still kind of shocked that he's coming back but what do I know about horses Jared why are the Adidas uniforms popping more than the under army uniforms we've had for the last 10 years I don't know I didn't major in fashion merchandising or textiles I would say uh that uh maybe just maybe they've got some of the color right Fabric's a little different they got more money than Under Armour maybe they went cheap don't know most Texon thing I did this week says jured showed up hot children survived the week good for you week two week two children taught maybe maybe the biggest thing for me this week is a West Texan was just sitting there checking your mzet checking the radar going to the mezzet and then this afternoon looking at the mzet and for the first time and at least 34 days my mzet had 24hour and 1 hour precipitation totals it's an unbelievably rough year uh for a producers around West Texas pray hard and pray hard for him because this this rain will help it never hurts um it'll help but for many it's a little bit too late bit too little rany the adus numbers are a little off on the Unis can't put it down but they're off uh no actually I like the UN I like the numbers compared to the Under Armour font not knowing how old you are and kind of what you grew up with uh I want them to take the next step and move away completely from the armor font on the numbers and get me back to the 60s 70s and 80s font on the numbers which is a really good block number uh the Texas Tech uniforms look great with with Texas Tech across the front uh they've got everything nailed stripes are good everything looks really good even the uh color it's Scarlet not red by the way scarlet and black not red and black deep deep red Scarlet blood red so maybe what you're is just a little bit of difference from that that you know you got to process the most Texan thing you did this week what was that we ask you what you think the score will be and really beyond that what's a good night for Texas Tech that you would you would feel good walking out of there at the end of the night and hopefully it's rainy it's wet and you're walking back to your truck the tailgate wet and everything else you go damn it that a good night that look good what is that what's that storyline that you need to see because For Me part of it is going to be controlling line of scrimmage both sides of the ball establish physical dominance against an Acu team if you can't do that tomorrow night you know what you're probably not going to do it the rest of the year because what could you not do at Wyoming you couldn't establish physical dominance and what did you not do the rest of the year last year hi there show me some of that points are not meaningless to me I don't need 60 points to feel good if you went out and got 42 points and looked efficient doing it and you involved the offense and all the components and you controlled the game and dictated every phase of it while only giving up say 13 or 17 points that's really a good football game in today's world it is hard to shut out anybody every aspect of football right now is about the offense so if I tell you right now 42- 17 Baron Morton no interceptions three touchdown passes 260 275 Taj Brooks 16 17 carries Buck 25 Buck 35 your tight ends all touch the football in the passing game maybe one of them gets a touchdown and Micah Hudson gets about 10 targets trying to make my math balance out here and catches about six or seven passes you good with that 42 to 17 you take that fake Natalie means you should always have Texas Tech on the front not Red Raiders I agree it should say Texas Tech in the block lettering why I'm in coach out North Dakota State moving on moving up we're moving out take your pick let you guys way in you know oh yeah um so apparently the guy who used to play quarterback in Texas Tech Tyler shuck he uh he was on a podcast up there at Louisville and he he said said some things about loic that weren't really complimentary ER smells like you know cow and nothing to do and different things and I'm like okay when I when I first you know heard it on social media I thought all right maybe he blowing up a little bit whatever now I went back and listen to it thank you rob bro gambling gouches yeah um the hell are you thinking so in the past you know or whatever in the past I try to give young people as much grace as I can because I was stupid in young once and I said things uh on radio and different things that people would probably be upset about back in the day however things have changed so if you're Tyler Shu you got treated like a professional here you you took money from really good West Texas businesses you took nil money quite a bit of it and it wasn't contingent on you playing well or even being healthy but the checks cashed and LC Texas took care of you LC Texas took you in when it wasn't working out at Oregon when it wasn't working out where you were and LC Texas took you in and then even after one year when you bitched and moaned after the season about doubters and this and that even even then folks are still like hey okay yeah all right he's our guy and still LC Texas took you in Tyler so these days if you want to get paid like a pro like Tyler did he cashed the checks like a professional quarterback like a profession professional you're no longer some kid you're no longer some just straight running dumbass who you know bless his heart he's just a kid doing the best he can all he was getting was free room and boor no you're you're a pro you're a professional quarterback in lck taxes making a lot of money so when you come back and rip lck you get to be ripped like a pro you don't get the you don't get the cover anymore more of being a college kid of being an amateur athlete of just doing it for the Love of the Game you don't get that anymore so as I look at the comments have people said worse things about love Yeah have I probably said some things kind of similar yeah hey you know when it smells like that by the way Tyler you know what that is that's money that feed lot money that's money you know when the wind blows the other way it smells like oil and gas you know what that is and money and you know what that money is it's the money that paid you your nil yeah that's what that is 100% that's where that money comes from now as for nothing to do and nothing going on I guess you're just a boring s i shouldn't say that be wrong which is shouldn't do that shouldn't say that but if you want to get treated and you want to get paid like a pro well there you go now I want to say this everybody's saying um oh he'll uh he'll get hurt and it won't matter don't do that don't wish that on anybody we never wish injury on anybody whatever else some people just can't stay healthy and he's one of those guys who just can't stay healthy and that's it but don't don't sit there and say yeah uh God will pay him back or you know West Texas will pay him back when he's injured and hurt for a little don't do that don't do that I a way to play it uh Randy wants to know do I think Todd Dodge at Lovejoy will hang half a hundred by halftime on love Cooper I don't know how good love Cooper is this year or not couldn't couldn't begin to tell you I uh I do not invest much time in high school sports beyond my son's program uh now that he's graduated even then that has dropped off high school football to me knock you guys out knock yourself out do whatever I don't I don't I enjoy it I do I truly do but I do not invest any of my time in it it's just there to be enjoyed Florida Raiders shuck is soft all over you kinky son of a gun what are you not telling us about your relationship CJ Tyler was the reason we lost Wyoming in Oregon no he wasn't you lost to wyomi because your defense couldn't get off the freaking field in the grew up here we earned the right to criticize love I now I I agree to that I agree with that to a point to an to an extent that yeah you know I can talk bad about my family you can't talk about my anybody's everever said no but again you don't get it both ways you don't get all the money you took out of the market and then get to play the dumb college kid the game has changed that is if if we take away anything from here tonight take take that away not that Tyler Shuck's a horrible person I don't think he's a horrible person I think though he deserves all the ridicule scorn and everything he gets because he took the check he took the bag you want the money now kids you get what they get you get to be treated like a pro you don't get to take the pro money and then run around and claiming well I'm just a young college guy I can't be no it's not it I can I I can remember driving by a feed lot out by Herford I was probably like eight or nine years old I was coming back from somewhere with my dad and it was a day kind of like kind of like right now in late summer and it was wet and you guys know what the feed L smell like when it gets wet and the wind comes out of the East and it's blowing that I'm like oh you know he said you know what that is that's money that's money right there damn right it is that was the money that paid you Tyler Chuck that smell you now as for nothing to do in love it you're just you're just lame I guess plenty to do in LC there's you can do everything in L that you can do in Louisville other than go to the Kentucky Derby I guess or is
